Maria DeLuca walked into the apartment she shared with her long time boyfriend Michael Guerin.

"Michael what do you say in a couple weeks we go visit Liz in L.A.?" Asked Maria
"Maria, you know I hate the people out there! They are so fake! Don't forget when we went out to dinner with Liz last time that her co star Zan Banister came up to us and asked you for a hook up right in front of me!"
"Yeah and you beat the shit out of him."
"How the fuck does Parker put up with that shit wipe?"
"Well you must of missed her blow up on TMZ a few weeks ago. She dumped her coffee all over him."

"Fine call her and make the arrangements."

Zan walked into his Aunt and Uncle's house. He smirked at his cousin Isabel.

"What up cuz?" Asked Zan
"What are you doing here creep?"
"Uncle Phil wanted to see me."
"Can't image why."
"You just like your brother. Both you need a fuck."
"Just go see dad and stay out of my life!"
"Gee Izzybell I would think you don't like me."

Zan smirked and headed for his Uncle's office. He knocked on the door and went in.

"Hey Uncle Phil. What you want to see me about?" Asked Zan
"Do you know this woman?" Asked Philip putting a photo in front of him.
"Yeah met her at a party a while ago."
"You have sex with her?"
"Yeah. So? She is of age right?"
"Yes. Did you use protection?"
"Yo Uncle Phil what this about?"
"Her name is Ava Stevens and is claiming you are the father of her unborn baby."
"Don't mean it true."
"Well it best you get yourself a lawyer. If the DNA test proves you are the baby's father you can kiss a very large part of your money goodbye."
"Can't you help me?"

"Zan, you need to grow up. You got into this mess yourself. You need to get out of it."

Zan left in anger he was never going to give that bitch anything. So what if she got knocked up after being with him. He will just have to find away to make her go away. He grinned he knew just what to do to get her and her brat out of his life without her getting one dime from him.

Liz answered her cell with a smile when she saw Maria's name come up.

"Hi Maria."
"Hey babe. So how does three weeks from today sound for Michael and me to come out?"
"That will be fine. I will get you your tickets."
"You are the greatest. So any hints on what happens tomorrow?"
"Sorry Maria but no."
"Damn! Ok what about this horror movie coming out in two weeks?"
"Other than I get covered in fake blood I won't say anything."
"What is the point of having my best friend on a hit TV show and in movies if I can't get any dirt?"
"Sorry Maria but I am not going to tell you anything."
"Sometimes I hate you Liz."
"I know. Love you Maria."
"Love you too."

They hung up and Liz went to work cleaning her apartment.

Liz opened the door to her apartment when she heard a knock on the door. She smiled at Alex who was rolling his eyes at Serena and her boyfriend Kyle. They were kissing.

"Hey Liz." Said Alex
"Hey Alex glad you could come."
"Wouldn't miss it."
"Yo Serena! Stop sucking Kyle's face before my neighbors call the cops!"

Serena and Kyle pulled apart both blushing.

"Nice to see you again Parker." Said Kyle
"Yeah well Valenti be on your best behavior tonight. I invited my neighbor from across the hall and his sister to join us." Said Liz
"Ok Liz." Said Kyle
"Liz, is there something going on with you and this guy?" Asked Serena
"No. But there is something you should know. Turns out he is Zan's cousin. But he couldn't be more different."
"Can't wait to meet him." Said Serena

Just then there was a knock on the door. Liz took a deep breath and went to open the door. Liz smiled at Max and Isabel.

"Thank you both for coming." Said Liz
"Hey this sounded like fun." Said Isabel
"Come on in and meet everyone." Said Liz

Liz lead them into the living room. She had to smile when she noticed Alex looking at Isabel. Alex headed over to them with a smile.

"Alex meet Max and Isabel Evans. Max and Isabel meet my TV brother and all around nice guy, Alex Whitman." Said Liz
"Nice to meet both of you." Said Alex
"You too." Said Isabel
"Want something to drink? Liz doesn't have any alcohol but she has a bunch of other stuff." Said Alex
"Sure, let's go see what she has." Said Isabel

Isabel walked off to the kitchen with Alex. Max just raised an eyebrow at Liz.

"He really is a good guy."
"I believe you."
"Come on and meet Serena and Kyle. Though I might need to take a hose to them."
"Are you joking?"
"Nope."

Max just shook his head. They headed over to the couch where Max saw a couple who were in a heavy make out session.

"Hey what have I told you two about doing this shit in my house!" Said Liz

Kyle and Serena pulled apart both turning red.

"Max meet Serena Turner and her boyfriend Kyle Valenti. Serena and Kyle my neighbor and friend Max Evans." Said Liz
"Nice to meet you man." Said Kyle
"Max, uh I don't know how to say this but you look a lot like Zan." Said Serena
"Please don't think I am anything like my ass of a cousin." Said Max

Serena let out a laugh.

"Max, babe if you were anything like that dipshit Lizzie here would never have let you in her home."

Max smiled he liked Serena already. He looked over at his sister who was laughing at something Alex had said. Liz excused herself to go finish working on dinner.

Zan leaned down to the table and snorted another line of cocaine. He wiped his nose with the back of his hand. He grabbed a shot of tequila and drank it down. He grinned at his buddy Rath who was hosting this party who was currently getting a blow job from some chick. He and Rath go way back. They had met at a party when they were fourteen. That was almost ten years ago. That was also the night he first did both crack and cocaine. He also had sex for the first time at that party. It had been with an older woman. She showed him the joy of sex.

"Zan it's been a while." Said a blond big breasted woman
"Pam Troy! Where you been babe!" Said Zan
"Around. Though I haven't had a good lay since we were last together."
"Well let's go find some where to take care of that."

Part 12

Liz watched the TV as the last scene of "Stone Crossing" played out. The way it had been originally been written Rob and Julia had sex the first time. But now it showed Julia walking in on Rob having sex with another girl. It wasn't until the final second of the show that it was revealed to be Julia's cousin Nicole, who was played by Kate Patterson. Liz, Zan and Kate were the only cast members who knew how that scene was to play out.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Yelled Serena
"Rena, you didn't know?" Asked Kyle
"Hell no! Alex?" Said Serena looking at him.
"Uh no." Said Alex
"Liz?" Asked Serena
"I knew. Only Zan, Kate and I were given the rewrite. This is what Zan was so mad about. It was originally Zan and Julia having sex. But I have a clause in my contract that prevents me from doing those kind of scenes." Said Liz
"So what Rob was secretly cheating on Julia?" Asked Isabel
"It will be explained next season." Said Liz
"So you don't know?" Asked Max
"No I don't. But I do know that Kate wasn't too happy about filming it." Said Liz
"Yeah well she doesn't like him any more then you do Liz." Said Alex
"True. So you guys have a good time?" Asked Liz
"Yeah. Liz, hate to say it but I need to get home. I got a meeting with my agent in the morning." Said Serena
"I should go too Liz. Had a great time like always." Said Alex giving her a hug.
"I'm going home too. It was good to see you again Liz. Max, remember dinner at mom and dad's on Sunday." Said Isabel
"I won't. See you then."

Max hugged his sister and Isabel and Liz's friends left leaving Max and Liz alone.

"Tonight was fun." Said Max
"Yeah it was."
"Liz, I thought about something. What are you going to tell the reporters about us at the premiere?"
"What's to tell? You are my friend and that's it."
"They are going to be digging."
"I know. But I don't want to go to this thing alone."
"Ok. Oh do you remember that girl I told you about?"
"The one that is pregnant with possibly Zan's baby?"
"Yeah. Her name is Ava. She wants to go after him."
"That is good."
"Liz, is something bothering you?"
"No."
"Come on. I know we have only known each other a little over a month. But I think I know you well enough to tell something is bothering you."
"Max, it's nothing."
"I won't push it. But I want you to know that you can tell me anything."

*I am not sure about that. How would you react to know that I am already falling in love with you? That I think I want to give you my virginity?* Liz thought

"Max, you are sweet. But I am not good at opening up to people."
"Did something happen to you?"
"What do you mean?"
"You are so closed off about things."
"Max, I just like to keep personal stuff to myself. I have been also thinking about some of the people I worked with in the past that have gone down hill. Made bad choices. That I could have been one of them."
"Liz, but you didn't. There are lots of what ifs out there. So you can't ask yourself these things."
"Thanks Max."
"Anything to help you."
"Will you answer a personal question?"
"Sure."
"Uh well you have had girlfriends right?"
"Yes."
"Did you ever have sex with any of them?"
"Liz, why are you asking?"
"I just am wondering."
"No Liz, I haven't. It's not like I hadn't thought about it. But I want my first time to be with the right woman. If that woman had been with someone else it wouldn't bother me. We all make choices when it comes to sex."
"Right."
"You sure nothing is bothering you?"
"Yeah."

Max didn't believe her but wasn't going to push it either. With her questions to him and the fact she refuses to do a sex type scene it made him wonder if she might like himself be a virgin.

"Will you be OK if I go home?" Asked Max
"Yeah. I am a big girl and been living on my own since I was eighteen."
"OK, remember I am across the hall if you need anything."
"I will."

Max wrapped Liz in a hug and then left. Liz sat down on the couch and wondered what she was going to do about her growing feelings for Max.

Wow everyone was surprised by the way the show ended. But everyone knew Liz didn't do sex scenes. So Max and Liz are virgins and both have feelings for each other. Can't wait to find out what will happen next for Max and Liz.
