Summary: Rhiannon Deluca’s only goal was to reach eighteen so she could be free of her Father for good, but as that birthday gets closer she’s unsure if she’ll make it that long. Secrets are being unveiled left and right and something is pulling her towards a place unknown and a person she’s been dreaming of for as long as she can remember. Main focus on the Dupes and their life in New York.

A/n: The visit to Roswell, and attempt to kill Max never happened. The dupes know about the other pod squad but have never seen or attempted contact them as the story begins. Connections exist between the two groups that will be unveiled, as well as more about their past lives.

Chapter 1

Turning her head to the left as the darkness receded illumining the all too familiar scene she realizes she is dreaming this once more. She was there again, the other her clad in a red rain slicker with red shoes, and curly blonde locks spilling down her back. Her emerald greens were full of tears as she reached out and something in her ached as she tried to move forward towards the girl only to find her self snatched back in to the darkness.

Sitting up she gasped as the last of the dream shattered around her , the sunlight flooding through the grimy windows warming something in her that chilled with the return of the dream. Pushing the covers away She moved her legs over the side of the bed shaking her head at the black satin pajamas she’d gotten as a gift last Christmas. Running a hand through her hair she stood knowing sleeping was no longer an option. She never could settle back in after she dreamed of her, too many questions roaming around her brand for rest.

Wandering in to the kitchen she knew the others would still be asleep. It was another night spent at their crib in an attempt to avoid her asshole of a Father. He’d been on a drinking binge, and the beatings were always worse and more frequent then. Three more months till I’m eighteen she told herself moving to put on a pot of coffee.

For as long as she could remember that birthday had been her magical mile marker. IF she could just remain alive until then she’d be free of John De Luca. Groaning at the stiff muscles that were almost healed protested she pulled out the filter from the cabinet above her head and began to make her morning wake up call. She knew they could heal her with their powers but she didn’t’ like the side effects that came with it. There were always flashes, and there was plenty in her life she didn’t’ want any one to see… ever.

“Yosue had one of those dreams again didn’t you?” The familiar voice asked startling her as she turned around to take in a Rath clad in a pair of boxers and a white wife beater. “God he was so hot, and so Lonnie’s,” she thought reminding herself to keep her eyes from wandering.

“Yeah… what are you doing up any way?” She asked moving to the fridge to pull out some eggs and bacon.

“ I heard ya,” He said tapping his ear as she nodded.
Oh yes, the enhanced senses that came along with being half alien. How she loathed it sometimes.

“Well I’m fine now,” she said refusing to look at him as she pulled out a bowl, and a skillet, placing the pan on the stove and adding strips for both of them before putting the rest back and beginning to crack eggs.

“Reni, I just don’t get why ya don’t’ let Lon dream walk yas she could help, figure out why you keep seeing dis girl or if she’s real even,” He said pushing the issue as she continued to beat the eggs.

“ Why do you keep pushing this? I said I could deal with it on my own,” She snapped tired of defending her self from his attacks.


If she did that she’d know her secret and she couldn’t have that. Lonnie and Rath had been off and on for as long as she could remember, and she knew when first developed a crush on him at thirteen it’d been a bad idea. Now it was even worse , the innocent crush had turned in to so much more.

“Cause I hate seeing Ya like Dis we all do,” he said as she continued to ignore him prepping the pan with butter for the eggs before flipping the bacon.

“I’m Fine,” she said knowing he was boring a hole in the back of her head with his eyes.

She’d gotten used to his temper tantrums and anger over the years and now she could ignore him most of the time.

“ I hate dat damn word,” he hissed knowing fine never really meant she was okay.

“Well it hates you too,” She hissed as he scowled taking a seat at the table. Knowing she’d won this round for now.

Ava had stumbled across Reni when she was about eight. They’d always been in and out of the system here and sometimes on the street, but they always managed to stay in touch and stick together. Reni had been someone Ava met in school, and they’d bonded, she’d come from a broken home too, and sometimes she got hit. Being the only human they hung with she’d become like the baby of the crew. Leaning back in the chair as she continued to cook he found himself admiring the way the silk top caressed her chest. She’ d grown up well over the years, long pale legs that could wrap around a man’s waist, nice firm breasts, and long blonde hair that begged to be touched.

“Here,” She said turning off the stove a she dished up the eggs and bacon sliding a plate in front of him before moving to the cabinet to hand him Tabasco.

“Tanks,” He said as she nodded dishing herself a small helping before moving to sit across from him.

“Ya need mo then that Reni ya aint been eating enough,” he said ignoring her scowl.

She’d lost weight the past few months, the old man had gotten worse and she’ d been walking around the place on egg shells. He ached to blast the bastard to kingdom come, but she’ never let any of them touch him. Said it was like jail, she’d do her time, and when she turned eighteen she’d be free.

“ Come on Rath give her a break,” A tired voice said making him growl. Lonnie.

Looking up at Lonnie she flashed a grateful smile before continuing to push the food around on her plate.

“You all right dis morning Reni you look tired,” She said as she nodded.

“I’m fine,” She mumbled forcing the eggs in her mouth and down her throat as she swallowed.

Shaking his head he let it drop and Reni hurried through breakfast before heading to the shower to get ready for school. The others never bothered going but if she had their powers she guessed she wouldn’t bother to go to school either. They always offered to fake documents, but Reni liked school, it was somewhere to be and something to do to keep her sane. Grabbing her Fantasy Body wash, and Lotion she opted to use the ocean spray shampoo she shared with Ava before turning on the running water and getting just the right temperature. Lifting the knob she slipped into the tub and beneath the spray as she washed away the grime.

Soaping up her hair she massaged my scalp before rinsing it out, and putting in a conditioner. She always took special care with her hair knowing next to her eyes it was one of her best feature. Scrubbing her body as the conditioner did its thing she rinsed off rinsing her hair and washing out the conditioner before turning off the water. Wrapping her body in a fluffy royal blue towel she turbaned her hair before drying of her body and applying Fantasy lotion before unwinding the turban to brush and blow dry the hair that now reached her mid back.

Studying her face in the mirror she wrinkled her nose as she tilted her head to the left and the right. Time for something different. Moving back towards her room she paused at the site of Lonnie in the kitchen moving to talk to her until she realized she was arguing with Rath once again.

“God do you ever listen to me or am I just a piece of ass.”


“Lonni I never said that, I let you do whatever you want, why you bugging?” He snapped as they caught her movement and stopped.

“What’s going on Reni:?” Lonnie asked as she shrugged.

“Just wondering if you’d make my hair red,” She said as Rath moaned. He loved her hair now, but he’d always been a sucker for a red head.

“Sure, I’ll do it now,” She said abandoning the conversation she’d been having earlier to follow her into her room.

Slipping on a pair of black underwear, she turned her back to Lonnie as she put on a bra before letting the towel drop as she moved to the closet that held half her wardrobe. It was like she lived a double life sometimes.

“What shade of red?”

“Umm Auburn,” She said as Lonnie nodded touching her head as a subtle warmth spread over her scalp.

“Done,” She said admiring her work as she stepped away and she moved over to the mirror. Not only had she colored it, but added a nice bouncy curl.

“Man thanks Lon,” She said smiling as the other girl nodded.

“Now I’m going to finish my conversation with Rath,” She said shaking her head as a sad look entered her browns.

Maybe this was the beginning of the end for them. Sick how that thought made her happy. Moving back to her closet she pulled our a pair of dark denim’s she cuffed at the bottom adding a chunky pair of black mules, and a form fitting white t-shirt she knew she’d pair with the leather jacket they had gotten for her. If it wasn’t’ for them she would have starved or frozen to death a long time ago.

Making her way into the kitchen she poured a quick glass of juice grabbing her traveling mug and freezing as the vision hit and the glass dropped to the floor.

Chapter 2 Reni

Pain, hurt, shock, her heart was breaking. He was leaving her walking away like everything had meant nothing. She couldn't take the push and pull any more. They were together, they were apart, they were arguing, then they were all over each other, it was all consuming. Watching her huddle on the bed with her knees pulled up to her chest she felt her heartbleed.


"Don't cry," she whispered reaching out to comfort the tiny blonde, knowing it was just a vision and there was nothing she could do.

There was something endearing about her , the tiny differences she had , sure they were seemingly identical, but this girl was all bright colors ,and sunshine. Like her life had been better than Reni's. Feeling the hopelessness wash over her she reached out once more knowing the girl had felt something when she looked up and their eyes seemed to lock before everything dissolved.

"Reni!"

Hearing the panicked voices she blinked shocked to discover her head as in Lonnie's lap as Rath leaned over her gently tapping her cheeks.

"What the fuck was dat!" he yelled as she sucked in air completely disorientated as the world continued to spin making her slightly nauseous.

"Chill out! Cant you see she's needs a minute!" Lonnie snapped effectively silencing him as the footsteps signaled the others had arrived.

Hearing the yelling and feeling the others distress Ava, and Zan had woken and gathered around her in the kitchen.

"Reni! What happened? Are youse okay?" Ava asked instantly by her side.

"It was her again, but this time I wasn't sleeping...and I know she saw me too," She whispered as they all exchanged looks over her head. This had been going on for years, now with more frequency, it was time they got to the bottom of it.

"Reni this has got to stop," Zan said gently crouching down beside her.

She knew him he wasn't gentle, he just thought she was going to be irrational about whatever it was he was going to say next. Chances were he would be right. She'd be lying if she said they always saw eye to eye.

" Ya needs to let us look in ya head," He said as she looked away breaking their eye contact

"NO!" She hissed moving to sit up as they backed off to give her space.

"Why NOT!"

"Cause I don't' want no one roaming around in my head!" She snapped as his jaw clenched.

"You may be King Zan, but you're not my king," She said scrambling to her feet as she grabbed her satchel from beside the couch.

" I have to go to school," She said rushing off as they shook their heads.


"Something aint right der," Rath growled as they all nodded.

"Why wont' she let me in her mind?" Lonnie asked as they all shrugged and Ava looked down, she had an idea, but she'd never betray her friend by saying it out loud.

Reni meant a lot to her, even more than Lonnie, probably more than she should period seeing as how she was just a human. But she was the only person in her life that loved her just because. Zan was almost obligated too, and the others as well being as how they were all in this world together, Reni... she simply did.

"Ava..." Zan began turning to look at her.

" I know how youse feel about her maybe ya can talk to her or sometin," He suggested as she nodded.

"After work," She said sighing before turning to head back to her room.

Maria

Curling up on her bed she sobbed looking at the window that Michael had just vacated earlier. The push and pull was going to break something inside of her it continued. She always felt like something was missing, and she thought he could fill the void, but the more time that passed the more she realized she'd been fooling herself. Sensing she wasn't alone she quieted glancing around until she pinpointed the presence, and for a moment in time she was complete.

Wondering about it she paused. She'd had moments like this from time to time over the years , emotions and thoughts, dreams she knew didn't' belong to her. Reaching for her notebook she kept by the side of the bed she hurriedly wrote down everything about the experience. Maybe all this would come to an end soon.

Feeling like she was on auto pilot as she made her way through her classes grateful when the final bell rang, and she headed to work at Sugar and Tea a local coffee shop.

"I love the hair!" Landon said making her smile as she dumped her satchel under the counter and he made her twirl.

He could always coax a smile from her no matter what. They'd met a few years back when she first started working and next to the others he was her only friend. To say she didn’t’ trust easily was a gross understatement. And even Landon she kept at a certain distance.

"Thanks Landon," She said hugging him before moving away.

"How's it looking tonight?" She asked as he rolled his eyes leaning

"Pretty slow for the moment, but creepy guy is back again," he said gesturing to the middle aged man who'd become a regular as of late.

There was something about him that gave her the creeps, though she couldn't place what it was exactly that unnerved her. He just didn't fit in with the group that came in here and he sat with the same cup of coffee for hours on end. Sometimes she almost swore he was watching her... but what would anyone want with her? She kept a low profile most times, and he sure as hell wasn't a social worker. Chalking her suspicion up to an over active imagination she looked up to great the next customer that walked through the door.

Moving back to the counter as the rush died down she made her self a cup of tea before coming to stand beside Landon.

"Lover boy's here,” He announced making her raise an eyebrow as he nodded toward the back booth where Rath was seated. She wished he were her lover boy. From the sound she’ d heard Lonnie making over the years he was pretty damn good at it

"Come on Lan, he is so not interested in me," She said moving to tidy up the machines as he trailed her.

"Come on, I see how his eyes follow your every move, you're hot girl why wouldn't he want a little taste?" He teased as she rolled her eyes.

"One word Lonnie," She said silencing him as he pouted slightly. If Landon didn't like woman so much she'd swear her was gay, right now she had him labeled as sensitive.

"Okay I'll stop ... but I'm doing so under protest," he said pointedly moving to take an order from the customer who had just sat at the counter.

"Yo can I get a little service!" Rath said as Landon smirked, jumping when she pinched his side playfully before making her way to Rath.

"What can I get you sir?" She teased trying to keep things light as she approached with her pen and pad ready.

"Ya can take ya break now," he said as she sighed sliding in beside him. It was so much easier to give in to his demands than to try and fight.

There was something about him that made her follow his commands. A certain tone that let her know if she didn't do what he'd said he'd make her do it. It should piss her off, but the truth was it turned her on. It was the way she’d imagined he’d sound in the bedroom, all low toned and rough as he told her exactly what he wanted her to do. Anger was just the disguise she used to mask her desire.

"Way to ask nicely," She said snippily as he grinned. She always gave back what he dished out.

"Ya have ne more problems with the visions?" he asked leaning in to whisper in her ear so no one else could hear what they were talking about.

"N- no," She whispered licking her suddenly dry lips as his warm breath
caressed her ear as her nipples hardened.

Narrowing his eyes Rath looked down at her swearing he smelled arousal? That couldn't' be right, he must just be hard up. In all the time he'd known her she'd never had a man. He'd think she was passionless except for her occasional make out sessions with Ava. Something Zan allowed purely because it turned him on, and they all loved her like she was their own. She was wounded and they tried to heal her any way we could to prevent her from breaking completely. She needed the love and affection and Ava was more than willing to give it to her. He wouldn't mind giving it to her personally except for Lonnie. She didn't' mind if he messed around with other chics, but any emotional involvement was out, and he knew Reni was the kind of girl you could loose your self in.

“ We’s jus worried about you Reni,” He said as she bit her lower lip nodding. She was too close, the heart emanating from his body was seeping in to her own as she grew moist. Only he had ever had this effect on her. No other man would do, if it wasn’t’ for Ava and her self love tactics she’d e insane by now.

“ I know,” She whispered shifting in her seat as he ran a hand down her back in what was meant to be a soothing gesture. Biting back a moan she looked up at the clock.

”Gotta get back to work before the boss bitches,” She said moving away as he grabbed her wrist.

“We gonna talk about dis one way or anotha,” he said as she nodded knowing he meant every word. He wasn’t’ over manhandling to get his way.

“No this has always been there, even before I knew you, I don’t’ think she’s ever not been there,” She said shaking her head as Ava frowned.
“Always?”

“As far back as I can remember,” She said watching Ava tense before sitting up and cleaning them up and clothing them with a wave of her hand.
“ I think its time we have a meeting,” She said as Reni side rising to follow her. This would be fun.

Not surprised to see them all gathered on the couch out front she sighed as she sank into the chair across from them. She knew they could communicate mentally but to see it in action was nothing short of amazing.

“So what’s dis about?” Rath asked as they all turned to Ava.

“Da girl’s she’s linked to her or something I saw it in a flash,” She said as the rook grew silent.

“Iya know we dream walking ya right?” Rath said pinning her with his browns as she bt her bottom lip. He had that tone again.

“She aiint fragile Ava,” he said as she scowled.
“Look I know she’s ya bitch and all, but we gotta keep us safe,” He said as she looked away knowing he was right.
“Just ease up Rath, she’s not Lonnie, ya can’t say whatever you want and expect her to be okay with it,” She said shaking her head as she stalked off leaving him staring after her for a minute.
“Why did he feel like he was missing something? He thought scratching his eyebrow. Course he knew she wasn’t’ Lonnie. She was nothing like her, it was one of the things he liked most About her. Bitches were just confusing sometimes. Shaking his head he headed to the room shocked at his reaction when he saw the tiny girl sprawled out in his bed. “Yeah I’m fine, She said nodding as she turned from her locker to face her.
“Do you want to talk about it?” She asked glancing over to where Michael stood a few feet away.
“No , I’ll be fine,” She said wishing this was about Michael Guerin. Last night the presences she’d felt all her life had gained a face, one identical to her own. Normally she’d think nothing of it, but it was like a direct link had been opened and the next thing she knew she was standing face to face with an edgier red head version of herself. Now as far as she knew only aliens could dream walk.
“Well, you know I’m always here,” She said smiling at her before they moved to head to their home room. Why would an alien want to get in to her head? And how did she know it wasn’t’ some nightmare. The last thing she wanted to do was set of a false alarm.

“She saw her! How is that possible!” Lonnie asked after as she yanked them both from the dream panicking.
“ You sure she saw you?” Zan asked as she nodded.
“Yeah , well maybe not me but Reni for sure, she looked right at her.” She hissed.
“Did she say anything?” Ava asked as Rath popped his knuckles scowling.
“Ya tink I waited around I got outta der,” She said snarling as Ava turned to look at Zan.
“Was she one of us?” Rath asked lowly, they knew there was four more out there somewhere.
“No, she was definitely human.” She said shaking her head as they relaxed slightly. She’d probably just think she’d had some whacked out dream. Humans usally found a way to explain the odd things that happened in their lives.
“Why are ya connected to this broad?” Rath asked as Reni shook her head trying to grip a distant memory.
The girl in that red slicker, and red shoes with the Kermit ….. a Dalmatian. It was so close she could taste it, but her mine wouldn’t let her retrieve the entire memory.
“ I think, I think I knew her once,” She whispered.
“I’d say, she looks exactly like ya!” Lonnie said as they all turned to look at her.
“Is it possible you have a sista?” Zan asked as she shook her head shrugging.
“ I cant remember much of anything before my life here in New York,” She whispered refusing to met their eyes. She knew sometimes when a memory was bad enough you got gaps. If what had happened had been that bad, she didn’t’ want to remember.
“And its not like I can ask my Father.” She said as the others trailed off
“ I want to put up some kind of block,” Zan said as she clenched her jaw.
“No,” She said flatly as the battle lines were drawn.

“I’m out of here,” She growled turning on her heel to leave as she found herself blocked by Rath’s body. He’d practically moved faster than she could comprehend.

“Okay dis shit stops here,” He said , amber eyes a glow with anger as he dared her to defy him. Tensing she fought against her instinct to stand down.

“NO!” She said going to push past him as the other gasped waiting for the explosion they knew was to come.

“Fuck dis!” he said grabbing her by her waist and lifting her easily as he placed her over his shoulder.

“Ya aint going no where , and youse gonna let us help you!” He hissed ignoring her tiny fists as they rained down on his back.

“You cant’ do this I’m not your bitch!” she hissed angrily continuing to wiggle and squirm as the others looked on amused, but concerned.

“ Where ya gonna go Reni you can’t go back home right now, tink what he did to ya da last time,” Lonnie said attempting to reason with her and getting the bird for her trouble.

“That Little bitch,” she spat shocked. Reni had never reacted like this to anything. She was the calm sensible one of the group, cooling hot heads and making them rethink bad ideas. To see her hissing, spitting kicking bundle was … nothing short of astonishing.

“ You gonna act like a brat! Then I’m gonna treat ya like one,” Rath snapped giving her ass a quick slap as she squealed.

“Now quit ya bitching or der’s plenty more where that came from ,” he said swearing when she scrapped her nails down his back.

If she was trying to anger him she should stop because she was doing the exact opposite. Having her lithe body squirming over him and her rear just below his hand was a temptation, and he was sick for thinking that way and being hard when she was doing everything in her power to get away from him. Course it was no secret he liked it rough. Like he’d ever had a choice with Lonnie as his girl.

“Stop it Reni!” he said swearing when she raked him again. If he didn’t’ stop this now he was going to carry her to his room, and rip her clothes off. Something about her was making the alien side in him rise, and what “Rath” Wanted Rath got. It was the reason he seemed like he had so little self control sometimes.

“Maybe you just need to cool off,” He growled carrying her towards his room with the others behind him .

“Rath what are you doing?” Ava asked concerned as Zan smirked. HE knew exactly what he had in mind.

Pulling her from his shoulder as he entered the bathroom he turned on the showerhead with his powers placing her in the tub as the cold water poured down on her making her scream as he licked his lips. Her hair was plastered to her face, and the white shirt was partially see through as it hugged her curves. Forcing himself to focus as he kept her pinned down he moved to sit on the side of the tub.

“You calm now?” he asked as she slumped back nodding.

“We didn’t’ want it to come to t his Reni, but ya needs to let us help ya,” Zan said coming to sit on the opposite side of Rath as she narrowed her eyes.

“ I don’t’ want a barrier in my head! You think maybe this is something that’s been a long time coming!” She snapped as her greens darkened with anger.

“ I’ve been seeing this girl my whole life and when I actually make a real connection you want me to shut it off!” She growled as they looked at each other.

“What if we just teach ya control?” Ava offered as Lonni snorted.

“She’s a human not an alien , how we gonna teach her anything about mind tricks?”

“No, she’s right , some humans have stronger defenses then others, I think we can show her how to focus in,” Zan said as Ava turned to Lonnie haughtily.

“We just don’t kno what dis connection is Reni, we’d be stupid to assume wes da only aliens on dis planet,” Lonnie said as she sighed.

“ I know, I understand that, but this isn’t’a foreign presence its familiar and comforting,” She said trailing off as she shook her head.

“Well now dat evertings all figured out let’s get ya ass out of this tub,” Rath said making her roll her eyes before she locked eyes with him and sucked in a deep breath. Was he checking her out? Licking her lips as her nipples hardened she looked down ashamed. God , what was wrong with her Lonnie was standing less than a foot away. Disgusted at herself she shook her head keeping her eyes lowered.

“Come on Reni, I’ll dry you,” Rath said moving his hand over her body as he dried her clothes and running his hand up her back and in to her hair as he blow dried her hair gently massaging as the warmth chased away the chill that had been setting in.

“Thanks,” She whispered once she was dry and he plucked her out of the tub moving them back into the living room before setting her back on her feet.

“Ya know you’re going to have to stop treating me like a doll,” She said dryly as he smirked.

“So what now?” She asked turning to look at them.

“ I think that’s enough for now, I think we needs to have a little fun now,” Zan said as they grinned.

“Roof top?” She asked hopefully as he nodded. Some time in their preteens they’d started taking alcohol up to the roof and partying through the night. She’ had some interesting conversations with each of them while inebriated.

“Yeah roof top, Rath come wit me to get da shit,” Zan said as the girls all giggled.

“Let’s get ready!” They said as she smiled half-heartedly. It was different with them, they had someone to dress up for, and she was always the fifth wheel. Studying her Lonnie toyed with telling her about the dreams she’d been having. Maybe after a few drinks.


“ What are we thinking ladies?” Lonnie asked as they dug through the closet, and dresser.

“Skirts? Pants?” She asked as the other girls exchanged a look and laughed.

“Skirts,” They all said in unison. Turning on “Mest” with her powers they all dug through clothes forgetting about their issues for a while.

“ What about this?” Lonnie asked holding up a black tune top mini dress that left nothing to the imagination.

“Its needs something,” She said manipulating the fabric to create a keyhole in the front.

“And this,” Ava said handed her a studded belt that would hang low on her hips.

“That’s hot Lon,” Reni said nodding her approval as Lonnie smiled and went to pick out her shoes.

“ What about dis?” Ava asked holding up the tiny red mink skirt with a white shirt that red Sweet and Spicy thanks to her powers.

“Epic, what shoes?” Lonnie asked deciding on a pair of heels with her own.

“These red boots,” She said holding up a pair of red lace ups that made her about three inches taller.
“Let’s give you a bad girl make over,” Lonnie said grinning when Reni shook her head no.

“Come on Ren, it’ll be fun,” Ava said as she paused before shrugging. Whats' the worst they could do?

Suddenly nervous when the girls exchanged a look and a smirk she almost retracted her agreement. She knew that look, and it never got them into anything but trouble.

“We’ve been waiting for dis fo a long time now,” Lonnie said as Ava nodded her head in agreement and they headed to the closet.

“What bout dis?” Ava asked holding up a black and white plaid shirt with suspenders as Lonnie wrinkled her nose.

Too long, what else youse got?” She asked as Reni’s jaw dropped. Too long? It would barley reach mid thigh!

“ Dis?” She asked holding up a micro red plaid skirt with Four large safety pins crisscrossing each other in the front pleats.

“Now youse talking,” She said grinning as she felt her stomach clench. She’d be fine it was Rath, and Zan. They would never even notice.

“What about a top?” Ava asked as Lonnie grinned.

“ I tink I knows just da thing, I’’ll bes right back,’ She said heading into her room before returning with the smallest red tank top

She had ever seen in her entire life. Cut low at the bodice, and stopping mid waist it was pretty much a scrap of red cloth.

Moving up to the roof they grinned at the set up. Liquor lined a table, jack Daniels, Sky Vodka, and the captain. Unlike humans it didn’t’ take the dupes much to get drunk so a buzz was easy to achieve and maintain. Reni wasn’t much of a drinker per say, but after everything that had happened she felt entitled to get a little smashed. The boys had actually changed, Zan in a pair of dark denims and a gray sleeveless shirt with Rath in a pair of skin tight jeans and a black button up that had Reni licking her lips before she could stop herself. The man practically oozed sexuality.

“Damn Reni!” Rath said as Zan nodded his agreement and she flushed.

“You been hiding that where all these years?” he asked as the girls beamed at their job well done.


“Thanks,” She said smiling full out. It felt good to be the center of attention just for a little while. Making her way over to the table when

Ava moved to Zan and Lonnie moved to Rath she ignored the girls squeals and giggles and poured herself a rum and coke.

“Its me and you tonight Captain,” She said feeling like a fifth wheel for the millionth time.

Pulling Lonnie to him he saw her smirk at the hard on he had pressed against her. If only she had been the one to cause it. Smiling when Zan nodded his head to gesture her over Reni swayed to the beat giggling when he pulled her against him roughly molding her body to his as Ava leant in to tease her lush lips with nibbles and pecks. Leaning her head back in to him she moved freely rocking her hips as she relaxed.

“ I think the shoes work,” She said teasing Ava in to laughter as she shook her head.

“Hey Ava, ya gots to share tonight!” Lonnie yelled making him raise his eyebrow.

What was she up to now? The two of them had always gotten along fine, but this was different. Judging from his wide eyes , Rath thought the same thing. Giggling as he Zan unwrapped his arms from her waist as backed away Ava shook her head.

“The shoes,” She said smirking as Reni shrugged, and headed over to the other couple.

Hearing the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ come blaring out of the speakers she couldn’t help but sashay here way up to Lonnie wrapping her arms around her neck as she swayed with her mouthing the words. Dancing and drinking she ended up finding herself pressed between Rath and Lonnie, a dream and a nightmare at the same time. Enjoying the feel of his firm body pressed against hers’ she bit her lip as his erection pressed into her back.

“Bathroom break?” Lonnie suggested as the song came to and end and she nodded as they waved Ava over. It was time to make her move.

“Kay so dish cause I knows you didn’t’ just call us in here to really goes to da bathroom,” Ava said as Lonnie smirk. She had never been one for all that girly crap. SO her calling a bathroom pow wow was suspicious to say the least

“So I been having des dreams lately, and I needs to tell ya bout them,” She said turning to the girls who had leaned in and given her their full attention.

“I uh been dreaming, and I know dat destiny shit aint right, I tink me and Rath need to split,” She said as Reni gasped.

Just when she thought she was getting close to Lonnie she opened up and her pain was her joy. Flashing Ava a look she took a deep breath as She reassured her with her serene blues.

“Whats dis all about Lon?”

“Well ya know me and him been having probs lately always fighting and shit and I realize destiny might not really be all I ts cracked up to be I mean if we didn’t “Know” we were supposed to be togetha we woulda been done a long time ago and I been getting dis feeling lately ders someone else out da for me, and der’s someone right here fo Rath,” She said as the girls shook their head confused. Not following her train of thought.

”What youse talking bout?” Ava asked as she sighed.

“Come here,” She said to Reni pulling her in closer before moving her lips over the bee stung pout she was sure many had fantasized about. Shocked by her move, she had not time to respond when her world exploded with visions of her and Rath.

“I tink its best if we keep it from Rath for a bit, let me make a clean break and we can go from der, cause ota wise he’d just fight it,” Lonnie said breaking the silence that had fallen. They all knew how stubborn that boy could be just because. It was like he had to do the exact opposite of what you asked him.

“You want him right? I seen youse watching him, and it never bothered me, I used to think it was cause you was hot and I wanted a lil sometin sometin to go down between the three of us, but now Ise aint so sure,” She said shaking her head as she studied the smaller woman leaning against the opposite wall facing her.

“I, uh,” She said clearing her throat as her face flushed. What the hell did you say to that? Yes I’ve wanted your man for years? Smirking at the girls’ innocence she looked her up and down. She’d get the ball rolling herself.

”Tonight we’ll make a woman outta ya,” She said nodding her head decisively before heading out of the bathroom as Reni’s voice followed her out.

“ I think we both know what it meant,” She said as they looked at each other once more before hurrying after the brunette walking back to the roof with a sense of purpose.

Looking up as the two made their way over to where Reni was hiding at the alcohol table she felt her heart beat accelerate. Was this really happening to her?
