Here's alittle background before Chapter 1......

Antarian Backstory....

5 ruling parties in the whirlwind galaxy: Antar, Sardonia, Kathara, Sero, and Corrino

Antar:
Leading faction in the V constallation, Antar is home to the Ruling High King, considered by most the center of both technology and political structure amoung the Royal households. Antar decides the fate of her sister planets, if prosperous then so are all Royal households, but if under turmoil no planet is spared from devestation.

Sardonia:
Sister planet to Antar located to her upper left in the V formation, Sardonia is considered the jewel of the whirlwind galaxy, her culture is rich in both Art and religion. Sardonia is home to the granolith, legend has it that all Sardonians are direct decendants of the Granolith itself. The royal house of D'thaime has been it's guardian throughout the centuries, each royal line is blessed with four children (two sets of twins) born a single year apart, the four of pure blood unite to create the four square and with their combined strength offer protection to the chosen High king/queen. Sardonia is a mysterious planet said to be home to the Zennith a mythical creature composed of pure energy, and able to weild unsurpassable power, the temple of Isis erected on the desolate mountain region of Telam Segunda is claimed to be her final resting place. Shrouded in secrets Sardonia is prophesized to be essential to the whirlwind galaxies survival and thus so it is protected above all else.

Kathara is a desert planet, her main resource is fuel, mined and shipped directly from Kathara to all other planetary systems. Though her enviorment is hostile Kathara is a viable wealth in resoursce Ruling Family Loyal to the Republic aswell as allegiance to the house of Zanno's on Antar.

Sero:
Fourth Planet in the whirlwind Galaxy Sero is abundant in both Rich Tropical tempret enviorments aswell as a highly developed Artistic infostructure. Sero is the heart of all innovations from science to art, clearly a well visited planet mostly viewed as a retreat or vaction hotspot. Neutral in most aspects regarding political standpoints Sero does hold strong alliegnce to both Antar and more specifically the Royal house of Zannos. Ruling family of Larem has held a peaceful regin for over a century both ruling with compassion and a strict sense of Morality truely the jewel of the whirlwind Galaxy.

Corrino: Final Planet to make up the Whirlwind galaxy Corrino has been plagued with endless civil rebellion's. It is planet unfortunately desimated by war and poverty, yet still an active member of the Republic Council and effortlessly one of the strongest planets in both armery and strategical techiniques. Corrino was once as lush and plentiful as it's sister planet Sero, but through countless uprising's and greedy monarchies almost all her natural resources have been exploited. Corrino's Royal house of Avantare has had an ongoing fued with the ruling house of Zannos from Antar for nearly two decades and though both appear civil publicly years of deception and betrayal lead to the downfall of an entire galaxy.

Prologue

Meseliko Reservation (1982)....

In the rain drenched early morning hours a lone figure dressed in black walks with a purpose his mind cold and calculating. In his arms lies a bundle which he is sworn to protect. Crossing the muddy expanse he turns before reaching his car, somewhere in the shadows he can sense another like him, he gives a small bow of acknowledgement before stepping into the vehicle and speeding away.

The desert is slowly awakening as the sun begins its journey up from the horizon, while the rest of the world still lays locked in slumber a tired soul prays for the strength to finish his objective. To many years have been invested into this plan and tonight might have proven disasterous. Glancing back at his charges, they are unaware of the trails and tribulations that will pave their life. Languidly he lets his hand pass over each pod, two glow brightly at his touch in acknowledgement, the third is silent, only a withard rememant of a precious life that is now on a journey of her own.

'I am sorry little ones I have failed you once already...but I will not fail again sleep now and know that I will keep a close eye on Princess Melinia I vow it...' he silently makes his decree to his charges. Once satisfied they are safe and secure, he prepares for his departure, easing out of the small cavernous hole he waves a hand over the entrance and seals it tightly. In his mind thoughts race they were not prepared for the early extraction and now he must make the appropriate plans to keep the young one under constant survalience. The crash must of damaged the pod causing her premature hatching and it is uncertain exactly how far along her progression was stunted due to the mishap. The Antarian DNA might not have had a chance to fully bond with the human DNA and if that is the case her assimiliation would be easier, but it is still uncertain how far along the process had gotten. He'd have to discuss this further with Nacem before entrusting the little princess to the human couple. Still weary from the previous nights events the elder Indian made his way back to the reservation his head full of memories of a life long gone, of a home he'd never lay eyes on again. For now all their hopes rested with Project Transcendence and the young royals still peacefully asleep in their pods, "Well little Princess may the gods of our people smile down upon you and forever keep you in the warm graces of their protection..." he raised his arms up towards the heavens, "...Aven tous les kridence Amon Melinia..." he let his prays drift in the wind wishing they'd reach her safe and sound.

Scene shifts to the Outskirts of Roswell, New Mexico....

A young couple anxiously wait by the side of the road as a car skids to a stop a few yards away, nervous they both fidget with the door handles before making their way over to the car. A light mist of rain begins to fall adding to the forebodding of the moment, there is a sense of urgency in the air and words seem rather useless at the moment. Scanning his surroundings quickly for danger the stranger places his charge bundled up securely in the arms of the young woman, sending the couple one final overpowering gaze he turns to leave, over his shoulder he calls out to them with cold determination, " You have been entrusted with a precious gift, but do not be fooled if any harm should befall the child while in your care I will have no problem doing away with either one of you..." He glances back that them his eyes flashing with an earthly glow, "...she is my main priority her safety and well being will be monitored at all time and though you may not see us we will always be watching." Satisfied by the horror still apparent in the human's eyes he continues his departure.

The adoption was set up in a matter of hours and it was clarified that under no circumstances were the De Luca's to ever reveal the truth behind the negotiation. Amy had been beside herself with joy at the prospect of adopting a baby but Denise wasn't so sure he'd had to many reservations regarding the shady way in which it was handled. Now pushing past his own fear he decided to speak up, "Exactly who are you and why all the need for secrecy I mean this is a bit much don't you think, and who says I will agree to constant suprevision of my family..."

Nacedo had sensed the male human's insecurities from the begining but Calan had assured they would suit the bill, yet now he had his doubts, "Who we are is non of your concern and do not fool yourself you have no say in the matter of monitoring but if you chose to cross us we have to no choice but to elimate the problem due you understand?" Nacedo strode over to face the male his entire appearance was alien cold, devoid of emotion only his eyes blazed with hidden fury and power. He watched thrilled at the human's involuntary shudder and the fear that dripped off him, "If you tell anyone of this meeting I will rip you apart myself and be assured I will know." Taking a final glance at the female he let his resolve land silently on both of them, as they noded he smiled and walked away. In his mind he was disgusted by the entire idea of letting the royals be raised by these filthy beast, but his orders were set and the imparitive prevented him from going against them. The humans were nothing more than cattle to be used and then done away with, that was impression atleast but for now he'd bide his time. Calan had assured that when the royals reached maturity they'd be able to impliment the final step in the directive and get off this stinking rock, but could he wait the decade that was still to come trap in this hell hole. Perhaps he'd make his arrangements, prehaps he'd find another way off this planet...Perhaps....

So what do you think...?

Chapter 2...

The Parker's arrival was explosive to say the least, and after ending with the pleasantries and saying goodbye to Maria, Michael decided it was time to make a hasty retreat.

Michael who was also shocked by the meeting takes the outburst as a cue to depart he drags Max out of the Crashdown, who still seems lost in thouhgt and incapable of moving his own two feet. He'd felt the pull to the two new arrivals but surpressed the urge to delve into it deeper, there were simply to many people around, but one look at Max and he knew his friend had not followed that instinct. It seemed to him that the Parker girl must of some how given Max flashes, but of what, Michael thought as he climbed into the jeep.

"Do you think they could be..." when he turned to face Max his words died mid sentence, Max was still dazed and staring intently at the front of the Crashdown. Giving his arms jab with his elbow Michael continued when he was sure Max was paying attention. "...you felt it too right, the pull they are like us..." Michael finished his words laced with anticipation.

After a few moments when Max was still silent Michael elbowed him again, "Maxwell?!"

"What, yeah sorry...um what were you saying Michael?" Max studdard out finally wrenching his thoughts free from the trance that Liz Parker had cast upon him. If what he saw was true then they'd found two more hybrids, but how could that be possible when both Tess and Nacedo had told them only the Royal Four were sent to earth, Max scratched his head this was definately not right.

Aggrivated Michael repeated his previous question while Max started the jeep. "I don't know Michael? I mean it doesn't make sense Nacedo told us we were the only ones sent and now there is definately a pull to the Parker siblings, but I think we should give it some time and see what happens. Maybe we can get Isabel to dreamwalk them and check it out..." Although he was curious he fought the urge to confront them to many things had happened the past year to make a hasty decision like that, unfortunately one look at Michael and he knew he wouldn't have to much time to investigate.

"Please Michael leave it alone atleast for a few days, let's see what we can come up with...OK?" Max pleaded with his friends diminishing sensibility.

"So what we just sit back and wait..." with a disgusted huff Michael turned to face out the window, he watched distractedly as the desert zoomed by. "...Maxwell you felt it the same as I did, they are one of us and I'm going to find out why Nacedo and Tess lied." he bit out as the jeep jerked to a stop infront of his place.

Shaking his head Max realized this was going to be a long battle of wills, since the whole destiny fiasco him and Michael have been butting heads at every cross, "Michael I've made my decision, we wait until Isabel has a chance to check them out and that's final!"

"Oh so his highness has made a decree then ofcourse I have no choice but to follow..." Michael spat out his words dripping with sarcasm. Though in his heart he hated how far the gap between him and Max had grown he couldn't seem to see past his own bitterness to cross the distance. It never ceased to amaze him that while he himself would glory in all of Max's new found responsibilities, Max shied away from them to the point of disregarding them completly and that act infuriated Michael to no end.

"Michael please just give me few days and keep this between us atleast until Isabel has found something out." Max countered and was relieved when Michael's features softened.

"You think that Tess and Nacedo have their own agenda dont you?" Michael asked he'd been leary of both aliens since their arrival they'd been less then forward with information and Tess had even mindwarped them when she'd arrived. When Max nodded it was all the proof Michael needed, "...alright I'll back off for a few days but Maxwell if we felt the pull to the Parker twins so will Tess and Nacedo you can't hide that knowledge."

Walking into the apartment Max was deep in thought, Michael had brought up a valid point, both Tess and Nacedo would feel the pull to them and then what, he mused. Would they just spew some more lies or could they actually pose a threat to the new arrivals, he'd have to play this one carefully. "Well Nacedo wont be a problem he's fortunately out dismanteling the FBI Special Unit, but Tess that's another story altogether."

Michael gave his eyebrow a scratch and stared at his wayward king, "It was weird Maxwell, I felt drawn to them, like I should know them but I couldn't place it...it all felt so..."

"Familiar.." Max finished his thoughts, he'd felt the same pull the same familiarity, "Michael what I saw in those flashes it was to similiar to be a coinicidence..." Max continued when Michael grabbed a seat next to him. "They are definately like us I saw them right after they hatched from their pods, and if I'm not mistaken I saw them at the Mesiliko Reservation with RiverDog...she was so sad Michael, desperately sad..." Max paused a minuete as he rememberd the small childs sorrow so completly utter that it still broke his heart, shaking himself from the feeling he continued. "I think there was three pods originally but one of them was damaged and withered probably from the crash..."

"But that would mean they were with us on the spaceship, why would Nacedo not tell us, I mean it makes no sense and RiverDog?" Michael found himself even more confused with Max's description of the flashes. "This makes no sense Maxwell, something is definately not right here."

**********************

Liz found herself pacing nervously around her new bedroom, she was sitll tingling with energy from her previous encounter. Her mom had been fussing over her trying to force some kind of explaination out of her but thankfully Alex difused the situation by refocusing her attention from Liz to the horrid state of his new room. Silently Liz thanked him for the inkling of an oppurtunity for an escape, and she took it retreating to her balcony where thoughts of Max bombarded her. It was absurd that she continue to obsess like this over a guy she'd only met for a brief second and yet she couldn't deny the pull to him, it was primal, innate. She'd been so lost in thought that she hadn't noticed Alex's presence unitl he spoke.

"Hey Liz what's going on with you?" he asked worried by her uncharacteristic panic, even though if truth be told he was still bubbling with the same nervous energy.

"Alex..." Liz squeeled cursing herself for not sensing him sooner, "...nothing's going on, why do you ask?"

Alex plopped down on Liz's bed he had a feeling this was going to be a long night. "Well I suppose the obvious is that weird feeling today in the restaurant, you felt it too right?" sensing that his sister wouldn't divulge to much information without gentle prodding.

Taking a spot next to him on the bed, she tried to put her thoughts into words, "It felt familiar, like I should know who they are but it was fleeting like a dream I can't quiet catch..."

Alex nodded he'd felt the same odd recognition, and though it thrilled him it also scared him at the same time. They'd barely been here in Roswell for twenty four hours and already they were having strange alien incidents. "Do you think they could be the ones we're looking for?", it was a loaded question but still it was one they both were silently musing over.

Liz met his gaze as the question dangled in the air, she was almost afraid to answer it, "I'm not sure Alex, but I think it is worth checking into, I mean it can't be just a coincidence that we both felt the same pull right?"

"Right..." he agreed.

"Kids maybe you two should get ready for bed you've got a big day tomorrow." their mother's voice called out from downstairs.

The two siblings looked at each other and shrugged, if today was any indication of what was to come they were in for a very eventful day and god help them both. Tomorrow should prove to be very interesting considering it was their first day at a new school where they could run into their estranged hybrid family members.

"G'night" they said in unison, before Alex trampsed out leaving Liz alone in her empty room with a mind full of images of a tall dark mystery man...Max.

**************************

Morning arrived entirely to quick and Liz found herself if possible even more anxious, her restless night only seemed to intensifie her forebodding and now she was running late aswell. "Perfect..." she snickered under her breath as she stumbled over to the bathroom. A few minutes later she emerged dressed in a pair of low riding jeans and a skin tight sweater top. When she glanced at herself in the mirror she wasn't quiet feeling the green hue of the top and with a wave of her hand she changed the color to a pale pink that accentuated her chocolate treces and dark eyes. Satisfied with her appearance she bounded down the steps to the kitchen, Alex was already up and scarfing down some concoction which she could only assume consisted of some type of beef biproduct and eggs. Scanning the countertop her eyes landed on the fresh muffin basket, picking her favorite orange poppy seed muffin and a bottle of tabascoo she headed out.

Not surprised by her silence, Alex stuffed the last few morsels of food in his mouth and chugged the remaining juice before grabbing his bag and heading out. He found Liz already at the car leaning casually and munching on her spicy drenched muffin. "What no Goodmoring?" Alex teased while cocking an eyebrow at his sister, when she only gave a grunt in reply, he knew she was definately in a foul mood this morning.

"Rough night, you look like hell sis..." he remarked taking notice of the dark circles under her eyes and the slightly dishelved appearance of her hair, his sister was usually a perfectionist and catching her on an off day was a rare sight.

In no mood for his games Liz flicked him off before plopping down in the passenger seat, "Ooh now I'm hurt Liz, and here I was only looking out for my dear little sis..." When he noticed that she still remained silent Alex decided to drop further discussion and both siblings rode quietly to school. Once they reached the parking lot though the odd tugging sensation jerked them out of their stuppor, when there eyes met both were aware that the other felt the same pull.

Alex noticed Liz hesistate and decided to make the first move, "Come on we might aswell get this over with right?" with a shrug they both strode over to the main entrance, West Roswell High was in for a big surprise as the alien population just doubled within the course of 24 hours. Meeting the Principle and the school guidance counselor went off without a hitch and both siblings found themselves waiting in the desolate halls for some sort of student commitee person, that was supposed to take them around and tour the school.

"Well this is fun, where do you think they are?" Liz snickered leaning calmly against the lockers, her cold demenor was merely a smoke screen, and Alex smirked at his sister. Liz had perfected her rough edge exterior from an early age, the part seemed to come naturally to her, but he knew better. Underneath the sarcasm and the brooding, she was incredibly kind and innocent, yet the role served it's purpose keeping everyone at arms length another rule they'd learned at an early age. And while he found it easier to play the class clown or witty computer geek to keep people at bay, Liz went the oppisite route isolating herself completly. Friendships and bonds were a distraction they could not afford, and unfortunately for them it was what they craved full heartedly.

"You know if you keep brooding like that your going to be an old hag before your 20..." he purposely goated her earning him a slap on the back of the head. Just then a silky voice interupted his good natured teasing, and there standing before him was the most intoxicatingly beautiful blonde he'd ever laid eyes on. She smiled warmly at him and Alex found himself ensnared in the hazel green depths of her eyes. He was so complelty immersed in her that he didn't even realize she had spoken until Liz jabbed him in the ribs, releasing him from the trance this siren had woven upon him.

Liz had felt the familiar pull to her energy before the blonde had announced her presence and found herself curiously wary of the girl, yet when she glanced at her brother she became aware of his spaced out expression. 'What is it with these people,' she thought off-handedly first the dark haired boy at the restaurant and now her brother had fallen under the blondes spell.

"Hey I'm Liz and this is my brother Alex." she introduced cooly before taking her previous position against the wall, staring intently at the blonde.

Isabel smiled hiding her own discomfort at the introduction, last night Max had filled her in on the new Parker Twins, and their probable otherworldly status, but she wasn't really prepared for the intensity of the moment. As she strode down the hall she was immidiately slammed with a sense of deja vou when she neared the pair, and finally understood what Max was griping about. The girl and boy gave off an overall appearance of cool collected normalcy but when she took the time to really study them it was clear they were was nothing collected about them. The girl tried to hide behind the same stone wall that Michael had patented which amused Isabel, and the boy found shelter in witty banter yet when she opened herself up alittle to graze their emotions all she felt was overwhelming fear and lonliness. Isabel immidiately closed off her connection and found herself staring at the boy. At first glance he wasn't extrodinarily good looking, but when her eyes landed on the aquamarine shards of his eyes she felt a shiver run down her spine. They seemed to reflect the light with a luminescent glow that was too brilliant to be normal, and in their depths Isabel found herself lost in memories of a life long gone.

"Hey I'm Isabel, and your official tour guide here at West Roswell." shaking herself from her thoughts Isabel stared patiently giggling when after a few minutes of silence Liz jabbed him in the ribs breaking his trance and causing a lovely shade of red to paint his cheeks.

"Oh..um..hey..." Alex studdard as he reached out to grab her hand, they both felt an electrical shock run threw them as their hands touched. Their eyes collided as they each felt drawn to other, but hastily they broke apart. The intensity of the scene was not lost on Liz who threw her brother a worried glance, only to find him staring at the blonde like a gawking fool.

~What's up Sander are you and little miss sunshine going to stand around all day making goggly eyes at each other or are we actually going to get to class...~

Not missing his sisters subtle attempts at saracasm he glared at her before answering.

~What's wrong Lex, I didn't see you having a problem staring at Max like he was the last meal and you were starving...~

Obviously not appreciating her brother's description Liz gave him the evil eye and stormed off in a huff.

"Is she okay?" Isabel asked confused by Liz's sudden change in attitude, she hadn't been privy to the siblings silent tyraid and had no idea of what had transpired.

"Yeah she's alright, JUST PMSing is all..." Alex answered his voice a few decible to loud assuring that Liz had heard him. He gave a satisfied chuckle when she froze mid-stride and silently assailed him with every curse she could think of. Isabel realizing that whatever happened had gone right over head just shrugged and chalked it up to a twin thing.

"Well let's get started shall we?" Isabel motioned in the direction that Liz had just stormed off in and they both walked over to her.

The rest of the day had gone surprisingly well, both Liz and Alex found they shared a couple of classes together, and even more disturbing they seem to share almost every class with one of the enigmatic strangers that seemed to draw them. Alex reveled in the excess attention Isabel seemed to placing on them but Liz was drained, it was beyond her how anyone could be that nice and curious, something was definately up with that girl. Yet despite her best efforts she couldn't bring herself to dislike the girl, truth be told she found herself warming up to her incredibly fast which was a new sensation to the emotionally guarded Parker twin. 'God that girl can talk' Liz chided silently, remembering how Isabel had droaned on and on about West Roswell's social standings and class divisions, Liz barely had a moments peace all day and it was starting to take it's toll. Luckily she only had one class left AP Bio, and she was sure she'd drop from exhausition in the middle of the hall.

"Hi I'm Liz Parker I just moved here..." Liz handed Mr. Seligman the schedule and scanned the room as he checked it off. She wasn't surprised to find both Alex and Isabel already seated, but she was happily surprised to find Maria also in the class. Liz found herself liking the bubbly blonde more and more, and was glad to share atleast one class with her.

"Well Ms. Parker why don't you take a seat at table 14, your partner seems to be out today but I am sure you can catch up later." Mr. Seligman directed her to the empty table and Liz got to work setting up the equipment she'd need for todays class. She was nearly finished setting up when the door to the class swung open, without glance up at the late arrival she knew instinctively it was Max. She'd felt him even before he'd entered the class, a fact that should be disturbing, but seemed completly natural to her.

"Sorry I'm late Mr. S but..."

"Mr. Evans so nice of you to join us I am sure you have a fisable explaination for your tardiness but right now why don't you spare us and take your seat." Mr. Seligman bit out aggrivated, yet his tone was lost on Max who was oblivious to the world except for the fact that Liz Parker was seated at his table.

For Liz time seemed to slow to a stand still as she locked eyes with Max, he confidently strode over to her a flirtatious smile playing on his lips. His overall presence seemed to have an immediate effect on her, her heart raced and her skin seemed to heat the closer he came. Their was no doubt Max Evans was gorgeous, but when he smiled Liz imagined even the gods themselves would be jealous.

"Hey..." he greeted and took his seat, his eyes never leaving hers.

"Hi..." Liz responded timidly, bitting at the tip of her pencil trying to releave some of her anxiety at being at such a close proximity with Max. She couldn't refrain the giggle that escaped her lips when she found Max doing the same thing.

"Alright everyone on the right take a cell sample and everyone on the left prepare the slide." Mr. Seligman announced.

For a split second Liz froze panic rising up her spine, she was more than aware of the disasterous implications that could arise from the wrong people getting a sample of her cells. She was just about to bolt when she felt Alex sending her calming emotions through their connections and through her fear his voice filter through in her mind.

~Take a breath Lex, just change the cell composition before you hand him the slide, but you need to relax before your powers flare up...~

Liz couldn't help but look back over her shoulder and give her brother a grateful smile.

While Liz had been ready to have a meltdown Max couldn't believe his luck, they could finally put an end to all the questions and prove once and for all if the Parker twins were hybrids or not. He could've sworn that Liz was ready to run out of the classroom at the mention of handing her cell samples, but the moment seemed to pass instantly and now she was calmly preparing the slide. When she handed him the slide Max let out a shaky breath and took a glance threw the lens, he was completly floored by what he saw. The cells were 100% human, and by the look on Isabel's face when he turned to acknowledge her so were Alex's. He was about to take another look when the final bell rang, and he opted to help Liz clean up instead.

"So how's your first day been?" He asked his voice even as he desperately tried not to look at her, because one glance at her and he'd be a studdaring fool.

Her voice was like the sweet benediction to his ears and despite himself Max was grining like a fool, "Yeah it's been okay so far, it's just a pretty big stretch you know Cali big city, Roswell small town...takes some getting use too." Liz chanced a glance through heavy lashes and bit her lower lip nervously, when she realized how close they were to each other.

"Well you know Roswell does have it's perks..." Max replied his voice deep and husky as he inched forward towards her.

"Oh yeah like what?" Liz drawled out her fingers lightly playing with the collar of his shirt. Her forwardness surprised her as much as it did Max, and she quickly jerked her hand away, turning a deep shade of crimson at her actions. 'Damn it what am I doing..' she silently reprimanded herself.

It only took Max a moment to regain his composure, and when he did he couldn't help but smile at Liz's fidgiting. Taking a cue from her intiative he leaned in closer his face unbearably close to her ear, if he listened closely he'd swear he could hear her heart pounding.

Liz nearly choked as Max leaned in, his warm humid breath slithering achingly close to her ear, and his sultry voice making her shudder with desire. It seemed insane that a complete stranger would have such an effect on her, but when Max was near it was like her blood boiled and her body heated, yearning for his touch. Liz mused that if he had this strong of an effect on her would she even survie his kiss.

Her scent was intoxicating and seemed to only intensifie when she was aroused, he took in a long breath and his pupil's dialated emcompassin his entire eye as his alien side shown through. Hanging on to the small thread of control Max took a breath and fought the urge to rip her cloth's off and ravage her right then and there. "Well let's see..." he whispered delighting in the small shudders that racked her body with each word, "...there's star gazing, and it's the perfect enviorment for a quiete moonlite picnic, alone...in the middle of the desert..."

Pulled by an unseen force Liz turned her face slightly staring into Max's eyes, unconciously she licked her lips, and let out a small gasp when she saw Max's eye's blackend with raw passion. The loud bang of the classroom door slamming shut had them both jumping apart gasping for breath, and before Max could recover enough to speak Liz was halfway out the door.

'What the hell is wrong with me...' Liz continued to curse herself, and blindsided ran smack dab into a hard body. She felt herself falling backwards but before she collided with the ground her road block reached out and grabbed her. "Sorry I am so sorry..." Liz apologized straightening herself out, when she heard a non-substantial grunt as a response she wasn't surprised. She looked up and found Max's bestfriend Michael staring at her curiousily annoyed. 'Perfect this is just perfect...' irony was not lost on her Liz thought.

"What's perfect?" Michael asked and was surprised when Liz blanched and stood gawking at him like he'd grown a third head. Thinking maybe she hadn't heard his question Michael repeated his question, only this time Liz bolted and Michael watched after her confused. 'Weird girl' he thought off-handedly before continuing on his way.

By the time Alex found Liz she was a nervous wreck, fidgiting and babbeling something about crazy connnections and Roswell men. He was alittle hesistant to aproach her, he'd never seen her this wound up before. "Hey, what the hell is going on?" Alex grabbed his sister by the shoulders bringing her to a sudden stop infront of him. At first the wild eyed look in his sister's eyes seemed to not even recognize him, but slowly she came around blinking and shaking out of his grip. Alex knew this was definately not the appropriate area to discuss whatever had his sister so freaked and motioned towards the car. When they were both seated and safe from prying eyes he asked her again.

"I think I found him Sander..." Liz blurted out, she was still trying to reign in the emotions that were reeking havoc on her mind since her encounter with Michael. With one final gulp of air she turned to face her brother, eager for his input on the situation, but was surprised to find him looking at her as if she'd gone mad.

"Found who Lex?" Alex found his own curiosities peeking, Liz's cryptic answer adding fuel to the fire.

"I found Rath, Sander...I found him, he's Max Evan's friend Michael..." Liz watched as a variety of emotions played on her brother's face, curiosity, relief, nervousness, and finally sadness. She understood the final emotion all to well, "...it's him Sander, I know it."

"Are you sure Lexi, I mean you've barely said two words to Michael since we got here, what makes you so sure he's Rath?" Alex asked. It's not that he didn't have faith in his sister's judgement but they really couldn't afford to make a mistake.

With a huff, Liz perceede to explain the entirety of the incident, paying close attention to describe what had transpired with Michael's unintentional telepathy. "Sander I wouldn't be this freaked out unless I was sure, and you know only siblings of the D'thaime bloodline can comunicate telepathically."

"Liz are you sure you didn't like whisper that I mean maybe you only thought you said it in your head, I mean it's an honest mistake..." Alex tried to be the voice of reason, before they both jumped head first into a situation that they could not tak back. Plus he wasn't exactly sure how plausible it would be to consider that Michael Guerin was actually heir to the throne of Sardonia and second in command to the king of Antar.

"Alex I'm not stupid that wasn't the only sign..." this time she paused unsure for a moment that she'd even heard it herself, "...I heard his thoughts aswell Sander.."

Chapter 3

"Yo Maxwell did you find anything out?" Michael asked impatiently, he'd been standing around Max's locker since his incident with the Parker girl trying to figure out what it was exactly that happened between them earlier.

As he placed the final book in his locker and shut it Max looked up to find his bestfriend staring at him, "Hey Michael, yeah everything is 100% normal no need to worry..." The look of doubt that passed between them, left Max wondering if maybe there was more to this then a simple cell test could do away with. "What is it Michael, what aren't you telling me?"

Michael couldn't seem to shake that nagging feeling in the back of his head that was screaming to him that he should know the Parker siblings. "I don't know Maxwell it's just I keep thinking that I should know who they are, like they are important to me, but why I have no clue?"

"Yeah I know what you mean, it's like since they've been here I keep sensing this feeling of de ja vou, but what happened that has you all anxious?" Max asked.

The two headed down the hallway, taking turns describing all the strange incidents they'd had with the Parker's. They were so wrapped up in the conversation that they completly missed it when Isabel and Maria walked up behind them.

Listening in for a few moments Isabel finally had enough of the paranoia, "You both are insane, you saw the proof the same as me, they are just normal human teens, so why can't you just drop it..." though she meant for it to put an end to the discussion, Isabel couldn't help but feel like she was trying to convince herself aswell as her brothers.

"Yeah plus wouldn't you guys know right away if they were of the Chezk persuassion, I mean you did when the Gerbil from hell showed up." Maria commented lacing an arm around Micheal's elbow as the group perceded down the hall.

Max nodded he knew that Maria and Isabel had a point but no matter how much he tried to rationalize the situation, he couldn't dismiss the extreme feeling of de ja vou he felt around them, and all the freak incidents that occured around the Parker twins. He was also well aware that Michael felt the exact same way as he did, that alone was enough to have him pay attention. "Maybe you guys are right, but something still doesn't add up...when I'm around Liz I just feel...." Tess's sudden appearance left him with his word in his mouth.

"When your around Liz it's like what? and who's Liz?" Tess's overly sweet voice rang in.

"Oh hey Tess, um nothing...it's nothing really so what's new?" Max quickly tried to change the topic, he wasn't really sure why but something in the back of his mind told him to keep the Parker twins a secret for now.

Tess cocked her head to the side, glancing up curiousily at Max, she wasn't buying his dismal of her question, but she was willing to drop it for now. "Nothing much, so Max have you given any more thought to my proposal to help you with your memory retrival." she asked, her syrupy sweet voice even make Michael gag.

"Geez Gerbil, don't you ever give it a rest..." Maria huffed out glaring disparagenly at the blonde before her, "..here let me help you out why don't you go peddle your shit somewhere else, cause no one here is buying." she gave Tess a caustic smile and turned before the blonde could answer. Since her arrival in Roswell, Maria only seemed to grow more and more hostile towards the hybrid, and Tess's lieing manipulating ass wasn't helping matters either.

Tess turned sharply shooting daggers at Maria with her gaze and trying to control the overwhelming desire to physically hurt the girl, but instead of answering, she refocused her attentions on Max. "Look Max you might want to keep living in your little normal fantasy world, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm your wife...your queen and it is our destiny to be together."

"OH God the destiny speech again, I'm outta here, see you later Maxwell." Michael announced and stomped off, dragging Maria behind him, "Bye Max, Isabel, Gerbil always a pleasure." Maria qwipped over her shoulder.

One glance at her brother's rigid posture and frown gave Isabel all the answers she needed, it was time to go and leave Tess to her Destiny. Extracting her brother from the blondes iron grip, she devised the a simple excuse, "Well Tess it was nice an all but we've got this family thing to do tonight, right Max?"

Following Isabel's lead Max didn't miss a beat, "Oh yeah we need to go run that errand for mom, sorry Tess maybe we can get together later and talk about the memory retrival." before he even finished his statement both Max and Isabel were scurrying down the hall, by the time they called out their farewells they were almost out the front doors.

Left standing alone and aggrivated Tess made a mental note to check out this Liz Parker girl. After all the hard work she was putting into convincing Max and the others there was no way she was going to let some human come along and destroy everything. 'No way in hell', she whispered under her breathe and left to find Kyle.

**********************************

"Hey mom were home!" Alex announced as they walked through the door to the apartment. When he heard no reply he figured she was either downstairs helping his father in the cafe or out running an errand. Plopping down on the nearest chair, he watched curiously as his sister paced anxiously infront of him.

Liz couldn't help the glare she threw her brother, he was overly relaxed and it was driving her insane, "So are you just going to sit there and do nothing!" she yelled in frustration, hoping to push him into action.

Placing a hand gingerly on the back of his neck, Alex let out a languid stretch, and then looked over at his sister. She'd resumed her pacing, and he knew that unless he found someway to calm her down, then he wouldn't get a moments peace for the rest of the day. "What would you have me do Lex, March over to his house and demand to know if he's our long lost brother Rath, who by the way happens to be an alien hybrid, oh yeah and since we are on the topic so are we. He'd probably laugh in my face, before calling the cops." he let out a sigh when he saw the hurt flash in Liz's eyes. "Look Liz I know you really want this to be true, but right now we have to keep our guard up, especially now, just try and relax if it is Rath then atleast we know he isn't going anywhere right?" hoping to appease his sister he tried to be rational, when she nodded her consent Alex walked over to her and embraced her. "Thanks, now how about I fix us a snack...what'll it be?"

Unable to deny him a smile she let the matter rest for the moment, once Alex let his mind wrap around the possibilities she knew he'd come around, "Um how about some fruit salad."

"You got it, so wait here and I'll be back." Alex gave her one more quick hug and took off for the kitchen. As he walked Alex let his mind wander, he couldn't deny the fact that he was excited, to think that his brother was finally within his grasps opened up a world of possibilities for him. Since they were children him and Liz longed for a chance to be reunited with their siblings. The only memory they've been able to retain from that previous life is the name and faces of their siblings and that small gift, left them desperate to finally find them. They'd tried every tactic in the book to get Cal to reveal their locations but so far every clue he gave turned out to be a dead end, ironic when they'd given up hope of finding them, they'd run right into their brother.

Flash...

Two boys about 10 and 9 years of age, stand face to face deep in concentration with their eyes closed. In the courtyard their is an aire of quiet anticipation, simultaneously both boys raise an arm and attack, each blast is deflected by the other, and energy goes ricocheting through the hall.

"Very good highnesses..." A male voice booms in from the far left.

The eldest boy smirks confidently, "So little brother how does it feel to play with the big boys?" Their is a boldness to his tone, that signifies his status, and as he wraps an arm about the other boy's neck he chuckles.

Though the younger boy also stands tall with his abilities his brother is still annoyingly good and he can't help the frown that passes over his face at his brother's taunting. Jerking out of his grasps he tries to regain his pride, "You tell me Rath, how does it feel to be bested by your little brother.

"Ha ha Sander, I really wouldn't get to cocky if I were you, lest you find yourself on the backend of one of my blasts." Rath qwips back, still chuckling amused with his brothers big talk.

With a shrug Sander turns to face off again, "I'd like to see you try..."

"Alright you two enough playtime is over, let's get back to your lessons!" both Rath and Sander jump to attention as the voice echoes throughout the courtyard.

End Flash....

Shaking himself out of the flash, Alex was still dazed but after a few steadying breathes he regained his composure. His mind was working a mile a minute trying to process what he'd just seen, was that really his brother and him. Alex could barely contain his excitement at the possbility, Cal had told them that once all four siblings were reunited they'd be able to unlock their memories and discover the location of the granolith, but it always seemed like a far fetched dream to him, and yet now...

"Alex?" Liz's timid voice brought him out of his thoughts. He turned suddenly and found his sister standing beside him her eyes drenched in concern, "Are you alright, you were gone for a while and when I came in you seemed to be somewhere else completly." she asked concerned.

"I had a flash Liz, a memory from that other life..." Alex described what he saw and watched as Liz stood slack jawed and amazed, they'd only had about a handful of flashes. Mostly when they were children, and always they were about each other, so to have a flash about Rath could only mean that they were close to finding him.

"So I guess it's time I pay Mr. Guerin a visit." Liz winked and made her way over to her bedroom, Alex following close behind. In her room Liz took several deep breathes as she attempted to project herself to Michael, using every detail she could remember about Michael she tried to pick up his energy pattern.

Alex stood back watching his sister carefully, he never really liked her ability to astral project, it seemed to dangerous if anything were to happen, her body would be completly defenseless, plus it was creepy how she appeared comatose. "Are you sure you can locate him?"

"Yeah just give me a second..." Liz assured her brother and went back to her meditation, letting her senses reach out further, she was able to pick up a flicker of Michael's essence and latched on. Letting herself be pulled towards his energy, Liz was soon propolled through space til she stood infront of an apartment. Taking note of the apartment number and the street address, she tried to step through the door but was soon flung back to her body. Alex was kneeling beside her a worried expression painted on his face, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah...he's in an apartment, I was able to get the address and the apartment number before I was pulled out..." Liz gave Alex a knowing glance before continuing, "...anyways I definately felt his presence their, but I also felt two other energy patterns with him two guess as to who they were." Liz smirked and gave her brother a wink.

Alex pretty much knew that Max was one of the energy patterns Liz was talking about but the second was a bit hazey for him, "Alright I know one of them is Max, but whose the second?" Alex asked brimming with curiosity.

Shaking her head, Liz couldn't believe how oblivious her brother was being, "Hello? your going to tell me you didn't feel the same tug to your energy when we were with Isabel this afternoon." Liz watched comically as her brother's cheeks turned a bright shade of red.

"So what now?" Alex asked still trying to control his emotions at the mention of Isabel Evans.

*************************************

Comfortably lounging at home, watching a hockey game, Michael was lost in thought regarding the incident this afternoon with Liz. Suddenly he jerked upright feeling a tug on his energy, it was like a rope pulling him forward. Glancing from side to side he tried to discern the location of the source, but nothing, "Did you guys feel that?" He asked the group. Both Max and Isabel nodded but Maria was too confused to say anything, then to everyone's surprise Michael bolted of the couch and made a bee line for the front door. Seconds later he flung the door open, but to his disappoint it was at that moment that the connection died. Unbeknownst to Michael, if he had only reached the door one second sooner, he would've found the ghostly appericiation of Liz's corporal form standing before him.

"Michael?!" Max and Isabel called out in unison as Michael reached the door, but they had also felt the connection die and when nothing attacked they let out a breath.

Still standing at the doorway, Michael felt confused and dissapointed, he was almost positive that was the same pull that he felt towards Liz, but after searching for a couple of minutes and coming up empty handed, he resigned himself to simply stare off into the point of space where he'd felt the strongest pull. He was lost in thought when he felt Max step up beside him. "Maxwell I know you felt it too, and as crazy it as this is going to sound I am positive it was Liz's energy." Michael informed not really to his friend but more in general, his thoughts were too clutered and he needed a way to sort them out.

Unlike Michael, Max wasn't so certain about what had just occured, he'd felt the tug, but it was a vague flicker only. Watching Michael jump out his seat and feeling the anxiety that kept rolling off him, he was sure that his best friend was dealing with something completly different. Knowing Michael's pension for acting before thinking had Max worried for them all, "Michael I know you want answers, but right now is not the time to go jumping into something without thinking it through."

Shaking his head in, Michael couldn't help but feel annoyed with Max's constant wait and do nothing attitude, "Maxwell, it felt like every cell in my body was screaming at me to pay attention, and right now I need to go to them..." Max was about to object, but Michael quickly put a halt to it, "...this is important to me Max, just trust me on this please."

For the first time in his life Max felt Michael's desperation, whatever this connection was it was something that they all needed to get to the bottom of. If he was being honest with himself, he would know that he was doing this just as much for himself, as he was for Michael. He couldn't deny his attraction to Liz Parker, or the way his soul came alive when she was around. It was like every molecule in his body yearned for her, and he'd only just met her.

After a few minutes more of standing in silence, both boys made their way back into the apartment. Isabel seemed panicked and Max quickly went over to his sister, trying to calm her down. He knew that the one thing she craved in life was normalcy and with all this strange incidents her normal facade was quickly crumbling before her eyes.

"Izzy it's going to be okay?" he told her, earning him a halfhearted smile for his efforts.

Michael watched as Maria paced and sniffed one of her cedar oil viles, she'd been uncharacteristically quiet and he was mentally counting down the De Luca explosion that was seconds from errupting. 5, 4, 3, 2...

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON! I mean one minute everyone is all fine and dandy the next it is like weird alien central, and no one says a DAMN word to the lowly human who is clueless, as her boyfriend makes a mad dash for the door and her two bestfriends look like they've been shot or something and I'm just supposed to what, guess what is going on wel, l news flash I AM NOT PSYCHIC, so you better start explaining Space Boy!..." Maria's ranting was disrupted by her need for air and as she took a breath and prepared for part two, Michael pulled her to him and silenced her with a kiss.

"Calm down blondie, take a seat and I will explain as best I can." he gently ushered her to the empty bar stool, and went on to retell of the strange incidents that seemed to be a constant around the Parker Twins. "The feeling I get around them it's strong, it's like they are calling to me...almost like when we first came out of the pods...that's how I felt around Max and Isabel..." he finished and let the others describe their incidents to Maria, while he continued to ponder the enigma that is the Parkers.

Finally satisfied Maria agreed that the Parkers were definately not of the earthly persuasion, "So if you guys think they are hybrids, are you going to approach them about it or just sulk around behind their backs." Maria asked she knew Max was hesistant about coming clean with the new aliens but sometimes you just need to have a little faith in people, so she was hoping he'd take the chance. Plus she really liked the Parkers, they were nothing like Tess, and seemed to genuinely want to fit in, so they couldn't be all bad, she thought.

The room turned their attention to Max in expectation, "I think it's time we go to Nacedo and Tess, something doesn't seem to fit...I mean when they came to town spewing all this stuff about destiny and the royal four, they never mentioned anything about other pods or hybrids. I think they definately have the answers we're looking for..." Max announced even though he still was hesistant about including Tess in the knowledge of Alex and Liz being hybrids, he wasn't going to put the groups safety at risk because of it.

At the mention of Tess Michael stiffened, "Are you sure about this Maxwell, I know Tess is technically one of us, but I'm not thrilled when it comes to telling her about Liz and Alex."

Neither Isabel nor Maria could suddenly understand Michael's protective streak, true that neither girl was all to fond of Tess, but she never really appeared to be dangerous. Now both Max and Michael were treating her like the enemy and they couldn't really understand why.

"I don't get it Spaceboy yesterday you didn't seem to fond of the Parker twins, so what got you all big brother on them...hmmm?" Maria asked concernd by her boyfriends sudden change in personality.

Taking a minute to try and formulate is thoughts Michael answered, "I'm not sure what changed, but it's like subconsciously their is this need in me to protect them, like they are important to me, or they were important to who I use to be." he explained and recieved baffled looks from everyone.

"We need to get to the bottom of this and quick, being left in the dark hasn't really worked out to well for us in th past, and I sure as hell don't want another surprise like Tess hanging over us again." Max commented and once everyone said their piece it was decided they would confront Liz and Alex, about their checkoslavakian status, before informing Tess and Nacedo.

Chapter 4

The Crashdown was bustling with activity, people enjoying themselves busy eating and talking carelessly, everything seemed picturesque. All but one lone figure, who was neither eating nor was she enjoying the lively banter of her surrondings. The blonde was on a mission, and her target was at the moment running around cheerfully serving and taking orders.

"Can I get you anything else?" Her sweet voice pierced Tess's thoughts.

"No I'm good..." Tess shrugged and watched distastefully as the brunette bounced away. She'd felt a strange pull to the girl and her brother and it seemed to rub her the wrong way. Something was just beneath the surface, but she couldn't put her finger on it, so she decided to do alittle investigating of her own. Finding an oppurtunity Tess closed her eyes and scruntched her face in concentration. She was reaching out trying to access Liz Parker's memories, but instead of haveing free reign in her mind she was met with a brickwall. Angry at this human's meek attempts to stop her, Tess tried putting forth more energy and was yet again met with failure. Frustrtated and confused Tess stared wide eyed and outraged at the brunette, 'What's going on?' she pondered, her eyes still locked on her target.

On the otherside of the restaurant Liz felt the surge of power aswell as someone's obvious attempts to walk through her memories. Instantly she knew who it was and taking advantage of the blondes distracted appearance she returned the favor. Both Liz and Alex had been trained well, if nothing else Cal was a decent coah. 'About all he's good for' Liz spat out silently, before she continued her information retrival. Scanning the blondes intentions she was disturbed by what she found and quickly pulled out of the Tess's mind. The last thought she picked up was Tess's weak attempts to try and figure out who she was. Never one to back down, Liz figured it was time to give the blonde a small preview of what she was dealing with. Liz sauntered over to Tess's table and with a sweet smile plastered on her lips she arrived at her side. "So Tess would you like anything else, or maybe you'd like alittle background information on me..." Liz taunted when Tess glanced up at her, she was met with Liz's blazing eyes locking on to hers and Tess nearly chocked on her cherry coke.

"How did you..." Tess studdard out in horror, she'd misjudged Liz Parker and now she was in the open. This could definately put a damper on her plans, Tess wordlessly commented. She was about to attempt a mindwarp when she felt the intensity to Liz's power radiating off her, Max, Michael, and Isabel were easy to handle mere children with their powers, but Liz was obviously trained just as she was. Liz was a threat, and Tess was truly afraid for the first time in a long time.

How dare she, who the hell did this blonde bitch think she was dealing with, before Liz could respond or even enjoy the fear that swam in Tess's eyes the door chime rang announcing the latest patrons arrival at the Crashdown. "Max..." she breathed out, her eyes still locked on Tess. She watched as Tess's fear burned into anger, and knew that this blonde was definately not what she appeared to be, she'd file this away for now, and instead decided to go greet the new arrivals. Before she walked away Liz left Tess alittle warning of her own.

~Next time you decide to take alittle trip in someones memories, remember to block your own...just a word of advice Avan'yan..~ Liz pathed and for the second time Tess spit coke all over herself. Satisfied Liz threw Tess a warning glance over her shoulder and sauntered over towards the gang, adding an extra sway to her hips for good measure.

Liz had felt Max's presence even before he'd entered the cafe, this connection seemed to be growing by leaps and bounds and though once again she thought it should scare her, it felt completely natural. Pushing down the butterflies that seemed a perminant fixture whenever Max was around, Liz scurried over to greet the group. She wasn't surprised to find Michael, Maria and Isabel with him and eagerly returned their greetings with a smile, before returning her attentions to Max.

Max's heart skipped a beat when he caught sight of Liz's smile, the small act of familiarity sent warm currents racing throughout his body. He couldn't help but answer her smile with and even broader one of his own, and then he was trapped in her gaze. Michael elbowed him out his trance and the group made their way over to their usual booth. Max was still so focused on Liz that he completly missed Tess's presence an act that did not go unnoticed by the blonde.

Catching sight of Tess and the anger that was rolling of the girl, Michael quickly tried to alliviate the situation, "Hey Tess what are you doing here?" he asked trying to get the girls attention away from Liz's direction. He wasn't sure why but just having Tess in such close proximity to Liz disturbed Michael. After a few seconds of silence Michael asked again this time with more conviction. He watched as Tess dragged her eyes away from Liz's direction, almost disgusted but when she faced the group her plastic smile was securly in place.

"Oh hey guys, um what are you doing here?" Tess asked seemingly oblivious to Michael's previous question, she tried to reign in her anger before the group caught on.

Max seemed confused by Tess's behaivour, she appeared preoccupied and confused something new for her, Tess had never missed a beat before around the group, but now she seemed completely lost in thought. "That's what we just asked, are you sure your okay...you seem alittle out of it..." Max probed further Tess's strange behaivor seemed to be attributed with her constant watch on Liz and Max was disturbed by it.

"Oh me nothing I just came by to grab a bite to eat..." Tess regarded the group hesistantly, trying to find a means to take the spotlight off herself she decided to play a different angel, "...So I guess your errands ended early huhn..." Max was entirely to clean cut for his own good, Tess watched as he figited and figured right away that the whole errand scenario was just an excuse to get out of hanging out with her. That alone sent her over the edge, "Wow...Max never picked you as a coward, if you didn't want to hang out you could've just told me, but instead you came up with a lame excuse, I'm out of here if you ever grow some balls and decide to grow up and follow your destiny give me a call!" Tess spat out and stormed off, but not before glaring at the group. 'They'd play ball, or I'll make them play ball, either way I'll have my way' she silently vowed and disappeared out the front doors.

Despite his misgivings regarding Tess, in all fairness she had been nothing but helpful when they were in a jam, and despite his better judgement he felt like a jerk at that second. She'd been right to call him a coward, but Max also knew that if he'd just gone to her with the truth Tess would've taken to hounding him until he finally aggreed. Ofcourse his guilt was put on hold when her heard Liz's soothing voice.

"Geez what's her problem..." Liz commented as she reached the table, "...hey guys what can I get you?"

"Hey Liz you work here now?" Maria asked curiously excited by the prospect of having Liz as a working buddy.

Liz couldn't help but smile at Maria, something about the girl warmed her heart, "Yeap mom's got both me and Alex slaving away, but I think I got the better end of the deal"[/i[ she giggled as she motioned to the front of the cafe with her head.

Outside in what appeared to be an overly exxagerated alien custom was her poor misguided brother, once again she broke out in a fit of giggles, "Yeah that's Alex..." she confirmed when the others gave her a questioning glance, "...Dad roped him to handing out a few flyers, ofcourse he never mentioned anything about the get up until it was to late..."

The gang turned just in time to see Alex get kicked in the shins by a 5 year old and everyone broke out laughing. Liz sensing her brothers less than praticle intentions regarding the child dashed off, praying she reached him before any real damage was done. "Excuse me guys, I'll be right back..." she called out over her shoulder.

Still transfixed with the scenario outside the gang couldn't stifle the laugh that was brought on by the sight of Alex literally chasing the child waving his hands around in the air, or the 5 year olds less then impressed face as he kicked Alex's other shin. Luckily Liz was their to restrain her brother who seemed to be fuming with anger. Quickly following the shin kicking incident, Alex stomped back into the cafe, ripping of his mask before making his way to the back room, cursing the entire time.

By the time Liz made it back to the booth she was red as a tomatoe and out of breathe, "Sorry...I guess that's all...the promoting for today..." she struggled to explain through gulps of air and offered to bring them all a round of cherry cokes on the house for the wait.

When the group was sure that she was out hearing range Michael brought back the groups attention, "So Maxwell how are we going to do this?"

Completely enthralled in Liz, Max found it hard to tear his eyes away long enough from to give an answer. Knowing all to well that unless someone snapped him back to reality they'd be at this all day Maria snapped her fingers infront of Max's face. "Hey MoonDoggie snap out of it..."

"Huhn...what Maria?" Max managed to get out, before resuming he returned his gaze to Liz.

Both Isabel and Maria shook their heads, Max's obsessive staring was really turning into a problem, "Well, since Michael seems to be the one who has the deepest connection to the Parker Twin's..." at that insinuation Max gave his sister a death glare which she waved off and continued, "...then I think he should be the one to approach Liz."

Michael was a bit hesistant and looked to Max for final confirmation, when Max nodded his consent, he gathered up his courage and headed over to the counter where Liz was still currently filling the gangs drink order. Trying his best to keep his stonewall persona in place, he was surprised to find Liz cheerfully smiling up at him before he even had a chance to say a word.

"Hey Michael, I'm almost done with these, but if there's something else you guys want?" she questioned sweetly.

Once again Michael was struck speechless by how familiar Liz Parker's presence appeared to him, and when she reached over and put her hand gently on his arm to get his attention he was thrown into a flash.

Flash....

The night was moist and rich with the tangy scent of Sarmosa blossom's, which hung heavy in the air. A young girl sat deep in concentration, staring out into the vast darkness that surrounded her. Exquisitely dressed in a crimson gown she appeared completly out of place in the lonely shadows that held her captive. A sudden breeze swirled around her causing her chocolate locks to dance around her, falling in waves down her back. As he approached her he was once again awstruck by the enigma that was his sister, she was tiny compared to his other siblings, including her own twin Rina who was a few inches taller than her, but yet she contained enough power flowing through her delicate body to rival the finest warriors throughout the 5 planets.

Sensing his prensence Alexia broke her concentration, and turned to face her brother as he approached her, "You know it can be considered rude to spy on others Rath."

"Well if you wouldn't insist on disappearing on your own, then I wouldn't have to keep spying on you Lexi..." He answered her, closing the distance between them, he was worried by the amount of sadness he was able to pick up from their connection, before she wisened up and sheilded her thoughts from him. With a sigh he took a seat next to her on the bench, trying to decide how to approach her.

"Lexi, you know how sorry I am about all this, but it is for the best."

"Really, and whose best would that be Rath, because it is certainly not mine." she spat out and started to get up. She was in no mood to have this conversation again.

Rath took hold of wrist as she flew by him, bringing his sister to a hault mid step, "Lex you knew from the begining there could never be anythig more than friendship when it came to Zan. Honestly Lexi what were you thinking you are betrothed to Ciyan, his brother and Zan is about to be crowned King, you need to put an end to this now, or so help me..."Rath had not meant for his words to come out so harsh, but his anger was easily starting to boil over.

Disgusted by everyone's sudden intrest in her personal life Alexia jerked her hand out of her brother's grasp, itching for a confrontation, she turned and glared at him...

End Flash.....

Flung back to reality Michael was completly disoriented, he'd never recieved a memory flash from his past life, and when he glanced down at Liz he could tell by her shaken appearance that she'd seen the flash aswell. He watched as Liz mouthed the word 'Rath', before taking off and heading for the backroom, leaving a very confused Michael to stand alone in her wake.

Max who had witnessed the scene play out made his way cautiously over to Michael, "What happened Michael?" he whispered and tried to lead Michael back to the booth with the others.

"She's my sister..." Michael blurted out before wrenching out of Max's grasp and heading for the backroom in pursuit of Liz.

A second to late to stop him Max prayed that Michael wouldn't do anything stupid enough to comprise everyones security. He glanced at the booth and motioned for his sister and Maria to follow his lead as he cautiously made his way into the backroom.

In the backroom Michael had cornered Liz and both appeared to be in pretty heavy staring contest. Max almost thought they were in a trance, until Liz glanced up confused to find them all standing their watching her.
"You guy's can't be back here..."[/i] she whispered not wanting to draw to much attention to the gathering, especially since her parents were in the office a couple of doors away.

"Look Liz I know you saw that flash, and I know you know who I am, I just need to know if what I saw was real. So why don't you quit playing all these games and just be straight forward with me." Michael demanded.

"Michael!" Max called out a warning, this situation was already spiraling out of control and he needed to put an end to it before things were to far gone to repair.

"I have no idea what your talking about, now please leave before my dad comes out and flips at the fact that you guys are back here." Liz told them as she attempted to scoot them all out of the backroom, but she was stopped dead in her tracks when she heard Michael's voice.

"Et tous viatra Alexia...Minva?" Michael spoke out, his eyes seeming to glow with an unearthly shade of amber, and when Liz turned to face him her own eyes also seemed to retain the same amber glow. The others were too shocked to say anything and watched transfixed as the scene played out before them, Liz took a few steps closer to Michael placing a hand gently on his cheek, which he leaned into.

"Vanya? Mea Vanya tres buscano Rathos." Liz whispered a tear sliding down her cheeck as she was still caught in Michael's gaze.

The moment was suddenly shattered as Alex came flying down the stairs and flung Liz behind his back. He stared them all down, not even flinching when he saw Michael's eyes. "The 4 of you need to go now, we can't do this here it is too dangerous, please just go..." It looked like Michael was about to protest but Alex cut him off, "We will meet you back at your place as soon as Liz is done with her shift." Alex informed keeping his eyes locked on Michael.

~Please just give us a few hours and we will come find you...I promise~

Michael was too surprised to argue and allowed Maria to lead him away. He glanced over his shoulder just as they were about to walk through the backdoor, and watched longingly as Alex held Liz in his arms and tried to calm his sister down. In his mind the only thought that echoed repeatedly was that he was walking away from his family and they still hadn't been formely introduced.

When they reached the jeep, Max who had kept quite decided that he couldn't bite his tounge anylonger. "Michael what the hell do you think you were doing in their?!" He growled out, not only had Michael put them all in danger with his impulsive behaivor but he had caused Liz to panic.

"Look Maxwell back off this is none of your buisness..." Michael spat back.

"Ofcourse this is my buisness, you put all of us in danger and nearly blew our cover, and that concerns me..." Max had just about had it with Michael's attitude and he could feel a full on battle lurking in the wings.

Isabel who had remained quiet for the duration of the battle of wills aswell as the scene with Liz and Michael decide to put an end to the confrontation before it spilled out and turned into another Max/Michael battle. "Look, both of you can it, now Michael what exactly happened back their because the whole glowing eyes and speaking in a different language really freaked me out."

After one final glare at his fearless leader Michael turned to face Isabel, and went on to describe the flash, "It was like I was their, back on our planet and that whole confrontation in the flash it felt so real. I have no doubt in my mind who the Parker twins are...they are my siblings." he stated matter of factly.

"Are you sure?" Maria asked.

"Yes, I know it sounds crazy, but I am positive when I connected to Liz it's like something inside me just clicked and I knew her, she's my sister, and Alex is my brother and..." Michael's brow furword as he scratched his eyebrow before continuing, "...and there is still one more sister missing...Serina." Michael whispered the name, he'd never heard it before, but as soon as her name left his lips he was sure.

Skeptical at the very least Max took a moment to study is bestfriend, he'd never seen him this sure about anything before and that thought alone scared him. Michael under normal circumstances tended to be a loose cannon but when he had an idea stuck in his head there was no stopping him. He knew he had to word his thoughts carefully or things could get ugly, "Michael it's not that we don't believe you, but until yesterday we had no clue there were others out there and now your talking about a girl we haven't even met yet. Maybe we need to take a step back and just worry about the two we have here first and I really think it is time we call Nacedo back."

The jeep jerked to a stop infront of Michael's place, and they watched as Michael jumped out, it appeared that he wasn't even going to respond but mid stride he turned on his heels, "Maxwell look I know you guys have every reason to be cautious and maybe I am going alittle over the top with this, but I know them deep down in here..." Michael pointed at his heart as he spoke, "...and the same way you knew Isabel was your sister I am sure about the Parker twins, just have alittle faith in me."

The emotions rolling off him, and his confession regarding his feelings left the group in utter disbelief and as they watched Michael enter his apartment, they all sat in silent contemplation. Then slowly they followed suit no one uttered a word but it was silently agreed that for now they'd wait and see what Liz and Alex had to say before any further judgements were made. Max plopped down on the couch next to Michael, while the girls busied themselves with cleaning up the apartment. As Max glanced at his watch he realized that this was going to be the longest 2 hours of his life.

******************************

"BANG!" the destiny book went flying across the room and crashed into the wall. "DAMN IT!" Tess cursed again and again, she was fuming and every time she tried to reach Nacedo she was met with a busy signal. So instead she took out her frustration by flinging things across Kyle's room.

"Where the hell is he?!" she screamed into the phone as the dial tone sounded deafly in her ear.

Hearing the commotion as he entered the house Kyle made his way cautiously over to his room, "Bad day?" he asked and smirked when Tess let out a yelp.

"Kyle?!" she squeaked out in surprise, in her temper tantrum she'd missed his entrance and now red faced and embarassed she desperately tried to come up with a viable excuse for her behaivior. "Hey what are you doing home?" she asked sweetly.

All Kyle could do was smile, despite everything Tess really had become a permanent fixture at the Valentie house and he couldn't say that he was disturbed by it, she'd managed to warm her way into his heart. There'd been awhile their when he'd sworn off all things alien related, but when he came to terms with the pod squad, an the fact that Max had saved his father's life when he'd accidently been shot last year during a robery attempt at the Crashdown. That's when he became a member of the ever exclusive 'I-know-an-alien-club', and shortly after that Tess had shown up. Now the hybrid queen was staying with him and his dad, though he tried to keep his feelings in check, he was slowly falling for her. Unlike the other's he saw a vulnerable side to Tess, a side that she desperately tried to hide with cool cynisism, and fake sugary sweetness.

"Well football practice ended early so I was wondering if you might want to catch a movie, they're playing Mars Attack at the cineplex..." he arched his eyebrows and gave her a smile.

Despite herself Tess couldn't help but laugh, and under different circumstances she would jump at the offer, out of everyone Kyle seemed to be the only one that treated her affectionately. The others always seemed to bend over backwards trying to steer clear of her and exclude her, but Kyle went out of his way to make her feel wanted and she really appreciated that, but tonight she had to many demons to face. "Sorry Kyle I kinda have somethings I need to get done tonight." she watched regretfully as his smile faded, "...but how about we catch a movie tomorrow my treat." she quickly added. What was she doing, Tess thought off-handedly, she needed to remember her objective here, and as tempting as Kyle was, he wasn't part of the deal.

"Sure thing Tess..." he agreed, he wanted to tell her more, make her see that she deserved better than her supposive destiny with a man who'd never love her. That she deserved a chance to truly find happiness, but intead he silently longed for her and went out into the livingroom. He was sure that whatever mood Tess was in Evans was at the root of it, and he couldn't understand why she just didn't say the hell to this destiny crap and live her life. If there was one thing he was sure of, it was that Evans would cause her nothing but heart ache and in the end Tess would be left out in the cold.

After Kyle walked out Tess tried to regain her composure, obiviously flying off the handle was not productive, so she'd have to think of something calmly and rationally. If Nacedo wasn't picking up, then there was surely a reason for it, but it was imperative that she get in contact with him, especially now that the Parker Twins were in town. She still wasn't sure why he'd never mentioned the possibility of other hybrids, and by looks of them they had to be on the ship with the rest of them so..."Argh..." Tess rubbed her temples in frustration, something was definately up, and now was not the time to be blindsided. Just as she was about to go into another meltdown the cell phone rang.

"Hello?...where the hell are you...yes...no we have a definate problem...NO...yes in the shape of two brand new hybrids...what?...I don't know a girl brunette kinda mousy and a boy blue eyes...I don't know I guess...yes the others have met them...what...What do yo mean keep them away...What exactly aren't you telling me...Hello? HELLO?" Tess flung the cell phone across the room and watched as it smashed into pieces. "Damn Him!" she cursed again.

Taking a breath she tried to process what just happened, so these two were a definate problem, especially the girl, but who were they exactly all Nacedo had told her was to keep them away from Max and Michael. Especially Michael he had warned her that things could be disasterous if Michael connected to the Parkers, but why, she couldn't figure. Who exactly were the Parkers and why were they important to Michael, "Argh...Damn it I can't do this all on my own!" Tess bit out angerly.

Unfortunately for her at that very minute both Parker twins were headed for the meeting that would change the course of all their lives, especially hers.

******************************

The car ride to Michael's was deafeningly silent, neither Alex nor Liz spoke, their heads swimming with a multitude of scenarios and each was anxiously waiting for the confrontation. As they arrived, neither made the first move to exit the car, the moment with charged with nervous energy and from the pull to their energy they knew inside was no better.

"Are you sure about this Liz? I mean we could always turn back and just say the hell to all this..." Alex offered, his fingers drumming the steering wheel in anticipation.

Liz let out breath and turned to her brother, resolve shining in her eyes, "Alex you know we need to do this, we've been waiting for this moment since as far back as I can remember. Plus I'm no chicken let's get this over with." she smiled and headed out.

Even before they had a chance to knock, Michael opened the door an awkward smile on his lips, he let them in. The room was uncomfortably silent as the Parkers made their entrance.

"Hey guys..." Alex offered a greeting, which was eargerly met with a round of heys.

"Alright I can see this is going to be awkward so I guess I'll start..." Liz spoke up from next to her brother, "...I'm assuming the majority of the people in this room are not of the earthly persuasion so it will come as no surprise to you that neither are me and my brother."

Michael, Isabel and Max nodded in aggreement, which left only Maria who smiled warmly, "Yeap I seem to be the odd man out here, being entirely human, but hey no worries your secret is safe with me." she promised tring to ease both Liz and Alex's apprehension.

Michael offered them a seat and they both humbly aggreed taking up residence on a pair of empty bar stools facing the group. "So were you in the crash with us?" Isabel asked.

Both Liz and Alex nodded, "Yeah as far as we know we were both in the '47 Crash, but we were in incubation pods and you guys know the rest, what I'm curious about is why we were seperated, I mean obiviously we were all meant to find each other but why all the secrecy." Alex commented his mind working a mile a minute trying desperately to come up with an explanation.

Max who'd been too enthralled with Liz's presence, finally tore his eyes away from her long enough to ask his own questions, "Are there any other's still out there that you know off?"

Biting on her lower lip, Liz decided that she could trust these people enough to tell them what she knew, "Um well, as far as we know there are 3 more royals out there, but then again our protector wasn't to forth coming with the information, and then only if it suited his needs." she bit out, it was hard to hide her contempt for their protector, the bastard seemed to be only interested in his own well being and constantly fucked with their heads, imperative or no imperative they just could not be trusted.

"Wait you guys know Nacedo?" Michael asked dumbfounded.

"Nope not Nacedo, Cal that's our Protectors name and let's just say the bastard is not really very trustworthy, so I'd watch out for your end, if what I picked up from Tess in any indication you all have been played like puppets." Liz informed matter of factly, as she turned to her brother who simply shrugged.

The other three hybrids glanced at each other confused, "What do you mean picked up from Tess?" Max asked generally concerned by this bit of information.

Liz was a bit hesistant to share this information, she wasn't sure how close the others were to Tess, but decided to simply give them the benifit of the doubt. "This afternoon at the Crash, your little blonde bimbo decided to take a little stroll through my memories..." Liz watched as both Michael and Alex stiffened but waved them off, "...but I guess she wasn't expecting to find my mind shielded so I inturn took a stroll through her mind while she was stupidly unguarded and lets just say that chic is bad news."

"I knew it! That gerbil has been nothing but trouble since the moment she set foot in Roswell!" Maria growled.

"Yeah but what about her whole deal with the destiny book and our mission here on earth?" Isabel asked, she still wasn't Tess's biggest fan but to think that she'd been playing them all this time sickened her.

Alex and Liz looked at each other confused, they'd never heard anything about a mission or some book, but then again Cal was too interested in his own hide to really count on for information regarding their true purpose. "Look I don't know what this mission is, or what the hell a destiny book is, but then again our protector only trained us on our powers and pretty much took off after that." Alex informed the others.

Max sat back taking in everything he'd heard, though he'd always felt leary around Tess and Nacedo he wasn't about to discredit them completly, atleast not until he'd checked a few things out for himself. 3 more hybrids, the thought alone was so far out there he could barely fathom it, and then it ocurred to him, "If you and Liz are Michael's siblings, do you know who the other 3 are?"

The room grew silent and expectation even Maria seemed enthralled in this bit of information, Liz took the incitive to answer, letting her gaze fall on Max, "Well there's my sister Serina, and then there's Tristan who was Melinia's older brother..." The group watched as Liz's eye's misted over with unshed tears, and Alex stepped up lacing an arm around her shoulder. He continued where she'd left off, "...Melinia was in our set of pods but her's was damaged in the crash and she didn't make it, but the final hybrid is actually your's and Isabel's younger brother Ciyan."

Both Max and Isabel let out a gasp, so they had a little brother somewhere out there, the idea left them feeling a mixture of hope and sadness. Would they ever be able to find the others or were their fates sadly intwined with that of Melinia. Isabel spoke first, "Do you know where they are?"

Alex nodded, unfortunately if Cal did know their location he wasn't saying and only Max would be able to force the answer from him, "Nah we've been barking up that tree for awhile, unfortunately even though the Protectors are sworn to watch out for us, only Max can force them to answer any real questions."

"What do you mean only Max can force them to answer?" Michael asked curious at Alex's inciniuation.

"Well Max is our King and as such all the protectors are encoded to follow a direct command from him, but the problem is that after spending almost 60 years here on earth they've gotten extremely good at bendig that rule." Alex answered flatly, it was no secret that neither he nor Liz had any love for the shapeshifters.

"I don't get it how did you guys get from Roswell to California, and where are your pods hidden?" Maria asked she'd been wary of the fact that even though they'd been to the Meseliko Reservation and the Cave Riverdog had shown them, they'd never stumbled upon a second set of pods.

Finally pulling her thoughts away from her dead friend, Liz tried to answer Maria's questions as best she could, "As far as we know the adoption was taken care of by a second private party and our first memory is of the Parkers picking us up, we've never been back to Roswell since we hatched and as far as Riverdog or the cave where are pods are hidden, we have no clue..." Liz answered matter of factly, she'd begun to pace while her thoughts bounced off each other in her mind. They were so close to uncovering everything they'd always wanted to know, but she couldn't help but be scared.

Max felt Liz's turmoil and he wanted nothing more than to wrap his arms around her and keep her safe, but he wasn't even sure what was what anymore. They'd been in the dark for so long before Tess and Nacedo, and now to learn that they still had no clue what their real purpose was left him angry. He'd trusted Tess and now to learn that she'd been playing them all, he felt his world tilt of acess.

"I think it is time we confronted both Tess and Nacedo, aswell as taking a little trip to the Reservation..." Max informed the others, his mind was already made up as to what the divisions were going to be for the groups. "I don't want Alex or Liz anywhere near Nacedo and Tess, for now we will play the dumb card as to who they really are, so I think it is best if I confront Tess and Nacedo, while the rest of you go to the Reservation and meet with Riverdog."

Michael and Isabel were not comfortable with having Max go alone and made it known, "Max I don't think you should go alone, how about I go with Liz and Alex and you take Michael." Isabel tried to reason with her brother and was comforted when he agreed with out to much convincing.

Everyone was preparing to leave, it was late and they'd all had a tiring day when a thought crossed Liz mind, almost as if it were planted there out of nowhere. Alex turned to his sister feeling her excitement and was surprised to find that the same idea flashed in his mind. "Wait, if you guys know where your pods are, then you also know where the granolith is hidden right?" Liz asked stopping everyone dead in their tracks. She watched as the others stared at her confused only Alex seemed to have any idea of what she was talking about and her heart sank when she heard the others.

"Granolith what's that?" Isabel asked curiously.

Liz shook her head confused, from everything they'd been taught the granolith would certainly be entrusted to the king and more than likely hidden with the pods, how could they not know its location. "It's a religious relic, or a weapon...it's kinda hard to explain but it is of the up most importance to our people." she tried to explain, but recieving nothing but blank stares she grew impatient. "This is ridiculous didn't your protector tell you anything?" she huffed out.

"We didn't learn about our protector until a year ago, when he showed up here with Tess." Michael answered, he was slowly coming to realize that he was more in the dark now then he ever imagined.

"What?!" both Alex and Liz coughed out incrediously.

"Yeah we grew up here in Roswell, we knew we were different, but not until recently did we learn about our planet and our destiny here on earth." Max said.

A mutual feeling of bewilderment passed between the Parker twins, exactly what had gone wrong and what exactly was Nacedo up to. "Hold up, so Tess didn't grow up with you guys?" Alex asked trying to piece together the puzzel. When everyone shock their head he continued, "...and when she showed up, what exactly did she tell you?" he watched as a grimace was passed between the Roswell group.

"Well she said that we had died on our planet and our essence were sent to earth as the Royal Four, I was King Zan, Michael was my second in command Rath, Isabel was my sister and princess Valonndra, and Tess was my wife Queen Ava..." Suddenly Max stopped when he heard Liz laugh out loud.

"Wait Tess said she was the Queen, that lying bitch... when I get my hands on her I will ring her bleached blonde trashy neck..." Liz growled and began to pace mummbling to herself, Alex tried to calm her down but was pushed back by the force of Liz's anger as her sheild went up unconciously.

Both Isabel and Michael hurried to his side and helped him up, there eyes still glued to Liz who seemed to grow angrier with every passing second. The energy could literally be felt in the air as it crackled and sizzeled. The Roswell gang was left in awe at her sheer power, but Alex knew better, his sister under normal circumstances was a force to be reckoned with but an angry Liz was just terrifying.

"What's wrong with Liz?" Michael asked caustiously under his breath not wanting to set her off again.

Alex watched transfixed as Liz slowly transformed into her predecessor, Alexia. As if on cue Liz turned to face them her eyes glowing amber with raw power, she locked her sights on Max who unconciously took a step towards her and when Isabel tried to prevent him from getting to close, her hand was pushed back by the same unseen shield that surrounded Liz. The scene playing out before them felt charged with a torrid energy, afraid for her brother Isabel turned to Alex and pleaded with her eyes for him to intervine.

Alex watched helpless like the rest of them, he knew this moment was destined to happen but they weren't prepared for it, the adverse effects of awakening both Liz and Max's alien side without having all their memories or the unified group could be lethal.

"Mia cuorra, ties amo...Alexia..." Max spoke the words, yet his voice seemed unnatural, laced with a regal power that sent shivers down his queen's spine. She gasped her eye's transforming again blackened out with desire she called out to her lover. "Zan amores satel sempre..." Alexia floated towards him, longing to feel his hands all over her body once again, it had been to many decades she lay in wait alone and cold, her soul crying out for it's mate.

In a moment of sheer stupidity Alex forced his way in between his king and queen screaming in pain as their energies bombarded his system. The others watched horrified as Alex's body was flooded with wave after wave of power, while Liz and Max seemed to be frozen in place, their eyes both glowing the same irry shade of amber. Right at the point when all seemed hopeless the energy surrounding the trio died and all three fell to the floor unconcious. It took Michael and Isabel a second to react, and then they were checking on their fallen friends, both Liz and Max seemed to be coming too fine, but Alex was in bad shape. His cloths were singed from the extrodinary amount of power he'd sustained and his breathing was shallow and ragged.

Liz felt as if she'd been hit with a mach truck and when the realization of what had happened hit her she was at her brothers side, "Oh Sander are you stupid, Damn it you know better than to try and get in the way of an awakening!" She yelled at him the tears streaming down her face, she tried to heal his surface wounds as best she could and then called for Max to scan him.

Max who was still grougy and completly clueless as to what had just transpired, stumbled over to Alex's fallen body and scanned his body for any serious damage, he was left in horrified astonishment at the amount of damage Alex sustained and quickly set to repair a punctured lung as well as the internal bleeding that racked his body. Once he was sure that everything was okay he fell backwards, heaving a deep breath and completly exhausted.

The events that unfolded before him, left Michael stupified, what on earth was going on with Max and Liz, and why had Alex risked his own life to stop it, he was at Liz's side comforting his estranged sister as they waited for Alex to revie. Liz had taken shelter in his arms and was weeping silently against his chest, there was something very comforting about the moment, that struck his heart, like he'd done it a million times before. His hand gently stroked her hair, as he tried to calm her, "Lexi he'll be okay, it wasn't your fault so stop blaming yourself..." he whispered soothingly as he held her in his arms.

Regaining some sort of composure Max let Isabel lead him to the couch, his eyes locked on Liz's distraught form. Isabel's voice slowly brought him back to reality, "Max what the hell just happened?" she asked fear lacing her words. It was clear to everyone that something big had just transpired, something that Alex was willing to sacrifice his life to prevent but what. Slowly Max thought back to the moments just before his world went blank, he'd just informed Alex and Liz what they'd learned from Tess...Tess? that's it, "Isabel Tess wasn't the queen, I mean Ava wasn't my wife..." then his eyes once again locked on Liz and her's were pulled to his like clockwork. "Alexia was the queen..." he breathed out, but before he could get any further in his thoughts Alex began to come to.

Liz tackeled her brother in a hug, cursing him everywhich way to sunday for his stupidity, "Sander are you some kind of retard what if you had died in your lame brain attempt huhnn?" she spat out still holding him in her vise like grip. Alex tried to speak but found himself squeeshed, "Lex if you don't let go I'ma die of afficiation.." he sputtered out. Liz slowly released her grip and Michael helped Alex up.

"Okay now that everyone is safe and accounted for...What The Hell Just Happened!?" Maria yelled out, she'd been entirely to freaked early to say a word but now that she'd gotten her bearings back she was Completly freaked and about to start ranting.

With reddened cheeks and down cast eyes Liz tried to explain, "I am so sorry, this is completly my fault...I let my emotions get the best of me and started something that was not meant to happen." she let out a sigh and looked up to find Max staring at her concern darkening his eyes. "Ava wasn't your wife, or your Queen...I was..." she answered and then the moment became entirely to real for her to handle and Liz ran out of the apartment before the others could stop her. Max was about to chase her when Alex stepped in his way, "Let her go Max, she needs to reign in her emotions and come to a few decisions on her own." Max was about to argue, but let himself be ushered back to the couch, his eyes still locked in the direction in which Liz had fled.

"Maybe I can shed a little light on what just happened, but trust me your not going to like what you hear..." Alex motioned for the others to take a seat, this was definately not going to be easy, and he wasn't completly sure of all the facts himself. Leting out a breath he began to recount what Cal had told them of their past.

"From what we know there are five planets in our solar system, Antar is at the tip of th V formation and that's where Zan, Valonndra and Ciyan were from, then came Sardonia where, Rath, Lexi, Rina, and Sander came from,, Kathara was a nuetral territory Prince Larek should be king by now, followed by Sero where Melinia and Tristan were from and finally there's Corrino which is home to both Ava and Khivarr." Alex paused letting the last bit of information sink in, he wasn't surprised when Michael jumped in with a question.

"Hold the phone so that means that Ava and Khivarr are..." Micheal left his question dangling unable to wrap his mind around Tess's deception.

"Yeap they are siblings, but we'll get into that in a minute now as far as I know and mind you this is all coming word for word from our oh so generous protector, but the main problem happened when Zan and Lexi went against a century's old tradition and for went their betroathels to their respected suitors and married each other." Alex watched as Max's features fell with guilt, he'd seen the same expression on Liz's face when Cal had told them, only Cal wasn't as subtle in his fortelling. "Look Max don't beat yourself up about it, it was a different life and both of you were only guilty of falling in love, see marriages back on our homeworlds weren't really a celebration of love, but rather a political union used to force alliance and end fueding."

"That's horrible...how could our parents do that I mean force us to marry with out love, it just seems so cold and..." Isabel was unable to finish the thought but Alex was quick to end her statement

"And alien, yeah I know add to that they had every match completly off and you get the idea of the hidden sand traps in our past, but anyways as I was saying. Zan was originally intended to marry Ava, so when he married Lexi instead it sent shockwaves through the five planets especially Corrino. Khivarr who was looking for an excuse to set his devious plans to overthrow Antar's leadership into motion found his ace in the hole. Alexia was killed a month after being wed, she was carrying the royal heir and her death set into motion a war that not only claimed all our lives, but has ravaged our solar system and continues to reek havoc to this day."

Max felt his heart break as he heard Alex's version of their past, not only had he lost his wife but also an unborn child, it was like he was reliving each sickening moment over and over again, "Do you know who killed ALexia?" he managed to choke out through his own despair.

Saddened by the memory Alex found it hard to get through the next part, knowing that it would only serve to cause further pain, but keeping the others in the dark would serve no real justice, "No I'm sorry Max I don't. After Lexi's death, Ava tried to regain her role as Zan's fiance, Zan was so distraught that he'd locked himself away for months and when he returned to power he was changed...completly devoid of any emotion, his only concern was power. He agreed to marry Ava, but only when it was agreed that he'd have full control of Corrino's resources, Ciyan who was madly in love with Alexia and her intended mate, was horrified to learn that his brother had forsakened Lexi's memory and asked Serina to help him over turn Zan's rule." Once again Alex paused, this part in his tale was always the hardest to retell, "Serina was to wed Khivarr a fact that gave Khivarr access into royal affairs and a seat on the council, this was all the knowledge he needed to start the rebellion, he went to Zan in confidence, claiming he was only concerned with his high kings well being and Zan completly unaware of Khivarr's true nature or his hidden agenda accepted him into his concil. Both Serina and Ciyan were brought before the court on charges of treason, Rath and Valonndra begged Zan to be merciful but the Zan they had grown to love was dead, he died that same night that his wife and child were slayen. In a moment of complete insanity Zan put his own brother and his beloved's own sister to death. The act caused a rebellion to start, like wildfire every house was outraged and in the midst of the turmoil Khivarr took the opportunity to strike. He killed Rath and Valonndra on their wedding day in front of the entire court, after that the remaining royals were sent into hiding, but it wasn't long before Melinia, Tristan and Lisander were captured and killed. By the time Khivar attacked the Palace on Antar Zan was beyond consoling, he'd watched everyone he cared for systematically killed before his eyes and he was defeated even before Khivarr laid the deadly blow that ended his life."
Giving himself aswell as the others a moment to let all this information settle, Alex let out a shuddering breath, before continuing.

"It was Alexia's and Serina's combined vision that we'd all be reborn on a distant planet and they'd prepared a sample of all of our DNA for the journey. I'm not sure how Ava died, or who killed Lexi, but one thing is certain Alexia knew she was going to die, she'd envisioned it long before it happened and when we get our memories back only Liz will know who the real cause of this war is to be blamed on."

The room was bathed in solem silence after Alex's tale, none of them had ever envisioned such a tragic outcome, they knew they'd lived before but to hear the details of the treachory and the horror, made it hit closer to home. But none of them felt it more than Max, to think that some version of him had put his own brother to death seemed unthinkable, but there it was plain as day for all to see. He felt disgusted, "Um I think I need some time..." he blurted out, before walking out the door.

"Max?" Isabel called out after him, but he was already to far gone to even hear her. "How can all this be true?" Isabel whispered clutching onto Michael like a life line. Alex sat by an watched fighting the nagging jealousy that ripped into him, when he watched Isabel and Michael's familiarity, he quickly averted his eyes trying to calm his heart.

"So isn't it obvious Khivarr assinated Alexia, I mean he's the one that was power hungry right?" Maria interjected, she hadn't been hit as hard as the others not really identifying with the story on the same level, yet she couldn't deny the pain that pierced through her due to it.

Trying to distract himself from the scene playing out on the couch with his beloved Valonndra and his brother wrapped in each others arms, Alex instead found refuge in answering Maria's question, "No it couldn't have been Khivarr, atleast not personally, he was accounted for at the royal concil that night, plus Alexia was at the temple of Isis divining so only an attendant could've gotten close enough and all attendant were female..." His mind began to wander, he was suddenly reminded of Liz's vision, and fear gripped his heart. Unless they found the strength and faith within each other then history would repeat itself only this time the outcome would not only destroy their lives but an entire galaxy in it's wake. Alex shuddered and prayed for the strength to under go the trails that awaited them all...especially Liz and Max.

Chapter 5

Her lungs felt like they would burst from the exersion but she pressed on, and the faster she ran the less her heart ached. The world was now a blur of motion, each object melted into the next until everything was unified, until every piece fit perfectly into the next. If she'd had wings, she'd fly beyond the sky, above all the pain and regret to a place where she could be free of it all. But already her body fought against her will, and she gasped for breath as she tumbled to the ground, the grass felt moist an cool against her warm skin, and Liz let the damp ground ease her weight.

"I'm nothing but a coward..." she cursed herself, still gulping down breath after breath. When she'd regained enough of her composure to glance around, she realized she was currently kneeling in the middle of the park infront of the Crashdown. Secure enough in her surroundings, she laid on her back and stared up at the night sky, when she was younger she'd loved staring up at the stars, they always filled her was such wonder and possibility, yet now when she glanced up at them all they held was duty and betrayal.

In the midst of her anguish, she fought to retain a spec of hope that maybe this time fate would ride on her sails, that she'd be strong enough to prevent the tragedies that befell her loved ones so long ago. And as she vowed to find the power needed to accomplish such a task, an image flashed behind her lashes, "Max..." she breathed out. Fate seemed to have a cruel sense of humor, even before she'd known who he was, she'd felt the overwhelming desire that seemed to be a given between them. Their love had caused so much pain and death, how could she even fathom allowing herself to hope for even a second that they'd be free to love in this life, when the last had ended so horribly.

"Come on Parker, don't even go there...plus Max is probably with Tess in this life so there isn't even a reason to hope..." she berated herself, still letting her eyes linger on the clear Roswell night. California was too poluted to enjoy the night, but the atmosphere in Roswell was perfect, and without even trying she caught sight of of Aires one of the few constellations that could be seen both from Earth and Antar, and became nostalgic for a life she'd once lived.

Memories flowed freely, as faces from her past danced among the stars, she watched her brothers grappel in the courtyard of the Sardonia Palace, she saw her sister twirling around in circles her hands setting into motion the petals of Sarmosa blossoms as she spun creating a whirlwind of pink flowers, and she saw her beloved Zan beaming with happiness on their wedding day. Cursed memories that plagued her heart, seemed a cruel joke that she should relive these precious moments in time, only to realize that she'd neve have them again.

Completly enthralled in the magic the visions played upon her senses, Liz missed Max's approach. He hadn't planned on following her, but after hearing Alex's history lesson, he just needed an escape. He'd spent the entire time lost in thought, simply letting his feet guide his body, but as he reached the park he'd felt her presence. Now as he watched the emotions trip across her face, he was hesistant to disturb her, but he couldn't turn away. It was like he was drawn to her, and powerless to deny his heart her presence.

His footsteps broke her spell, and Liz sat up abruptly her eyes latching on to his dishelved appearance, Alex must've told them, she imagined. Though she wasn't sure if she was ready to handle this situation, one look into his wounded eyes and she was unable to turn him away. "Hey Max..." she softly greeted patting the ground at her side as an invitaion.

That was all the reassurance he needed, Max took a seat at her side and both laid back staring up at the night sky. "Liz...I'm...I guess I just..."[/i his words betrayed him, he wanted to apologize to her, to swear his love, to vow that he'd spend the rest of his life making it up to her, but instead all he could say was "Sorry..."

The tears slowly slipped down her cheek, it was insufferable to be born with the past mistake weighing so heavily on innocent shoulders, but that was the curse of their birthright. They would each be forced to relive their previous mistakes, and the innocence of this life would be lost forever, but for now she'd fight to hang on to this shred of ignorance. Wiping away a few straggling tears, she turned on her side to face him, he really was beautiful, every part perfection and she knew at that moment she'd never be able to let him go. "Listen Max, I've had a much longer time to deal with the knowledge of our past, and the one thing that I've learnt is this, we aren't them, we might have a piece of them within us, but your Max Evans not King Zan and I'm Liz Parker not Queen Alexia, don't confuse the two or you'll drive yourself mad." She pointed a finger and tapped his chest right above his heart, "Your heart is your heart and your soul is your soul, no one can govern your decisions, live this life and only this life, if you begin crossing the past with the present you will end up running around in circles and you'll miss out on all the wonders this life has to offer...Remember Max we make our own Destiny" She beamed a geniune smile at him, and found herself giddy when he returned her smile.

Liz was like the first rain after months of draught, her every fiber seemed to calm him. Only moments ago it felt like he'd drown in his own torment, but baskening in her soothing essence, all he felt was peace. Max swore at that moment that he'd never again allow any harm to come to her, he'd sacrifice his very life to accomplish it. Rising himself on his elbows he stared into the obsidian depths of her eyes, they held so much passion and spirit, it was like god had given is soul wings to fly and he was racing the very wind. Leaning in closer his eyes were drawn to the pink petals of her mouth, they glistened in the moonlight and Max couldn't help but licks his lips in return. At the moment all he wanted was to taste their soft supple texture and nothing on earth could prevent his endevor, he was only inches away from his target. Her breath was warm and sweet as it lapped at his skin, setting an ache to burn deep in his core, an ache that only her mouth could quench, and with one final dip he brushed his lips over hers, softly at first but when he felt her lips slightly part and a moan escape her, he took it as all the invitation he needed and pushed down forcefully taking her mouth with desperate need.

Lips burning against each other, Liz granted his eager tongue acess into her and felt the heat of the moment sear her straight down to the bone. With a soft moan she let him taste her, loving the complete abandone that only his kiss provoked. She let him lay her down as he leaned over her, his hands framing her face as he held her in place for his minstrations. His lips trailed searing kiss along her jawline and down the dip of her neck, till he found the tender flesh just above her pulse and when he sucked forcefully she let out a whimper, "Max...", he was setting a slow burn in her middle that threatened to set her body on fire, wrapping her arms around his neck she pulled him flush atop of her. Thrilling herself with the weight of his body crushing over hers, she took advantage of this and began her path down his cheek nipping and sucking til she reached the shell of his ear, and there she set to work lapping and licking. His breathless sighs egged her on and she forcefully sucked on his earlobe till he let out gutural moan.

The moment seemed to be charged with a primative energy as they both became drunk with every taste and smell, always searching for deeper connection, an unknown desire that begged to be satisfied They were slowly reaching a percipice, their bodies begging to be joined together instinctually. If not for the sound of a car horn blaring in the distance that jerked them apart, they would've been lost in the throws of passion, unaware of just how far gone the situation had been.

Oxygen starved lungs pulled in ragged gulps of air, as the two young lovers broke apart, their eyes still locked on each other. Max let his hand glide through Liz's hair, marveling in it's silky sheen. Now that he'd given into temptation, he was addicted to her taste, her smell, in his eyes their was only Liz and his heart was already branded by her touch.

Pulling away Liz let the final vestiges of desire fall away, she'd been adment in her decision to stay as far away from this perdicament as possible, but her heart would not be denied and in it's selfish battle, she'd surredered herself to his touch. No man, would ever claim her heart or body, now that she'd felt the burn of his touch, only Max could induce such yearning, and only he could saite her desire.

"Do you have any idea how long I've waited to feel the warmth of your soul once again?" Max asked still letting his fingers linger in softeness of her chocolate tresses.

Cocking her head to the side mischiviously, Liz threw him a smirk, "Well considering you weren't even aware of my existence till a few days ago, I'm sure it wasn't to long of await." she teased lightheartedly.

"Oh no Liz Parker, I might not've known about you consciously, but my heart was calling to you since before I can remember, I have always been waiting for you, I just never knew it." he answered as a finger gently traced the contours of her face. She was exquisite, the perfect combination of innocence and seduction, their was no doubt in his mind that she was the missing piece that completed his soul. He'd been searching for her since he emerged, his heart always crying out for her, but never recieving an answer, not until two days ago when he'd felt her step into the Cafe. That day marked the begining of his life, he just didn't know it yet, and now that he knew for sure his heart would never relinquish it's hold on her.

Liz stood and gave Max a warm smile and a promise to see him tommorow with that she turned to go, scurrying away before he spoke. She was afraid if he'd ask her to stay she'd be unable to turn him down. Max watched his head still foggy from the kiss, as Liz ran home, he knew he'd have to face the others soon enough but for the moment he just wanted to revel in the afterthoughts of the kiss. So he let himself lay back on the cool moist earth, in his mind he replayed every luscious moment.

*****************************

BEEP BEEP BEEP.... "Arghhh!" Liz groaned as she attempted to silence her alarm. When attempts failed she used alittle alien mojo to quiet the annoying blaring, glancing at the clock she cursed the fates again she was apperantly running late. "Damn it!"

"Liz honey are you up?" her mother's voice filtered in through the door.

"Yeah mom Im up..." she answered still cursing under her breath as swung her legs over the edge of the bed and let out a cat like stretch.

"Alright honey, but if you plan on eating breakfast you need to get a move on..." once again her mother's voice rang in.

Shaking her head in mild aggrivation she simply aggreed and went to the bathroom to start her morning regiment. Staring at her reflection in the mirror, she was about to make the final adjustments to her ensemble when she was hit with a powerful premonition.

Hatred an immesurable amount of hatred slammed into her, when she turned to the source she watched helpless as her body was flung across what appeared to be a cavern of sorts. Over and over she was bombarded with blasts, when she glanced around she saw a couple of scattered bodies around her but was unable to make out their identities.

"YOU STUPID BITCH!" a venemous voice boomed in her ears, "HE WAS DESTINED TO BE MY KING AND ONCE AGAIN YOU'VE RUINED EVERYTHING...!!!" As she turned to see who her assiliant was all that she was able to make out was a whisp of blonde hair and steely cold blue eyes, before her world went black, and she let out ear-screeching howl...

The vision ended and Liz was flung back to reality, her head was throbbing and her heart felt like it would explode. Trying to calm her panic, she took in one soothing breathe after another. When she'd regained enough of her composure to stand, she heard a knock at the door. "I'll be right there?" she called out meakishly.

"Lexi let me in..." Alex knocked concerned by the sudden change in his sisters emotions.

When he walked in, he knew automatically that she'd had a vision by her dishelved appearance and wrapped her in his arms for support. Through the years her premonitions had played havoc on her sanity. They always seemed more a curse than a gift to him, especially when they were younger. Alex could recall countless nights when Liz would awaken screaming and hysterical over one of her premonitions. She'd watch helplessly as loved ones would suffer or even worse die, in her visions but, was always powerless to prevent the calmity that awaited them. Alex knew it was irrational to believe that a child no more than 7 could take on the blame and guilt for events that she held no responsibility in creating, but even at the tender age of 7 Liz always took the blame directly on her tiny shoulders. Alex despised this power simply for the effect it had on his sister, "What did you see Lex?" he asked timidly.

Like she did a hundred times since her childhood, Liz latched on to Alex, he was her safety net, and she knew no matter what she saw in these premonitions, he'd always be there to catch her. Taking in a few more calming breathes Liz began to recount the details in her vision, "...I'm not sure how long we have, but I am pretty sure it wont take place for atleast a couple to month maybe even a year, my hair seemed longer in the flash, and the location is no where I have ever been before..." she thought carefully making sure not to miss a detail and when she was finally satisfied, she let got of a shaky breathe she wasn't aware she'd been holding.

Alex ran a hand through her hair offering what little console he could, "Do you think it was Tess in the vision?" He'd instantly thought of the blonde when Liz mentioned her assailant in the flash, and when Liz nodded that was all the proof he needed. Rage began to boil inside of him, churning through his body leaving trails of yellow electricity skimming over the surface of his skin as he thought back on the vision, he'd be damned before he let that blonde tramnp harm one hair on Liz's head.

Sensing his anger Liz tried to abait the situation, "Alex relaxe we can't let on that we have any misgivings about her, I need Ava to show her true colors in order to pass judgement, and you know that..." she glanced up at him and when he nodded she relaxed.

"Still Lexi promise you wont do anything stupid, I know how you don't back down from confrontaions and Ava will be the first to provoke you into a battle, so promise you wont go all gun ho on me..." he watched as his sister's gaze fell to the floor and she hesistated to answer, "Liz promise me..." he asked again this time receiving a half ass nod, but with Liz that was as good as it was going to get so he took it. "Alright lets go before we're late and Mom has a meltdown.."

We make it only seconds before the first bell rings and I find my self making a mad dash down the hall, dodging kids left and right. I almost make it to my destination, but before I can get my hands on the door I feel myself being pulled back suddenly. "What the..." a hand clamps over my mouth as I'm forcefully pulled into the eraserroom. I can feel my energy spiking, my powers readying themselves for battle, and I try and control them before I cause a scene.

Once the door shut behind her, Liz pushed herself out of her abducters arms, and turned to confront him/her. The sight that awaited her was one she wasn't really prepared for, "Max?! have you lost your damn mind..." she growled out and began pummeling him with punches. "I could've really hurt you, you big jerk...don't ever scare me like that!" she continued her berating, but it was short lived since Max had caught both her hands in his and pulled her in to a breathtaking kiss. She fought only for a second, and then melted into his desire, he was desperate in his pursuit and his kiss was an affirmation of his need. When they pulled apart Liz was still too dazed to respond all she managed out was a whimper that sounded like his name.

Max wasn't sure what he was thinking or why he'd gone to such drastic lengths, but he felt an uncontrollable need well up inside him to posses her, from the moment he set foot in school that was the only thought that permiated through his mind. Waiting for her to arrive only seemed to egg him on. Then add that to Tess's incessive nagging and he was nearly crawling out of his skin, he'd almost given up when the first bell sounded, but then he caught a glimpse of his angel rushing past him. And those feelings rushed back over him and before he could stop himself he'd abducted her, dragging her into the eraser room against her will. She was staring at him now, still silent from the kiss, and he had a very small window of opportunity to get out of this, he knew and so did she.

"I really needed to do that." he told her as he threw her his most brilliant patented Evan's half smile, and let out a breath when she smiled back.

Despite her previous anger, Liz couldn't deny that she needed that kiss just as much as he did, "Well Mr. Evans I am glad I can be of service, but next time how about we try and keep the abductions to a minimum, I mean I know we're aliens and all but lets not fall into that cornball category." she teased him and made her way to the door. Glancing back over her shoulder she winked at him before walking out.

The rest of the school day came and went with no further surprise, Liz recieved her fair share of death glares from Tess, but tried to ignore them, and each time Tess attempted to break into her mind she simply shoved her out sending a menacing promise to do alot more than mental shoving if Tess continued her tyraid. That atleast saved her from further attempts for the day, but Liz knew it was only a matter of time before things with Tess really exploded. She only hoped that before that happened she found the granolith and her sister, 'Where are you Rina?' she questioned silently.

As her mind was about to wander she felt her big brother's presence walk up behind her, "Hey Michael." she greeted without turning around and stiffled a laugh when she felt him jump.

"Hey...um I was just wondering if..." she turned to find an awkward Michael trying his hardest not to meet her sights, "Um...if your not busy maybe we could hang out...I mean if you want..." he finally choked out and then scratched his eyebrow anxiously. Michael always longed for a family, though Max and Isabel were as close as any real blood relative, he couldn't help but long for that connnection that only a sibling could offer. And now he had two a younger sister and brother, he'd discussed it with Maria last night, and she'd encouraged him to make an effort to get to know the Parkers, so here he was feeling like a studdaring fool.

"Sure that's cool how about we go for a ride after school, I couldn't help but notice your bike ..." she smiled up, his nervousness was rolling off him in waves and it was one of his most endearing qualities. In many ways her big brother for all his gruff and prickly exterior was no more than a small boy nervous and insecure at heart. Liz smiled brightly when he nodded they both walked towards the exit.

Speeding down the old highway off, of route 265, Liz was simply enjoying the feel of the wind against her skin. She couldn't deny how much she loved riding, but both her parents and Alex always forbade her from riding one. Ofcourse back in Cali she'd snuck out enough times with Jaime to get her weekly fix, and now she had Michael to fill that void. Michael suddenly turned off into the desert, the jerky movements of the bike had her gripping onto her brother for dear life.

"Hold on Parker." he called out over his shoulder as he easily manuvered the bike over sand and stone.

20 minutes later she felt the bike slow dramatically and then come to a halt, when she glanced around she found that they were approaching a large rock formation, and she began to feel a low hum in the back of her mind. It was barely noticeable at first but as they got closer, the buzz increased, til it was pulling at her energy. She shook her head in confusion and was about to ask Michael when he beat her to the punchline.

"That's the cave where are pods were hidden after the crash." he casually informed as he parked the bike.

Michael waited for Liz to climb out before he followed suit, when he chanced a glance at his sister he was a bit concerned by the glazed look of her eyes. She appeared to be walking forward in some kind of a trance, and when Michael reached out a hand to her it seemed to break the spell and she looked up at him surprised.

"Don't you feel that?" she asked. When Michael simply shrugged his shoulder, she realized that none of them were aware of what was really hidden behind all the jagged stone. Perhaps they were blocked for a reason, maybe it was determined it would be safer for all them, to keep that bit of information hidden, but then why was she able to feel it. Liz simply stared at the formation confused and anxious at the possibilities.

He'd spent a few minutes staring at Liz, she seemed to be mentally arguing a point, but as he watched her another thought bounced through his mind. What exactly was Liz feeling and why wasn't he able to feel it, he scratched his eyebrow and decided to move ahead. Maybe once they were inside the pod chamber he'd get his answers.

"Come on..." he urged her forward taking hold of her hand.

They quickly made there way over to the chambers entrance, and when Michael waved his had over the smooth surface of rock and the familiar blue handprint appeared Liz felt her pulse quicken. Something life altering was about to take place and she couldn't deny that she was scared but she was also thrilled, giddy even. The rock creaked to the side and she followed her brother into the cave. There was a pale green glow that the pods eminated and once the wall slid closed behind them it bathed the entire chamber in an irry greenish light. Liz couldn't help but feel nostalgic as she stood transfixed staring tha the pods, a memory flashed through her mind of a long ago moment in time and a small chocalate haired girl weeping infront of the remains of a withered pod.

Though Michael had been to the podchamber a dozen times or more it still left him with a feeling of awe when his eyes fell on his pod. For all accounts this was his mother, he let his hand skim over the surface of the pod and the glow brightened in recognition. He turned to find Liz carefully inspecting the pods aswell when her hand skimmed the pod directly above his he was surprised to watch it glow, but soon realization dawned on him, "That's Maxwell's pod..." he told her.

Even before Michael informed her of the pod's owner she knew it was his, she recieved a flash as soon as her fingers grazed the surface, a small dark haired boy breaking free from the mucus filled pod. "I know..." she wispered. Then her sight landed on the pod to her left, and with disgust she drew her hand back, 'Ava's pod was obviously placed next to Zan's' she let out a disgusted breath.

Michael didn't miss the change in Liz's attitude as she surveyed Tess's pod, "We didn't even know who she was..." he commented and paused until he was sure she was paying attention. "She didn't come out of the pods with the three of us, and by the time she did emerge we were long gone and Nacedo was here instead."

Something just didn't feel right about the entire scenario, Liz wasn't sure what it was yet, but it definately had Tess's name writtn all over it. When she knelt down to get a closer look at Michael's pod, the incessive hum in the back of her mind was suddenly blaring all around her. Liz began to wobble and would've fallen on her butt if it wasn't for Michael's arm around her shoulder. "Whoa there cowboy, you allright?" she noticed the concerned undertones in his voice.

"Yeah sorry about that, Micahel you really don't feel it do you?" she asked her frustration growning when he shook his head. What the hell was going on, she questioned herself.

Then to his surprise, with a sudden jerk, Michael was surrounded by the hum of power, it was deafing and almost painful, but when Liz placed her hand gently on his arm the blarring let up and Michael took in a steadying breath in.

"You feel it now dont you..." Liz asked this time she was relieved when he nodded and stared wide eyed in anticipation at her.

Liz could feel his confusion, he was waiting for her to give him an answer, but in all honesty she needed anwers herself. In an attempt to steady herself she leaned on Michael's pod and fell straight through. "Argghh!" she cried out as she tumbled backwards, she could barely make out Michael's voice in the background, her attention was placed entirely on the black inverted cone in the middle of this hidden chamber.

"Liz what the hell, are you..." Michael's words died in his mouth as he took in the sight before him. The room itself was tiny compared to the pod chamber but it was dramatic, the room was seemless and made of a metalic looking substances. But perhaps what jumped out the most was the giant cone placed in the middle of the room. Michael whistled as he walked around the strange object, it was literally amazing the cone seemed to be floating in mid air and as he approached it purple swirls of light danced on its surface.

"Is this..." before he could ask Liz was already nodding her head. She crept cautiously towards it, mesmerized by the patterns of purple lights that swirled wildly all over it's surface, she had the sudden urge to run her fingers over its smooth surface. With her hand outstretched she timidly reached for it, vaguely she heard Michael scream her name but he was a second to late and her hand made contact. The surface was cool to the touch but heated almost instantly, and when Michael's hand slammed into the cone they were both flung forward into it's depths.

A purple glow surrounded the pair as an ambigious voice whispered around them. At first the words were jibberesh and mangled but slowly they became coherent, "You are the chosen, born of pure blood, born of myself. I am the alpha and the omega, I was here before the dawn of time and I shall remain when the world shrivels to ash and dies. Step forward son and daughter of Sardonian blood" The voice boomed in their ears, and hand in hand Micheal and Liz stepped forward, "Rathos and Alexia my children, my guardians reunite the royals and help bring peace to the ravaged. The road ahead of you is littered with hardship but if you stand together all will be redeemed." A purple light shot through Michael's body encasing him in a cacoon compossed of pure brilliant energy, at the same time an aquamarine light shot through Liz's body encasing her in her own cacoon, "Let the symbol of power etch itself upon you both so that all will know when the time has come that you are my chosen..." The Sardonian crest etched itself onto his chest aswell as onto Liz's wrist, "Let my power surge through your veins once again my annointed four-square...you shall be my hand as I extract my vengence and bring forth a golden era of peace.." similtaneaously both Liz and Michael fell to one knee as the glow from their cacoons intensified, and their bodies were satuarated with the granolith's essence, and finally they felt whole atlast. Regaining their birthright, which had so mercilessly been ripped away more than 60 years ago. "You have been given a great privaledge but also a terrible burden, my chosens, trust in yourselvs and in your fellow guardians the four-square is once again reborn, may it prosper and flourish for the sake of all life..." Slowly they were released and the lights surrounding them began to fade, but their bodies still seemed to glowing of their own regard, while the guardians slept peacefully the words of the granolith echoed around them. "Et tresme Cantuit el visage due entres une, me alto Supliques tian Zennith." (In the midst of great tragedy two will become one and the Zennith shall be awakened once more..)

Liz and Michael were both transported back to the pod chamber, content in their secure slumber, two siblings were unaware of the consequences that their actions were about to set forth, or the dramatic turn that their lives were about to take.

**************************

"What the hell!" Alex cried out in pain, as he ran to the bathroom, his chest burned as if he was being branded with tempered steel, and when he ripped his shirt open his mouth gawked at the sight before him. Right about his heart on his chest the family crest shown brightly, and Alex finally understood why he'd felt anxious all day long.

"It has begun..." he whispered under his breath as his fingers lightly traced the Sardonian Crest.

**************************

In two seperate locations in the heart of The Big Apple, two more guardians awoke from fitful slumber screaming in pain. The girl was the embodiment of strength, cleverly disguised in a tiny package, while the boy was the true guardian's back up copy, but that is where the similarities ended. He was perhaps the negative of his predecessors character, full of wrath and rage.

A small apartment located in Brooklyn's grimmiest part of town, a trio of hybrids sat discussing the new turn of events, they'd always known this day would come, but none of them were prepared for confrontation that was close at hand. One of them was way beyond trepidation, his betrayal was a wound so deep that not even two lifetimes was able to dull. Serina met the eyes of her family, and found them burning with the same intensity and courage she prided herself on.

"We leave for Cali tonight and if Cal wont answer then we'll make'im let's blaze." Serina called out getting both Tristans and Ciyan's attention.

"What's up Rina?" Ciyan questioned.

Serina lifted her wrist and the others fell silent, they were running on borrowed time, things would progress quickly from this point on, and they needed to take full advantage of every single moment.

*************************************

In the hidden depths of Manhattan sewer's another set of podlings gathered, "Yo Rath what's the deal?" Zan called out as Rath tore threw their crib.

"Dis what's up Duke..." he ripped his shirt off and showed the others his chest.

"Finally da Granolith's been activated we's got a ride home..." Lonnie announced giddy with anticipation, only Ava and Zan understood the true meaning behind that symbol and both gave each other cautious glances.

"Yo Lonnie chill, we's not even sure where those royal's are stationed, so ders no need to flip." Zan tried to difuse the situation but the wild eyed gleam in his sister's and second's eyes told him to hold his breathe.

"Deys in Roswell, Alien Capital USA...so lets ride little brother and get the hell outa dis backwater planet." Lonnie wrapped an arm around her brother and the group headed out in search of wheels for the trip.

And with that the final players in this game headed out, their destination Roswell, New Mexico, and the final chapter of this game would soon be played out. Little did the royals know just how fragile their charades had become, or just how dangerous thier lives would soon get.

****************************

A lone figure sat bathed in darkness, a malicious smile spread over his lips as he silently digested the latest intel. Finally the royal brats had set off the granolith, he'd waited patiently for its awakening.

"Lord Khivar we have just recieved conformation, the signal was sent from a small trade planet in sector alpha13..." the guard informed and stood silent waiting for his orders.

Khivar's smile broadened finally he'd get his revenge, finally he'd have the power of the gods and the lovely Alexia at his side where she belonged. "Make the needed preparations, we depart for earth before the next cycle." he ordered his voice comanding and cold as steel.

"Yes Sir." with his orders intact the guard bowed and left.

'Just you wait Zan, this time your demise will be eternal, and before you die I shall make you watch those you care for most die before your eyes once again...' Khivar let his eyes roam the vast expanse of space before him, 'Soon Zan soon...'

Alright Guys, things are going to star moving quickly as the Royal Court is reunited, let me know if things get confusing.... 8) 8)

Chapter 6[

Hidden safely within the confines of the pod chamber two siblings slept peacefully, unaware of the chaos that was erupting all around them, slowly the petite brunette began to stir. Her movements were slugish at best and as she tried to sit up she let out a groan and placed her palms to the sides of her head. She slowly began to piece together the afternoon's events when the movement to her left caught her attention.

Michael's eyes popped open as if on command, his sights immediately locked on Liz and the events in the granolith chamber played out in both their minds. A rapid succesion of information flooded them and both siblings took a sharp breath and blinked wildly trying to regain their balance.

"Are you okay Lexi?" he asked concern lacing his words, he still wasn't sure what exactly had transpired in the granolith chamber but whatever they did had unlocked something deep inside him. And now when he looked upon the tiny brunette he didn't see Liz Parker estranged hybrid, but rather Alexia his kid sister.

Nodding her head Liz tried once again to rise only to find her world spinning she would've fallen for certain if not for a strong pair of arms that easily caught her. "Thanks..." she mumbled as he brought them both down gently to the ground.

"Do you understand any of what just happened?" Michael asked her.

Trying to get her thoughts in order Liz paused a second before answering, "We've awakened the granolith Michael, and by doing so it's guardians have also been awakened."

"So who exactly are the guardians?" he had an idea but needed to hear it from her lips.

"We are...the heirs of Sardonian blood..." Liz pushed up to her feet and this time was able to stand her ground, "The four siblings of royal blood, Alexia, Lissander, Rathos, and Serina..." Liz began to pace the small inclosure of the chamber, her anxiety reaching astonding levels, even Michael jerked as he was flooded with her emotions. He tried to offer her a simple solace but she quickly put an end to that, "Don't you get it Michael, don't you realize what we've done...what we've so ignorantly set into motion...every single alien on this planet and on distant ones aswell surely felt the pulse of energy. We have sent of a beacon altering all our enemies of our exact location!" she spat out unconsciously her anger directed solely on herself.

As if slapped in the face, the realization of danger hit Michael and he to jumped into action, "Come on we need to go gather the others." not waiting for a response he began to make his way out of the chamber certain that Liz was close behind.

Both were jogging and made surprisingly good time by the time they made it to the bike, and seconds later they were speeding down the highway on thier way back to the Crashdown.

When they both walked through the glass doors of the Crashdown, they were assaulted by the group, both Alex and Max were furious and made that point blatantly clear.

"Where the hell have you two been?!" Max growled, Alex adding his own two cents in right on his heals, "DO you both even care what we've been through, we thought something happened to you both...and mom and dad, GOD what could've possesed you two!?"

Now even though both Michael and Liz did feel ashamed for worrying them, this extreme guilt trip was alittle much, "Look sorry we didn't call, but we're only a few hours late, so back off." Liz announced finally fed up with thier ranting. She wasn't prepared for the complete dumbfounded expressions that rolled through the gang.

"Are you joking, you guys have been gone for an entire day..." Alex wasn't sure if to believe their declaration, but one look at the pale color to Liz's skin and Michael's wide eyes he knew they weren't playind dumb, they really had no idea. "What...what happened to you two?" he managed out a horce whisper.

"I think we should continue this converstaion up in my room..."Liz offered.

Everyone gathered casually around her room, and after a few words to her parents letting them know she was home, Liz shuffled into the room. All eyes were on her, and she knew that Michael wasn't going be any help so she started. "Okay see it's like this..." for the next hour Liz tried her best to explain yesterday events. Answering the questions she was thrown as best she could, and Michael added a detail every so often when he could. "...so basically we've set off a series of events that could possibly lead our enemies directly to us...sorry." she couldn't deny the guilt that ran rampant through her and she let her eyes fall to the ground in defeat.

Max sensing her inner turmoil reached out and brought her safely into his embrace, "Liz no one is blaming you, and from what you've told us this was supposed to happen, and on the brightside the others will also be arriving soon...so we take the good with the bad right?" he lifted her chin up to meet his gaze, and when she forced a timid smile he pulled her gently ini]to his arms. All he ever wanted to do was keep her safe and at his side, he would fight the heavens themselves if it meant her safety.

Uncomfortable with the way Max was gushing all over Liz, Michael spoke up interupting their soulful moment, "Listen I think maybe we should all go home and get some rest, we can meet up tomorrow at my place, how does 3 pm sound to everyone?" Michael waited for everyone to nod before continuing, "Alright so I guess we meet up tomorrow and prepare for whoever is bound to show up..." Michael began to walk towards Liz's door when he was stopped mid stride by soft cry.

"Rath wait please..." Liz felt an overwhelming sense of dread as she watched Michael head out, and before she knew it she was calling out to him and running to his side.

Confused Michael stared into her big doe eyes and felt his heart constrict, she was terrified suddenly and he wasn't sure why, "What's wrong Lexi?" he asked carefully brushing a rebelious strand of hair away from her face.

"Please I know this seems really irrational but can you stay here tonight, I just have this really bad feeling I wont see you again if you walk out that door..." Liz pleaded as fear griped her heart.

"Liz I promise you'll see me tomorrow, nothing is going to happen to me..." he tried to reassure her but her fear only doubled with every word, finally giving up he decided to give her peace of mind and camped out in Alex's room. When she beamed a grateful smile at him and hugged him, it all seemed worth it so Michael gave her a small kiss on the top of her head and headed over to Alex's room.

The others were still staring in disbelief after witnessing the scene that played out before them, Michael stonewall Guerin was completly wrapped around Liz's little finger. Maria gave him a knowing smirk which he waved away, then she walked over to Liz, she couldn't explain the bond she felt to this hybrid, but from the moment she heard Liz was missing something in her heart broke. She embraced the small brunette, "I'm glad your okay Parker, but don't you ever scare me like that again, comprende?"

"Yes...sorry about that, Maria thank you for everything you did, and thank you for capturing my brutish brother's heart..." Liz told her sincerely as she hugged the fiery blonde back.

Isabel was next to draw her into a hug, and teased her about her obvious control she had over Michael before she headed out after Maria. Now only Max was left he carefully made his way over to her, when their eyes met a warm current shot through him. He let his smile linger on his lips before he brought them down softly over hers. The kiss was slow and gentle, briming over with unspoken love. When he pulled back he watched her eyes slowly open and became lost in there deep brown depths once again.

Flash...

The moonlight cascaded over gardens, bathing the foliage in a silvery glow, everywhere she turned the gentle smell of Crysamthiam blossoms acosted her sense. Raising her hands to the heavens she twirled letting her crimson gown billow in the wind, and though she tried to maintain her composure. She was a princess and behaivor like this was considered vulgar, she really couldn't restrain herself. Glancing around she made sure she was alone, then slipping of her sandles she trampsed through the gardens, throwing her head back with laughter as she raced around her sanctuary. So lost in her endeavor she completly missed as someone approached, until it was to late.

"You know m'lady if your brother caught you dancing around wildly like somekind of woodland sprite he'd be very disappointed with you..." A smooth deep voice called out from behind her, and Lexi nearly gasped in surprise. She turned to find the familiar amber eyes gazing back at her, and her body shivered with desire.

"Well then Zan perhaps this will be our little secret." she teased through lowered lashes, thrilling when she saw his eyes darken. He pulled her forcefully into his arms and kissed her with wild abandon, igniting them both with fiery passion.

Though her mind was screaming for her to pull away her body betrayed her, as she molded her body firmly against his, thrilling when he growled and pulled her flush against him. Fighting with every rational thought, Alexia finally pulled away, from her lovers arms, "Zan we can't do this, I'm...I'm betrothed to your brother and..." before she could finish Zan silenced her with another soul searing kiss. This time when he pulled back, he smiled at her dazed expression.

"Lexi I love you, and I know you love me, I will speak to Ciyan and my father, I know they will listen to reason..." he tried to assure her, but felt his heart constrain as tears slid down her smooth cheek. "What love please talk to me, what causes you so much pain..." he asked wiping the tears gently away with his thumb.

"Zan this can't be, I'm sorry but you must marry Ava and I Ciyan it is our destiny and..."

"NO! I will never let you go you are MINE!" he growled interupting her excuses, as he forcefully claimed her lips again, this time he poured all his passion and love into the kiss. He nipped and kissed his way to her neck and the soft skin right below her ear, "...Mine...say it...."

Alexia whimpered as his kisses grew more possesive, "Yes...Zan only yours..." she cried out when he latched onto the supple skin right above her pulse and sucked. She moaned again, lost in the tempest passion he ignited within her soul, but she needed to pull away before things spiralled out of control. "Zan please we must stop..."

She didn't want to hurt this man who stood before her, he was her entire life, she would willingly give her life for him, but she knew what the outcome of their love would entail. Destruction and Death, that is what the future held for the royal court, yet even the knowledge of their fate couldn't dampen the desire she felt for him. Atleast for tonight let us just pretend that we are a normal couple, no birthrights, no politics and definately no DESTINY, Alexia silently prayed as she let herself fall into Zan's heedy embrace.

End Flash....

Max shook his head trying to clear his mind, the flash had left him feeling dazed and when he glanced down at Liz he knew she felt the same way, "Did you see that too?", when Liz nodded nodded, quickly pulled her into his arms and held her tightly, desperately trying to hold onto the moment.

"Yeah I guess we will be remembering more now that the granolith is active, once the others arrive we should be able to unlock our memories at the pod chamber, I just need to find the activation crystal and my pendant..." Liz paused when she saw the confused look etched on Max's features, "...um it's what I think is hidden with my pod, that's why I need to find where I was born." Liz nervously smiled up at him.

"Then we will make it our next priority..." Max assured her as he let his fingers curl around a strand of her silky hair, "...now you get some rest and I will see you tomorrow okay?" when she nodded and smiled up at him, he leaned in letting his lips lightly brush over hers ever so sweetly and then let his forehead rest on hers before pulling away reluctantly. "Goodnight Liz..."

"Goodnight Max."

Once the others left for the night and Alex and Michael were fast asleep in Alex's room, Liz silently crept out onto her balcony. Thoughts and memories raced through her mind ricochetting against each other till she felt she'd scream from sheer anxiety. Her eyes were once again drawn skyward, 'Please...please give me the strength to protect them, to protect them all...' Liz said a small prayer, unsure to who exactly she was asking for help, but feeling an overwhelming need to simply voice her desires. Soon the other's would arrive, soon she'd be reuinted not only with her sister, but with the man she was suppose to marry, the man she wronged in a way that could never be forgiven...Ciyan.

Flash...

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!" he yelled at her forcefully grabbing her by the shoulder's, his eyes were wild, full of a bitter pain that she'd never be able to forget. "I trusted you...I TRUSTED you Alexia...and you go off with..." At that moment the very sight of her was unbearable, pushed her away from him as if her presence was toxic.

Alexia watched horrified, tear's streaming down her cheeks, she'd never wanted to hurt Ciyan. Despite everything she loved him dearly, she just wasn't in love with him. The Gods were cruel, she'd tried everything in her power to love him, but she simply couldn't look at him as anything other than a brother, "Please Ciyan...please forgive me..." she sobbed miserably, when he turned to walk away, she made one final attempt to reach out to him, but when her hand reached the calf of his pants she was repelled by the sheer force of his anger.

"Dont. Touch. Me." his voice was mechanically calm and it sent shivers down her spine, when he turned to face her, all emotion was erased from his features, only a cold bitter indifference remained, and Alexia knew she'd lost him forever.

End of Flash...

Liz crumpled to the ground crying silently, she'd never felt that much pain and anger before, especially directed at her. 'Dear God, how will I face him', Liz continued to sob until exhaustion rolled over her, and she fell into a restless sleep.

Timelord31: Max and Ciyan have a long road ahead of them a before they can come to terms with each other but you'll just have to read and see how and if they heal...

Well here's the new Chpt Let me know what you guys think, I hope you guys like...

Chapter 7

The following morning progressed in much the same manner as those that came before it except that each prospective royal was lost in his or her own thoughts and practically oblivious to the world around them. Trouble was at this very moment speeding down highway 285 heading on a collision course for Roswell, the pod squad were blissfuly ignorant while the charade that was their normal peaceful existance, hung in the balance. At 3pm on the dot six teens gathered infront of Michael's front door, anxiously awaiting for the next shoe to drop. Michael opened the door and they all dredged in, each taking an empty seat around the livingroom.

Impatient as always Michael was the first to break the ice, "So what's next Maxwell?"

"Well since we've already found the granolith I guess the next logical step is to search for Liz and Alex's pods..." Max paused waiting for an arguement but when everyone remained silent, he continued, "...um Liz...Alex do you guys remember anything that could give us some kind of clue as to where they might be hidden?"

Both Liz and Alex stared at each other as if silently comminucating and deciding where to start, "Well, I remember the Mesaliko Reservation, and a cave of sorts, I-we think that there might be a hidden chamber within the cave that house our pods." Liz informed the others.

"The cave riverdog took us too...it has to be..." Michael blurted out he found the he was filled with excitement at the thought of finding yet another clue about their existence, so close at hand.

The others agreed and after they discussed car arrangements, everyone split up into two cars and they all headed out to the reservation.

"Um okay...so exactly who do we contact, and where do we start?" Maria rang in as soon as they were all gathered outside the cars.

Before anyone could field that question they heard the wisened voice of a familiar presence call out from their left, "I have been waiting patiently for you highness'..." Riverdog stepped forward and bowed respectfully towards Michael, Isable, and Max, then turning he set his sights on the Parker's, "...and I am more than thrilled to finally be reunited with the both of you." the old indian chief bowed respectfully once to Liz and next to Alex.

All at once Liz's mind was flooded with images:

.........Flash......

Liz breaking free from her pod, Alex helping her as she was released from the artificial womb
..........Flash.......

Riverdog leading both her and Alex away from the cave of their birth,
.........Flash......

The Parker's leaving the reservation Nancy holding onto to a crying Liz, while Jeff held a timid Alex.

.....End Flash...

Then just as abruptly Liz's mind snapped back to attention, a glance around showed her that both Alex and Micheal had recieved the same series of Flashes

~This is going to take some getting use to~ Michael pathed still dazed from the collective flashes.

~Trust me bro you'll get use to it...~ Liz answered and giggled when Michael jumped in surprise.

The others stared confused by the silence and then Michael's odd behaivior, Liz was about to explain when she realized who this indian before them was, "Riverdog it is good to see you again..." Liz laid her hand gently on his shoulder and motioned for the shifter to rise.

Alex also realized who the shifter was and extended his hand in greeting, "Good to see that you are well, I am sure you have met the others..." when Riverdog nodded and tipped his head to others Alex continued, "Riverdog it is important that we find our pods, Liz and Michael have awakened the granolith and I am sure you are aware of the danger we've placed ourselves in, we must retrive the crystal and pendant."

Riverdog met Liz's gaze, he was full of concern for his young charges, they had unknowingly set into motion events that would define their very destinies, and perhaps the greatest task befell the shoulder's of his young queen, "Highness I was aware of the awakening, being of Sardonian blood I am directly tied to the granolith, I have also been informed the rest of the Royal court are only miles away from Roswell heading on a collision course with you as we speak." Riverdog paused when he heard the group gasp.

"My sister is on her way here?" Liz asked her voice no louder than a whisper.

"Yes majesty, they met up with Kalnus recently and forced from him to divulge your location, but you must be aware of the danger which you place yourselves in upon reunitning the foursquare..."

"What are you talking about...What danger?" Max addressed Riverdog concerned with the new development.

"Majesty, Liz, Serina, Alex and Michael were seperated not by chance but by necessity, once reunited the foursquare's energy pattern cannot be cloaked, their power is to strong for our attempts at concealment." Riverdog informed his young king, and watched as the gears in his mind turned to find an answer.

Max let his eyes roam over the others, he was responsible for their safety, he'd never felt it stronger then at this moment, for all regards he was their leade, their King, and with all of the events falling into place he found himself falling into the role of king ease. Though he'd barely had a moment to catch his breathe these last couple of days, he was aware that one wrong decision and the lives of his friends and family could be put in jeopardy, "Alright Liz you and Alex search the cave, with Riverdog as your guide I am sure both of you should be able to locate the pods..." both Liz and Alex agreed and next Max turned to his sister and Michael, "...you two ride with me we'll head back to Michael's and figure out away to keep the town scoped out for any new arrivals, though I think we should focus on the Crashdown.."

"Why the Crashdown Max?" Liz asked worry lacing her words. Max gently placed his hand in her's while giving her reassuaring smile, "Don't worry I'll make sure to keep an eye on your parents, it's just that I have a feeling the Crashdown is the first place they'd look."

Alex agreed it seemed the logical choice, and more than likely that's exactly where Cal had sent his Serina, "Hey Max it's cool out mom and dad our out for the week, somekind of convention over in Clovis."

"Hey what about me, is the lowly human of no use?" Maria asked a bit annoyed, feeling she'd been left out on purpose.

"Um Maria don't you have a shift at the Crashdown tonight, plus you can cover for Liz and keep an eyeout, if this is Liz's twin she will most definately head their..." Max explained trying to difuse the situation and easily avoided Maria's rantings, "Okay so we meet back at Michael's later on tonight...Liz...?" Max led her slightly away from the others, "...if anything weird happens, anything at all you call me okay, please don't try and approach any of them on your own..."

Trying not to meet his gaze, Liz shifted from foot to foot, she wasn't sure if she'd be able to keep her distance, especially if she saw Rina, "....promise me Liz, Please..." when she nodded he lightly brushed his lips over hers thrilling in the warmth that spread through his body. When Liz leaned up and pressed her lips more fully onto his trying to deepen the kiss, his heart skipped a beat. He'd only kissed Liz a handful of times but each time only seemed deepen in intimacy causing burst of electricty to dance over his skin, reluctantly he let her go, but only after yet another taste of her sweet lips.

Soon both sets of teens were headed on their respective paths, and while Liz and Alex couldn't deny the sense of curiousity that permeated throught them the others at the thought of returning to the place of their birth, the others were less then thrilled with the idea of having more aliens arriving, reeking havoc on their fragile normal existance.

***************************

"Yo Zan dis the place?" Lonnie's aggrivated voice called out from the back seat of the beat up Camaro.

They'd pretty much driven straight through, not really needing sleep, it cut down on their trip time, but nearly two days stuck in the car had them all at each others throats, Zan nodded coasting the car to halt infront of some cheesy alien themed restaurant. They'd reached Roswell about 30 mins ago and then decided to checkout some dive called the Crashdown, it seemed the most obvious place to start.

"Are you serious?" Rath let out a caustic snort as he took in his surrounding, "...damn dis shit is straight outta mayberry our dupes gotta be completly cornball..."

"Yeah no doubt, these peeps must be mad cornball, we aint gonna fit like dis..." Lonnie passed a hand over her body, obviously their New York gear would stick out like a sour thumb out here in the suburbs.

The others agreed and with a wave of their hands quickly changed gear, opting for the prepy look they'd spoted on their way into town. Identical to their dupes they'd go unnoticed in town, and it'd serve them well as they dug around for clues.

"Look we keep low, split up and sees if yous can get a feel for our dupes..." Zan ordered signalingly each of them to headout in seperate directions, "...if yous run into one of them keep it casual, no need to trip up and give them the heads up...got it?"

"Yeah duke we's cool, now let's see what mayberry has to offer..." Rath smirked as he made a bee line for the UFO museum, and the other's quickly followed suite, each taking a different point of direction heading out into the night.

A few blocks away Zan and Ava met up, they weren't interested in reconnecting to the others, and they sure as hell had no intention of returning to Antar. Their one shot would be to get to the Roswell crew before Rath or Lonnie and find a way to warn their dupes. "We's needs to get to our dupes first Aves, Iz gots dis bad feeling dat shits goin't hit the fan..."

Ava's solemn gaze never left his as he spoke, afterwards they both watched their counterparts disappear, and hoped they'd be able to convince the cornballs they were both legit. She learned long ago just how depraved both Lonnie and Rath really were, their malice was a mute point that never ceased to amaze her. Though she and Zan were both a little rough around the edges they'd never really sunk to the deplorable levels that Lonnie and Rath seemed to thrive in. 'Maybe the scientists back home screwed up their dna cocktail' she silently mused.

"Hows bout wes try and get a lock on your dupes location, you should be the closest connection, wit da back up seal an all..." she told him and when Zan nodded they both set out to find the suburban king and his mayberry court.

*****************************

"Wow..." was all Alex could manage out, they'd both made quit a trek up to the cave with Riverdog leading the way, but once they'd reached the inner chamber and stood before the withered pods that housed them so many years ago, to many emotions bombarded him at all at once. Trying to process them was simply overwhelming so instead he just stood silently letting the moment play out in his mind. He could feel Liz at his side, her own fascination mirroring his own, he stole a sideways glance at her and wasn't surprised to find her eyes brimming with unshed tears.

'This was it...this was where it all began...' Liz couldn't deny the finality of the moment. She took a step forward marveling at the pods that had served as a mother's womb to her and her family. When she ran a hand over the nearest pod, she realized that it still recognized her as it glowed in response to her touch, it gave her a tingle of curiousity to know that even after all these years the design was ingenious the makeshift womb still capable of recognition. Her scientific mind was enthralled, yet when her eyes traveled to her right, she felt pain constrict around her heart, 'Melinia's pod...' she whispered and let her fingers graze its decayed surface.

Flash....

"Ah come on Lexi you know you want to..." her sing song voice carried through the empty hallway.

Alexia scrunched up her nose, not really finding the appeal in the whole situation, "Nia this is ridiculous, I dont see the point in this..." she asked once again staring at her friend with a mixture of curiosity and disdain.

Melinia rolled her eyes, it was no wonder her friend was always so stoic, she placed far to much thought in her actions, to simply just enjoy the moment. Catching her second wind she braced herself she used her powers to propell her forward on sock clad feet and then let her arms extended at her sides. The wind wooshed around her and for a brief moment it felt like she'd take flight, Melinia was unable to control the giggle that escaped her lips as she zoomed past Alexia. When she reached the otherside of the hallway she collapsed to the ground still giddy from the entire ordeal. "The Point is Lex to simply have fun..." she stared poignetly at her, "...you know fun..." she raised an eyebrow and waited for Alexia's response.

"Hey I can have fun..." Alexia assured before kicking off her sandles and dropping her latest novel to the ground a determined look in her eyes, she threw her friend a wayward smirk before she dashed to the other end of the hall, shrieking loudly the entire way. Once she reached the end of the hall where Melenia was still sprawled out on the floor, both girls were overcome by a fit of giggles and they both collapsed on each other feeling completly carefree, like giddy school children.

End Flash...

"I'm so sorry Nia, I wish things could've been different but I know your in a better place..." Liz somberly whispered a single tear streaking her cheek as she stared at her fallen friends final resting place.

"So what's next Lex?" Alex chimed in, he'd given her space to mourn Melinia but they really had no time to lose.

Wiping away the lone tear Liz gathered her thoughts before turning to her brother, "Well we look around, I know there is something here, I'm just not sure where...maybe..."Liz's hand went instinctively to her pod, and as it glowed in recognition she felt the distinct spike of power, pushing through the dried up membrane her fingers grazed cool metal, "...I think I've found something..."

Anxsiously waiting Alex watched as Liz's hand retrieved one piece of the hidden puzzel, "Is that?"

"Yeap my pendant..." she gleefuly informed before letting the oval charm dangle from her open palm. It was metalic looking with the Sardonian Crest etched upon it's sleek surface, and as Liz's fingers grazed it the stone seemed to come alive, glowing with luminescent blue power. "It recognizes me..." she whispered still enthralled with the feelings of nostalgia the pendant instilled in her heart.

"Yes highness it recognizes it's true owner, though I had hoped this reunion could've happened under happier circumstances, I am certain all of you will find the strength to surpass the trails that lie ahead." Riverdogs voice echoced from the mouth of the cave.

"I don't understand, what trails...exactly what aren't you telling us?" Alex's trepidation and confusion were starting to get the better of him, he was sick of all the cryptic mumbo jumbo.

Riverdog stepped into the cave, before his young charges, he couldn't help but feel pride at how they'd matured and grown into their roles with regal kindness and courage. [/i]"When all eight reunite, the time of understanding and forgiveness will be at hand, together they shall triumph, divided they will fall, when two kindred souls unite as one the Zennith will once again awaken, and then the five planets will bask in the glow of prosperity and fortune in the wake of her cleansing..."[/i]Riverdog explained the prophecy to the best of his knowledge, unfortunately only a handful of individuals knew the true meaning behind the prophecy and one of them was Alexis. Liz's eyes suddenly glazed over and if on cue she took up as soon as Riverdog had finished.

"One shall betray them, One shall seduce them and One shall die for them...When she awakens the light of the world shall once again shine upon all galaxies, or darkness shall reign under the fiery destruction or her pain...she is the begining or the end only when the final battle looms can the Zenith be transformed from two souls, one will rise that will hold the fates of worlds within the palms of her hands..." Suddenly Liz's eyes rolled back and she crumbled to the ground, Alex was at her side instantly craddling her in his arms and staring accusingly at Riverdog.

"What the Hell was that!?" he asked accusingly.

"Forgive me highness, but I'm not really sure, it seems to be another part of the prophecy, I'm not sure but I will take this matter up with the council, Alexia being a high Priestess of Isis was one of a select few that studied the ancient text regarding the Zennith and the prophecy, Liz has merly tired herself out while accessing memories from Alexia's past, she will be fine within a few hours..." Riverdog looked cautiously at his young charges once again wishing they'd be spared the pain that was eminent, shaking off his weary thoughts he cleared his mind. "Come we must leave now the others will be waiting..."

Alex stared at his sister slumbering safely in his arms, and couldn't stop the shiver that ran up his spine...'One shall betray...On shall seduce...and One shall die...' that was definately not an optimistic premonition....Alex was once again driffting in an out of the chaos of his thoughts, finding himself feeling an ever mounting sense of trepidation, as if sensing his turmoil Liz begain to tremble and Alex quickly wiped away his menacing thoughts. 'Not yet Lexi, rest for now we will have enough time to discuss these trails soon enough, but for now rest sis...' and just as quickly Liz eased back to sleep. Alex followed Riverdog out of the caves and soon they were speeding back to town, he couldn't fight the trepidation that lingered around his heart, as they rushed back to Roswell.

Hey guys this is going to be a small chpt cause I'm not sure when I will be able to post again for alittle while cause I have to prepare my portfolio for school this fall...but I promise to try and update atleast twice a week....Thanks for all the support.

Oh I've had some confusion with italics and how to structure first person dialogue so I hope this chptr is easier to understand.

Chapter 8...

On the road to Roswell....

They'd spent the greater part of the day on the road and by now everyone's mood was foul. Serina was plagued by constant visions from her previous life trying to resurface (A less than welcome side effect due to the granoliths awakening.). She'd barely uttered a single word for the past hour and Tris was beginning to get worried, though he did seem to spend most of the car ride arguing with Ciyan on every little detail...

"Yo can you two knock it off already!" She yelled from the back, and watched as two sets of eyes jerked in her direction, "Iz gots a shit load of memories bouncing around my brain and yous two irratating hybrids duking it out in the front the seat aint helpin...so just give a rest..YA HEARD!!"

"Aight Rina..." Tris conceded, her outburst only seemed to add on to his concern. Serina was always the calm and collected one out of the three of them, Tris knew an outburst so out of character meant things were starting to take their toll on her.

"Yo princess whats the plan...we gets to Mayberry and what just stroll up to the others and pick up where we left off...?" Ciyan caustically sneered, the prospect of running into his siblings was less then appealing, especially his older brother. He was sure this new Zan was as much of a spoiled bratt, as his predicessor and he was definately in no big hurry to reunite with them.

Trying to ease the pounding in her head Serina let her walls down and momentarily, she instantly felt the call of her siblings each of their life force so intricately different yet each was so incredibly familiar she would've sworn the call was a normal part of everday life. Sheilding her mind once more, she let her eyes wander over to Ciyan, taking a deep breath she pushed back the pain that was radiating off him, "Ciyan yous need to let dis shit go aight...no matter what, dis shit between us has to end you needs to forgive him and move past this bitter jealousy or we's fucked even before we start this..." She could see his shoulders sag and her heart went out to him, yeah she had her issues with his royal highness but nothing to rival Ciyan's issues. "Come on Ciy isn't seeing Lexi one more time alive and happy worth any amount of grief?" That was the straw that broke the camels back, and she knew she had him licked.

"Yeah aight, so when we get to this bumpkin town where do we head...?" Ciyan asked physically exhausted with the whole ordeal, he decided to change subjects, arguing with Serina he knew was futile.

"Well we's headed to the alien capital USA so of course we's going to the Crashdown Cafe baby..." Serina giggled and gave Tristan a wink, and soon they were all in high spirits laughing as they crossed into the Roswell, New Mexico.

Still wandering around the street of Roswell...

Rath felt a tingling sensation on the back of his neck and new his dupe was near by, though they'd all carefully disguised themselves in some cornball get ups, his fam would still be able to pin point him out aswell as their dupes. Glancing to his side he knew Lonnie felt the same pressence and they headed for the alley, looking for some safe coverage.

Carefully hidden in the shadows, they watched as Rath's dupe as well as some fiery blonde headed towards the Crashdown Cafe, "Hey ders your cornball dupe and his human bitch, hows bout we go introduce ourselves..." Rath gave Lonnie the go ahead and they were both about to jet towards the Cafe when he felt a very distinct presence that knocked him for a loop, he grabbed onto Lonnie's arm and jerked her to stop, "What the fuck...!?" she hissed but fell silent when she looked at his expression, "...what's the deal Rath?"

"She's here, Rina's in Roswell..." he stated and pointed to the trio making their way towards the Cafe. His eyes glued to the small auburn hair beauty, there was no denying it was her, he could feel her presence easing its way into his mind and for a second his world shifted as memories flashed before his eyes. Only when Lonnie jerked him back into the shadows did he snap back to reality, but luckily she'd dragged him out of sight just as Serina scanned the exact same spot where they'd been standing only moments ago.

"Thanks for looking out, so I guess we postpone the introductions, lets go find Zan and Aves." Rath stated before heading off in the oppisite direction to find Zan.

As they approached the Crashdown and caught sight of the campy flying saucer crashing through the roof of the diner Serina couldn't seem to stifle her anxietyl, she'd been dreaming about this moment all her life, to be finally reunited with her siblings, and especially Alexia. Memories still haunted her, to many ghosts from her past refused to be ignored any longer, and the senseless tragedy that claimed the life of her sister, now begged for vengence. A tragedy that was never atoned, but soon she'd have her answers, soon Alexia's killer would be unmasked, and finally the responsible party for causing all the pain and betrayal that befell them all would know the meaning of true pain, that was one fact she was sure of.

"So Rina dis da place?" Ciyan asked his eyes still glued to the cornball cafe.

"Yeah dis is the place Cal described, so lets get in der and do this." trying to gather up her thoughts and her courage, Rina made her way over to the Cafe, Tristan and Ciyan following close behind. She'd almost made to the front door when she felt the faint presence of one of her siblings, but when she turned towards the pull, she came face to face with...nothing.

"What's the deal Rina, you's okay?" Noticing the look of distress etched subtely over Serina's features, Tristan became concerned and when he put a comforting hand on her shoulder, something odd happened. The connection that seemed only a vague memory from when they were children suddenly burst to life, and all of Serina's feelings and worries poured into him. He felt himself submeresed within her, shocked he nearly stumbled back, but before he could say anything the wall between them was once again errected and then there was nothing more than a vague impression of the connection.was left. He wanted to confront her on it,
wanted to force her to face him to face whatever this connection between them meant, but in the end all he could do was stare at her in silence. They were both locked into a staring contest, neither able to turn away, and in the silence that hung between them years of longing and unspoken feelings raged within them.

Clearly feeling the tension mounting Ciyan looked curiously at the pair before him, "Yo Rina...Tris what's the hold up, lets go meet the fam..." then with one final push he'd broken the trance and pulled Serina with him through the doors.

The chime at the door brought Maria out of her daydream, and glancing at the trio, she was immediately floored by the similiarity in appearance of the girl. She could pass for Liz's twin, almost an exact replica of Liz, the only difference was this Liz was a few inches taller and had diffrent hair and eye color. "Michael...Michael....hey Spaceboy!" she whispered loudly trying to get his attention, she'd almost given up, when suddenly he jerked up, his eyes automatically landing on the auburn haired replica of Liz Parker.

His heart was beating a mile a minute, there she was only a few feet away, "Rina..." the name echoed in his ears, and when she locked eyes with him, a flash assailed his senses..

Flashback....

Running wildly amoung Tribiscus trees, the petite beauty left a whirlwind of aquamarine petals in her wake, since before she could remember the Sardonian gardens at dusk became her sanctuary. A secret place to escape where she was no longer a princess or an oracle but rather she was simply a girl playing freely amongst the safety of the forest.

"You know a princess shouldn't run wild like an Eliserian wood nymph, mother would be furious with you..."

Suddenly shocked to find her brother standing inches away from her, a look concerned humor twinkling in his eyes, "RATH!" she shrieked coming to a dead halt infront of hiim, "...don't sneak up on me like that, you nearly scared me to death..." she gave his arm a playful punch and then pulled him to the ground right along with her. "...plus what mother doesn't know wont hurt her, right my descrit and loving big brother..." she gave him the puppy dog eyes and a pouty lip, but relaxed instantly when he started laughing and brought her in for an embrace.

"Oh your almost as good as Lexi when it comes to manipulating me..." He gave her nose a gentle tap, and straightened up seriously holding her gaze, "Rina what is going on, I sense your unrest aswell as Lexi's utter saddness, please do not shut me out..." he silently pleaded with her to open up to him.

Momentarily she hesitated, though she'd vowed to keep this secret between Lexi and herself, it had proven a more daunting task than either one anticipated, and Serina wanted nothing more than to share this burden with her older brother knowing that he'd gladly welcome the weight. "Rath...Lexi and I...well we've..." a howl in the distance snapped her back to reality and her words died on her tongue. Unable to face his expecting eyes, she let her own eyes wander to the ground, "...it's nothing Rath really, just some silly girl troubles..."

He knew she was lying, he also knew she wanted to tell him, but whatever was going on involved them both, and it was definately something extremly serious, for Serina to freeze up so suddenly. Letting out a frustrated breath he ran his hand through his hair, and once again pulled her into a hug, "Rina I wont push, but promise me if whatever secret you two are hiding gets to hard to bare...or to dangerous to remain hidden please confide in me...Minva ets per mia coura..." he soothingly whispered still keeping her safely tucked away within his powerful arms. When he felt her sag and lean into him trembling lightly, his heart constricted, he hated the roles destiny forced upon his little sisters.

Both were cursed with the gift of the sight, a power that terrorized them since birth, which seemed only to be increasing as they grew older, especially in Alexia. Lexi bared the full brunt of the sight, she'd go into convulsions and pass out, from the force of the visions, it was terrifing to witness, and he wished on many occassions for the strength to block Alexia's power. Yet they were both fighters, one survived by shutting herself away amoungst the jf
acade of royal aristroctiy and the other finding refuge in the life of a soldier, but neither Alexia or Serina were allowed to follow their own hearts both slaves to the same birthright that befell Sander and himself. A birthright handed down through generations of D'athime's, a birthright demanded of those with Sardonian blood, a curse...a gift...the weight of the 5 planets befell on all four of their shoulders, wheter they wished it or not.

End Flashback...

"Rath..."His name echoed in her mind, and there he was standing only a few feet away, pretty blonde was at his side smacking his arm and whispering something unintelligable in his ear.

"Is that'im?" Tristan asked giving the scruffy looking cook a once over, if that was the great general Rath they were all in trouble.

Ciyan barely gave him a second glance before plopping down at an empty booth and whistling over the fiery waitress, "Yo! alittle service over here."

'Great...' Maria huffed another rude alien, she silently cursed her luck she was about to make her way over to him when Michael's hand shot out and grabbed her arm stopped her mid stride, "What the hell Michael..."

"Maria stay behind me, I'm not sure what to think and right now it's only me and you against three aliens, got it Blondie..." Michael spoke through gritted teeth his eyes trained on the trio.

Both Rina and Tristan were caustious keeping their distance and giving Rath a chance to get comfortable with the situaion but Ciyan seemed less then impressed with the great General Rath, "Yo Rath chill out we's cool just here to grab some grub and visits with the fam is all..." he smirked and Michael swore an image of Max flashed before his eyes sporting the same smirk, he tool a double take trying to clear his mind.

"Look I'm not sure what the hell is going on right now, but I say we just relax and I'll call the others over here...and the name's Michael, not Rath cheif." Michael snickered which caused Serina to giggle, this was definately her brother.

"Alright Mikey we's chillen, but how bout some grub while's we wait..." she threw him a smile and when he grunted and treked back to the kitchen she eased her way into the booth next to Ciyan, Tristan not far behind.

"Well alittle late but, welcome to the Crashdown I'm Maria and what can I get you..." Maria strode over confidently, the three hybrids couldn't hide their smirk at her obvious ease and lack of fear, this chic definately balls. Just then Rina had a flash of Melenia that flickered in an out they seemed similar, but that was crazy unfortunately Nia's pod was damaged beyond repair and she perished moments after the crash...but still, Serina was soon lost in thought.

"Um hello...thought you guys wanted to order..." Maria asked creeped out by the way they were all staring at her, but especially the Liz clone, this chic seemed to studying her.

"Shit sorry der Mouth, how's about a round of Cherry Coke's and a basket of um..." Rina glanced at the menu and shook her head in humurous disgust..."...a basket of orbit rings.."

"Coming right up..." she scribble on her pad and then flounced back to the kitchen.

Just then the chime above the door's of the Crash sounded and the dupes strode in, Maria was left speechless and a tray of drinks crashed to the floor, causing Michael to rush to the front only to be stopped dead in his tracks by what he saw. "Holy shit!" he gasped as punked out versions of Max, Isabel, himself and Tess strode in. Can this day get any weider...he cursed his luck where the hell was Maxwell.

Preview what's to come...Ciyan and Max have it out, Liz is taken, Serina falls ill and mysteriously bruises and cuts appear all over her body. Tess's rage nearly destroy the royal's before they learn the truth behind the prophecy, and one of the royal's make's the biggest sacrifice.

Chapter 9

"Max what's the deal, I thought we were all supposed to head to Michael's but then you just suddenly send Michael with Maria and we're just scoping out the Valentis?" Isabel whinned they'd been sitting here for about an hour and she'd just about reached her breaking point.

"Izzy cool it...I know Tess is up to something she hasn't called or come around the house in almost two days, you have to admit that's unusual the girl is stuck to me like white on rice for the past 6 months and then all of a sudden she disappears, coincidentaly at the same time Liz and Alex reveal the truth to us about our past...something is definately up..." Max cursed himself again for ever letting Tess manuever herself so easily into the group. They knew nothing about her except the basics and then information that coinsided with her whole destiny kick, such as her being hybrid like them and then Ava supposively being his long lost soulmate, the more he re-evaluated the situation the fishier all her stories became. Especially her supposed destiny prophecy, now that Liz had pointed out one small piece of truth...Alexia was his queen.

"MAX!!" Isabel finally fustrated with her sibling ignoring her shouted trying to coax him back from his mental revali.

"WHAT ..."flung back to reality, irrated with her tone Max faced his sister, but when he caught sight of the trepidation that veiled her face, he quickly calmed himself "What's wrong Iz?" he asked.

"Um we need to get to the Crashdown now..." Isabel muttered trying to regain her composure, she'd been annoyed with Max and was about to let him have it when suddenly she was hit with a wave of panic that nearly took her breath away, an image of Michael appeared before her eyes at same time. "Something is happening at the crash...we need to hurry Max..."

Max was confused but one look at Isabel's worried filled gaze and he put the car in drive speeding towards the Crashdown, he only hoped that both Liz and Alex were still safely out of reach at the Reservation.

When they arrived at the Crashdown, the scene they walked into nearly floored them. The Crashdown was now 'Alien Grand Central Station'. In one booth sat exact replica's of both himself and Isabel aswell as Tess and Michael(well the punked out versions atleast), and in another booth three new faces sat glaring at the punk pod squad. Max fought through his own astonishment and zeroed in on Michael who was busy in the back trying to calm and irrate Maria.

"MARIA PLEASE!" he finally snapped, after 20 mins of Hurricane De Luca.

"Oh no Spaceboy..." She was about to continue her tiraid when Michael caught sight of Max and Isabel and made a hasty get away. Unfortunately Maria was quick on his heels, then suddenly the swinging doors that seperated the back from the Dinner seemed frozen shut, keeping Maria at bay...well momentarily atleast, "...MICHAEL GUERIN IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU, YOU WILL OPEN THIS DOOR...NOW !!" she shrieked beating wildly against the immovable wooden doors.

Wincing at the decibles, Michael looked around curiously, Max and Isabel both shook their heads, but when his eyes fell on the auburn beauty to his left, he'd found his savior.

Serina noticed the set of lungs on the blonde, as her tirade continued and she couldn't help but feel bad for her big brother. With a subtle wave she imprisoned 'The Mouth' earning her a thankful smile.

~No prob, but even my alien powers wont help you when Mouth get's out...~ she pathed and couldn't hide the giggle at the look of pure horror that replaced Michael's smile.

"Michael what's going on?" Max asked his eyes now glued on the small red headed that bared an unbelievable resemblence to Liz.

Isabel was speechless, she stared at each of the new hybrids, obviously disturbed by the dupes and the redheaded version of Liz, but her eyes were drawn to an amber eyed hybrid sitting next to the redhead. Something about this new hybrid felt familiar, like she should know him, but she couldn't place it, Isabel didn't miss how his eyes never left Max. He seemed deep in concentration as if he were waiting for Max to attack, Isabel could feel the anger roll off him in waves and she had to take a breath trying to ease her own anxieties at pure hate she'd felt from him.

Both Michael and Max noticed her miss a step and turned concerned by it, "Iz what's wrong?" Max asked.

When she shook her head momentarily clearing away the residual feelings she was picking up off the alien, she realized both her brothers were looking at her concerned. "Um...nothing just too much tension in the room, but I'm fine...Now Michael who are all these people? And where are Liz and Alex?" Isabel asked trying to change topics, as she waited for Michael to explain, she joined Max at and empty booth, making sure to keep the light-eyed hybrid in her peripherals at all times.

Michael noticed Isabel dancing around the question but decided to drop it for now, they had bigger problems to deal with at the moment. "Well the Crashdown is officially Alien Central, um those three..." Micheal pointed to the booth behind them where Serina, Tristan and Ciyan seemed to be deep in conversation, throwing the dupes sneering glances every so often, "...well the girl is Serina my sister, and the other two I'm not sure, but I'll give you two guess as to who the brooding one reminds me of..." Michael smirked at Max before continuing, "...and those four are either shifters or our twins but they haven't really said much since they arrived..." Michael's jaw tightened when he thought of the way duplicate was leering at Maria when they'd first shown up.

"Have any of them said anything to you..." Max asked trying to steer Michael's attention away from the dupes before he did something they might all regret.

"Nothing...first Serina and her crew came in, we had a staring contest, the brooding one made some smart ass remark and they ordered..." Michael described the flash he recieved from Serina and continued, "...then a few minutes later our dupes strolled in, not a word, they just sat themselves and have been staring ever since. It's creepy Maxwell, it's almost like this was a planned meeting or something..."

Max could feel the weight of leadership pressing firmly against his shoulders, like it or not he was responsible for them, even the latest additions to the alien population in Roswell, "Alright so I guess we make the first move, and find out what they want, atleast the Parkers are out for the week at that convention so we don't risk to many people seeing them around town." Max took one last look around, he noticed that the dupes were quiet, almost as if they were trying to draw as little attention to themselve as possible. Max pictured a predator sizing up its prey was a pretty good comparision to what the dupes appeared and it creeped him out, letting his eyes continue their path around the Cafe he landed on the trio behind them. Unlike the dupes these three seemed to be deep in conversation, they were nervous and the anxiety was whipping around all of them in a torment of emotion.

"Okay I think we should approach Serina first, but keep an eye on the dupes at all times, something about them doesn't sit right with me..." Max tried to shake away his trepidation, but when he glanced at the NY pod squad, he caught the malice etched in Michael's dupe features and it sent ice cold fingers down his spine, "...hey Michael have you heard back from Liz or Alex?" Max asked.

"No...which is weird they should've been here by now, or atleast checked in...maybe one of us should've stayed with them..."Michael started to feel his own anxiety rise, at the thought of Liz and Alex alone out there, especially since Roswell was suddenly over flowing with aliens. What if this bunch here was only the beginning, what if the skins or even Khivarr and Tess had them?

Isabel watched as Michael's calm dissolved before her eyes, if she didn't do something quick he'd do something they'd all probably regret, "Ok I hate to break it to you both but Liz Parker is far from your ideal helpless damsel in distress, both her and Alex are ten times stronger than the three of us put together...I mean they've been training all their lives, trust me they can take care of themselves..." she watched as both her brothers relaxed abit, "...plus I think that right now they are safer as far away from here as possible, think about why all them chose the Crashdown as the first place to hit when they arrived..." That was the final nail in the coffin, both Max and Michael let out a shaky breathe, and it was decided that they should get down to buisness, but Michael needed a few minutes to try and difuse Hurricane DeLuca. Isabel and Max wished him good luck, and he silently prayed that he survived this one piece, 'Here we go...'

********************************

She'd tried to make herself scarce these last couple of days, things in Roswell had changed, and whatever leeway she might've had with Max was now perminently gone. All thanks to that mousy brown-haired bitch, Liz Parker...so Tess decided to get the hell out of the dodge. She was now hawled up in some sleazy dive on the outskirts of Santa-Fe, hoping that what little leverage she still had with Naceo would be enough to keep her alive alittle while longer.

Bang...Bang...Bang...Tess jumped out of her skin, this meeting would determine her fate, smoothing down her skirt and running a hand through her blonde locks, she tried to reign in her anxieties.

"Where have you been!?" she spat out her Ice Cold glare securely in place

"If it isn't our SECOND HAND Queen..." Nacedo stepped inso the room, his eyes scanning his surroundings, he was unable to hide the snee of disgust when he noticed how unkempt and filthy the room was, "Now Tessa, is this how royalty behaives..." He caustically bit out, as he tried to push some trash aside in order to sit.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Tess snapped, she was a queen, his queen and he had the audacity to speak down to her, Never. "You will apologize to me, and then you will find us both suitable lodgeing..." Before she knew what was happening, Tess was flung back hitting the wall with a loud thump. Her arms and legs were now pinned painfully secured to the wall by and an invisible force, and only her head thrashed wildly from side to side. "WHAT ARE..."

"SILENCE!" Nacedo Roared his voice thundered throughout the room, with delibarate ease he stalked up to his wanna be queen. Out of time, there was nothing leff for him to do, "Listen well your 'Highness', because I will only say this once..." Nacedo let his finger trace the contours of her face, travelling further down till he felt the plump swell of her breast. When he forcefully squeezed the fleshy mound, Tess cried out, and a malevolent smile spread over his lips, leaning in till is lips were nuzzeling her ear, again he delighted in the fear that poured out of her, "You are a snivelling, whinning spoiled brat, who isn't even worthy to kiss the ground the High Queen walks on...it is with great sorrow and regret that a creaturte so unworthy will have the honor of facing off with her, but to my utter disappointment you Tessa are all I have..." his words were laced with repulsion as he gave her breast one final tug before he watched her crumble to the ground a trembling mess, when he undid the invisible shakles that detained her.

Desperately she tried to regain her composure, but her body refused to obey, and once again she was wracked with compulsive shakes, "I'M QUEEN!" Tess gathered what little strength she had left and sent a shockwave out that knocked Nacedo on his ass. Taking advantage of the small window of opportunity that presented itself as Nacedo picked himself up, Tess inched towards the door and a split second late flew out the door making a mad dash down the hall and into the nearest elevator. Once she reached the lobby she found a small sitting area and decided to sit and wait for the shifter to appear. 'Damn it...what now?' she silently debated but just as soon as the thought popped up, she felt him.

'Stupid little Bitch!' Nacedo cursed as he pushed passed a group of miserable humans, he hated this god-forsaken rock., and above all else he detested these disgusting talking monkey, 'Tainted...the Royal court was tainted with this infirior DNA...' he concluded. Looking around he was unable to find his imatation
queen, he instead walked out the door's of the hotel, his mind brimming over with twisted thoughts of torture and murder. He'd do away with the abomination that the Royal Court had become, and in doing so show is loyalty and respect to Antar's true High King....Khivarr.

Letting out a shacky breath, Tess wipped away the beads of sweat that had formed on her forehead while she concentrated to keep up the mindwarp. Luckily Nacedo didn't stay long, and as soon as he was out the door Tess dropped the warp and headed towards the back exit. 'I'm screwed...' Tess trying to come up with a back up plan was suddenly hit with a flashback:

Flash....

"....You are a snivelling, whinning, spoiled bart, who isn't even worthy to kiss the ground the High Queen walks on...it is with great sorrow and regret that a creaturte so unworthy will have the honor of facing off with her, but to my utter disappointment you Tessa are all I have..."

His piutret breath slithered around her, she'd never felt a more complete terror than this paticular moment, as the she'd come to consider family turned on her, tears slide uninhibited from red and swollen eyes. In her mind she screamed for help, begging the gods to be merciful, but when her gaze found it's way up to his, Tess found her prayers for mercy fading into oblivion. She'd never seen such pure rage staring back at her, reality hit her like a ton of bricks, and the last few months of her life replayed themselves in slowmotion before her eyes. One image stood out above all else, a moments where she felt truly content for the first time in her miserable existance...Kyle.

Before she knew what was happening, she released a shockwave that allowed her the opportunity to escape...

End Flash....

"What the fuck was the Shifter ranting and raving about..." she hissed while she scurried away from the hotel, maintaining to the alleys and side streets for coverge. She'd been raised since the moment she hatched to believe she was the queen, Max's bride and true love, had it all been a lie, a clever plot to assasinate the royal's and remove whatever threat they posed to Khivarr. Tess shook the unbidden thoughts out of her head, "I am Avan'yan D'thaime Triliakan princess reigent of theRoyal House of Corrino, and destined bride of King Alezannder Carisius Zannos , High King of Antar." Tess bit out pushing away any doubts that lingered as a result of Nacedo's confrontation. Pulling out her cell phone she dialed a number that she'd sworn a long time ago she would never dail again.

"Hey...I need you help...."

Alright guys this chapter is alittle angsty but hope you like...
And again thnxs for reading and the comments it's what keeps me going...well without further ado here is Chapter 10...

Chapter 10

I'm not sure where I am, I can hear Alex calling out to me, but every time I try to reach out to him, the world around me blurs and I feel my self fall deeper and deeper into the dark. My body is now being lifted, I can feel Alex's warm chest pressed up against me as he holds me in his arms, he is arguing with someone but I can't quiet make out what he is saying....Damn IT!...Now we're moving I can feel my brother's concern, it's like a solid mass ramming against my heart...

"Alex...Alex!...SANDER!!!..." I cry out but my words fall on deaf ears.

Nothing, everytime I try and reach him I am met with a wall, blocking my attempts, 'Damn it!' I curse again and after about my 5th attempt I give up. Obviousily this is pointless I realize, finally take in my surroundings a gasp escapes my lips and I let the gravity of my situation sink in, nothing...that is what I find, absolutely nothing. A realm completely devoid of color, of emotion, and most of all deviod of life. The utter emptiness chills me down to the bone, I miss my body, I miss my family and most of all I miss my home.

Suddenly a small break in the darkness catches my eye, I move towards it longing for something other than the nothingness of the space around me. A sudden realization dawns on me, I have no body and so I have no feet, so I can't be walking, yet I still imagine myself running, desperate to reach the light. Then just as quick as the desire appears in my mind, I'm standing infront of the it. It's a box, a small cube bathed in light, just about the size of my hand, but in the midst of all this darkness, it shines like a beacon. Without a second thought I reach for the box, when my fingers brush the edges I'm thrown abruptly into a memory...

Flash....

"Oh if it isn't her royal highness..."

Alexia froze as she heard the jagged voice that pierced through her, turning she stood face to face with the death personified. Her eyes were cold, devoid of any feeling other than pure rage..."Ava..."she whispered.

Ava let out a blood curdling laugh, "Why yes dear cousin, here I stand in the flesh ready to pay homage to my beautiful queen." She walks around Alexia a predatory gleam in her eye, "...You stole everything from me, my love..." Ava inched closer coming up behind Alexia till she was directily behind her, her fingers running through the queens loose locks, "....my future..." she enclosed her fist around a clump of hair, "...my brother..." This time she yanked firmly, eliciting a yelp from the young queen and causing her to fall to her knees in pain.

"Please Ava don't do this..." Alexia cried out, her mind racing for an escape, unconsciously her hands traveled to her belly, thoughts of her unborn child raging through her mind. "You know I never meant to hurt you, the heart wants what the heart wants..."

Unmoved by Alexia's declaration Ava grit her teeth and savagely pushed her cousin away, "LOVE...Love I don't give a damn about love and weak human emotions, I was meant to be HIGH QUEEN..." Her voice was sharp and mechanicle, as she circled her prey once agian, "...I was trained to be his queen, told everyday that I would one day be high queen, and you took that all away...YOU STOLE MY DREAMS!!!" Ava roared as she flung Alexia against the wall with a blast of power. She watched with giddy delight as Alexia grunted and tears leaked from her closed eyes, "...but not to worry I shall soon remedy this situation..." with her powers she held Alexia securly against the wall. Each step only seemed to fuel her rage as she stalked her prey, when she was only inches away Ava paused and simply stared at her nemisis. Alexia's head thrashed left and right as she tried desperately to release her arms, but the more she tried the tighter Ava held on, till she was completly paralyzed. "Know this dear cousin, I will have Zan's love, I will be his queen..." Ava reached out and traced the small bump petruding from Alexia's abdomen, a wicked sneer playing upon her lips, "...and I will bare the royal heir..."

A searing pain shot through her abdomen, as Alexia let out an inhuman howl, "NOOO!!!!"

End of Flash....

Her body jerked up as her hands flew out an enormous ball of energy ripping out of palms, "NOOOO!!!"

The car came to screeching halt, Alex felt his blood run cold as the horrid scream that tore out of Liz echoed in his mind, trying to asess the damage he glanced around and eased alittle when he watched Riverdog run out to try and clean up the after effects of Liz's ourburst. His eyes were drawn immediately to his sister who was staring out into the night her eyes glossy and lacking any recognition. "Liz...?" his voice was soft and cautious as he tried to get her attention.

When he took a closer look what he found left him with his heart in his thoart, her eyes were no longer the warm chocalate that seemed to reflect her soul within their depths, but rather they were entirely black, as if the her alienside had swallowed all her emotion, and left nothing but a black void. Trying to shake her, Alex grabbed her shoulders and forcefully jerked her around, "LIZ!...Lexi?" Suddenly she turned to him, still lost in the alien abyss within her she barely registered her surroundings, and as she spoke, Alex felt his heart break with every syllabul.

"Et tres Don's AVA!...Sander don's AVA, mia bev morte! AVA MORTE, AVA MORTE, AVA MORTE, AVA MORTE...." she was screaming over and over her skin rippling with red streaks of energy, and with every wail her anger multiplies till the very air around her is charged.

Unable to rouse his sister Alex looks around praying for a miracle, just then Riverdog enter's the car and finds himself in complete shock at the state of the queen. The young prince also seems troubled and turns a pleading eye towards him, "Please Riverdog I don't know what is wrong with her, she seems lost in a memory...she won't even answer me and keeps repeating a single phrase. Please help her..." Placing a hand gently on her forhead and then another at the base of her skull, Riverdog sends a small burst of energy through her, and then watches as her body collapses onto the seat once more. "She will sleep now, but I am not sure how to wake her from this nightmare..." he glances at his young queen and tries to shake the miserable feeling that has come over him, "...whatever she has remembered has tramautized her, and now she can't distinguish the past from the present."

Alex can't help but run a trembling hand through his sister's hair, he watches as she shakes and cries in her sleep, and the anguish that builds in his heart is almost unbearable. "Then we take her to Max, he'll know how to help her...he'll know how to wake her..." he repeats before climbing back to the drivers seat and heading back to Roswell. Praying to whatever god or higher power there is to keep is sister safe til they can find her and guide her back.

Back at the Crashdown...

"OKAY ENOUGH!" Max yells tired of the endless squabling and fighting. Since they'd decided start this meeting, it has been one arguement after another. The dupes seemed to be extremely interested in finding the granolith, while Serina has only one agenda to find her sister and finds it to convient that both Liz and Alex aren't around. To make matters worse Ciyan has done nothing but antagonize him into a fight since they started, and now Michael is squaring off against his dupe, because Rath claim's he is the rightful heir to the Sardonian throne.

"Look Duke you aint my king so Iz don't got to listen to yer ass..." Rath turns his attentions toward the mayberry king and possee.

"I don't really care what you think, but here your on my turf and I am the man...GOT. IT!" Max rises his eyes flashing with power as he stares the dupe down.

Not wanting to start a conflict where he'd be out numbered even with his crew in toe, Rath backs down, "Aight yous da man..." he conceeds and sits back down.

Serina was sick of it all, her anxiety was through the roof, something was definately wrong with her sister, she felt it deep down in her bones, and she was fed up with all the bullshit argueing, "Look your highness...Iz dont care bout nothing else cept my sister, so if yous could just point me in da right direction we'll be out of yer hair."

Michael couldn't help but hide the sting her words caused, he'd barely known about her, but still she'd barely given him a second glance since she'd arrived, "Like we said both Liz and Alex are at the reservation just outside of Roswell's city limits, they should be on their way here, so just cool your jets already Rina." he snickered and then securely placed his stonewall gaze back on.

Between the dupes, the trio of hybrids in one booth and her normal pod squad Maria was going to meltdown soon unless someone started talking, she'd closed down early, not really wanting to cause a scene, but instead of talking and getting things squared away, everyone was fighting amongs themselves, "THAT'S IT! I don't care who or what you guys are...YOUR ACTING LIKE CHILDREN! SO shut up and calm down. YOU..." she pointed at Serina and crew, "Liz isn't here right now so just relaxe that pretty little head of yours and wait, and YOU..." her gaze fell on Ciyan, "I don't know what your problem is but quit your snide comments and stop glaring at Max, whatever went down between the two of you was in the past and neither he nor you are the same person anymore...SO GROW UP!..." she followed by glaring at the dupes, "AND YOU GUYS, if the granny-thingy was sent with them than obviously it is theirs to protect so you have no buisness Demanding anything from them GOT IT!" Letting out a breath Maria quickly regained her composure and turned to Max, "Your the King right...so start acting like it, hash out whatever differences you have before Liz gets here or so help me..." finally done Maria sat back down a bottle of cedar oil firmly grasped in her hand.

"Yo Mouth's got some serious balls, but she's also right...we're sorry..." Serina was the first to speak and quickly apologized embarrassed by hers and Tristan's and Ciyan's behaivior.

Zan followed suite, he'd been quietly taking the situation, and he'd been impressed with his dupe, but he'd been completly stunned by blondie's speech. The chic certainly had spunk and he couldn't help but smile at the dumbfounded faces of his crew once she was done ranting, "Yeah we's cool, we'll waits for sweets to arrive..." Rath was about to object but with a cold glare from Zan he bit his tongue and sat back down. "Yo but Iz got a question, where's your Aves?"

Before Max could answer the doors to the crashdown burst open and a very distraught Alex entered carrying Liz in his arms, Riverdog was not far behind, "MAX!..something is wrong with Liz..." was all he got out before Max dashed over to his side grabbing Liz out of his arms and into his own.

His heart stopped for those couple of seconds that followed Alex's entrance, and when he heard the misery laced within Alex's words and saw the way Liz's body barely moved except to sob or shake, his blood ran cold. Leaping to action he ran towards them and not giving a second thought he grabbed Liz into his arms. She was so small and fragile that it broke his heart to watch her suffer, "Liz...Liz baby wake up...come on baby..." he tried to coax but when he recieved no reply he pushed his way through the onlookers and headed to the break room. Laying her gently on the couch he smoothed back her hair and let his fingers gently trace the contours of her face. "Please Lexi wake up...I'm right here baby...now wake up..." his voice was choked with emotion as tears ran down his cheecks.

The others had congregated around them, and Serina was trying to push her way through when she felt familiar arms pulling her back. Tristan was well aware how desperate the situation was and right now Serina would only do more harm than good, he held her as she fought to escape, "Rina she doesn't need you now, she needs Zan and he is the only one that can guide her back." his words cut deep and Tristan knew that it wasn't only Serina he was hurting but also his brother, Ciyan looked desperate and seemed to be hanging on by only a small thread of sanity.

Max knew the others were near but right now he was focused entirely on the precious creature that lay locked in slumber before him, placing a hand on her heart he attempted to make a connection, but it was no use. He fell forwards burying his face in her breast and crying out for her to let him in, "PLEASE LEXI, Let me in...PLEASE..." he'd almost given up hope when suddenly he was flung into the dark abyss of her mind. Everything around him was cold and dark, so unlike the vibrant warmth that shone through her normally. "LIZ...LEXI?" he called out in the darkness as he stumbled forward.

All around her was cold and dark, broken like she was broken, alone like she felt, 'maybe this is where we go when we die' she thought offhandedly and then raged out as the memory asailed her once again. Was she doomed to relive that moment for all eternity, was she in hell?, Liz thought, yet in the darkness something was calling to her, someone was calling her. She tried to answer, but their were no words only silence, desperate to reach him she stood in the midst of all this darkness and called out to him with her entire soul, "MAX!!!!"

Her voice was like a beacon, and concentrating only on her, he wa soon propelled through the darkness til he stood mere inches away from her. Their she was brilliant amoungst all this darkness, "Liz..." he watched transfixed as she turned to him, words couldn't possibly describe the beauty that stood before him, he didn't speak for fear that this was all a dream and she'd be gone in an instance.

There he was standing right infront of her, she wasn't alone anymore, 'Max' she whispered and then dove into his arms, tears streaming down her cheecks. Once in his arms she felt herself let go, all the pain and agony the memory had submerged her in was suddenly stripped away. In his arms she felt warm and hopeful, "Oh Max it was horrible...I...I...I saw..." she tried to tell him but her sobbs prevented her.

Holding onto her for dear life, Max ran a soothing hand down through her hair, "Shhh beloved everything is alright...I promise I will do whatever it takes to make everything okay again.." he whispered gently to her, and found comfort in the way her body seemed to melt perfectly against his. No matter what lay ahead, this tiny beauty was his home, his other half and he'd tear apart the universe itself if it meant she'd be spared one moment of heart ache.

Back in the breakroom the others were frantic, now not only was Liz in some weird coma but Max had followed suite, after about ten minutes both Michael and Alex had tried to wake Max and when they recieved no response they'd asked Zan to scan the pair. Once Zan gave the go ahead, it was decided that they should move the pair to Liz's bedroom, gentlely they untangled the lovers but were unable to disengage their joined hands, so they lifted them carefully and placed them together in Liz's bed. Once they were certain that they were okay, the others departed and made their way downstairs again, only Serina and Isabel stayed vigilant at their bedside.

Downstairs Alex described the prophecy and how Liz seemed to black out after she'd recieved the final installment to the prophecy, he went on and described how she'd freaked out and blown out the backseat window, and then she'd been speaking some Antarian and chanting a paticular phrase, "Ava Morte...she kept repeating it over and over and her eye's completly blackened, she looked lifeless and alien..." Alex shivered as the image replayed itself in his mind, he'd never been frightened by his alien side, but watching his sister transform infront of him, hit alittle to close to home.

"What the hell does that mean...Ava Morte..."Michael mumbled then his eyes sought out the old alien.

Riverdog knew this moment was soon at hand but was hesistant, the implications of those two words would tear everything apart, "It means...Ava is Death..." he explained and watched as the others turned confused towards Ava. The poor girl was trembling and tears brimed her eyes, "...leave the poor child alone, she is not to be blamed for what her predecessor committed." he stood shielding the young princess with his body, his heart broke as the young child clutched a shakey hand in his.

"Fine but Ava is death, death of what..." just as the words left his mouth, Michael knew exactly what it meant and anger roared inside of him. He tore through the restuarant fling chairs and tables out of his way. His eyes like Liz's before him were now complete blackened as Rath's essence came forward. "Stand down Amon...that little witch will not be allowed to cause anymore suffering!" Michael growled and ripped Ava out of the old shifters grasp, he held her up by the throat in one hand, the others were soon screaming begging him to let her go, but he was single minded in his assault, "Avan'yan YOU ARE GUILTY OF TREASON...you slew the queen and the unborn heir, how do you plead...." Ava gurgled desperately trying to escape his grasp, but Michael only squeezed harder blocking her airways, "This filth will no longer be allowed to live..." before he could finish his statement Zan blasted him, causing Michael to stumble and release Ava.

Ava quickly scurried underneath one of the booth, terrified she began to rock back and forth keeping her eyes tightly shut, while a purple bubble surrounded her as her sheild secured itself around her.

Michael quickly regained his composure and staggered to the backroom, Rath's essence once again dorment, he now felt the grief that followed closed behind the rage. Alex was at his side aswell as Maria, but unable to deal with all these emotions, and the presence of the others he ran out the back door and disappeared into the shadows. Maria who'd been crying, tried to run after him, when Alex reached out and stopped her, "Let him go Maria, he needs to come to terms with this alone." he explained and held the frieghtened girl in his arms as she sobbed.

This new revelation, had sent a shockwave that rippled through them, leaving only pain and misery in it's wake. They now knew for certain who'd been Alexia's killer, and though it only seemed to destroy more than it resolved, after every death there comes a time of rebirth. The enemy now held a face, and both Tess and Khivarr would soon pay for all the pain and anguish they'd created. For what does not kill you only makes you stronger...
