Summery: Kivana Eli and Khivar were twins. Kivana Eli was the heiress to the throne of Ryctor. Her father's best friend Zannder Sr. killed her parents and took her and her brother to Antar, where she grew with his children, Zan and Velandra.
Now, in another life, Zan has to return his throne and Kivana Eli needs to be reborn. Things will change, events will take place that will not be able to looked away. At the final match, for the peace Antar, it will be Kivana Eli's and Khivar's blood that will set things right . . . and set the over again.
After Just One, join me in the sequeal Just One: The Weight of the World, where time will be turned back and Ellie will be given another chance to fix things. How will she do it? You'll have to see.

Author's Note 1: Max, Michael, Isabel and Tess exist. They know each other. Nasedo is gone. Zan, Rath, Lonnie and Ava are alive and well and living in New York. Actually, Zan is supposed to be dead since this is after the ep in New York city. After that, it's all pretty much going a different path. My idea has been living long in me but you it refers to the final episode in season 3 where the agents put Max, Michael, Isabel and Liz together as the alien forth.

The girl in the banner, in the center (Kate Beckinsale) is the way my character looks at her essence, as Kivana Eli. I just thought it would be better if I put it to help out. Kevin Smith looks like Christian Kane; Khivar looks like Hayden Christensen in Star Wars Episode III.

Special Note: The original charecter death from the show will take place. I must say, the end is hard, filled with death. Take the end at your risk or perhaps think of the sequal that will be happy at the end.

Prologue: It's strange how your life can be changed in one event. One day, you're just a girl in Roswell, dating the most popular guy and just being you; the next you get shot and your life flashes before your eyes; the next a boy brings you to life and you learn about a whole different specie and you grow to love your savior. But most of all, you get confused when you start to learn that you're no longer alone in this world. And by that, I don't mean friends, boyfriends or parents, because I've always had that. Let me tell you a story. A story about me and how my life changed for good. This whole thing started about 9 months ago when a very special person entered my life, completing me. My nama is Kivana Eli Xothorn-Amayx and after everything I've been through, I can say for sure that I am a fully grown woman making my own choices, may the be right or may the be wrong. Liz Parker died and now, I'm living my life they way it should be. Let me tell you how this whole mess started.

Chapter 1: It was perhaps dawn. Liz's alarm clock was set to go off in three hours, since she had the morning shift. She slept like a baby at that point, with her hair all messy. The sleeping part was not a problem. The dreaming was. For a few nights now, she had the same kind of dream over and over. She would dream she was a different girl, living in Manhattan with her single dad, John. His was a big shot lawyer and she was the hottest chick on the block, or that's what she thought, each time she stepped in front of her mirror. This was very often. In her dream, the day was incredibly warm. She got up bring and early and took a shower, brushed her teeth and combed her hair, and still she was done by 7 a.m.; she got dressed in the weird outfit ever, which Liz would never ever put on in reality. A jeans and a colored top. The jeans were very low and her top was very up. Her belly was completely exposed. But she didn't seam to care. Her long brown hair and her brown eyes seamed to go great with it. Not to mention her high heals. Liz turned in her dream a few times. She couldn't stop herself from wearing all that. After that, she watched herself go down stairs and kiss her father John, who seamed to young to be anyone's, let alone her dad.

''You going out?'' – she heard him ask her as she reached into the fridge and got her some juice. She took a sip from the bottle as she looked back at him. – ''Yea. Why?'' – She asked him and took a few more sips.

''Maybe a change of wardrobe would do you good, Val?'' – she told her and looked at her exposed belly for a bit. She put the bottle on the table and her hands on her hips. – 'Look, mister, I don't tell you which bibbos you can't bring home so you don’t tell me what to wear!! You're not my father!!' – she yelled at him like she was the queen of the entire Earth. Maybe she felt like that at that moment. He looked tired and beated at that point. – ''Val, I don't mean to. . . I'm sorry. It's just that, here, you are my daughter. According to all earth laws. And I just don't. . . I don't think it's appropriated for someone of your status dress as that.'' – He tried to explain but she just rolled her eyes.

Liz could see the look on his face and knew that he was waiting for more yelling but Val, the girl that was surpassingly her, just took off for the doors, took her coat and ran out of the place. As she was out of the apartment, she saw to men at the door. As she went for the elevator, one of them followed her. He went in with her. – ''I don't need bodyguards! – she growled at him. At first he ignored her but he knew that she would probably continue if he didn't say something. – ''Milady, we have orders from your brother to protect you. Please, do not disobey them or we will be in trouble.'' – he told her weakly. He knew that he was no match for her. She looked at him, with sharp eyes. It was strange for Liz to look at all this. One minute, she was Val, and the next, she was someone else in the elevator. Val spoke again. – ''You're lucky I don't turn your heard for a full circle. In a human's body, you wouldn't survive!'' – Pausing, she looked at him – ''Fine, but you better not be seen. And do not interrupt me if I stop to talk to anyone! Is that clear!? – The question was asked but it was an order. She only watched him nod his head.

The elevator stopped at the ground floor. As the doors opened, she rushed out of it and through the lobby, the body guard behind her. As she got out, she bumped into a man. She fell of her feet and so did she. She looked at him before she started yelling and stopped herself. His eyes, his face, she knew this man. She knew so much about him just by looking at him. She could see by his face that he knew her but unlike her, he could never know who she was. Those memories were erased , she thought to herself as he reached his hand to help her up. She took it.

''I'm real' sorry.'' – he told her. It was clear that his speaking manners were not at his best. – ''I'm Zan.'' – he told her, clearly to be polite but Eliza already knew that. Liz could tell that from her face. She reached let loose from his hand. – ''It's alright, Zan. I'm Val.'' – she told him but his attention seamed to be turned to the tall building behind her. – ''T'is yours?'' – he asked her. She nodded, as he turned his look to her. He wondered if he could actually be him. He seamed more turned towards the material the the girl, her, and it wasn't the way she remembered him. But he shortly returned his gaze to her. – ''You wana go out?'' – he asked her.

''We are out. – she said with a gentle smile. – But how does no sound, unless you're busy with this building?- he shook his head to his question and he showed her the way. The walked a bit and then the stopped to a hot dog stand. She actually stopped. She nodded towards it but he kinda made a bit of a guilty face. She knew he was broke, but she wasn't. – ''My treat this time.''- he didn't seam to have any problem with that. The dream went on for Liz. Val and Zan went to her apartment back and John wasn't there. After that, she told him she wanted to sleep with him. When Liz realized that they were actually sleeping together, Val and Zan; what seamed like her and Max, she woke up. She opened her eyes and looked around. She was in her room. With a dream as confusing at it could possibly be.

She then realized that she was not alone. Someone was walking around her balcony. She got out of bed, in her shorts and simple night top and walked to her window. It was Max. He kept walking back and forth, saying things she couldn't understand. - '' Max? '' – she called out his name, which startled him at first. She looked up at him. He seamed confused. Nervous and what not. - ''What's going on, Max?'' – she asked him. He then sat on the floor and leaned on the wall next to the window. Liz could now only see a bit of him. – ''It's too confusing. All that world out side of Roswell. New York. Rath and Lonnie.'' – he told her what bothered him. He wasn't even sure if he was supposed to be telling her all that. Why would it even worry her, he asked himself.

''I know. And it's not just you. Ever since. . . Ava told me that I. . . and when I came to New York, with her help. . . and when I almost say you die. . . it was awful. I never wana see that again.'' – she answered him, how she felt. A voice inside her head kept screaming at her to tell him her dream. She didn't understand it but she hoped he would. If someone could, he would. His put his palm on the floor. She looked at it and put her hand over it. For the first second, they stood like that and then he pulled away. They were beginning to be friends again but he still wasn't ready to trust her. Not after what happened in her room. Or what she needed him to believe.

He looked at her with a smile. She was still a good friend to him. He couldn't get himself to touch her hand again as he pulled back as there was still a fresh image in his head. It took place in this very room, to his very eyes. He tried to ignore it but it was always somehow there. He watched her face. He knew she was thinking about it too. It seamed like forever passed as he looked at her, at her beautiful face. She was a bit sad but her beauty was so clear as the fresh day. - ''Did I wake you?'' – he merely asked her and she shook her head to her question. – ''No. But you're definitely the reason why I didn't just turn to the other side and closed by yes again.'' – she blushed. Was she flirting with him? This couldn't, just couldn't be. She watched his face as he smiled again and simply said – ''Really? Well, was it at least a good dream?'' – he asked her. She blushed harder. The other reason why she was woke up because it was becoming too much of a good dream. – ''Hm. . . I think you have to pay for that kind of information, mister!'' – she told him. She was ready to hit herself with something. She was flirting with Max Evans alright. And she could name three reasons why shouldn't. Alright, she could name just two and the second one wasn't real a 'no flirting' rule.

He turned his head again. It wasn't ready for anything like this. – ''I have to go.'' – he told her and quickly got up. She watched him walk to the stairs and as he went down, their eyes met one more time and it reminded her how much she loved him. It reminded him of that night again. He just couldn't let go. Could he?

Chapter 2

Image

Her cell phone started ringing loudly. Her first reaction was to hit it and so she did. It still didn't go off. She turned to the other side and covered her head with the pillow to hide herself from the sound. It still didn't go away and she didn't feel like opening her eyes for nothing. Suddenly, she heard the doors open and then footsteps towards her bed. When she turned around and opened her eyes, she saw her dad taking her cell and turning the alarm off. She smiled. – ''Thank you.'' – she told him. He kept being silent as he looked at her. - ''You said you would get up early. I don't have time for him today. I can't deal with that alien.'' – he told her. She sat up on her bed, revealing her night guy's shirt. – ''What do you mean by that? He's still royalty, dad!'' – she said to him, acting like a kid. And then she heard him go on and on. She tried to turn herself off so she wouldn't have to hear it but still words kept coming out. She heard a few things. ''He is no royalty! I serve only the true heirs to the Antarian throne. And the all mighty Zan isn't one of them!!'' – ''You promised he would be your responsibility!'' – ''Don't make me call your uncle Kal!''

And then she turned back to him. When she heard his last threat. Her eyes slowed clear rage. – ''Don't you dare! If I find out that you said one word to him, you won't live long enough to apologize! Got that?!'' – she was never a mean person. Not to her friends at least. But sometimes she didn't like acting nice. He just sighed and walked out of the room. By that time, she was already on her feet, stretching. She wore nothing but a guy's shurt, revealing her sexy green panties. It didn't take her long to realize that she was not alone. She opened her eyes and saw him. He wore blue jeans and a black shirt. His hair was still long but stylish. The only thing weird about him was his piercing in his chin. He had a clear smirk in his face as he looked at her. She was already too annoyed with John, that she just didn't have the nerve to dal with him right now. – ''What's so funny, Zan?'' – she asked him with a harsh tone of voice. – ''You kno', don't think I haven't figured it 'ut, Val. You an' your dad. He's n't reall' much of a help. When I talk t' him, he act' like I'm crap. I'd understand if he wa' a regular dude but I kno', an' so do you, that he's a shape shifter. So, why th' hate?'' – despite his bad English, she could get what he was saying.

She calmed down by now and sat on the bed. It was not easy to explain. He was asking her to speak something she couldn't. She was having a hard time as it is, going agance her brother's wishes. She hadn't spoken to him in ages but she knew that he would know about Zan by now. But ever since she met him, a few weeks back, in front of her building. She just couldn't let go. He had been living here with her and John for those few weeks. What happened was that after that crazy with him, he left her and got back to his own crowd. She didn't know for sure but she had a lucky guess that they were. As he made such a mark on her, she couldn’t let him just go on his own.

[Flashback]
It was a few hours before he left her. She got tired of waiting so she put on some clothes and her coat and walked of the building. For a while, she walked through the streets like she knew where she was going. It even seamed that she left Manhattan but she couldn't tell. It seamed like she was going through a dream of some kind. Then suddenly, she entered a bit of a bad street. She stopped for a bit unsure where to go from there. She reached her hand to the wall next to her and suddenly, she had a kind of a vision. She saw a woman looking at a man who then gave her a ball. She saw Zan with them, with another guy and a girl. Stepping away from the guy, she gave the ball to Zan who then started hitting to the ground as he walked. Then, it fell to the road and he fell with it. The next thing she saw was the other guy with them reaching his hand and the truck going for Zan hit him. As the vision was over, she let go of the wall. She was in panic. She couldn't just loose him, not now.

She rushed through the streets like she knew where she was going, and then she found the place. She saw a man on the ground and the other three walking away. A girl with pink hair tried to go back to him but the guy kept holding her. For a minute the other woman turned and looked at Val. As their eyes met, she knew who it was. It was Velandra, Zan's sister. Moments later, the three turned to a street. Once she couldn't see them anymore, she rushed to Zan and pulled him to the sidewalk. He was heavy for her. She looked at him, he was bloody. It was just ran over by a car, she wasn't surprised. She watched his lifeless body for a bit; and then took his hand. Zan, you may not hear me but your soul can. I know you're still there. Our souls need to time excape. Are you here? Am I too late? ZAN!!!!, she thought inside her own thoughts. She looked down believing she had failed when her mind told he something. Or better yet, Zan told her something. Val? That you? How 'd you do that?, she heard him. She smiled, even a tear dropped down her face. Zan, give me your healing power. Let me have it. Just for a bit. You can do it. Just open yourself to me. Force your energy to that., but instead of a replay, she felt he was trying. For a bit nothing and then suddenly, she felt a power boost. She felt his powers inside her. All of them. He was even stronger then she thought. She reached her head over his heart and focused herself. She kept thinking how he couldn't die. How she needed him. Maybe that she even loved him. Suddenly, her hand glowed. It kept glowing for a long while and then suddenly, she felt his powers returned to him. He opened his eyes to her and she kissed his cheek. – ''What just happen? Where'd Lonnie, Rath and Ava go?'' – she heard him say and shook her head. – ''You need to come with me. I can explain everything. You can't go back to them. Not yet, anyway.'' – she told him. He was still weak but he followed her.
[end flashback]

And he was living here ever since. She smiled at her thoughts when she heard him speak again. – '''ello, I asked something. Ain't you gona answer?'' – she looked at him. – ''Sorry, Zan. Yea, sure. Um, what was the question?'' – she asked him. She stretched her left eyebrow. As she heard him repeat his question. She nodded. – ''O.K., well, John is my protector. He raised me so I call him dad. He's a shapeshifter. And my brother sent me here to. . . stop you. All of you.'' – she told him. His face showed his true feelings. He couldn't believe it. He got into the room and sat on the sofa next to the window. She got up and sat next to him, with her feet on it.

''Your brother? You gotta kill us?'' – he asked her. She shook her head as an answer but said nothing. He had his right to ask his questions. Unlike her brother, she still respected the king. And clearly loved him. But why, she could not understand. She knew almost all of her history on Antar and Ryctor, her home planet and yet his history with Zan was blank. – ''Who is he? Is he Khivar? Why'd he send yo' here if not to kill?'' – he looked at her. And she looked at him. She was still silently. – ''ANSWER ME!!'' – he yelled. She made a twitch with her shoulders as she heard him shout. She hated him shout. And then something clicked. She never heard Zan yell. Maybe in another life. It was still to blank to know. – ''Yes, he's my brother. I think me sent me but there are still things in my past life that I don't know. Just like you.'' – she told him. He was confused. – ''Did I know yo'?'' – she shrugged. – ''I don't know. That's the thing most confusing. I have all these memories. Of Antar, and Ratos, your war commander, and Velandra and Khivar. And yet, I know nothing about you. Nothing. And yet, when you yell, I know I hate it. I heard it before. Zan, this is as confusing to me as it is you. But I promise you. I don't want to kill you. John may not like you but he's too afraid of me to try. So is everyone working for me. I'm treated as princess but not because my brother is the king. But because my father was once a great king of Ryctor, the once ruling planet of the system of our six planets.'' – she told him so much. Most of it just came out, like she had nothing to hide from Zan. And as far as she knew. She didn't.

They both sat there in a silence for a bit. She supposed it was too much information to him. She looked at him for a bit, he was soo hot. She was just crazy about him. She had sexual urges around him that she didn't know existed before she met him. But she kept herself calm, she respected him. She said nothing before he did, to give him time. – ''So. . . they tri'd t' kill me, ha?'' – he asked her. She nodded with a shrug of her shoulders. – '' I think so. I didn't actually see it happen. I had it my vision. I sometimes see the future. That's how I knew where you were.'' – she explained to him. He nodded as if he understood but she knew by his face that it wasn't true. She leaned to him and put her palms on his chest, feeling the soft shirt over him. He looked at her hands and then at her. – ''Zan, I know it's all hard to understand. Velandra's your sister. Before and now. And Ratos is supposed to be your best friend. And I promise you, that in that other, nicer world, He is. He's great. But you weren't the lucky one. And I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. – he kept apologizing again and again. Finally, he put his hands over her hands and looked at her. – Don't be. It ain't yo'r fault. They di' it to me. Not you.''- he told her and then put his hands around her, hugging her. It was all too much to him. Now. He wanted to stop all this spread of information, until he was ready for more.

She let him hug her but she ment what she said. She kept opening her mouth to words 'so sorry' but nothing came out. She blamed herself without knowing why. But she also knew of a better world, in a small town called Roswell. Where she also lived, with the name of Liz. With a happier Zan, and a loving Velandra and a loyal Ratos. She felt sorry that she couldn't give him all of that. Just couldn't give him all of that.

Chapter 3

Liz moved around the dinner through most of the day, working her ass off. Maria and Michael worked with her. In the middle of the afternoon, Isabel and Max came to the dinner. Liz didn’t see them at first but Maria made it happen. – ‘’Your space boy is here!’’- Liz looked at her. She was leaning on the counter with Michael next to her. He just rolled his eyes to her comment as Liz turned her head to see them sit down at a booth. She could hear Maria talking to her on her ear. – ‘’I’m pretty sure that’s your table, girl.’’ – she just nodded walked to them with her small note book. – ‘’Hi. What can I get you?’’ – she asked them. Max looked at her while Isabel kept staring into the menu. – ‘’Hi, Liz. Sorry about this morning.’’ – he told her. She just shook her head. – ‘’No worries. Are you O.K.?’’- she watched him nod and she smiled. The next thing she heard was Isabel talking. – ‘’I’ll have the. . .- Liz turned to her as she paused. Waited. And then suddenly a silly song on the radio stopped playing and something else came on. As soon as she heard it, she knew it.

It was her song. She looked at Max and then realized. It was their song. Her eyes watered with all of her tears and her notebook fell to the ground. All she could real hear was the song and the Max from the future telling her about their wedding. She could see Max talking but she didn’t hear him. She just turned and ran behind, to the back part. He rushed to it when Michael was expecting to the doors. – ‘’Michael, let me go. Something’s wrong!! – he kept explaining to his friend but Michael wouldn’t let him through. He looked at his face. – “Maxwell, you can’t. I’ll go.”- he was confused. He watched him for a few seconds when Isabel and Maria came through the doors. – ‘’But I have to. . .’’- he just said but Michael interrupted him. – ‘’You have to watch my burgers. I’ll go check up on her. Take it easy!’’ – he told him. Max was surprised what a great friend he had. He nodded. Michael walked upstairs and Max stood there for a bit and looked at Isabel, who only said, - ‘’Burgers!’’- and Max rushed to the kitchen and tried to make his way out of this mess. He saw how hard it was for Michael. But his mind was with Liz.

Michael walked to the doors and knocked on them. Liz sat on the bed, with her back turned to the bed when she heard them. – ‘’What?’’- she just said through her tears. Michael opened the doors as she turned to face him. – ‘’Oh. Hey, Michael.‘’- she told him. She watched him cover over to her and sat on the chair across her. He watched her in silence for a bit. – ‘’Thank you. I don’t need. . .’’- she tried to finished her sentence when Michael cut in to finish it for her. – ‘’A million questions right now? That’s what I stopped downstairs. Thought that. But, if you want to talk. I’m here.’’ – she smiled at him. He could be so surprising at times. – ‘’It’s just that. . . my favorite song came on. And I have a few nice memories with it. Memories that I will never really have. – he watched her, as he talked, without making any sence. – ‘’If I tell you something, will you promise not to tell. Michael, please, I need you to promise.’’- she told him. She had to tell someone. Tell anyone. – ‘’Sure. Promise. Tell me.’’- as he spoke, she put her legs on the bed and looked at him for a bit before she spoke.

“Max and I, everyone thinks we’re ment to be. That’s what I thought a few weeks back. Until Max told me the truth. No, wait, I take that back. Max didn’t tell this. But he did. One night, he just appeared on my balcony. He told me he was from the future, and he was here to stop us from. . . from. . . getting married. Because if that was to happen, you would all eventually die.” – she kept talking, and hoping that he wouldn’t stop her before she could say everything. – ‘’As much as I love Max, I can’t do that to you guys. To you and Isabel. And Max. He told me, two weeks before he came, you died. And about two before he came, Isabel died.’’ – she told him. She stopped talking. That was pretty much it. She skipped the part about the wedding as she really didn’t feel like taking about it. She looked at him.

‘’So, you’re saying that Max came all the way from the future to stop you two from being together, right?’’ – she only nodded to his question. – ‘’And he did to save me and Isabel.’’ – she nodded again. ‘’And you went along with it? You slept with Kyle so you could help him?’’ – she shook her head and got up, staring walking around the room. – ‘’That’s not what happened. No. I didn’t sleep with him. We got into bed and Max. . . he just saw us.’’- she told him the truth. She couldn’t believe herself. Maybe, he was her friend, but he was Max’s friend before anything. – ‘’I fought a thousand battles but watching you do that was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.’’- she said, repeating something the future Max had told her. Michael looked at her, confused. –‘’What?’’- he asked her. – ‘’That’s what he said. That’s how he felt when. . . he saw me and Kyle.’’- she told him.

Then she just down on the bed again and watched him process it all. It took him about 10 or 15 minutes to get through it. Then he looked back at her. He didn’t seamed so hard as he was before this whole talk started. –‘’But you still didn’t tell why you came here. What hurt you in that song?’’- she heard him say. She would have let it slip and acted like it never happened. She didn’t know what she wanted to talk about really. She just wanted someone to listen. – ‘’It was just something Max told me. The other Max. About our wedding and how it would be our song. I shall believe.’’ – she told him. She refused to get into details, and hoped he would not push her. He just nodded to what she said, like he understood. – ‘’So is that all that has been bothering you, Liz? Nothing more?’’ – he asked her. There was the matter of her dream but she wasn’t sure how she would tell him about it.

She considered telling him a bit and not everything as she needed someone to talk to. But she didn’t feel ready enough to tell him, or anyone else everything about it. – ‘’Do you ever dream that you’re someone else?’’ – she asked him. He smiled and nodded to her question. – ‘’A lot times. Why?’’ – he asked her then. He knew it wasn’t so strange for him to do it but why would she go through it. – ‘’Cause, the past few days, I’ve been dreaming about a different me. In my dreams, I live New York, with my dad. Single dad. And I’m Zan.’’ – she told him. She wanted to hit herself. She used to be so much more controlling of her feelings. – ‘’Liz, Zan is dead. If you’re dreaming him, it would probably mean that you’re Max. Maybe you want him back?’’ – he said with a wink and a bit of a smile. She stared at him. – ‘’Michael, that’s not the point. Afcourse I want him back. But that’s not going to happen. I didn’t go through all of it just to get back with him. Besides, I know how he looks at me now. I doubt he’d ever want me back.’’- she answered him harsh. She just didn’t think it was any of his business anymore. – ‘’Fine.’’- he just said and got up- As he started walking to the doors, he stopped next to her and put his hand on her shoulder. – ‘’You may think that now, but Max loves you. I think he’s been in love with you since you were kids. That kind of love isn’t always forgotten. Trust me. And I won’t say a word.’’ – he told her. She put her hand over his hand. Suddenly, she saw something. Something weird. She saw Rath kissing her. But it was different this time, it seamed like she was someone else. As it stopped, she noticed he was looking at her weirdly. – ‘’Michael, did you see. . . when Rath kissed me?’’ – she just watched him nod his head. – ‘’I’m sorry. Should have told you. How’d you know?’’- He asked her in the middle of his talking. She just shrugged. – ‘’I just did.’’- He just nodded and left her in the room.

As he left her room, he stopped for a bit. He was confused on how she knew about that. How could she have known that he seen them. He just shook his head and walked downstairs. He found Max trying his ass to save what could be saved but he clearly sucked at cooking. He could see Isabel using her powers to fry things up. – ‘’Isabel!’’ – he said as he came to them and tried fixing the mess the did. –‘’I told you, no funny business in my kitchen!’’- she just rolled her eyes. – ‘’At least now, they taste better!’’ – he smirked at her comment and started flipping burgers. Max leaned on the doors. – ‘’What’s up, Maxwell?’’- Michael spoke to him. Max stayed silenced waiting for him to talk. – ‘’Look, nothing happened. She just heard the wrong song’’ – he could see Max was confused. What neither knew was that Liz was sitting on the stairs and listening to what they were talking. She felt a bit unsure about trusting him. – ‘’I shall believe? But that’s her favorite song!’’- Michael shrugged. –‘’Yea, well, she’s a chick, don’t try to explain what she does. It won’t do you any good, man.’’- Max just turned his head away and walked out of the place through the back door. Michael wanted to follow him but he had a job to do. As he stopped at the back door, he turned and saw Liz sitting on the stairs. He smiled and she smiled back. Walking to the stairs, she caught the handle. – ‘’You feeling better?’’ - he asked her and she just nodded. As she walked down the stairs, she whispered. – ‘’Thank you.’’ – and then she went to work.

She was glad to have Michael as a friend, and she was too stupid to know that sometimes. She went on her work with Maria and Isabel stayed in the back with Michael who clearly wasn’t going to tell her anything. – ‘’You know, if she told you something big, you should tell us!’’- she protested. – ‘’Isabel, get over it. I’m not telling. Liz is my friend and she can have her life! Go home!’’- he brushed her off and she took of through the dinner. As Liz came for her order, she had a bit of a worried face. – Don’t worry, kid. She’s Isabel. If it’s ain’t her way, she’s not coming.''- she smiled and got back to work.

Chapter 4

Val and Zan spent the day talking. They didn’t get back to the Antar talking since the morning and Val was kinda hoping it stayed that way since she didn’t have much to stay anymore. Zan had been living in her apartment for a few weeks now, mostly sleeping in his own room, with occasional visits to Val’s room. She didn’t mind it but John did. She hated not knowing so much about her past life. She wanted to explain everything to Zan and yet, she didn’t understand why she felt like that since she really had no memories about them to tell. She could remember her and Velandra when they were young, she could remember her brother trying to impress the princess and how Velandra would smile to every time he did. Sometimes, she would dream about Khivar acting strangly. Like, he was less then normal but she showed no attention to it as it was probably her seeing her dreams wrong.

It was almost night, the sun was going down. She stood before the big glass door of the balcony, staring at the Empire State Building as the sun hid behind it. She was alone in the living room but she knew the cook and the maid were in the kitchen, while Zan was probably in his room, being himself. She sighed at the red sky, it beautiful. It reminded her of her home, a bit. She was only a kid when she left there but she still remembered it, despite the memory confusement in her head. She didn’t know how long she was standing there, with her mind in the clouds that just got darker with each step that the sun took down. Before she could realize it, it was night. Zan came up to her and put his hand on her shoulder, which brought her back to reality; the only reality she ever really knew. She looked at him, with a smile, which he returned. He was so hot at times.

‘’You alright?’’ – she heard him say and nodded to his question. – ‘’Yea, I’m cool. Just been thinking of this beauty.’’ – she told him and looked out the glass again. It was beautiful, with the full moon before her. He put his hand around her shoulder and looked outside. Zan wasn’t much of a romantic and he really didn’t see it but she saw in him, he was happy with that. – ‘’So, it’s getting kinda late, wana crash?’’ – she heard him say, and looked at him, with a confused face, with a few wrinkles showing with her face. – ‘’Excuse me?’’ – she asked him, all fancy. – ‘’Sleep, your highness of classy.’’- she laughed to what he said. She knew she hat to be offended but who cared, he was funny. She nodded, she didn’t mind going to sleep.

They turned and started walking through the living room, his hand moved now around her waist, and so did hers. She felt a bit stupid, a little middle-aged at that point but she didn’t really want to let go. As the got to her bedroom, he moved his hand and turned to go to his room, when she caught his hand and he turned his face to her again. – ‘’Don’t go tonight.’’- she told him. She needed to sleep next to him. He just nodded and followed her into her room.

Twenty minutes later, they were laying in bed, naked, under the covers. As he moved away from her and sighed, she leaned to him and rested her head on his chest. – ‘’Still want me to stay?’’- she smiled to his question. – ‘’Yea, stay with me.’’- he didn’t say anything after that as he fell a sleep, with her head on his chest.

[Val’s dream]
As she opened her eyes, it seamed like she was in cloud, she looked down and saw the most beautiful skies, she was right, that sundown did remind her of her home planet. She was in the clouds of Ryctor, where she was born. But why she was here, she had yet to understand. Suddenly, she felt like something was pulling her into the land, a desert. She saw a castle in distance, it was huge. She had never seen anything like it, not in this life time. She felt speeding again, she came into the palace, as she could feel like she was flying through the corridors, she knew where she was going, she was going in the bedchamber of the queen. Queen Laqua of the planet Ryctor. As she came into the room, she could feel the doors closing behind her and a woman screaming. As she looked further on, she saw a woman on the flour. She was beautiful. She long brown hair and black eyes, she looked Goddess, and yet so human. She heard another scream, 10 women around her, they had blond hair and blue eyes, they looked angels. They went around her, trying her help her, she was in pain and they were not used to the screams.

The eldest of them kneeled before queen and kept saying something, the words she couldn’t stand, but she knew what they ment, like it was a forgotten language, something she once knew. She told her to push. A few times, she told her the same thing, when finally, she heard a baby cry. A baby girl was born, she a peace hair on her head, it brown and her eyes black as mothers. She could hear the queen speaking, reaching out to the eldest woman, who then gave the girl to her. A smile came upon the woman’s face.

She held the baby girl as she felt another wanting to get out, she gave the baby to one of the women and continued pushing and creaming, when suddenly a baby appeared again. This time, it was a boy. A peace of her hair on his head, it was lighter then the girls. As well as his eyes, almost green. The child was given to his mother and as she saw his eyes, hers lighted with anger, turned red. ‘’No!’’, Val could heard her say. ‘’Take this child. That is not my child. That is not the child of Ryctor royalty line. Give me my daughter!’’ – she said as one of the women handed the girl. The queen calmed down as the baby cried in her arms. Once it felt her mother’s heart, she stopped and looked her, her eyes black as the night, just like her mother. – ‘’She is beautiful. She will be my heiress. She will take my throne one day. I shall call you Kivana Eli, my beautiful beautiful little princess.’’ – she told her daughter when she heard his son call out to her with his cry. Val could see her roll her eyes.

She reached her hand for the boy to be brought to her. She held them both to each other, Kivana held on to the brother, her mother smiled. Her daughter would protect him. – ‘’My daughter accepts her brother, then so shall I. I shall call you Khivar, child. You will be raised as prince, but only as the heiress’s brother.’’ – she said coldly. She was not as cold as one would say about her but she had her way, unexplained to must. But she was a mother, at least to one of her children. She kissed her child’s forehead.

Val wanted to say something, never mind them hearing her, she wanted to say something about this little girl but then, she speeded up again, she was in the royal garden, before her two children. A small boy in the grass, hitting around, as if he couldn’t stand anything around him. She stood beside the queen, as she could see it, she spoke to her husband Metpar. They looked worried, he more then her. – ‘’How could this my, my wife? How could my son be like this?’’- he demanded to know. She didn’t take her eyes from Khivar as she spoke back to him. – ‘’I do not know, Metpar, but it was clear at his birth that he would normal, he would be real royalty. His eyes, his hair. He looks slave.’’ – she told him,she was a mean person!, Val thought to herself as she looked at the children. She could see the girl looking straight at her. Like she knew she was here.

‘’Come along, Kivana Eli, your lessons begin shorty.’’ – the queen said to her daughter, he got up from the chair and called to her brother. As he didn’t replay, she walked to him and took his hand and walked to her mother. – ‘’I do not understand why you keep taking him with you, Kivana Eli. He does not understand. And he never shall!’’- her mother told her and walked before them. Val heard a silent voice, it was the girl talking. –‘’That’s what you think, mother. I will be stronger then you. I will restore his mind.’’ – Val was confused. Before her stood a small girl, at age of 5 and yet, she spoke like she was older then mother.

Time moved forward, only a year on, Kivana Eli tried to explain something to Khivar silently when one of the maids came and took him to give him a bath. Kivana Eli stood there as he father came to the room. She turned and nodded to him. – ‘’Ellie, dear, is your mother here?’’- the girl shook her head. Her father was a much nice her man then her mother. He smiled at her and kissed her forehead as he heard footsteps behind him. As he turned to look at him, the pan bowed. Kivana Eli has her focus on the man as well. – ‘’Yes, Rim?’’ – her father said to the man. – ‘’Your majesty, your ambassador from Antar has come to make a report! Sire, please, I must tell you the word in the people.’’ – the king shook his head. – ‘’Sire, please. I believe it to be very important.’’- finally Metpar nodded his head and Rim approached him and began whispering him. Val couldn’t hear but Kivana Eli could. A memory kicked in and she what he told him. The girl didn’t fully understand but Val did. – ‘’Sire, there is word in the people that your ambassador has taken control of Antar and crowned himself!’’- he told him.

The king’s eyes almost fell out when he heard what the man told him. Val could see in his eyes that he refused to believe what his servant was telling her. The ambassador was a dear friend of the king and it was hard for him to accept this. But he nodded. – ‘’Noted. Send him on your way out, Rim!’’- the man nodded and left the room. The king kneeled to his daughter. – ‘’If you don’t have friends, my dear, you are poor person. I don’t believe would to this. Do you?’’- he looked at her innocent eyes. She was only a child, of 6 years, yet so smart. The future queen, he thought to himself with a soft smile. – ‘’Well, I do not trust him.’’ – she told him silently. He padded her head as she saw her pet cat walk behind the couch, she followed her.

The king heard the door closed and looked up to see his old friend, Zannder Sr. Amayx. The had a long history together, since they were children, even their fathers were friends. Metpar opened his arms to his friends for a huge, a smile was on the man’s face. As the ambassador came near to him, he seamed to fall into his hands and answer to his hug but the king formed a painful face. As Zannder moved away from him, Val could see a dagger in his heart. She creamed. She didn’t know and she loved him. And this man, who called himself his friend murdered him. Suddenly, so much fell into place. She looked at the little girl behind the couch, her little head sticking our with big brown eyes staring at father. Val could feel her loss, it was awful.

Another cream, the queen at the back door, she saw had happened, in her own visions, she was well gifted. Val could feel her pain as she searched the room for her daughter. As soon as Kivana Eli saw her mother, she ran to her arms. As she found sanctuary in the queen’s arms, she looked at her father’s murder. – ‘’How dare you, Zannder Amayx! Your own friend! You will be hanged for your crime. And your children sent to exile.’’- the queen raged. She opened her mouth to speak again when when a knife flashed her neck. Kivana Eli screamed, it almost got her hand. Her mother fell to the ground, with her daughter with her. The girl stared at her for a bit, the mother was still alive. With her last breath, she looked at her daughter. – ‘’’Save your brother. Punish the murder!’’ – the girl let out a tear and ran out to the hallway and to her brother.

Val could feel her pulling her. She wanted to see what happened to her parents but her memories were bounded to Kivana Eli’s. For she was her. Finally, she stopped in a children’s room. Khivar at a chair, playing with some silly toy. The girl rushed to him and pulled his hand when Zannder came inside. Kivana Eli stood before her brother. – ‘’You are very brave, child. You will not die. You will remember this day. I shall treat you well, you will be raised with my children. Both of you. Now, come, girl.’’- he pulled both of them out of the room. Kivana Eli bit his hand and pulled her brother away. The man pulled out his weapon. – ‘’I will kill him if you do that again, princess. This is one and last warning. Do as say!‘’ – she let down her guard and let the man take her.

The next several days, they spent on a ship, in a small room, staring at the planets as the passed them by. Finally the arrived, on a planet called Antar. Kivana Eli was well advanced with her schooling so she knew well where she was. They got of the ship with the ambassador, the crowd cheered to him. Val was confused, as so was the little girl. It seamed, the more she knew, the more memories came back to her. She was confused how they could cheer to her father’s murder. But soon, she would learn that her parents were not loved by the Antarian’s. And all because of the bad stories that the new king told them all.

He led them into his palace. Antar was nothing like Ryctor. It was beautiful, green, full nature. And the palace, it was ten times fancier. How they could spend all this time on self-indolent, when they had to take care of the people, as well as possible wars, Val asked herself. She felt someone looking at her. It was the girl. Strangely, she knew she was there. And as memories hit her, she always knew. As if her future and past were already written.

Finally, the entered the private areas of the royal family. A woman with long blond hair played with boy of black hair and girl with short blue hair. – ‘’My wife, it is done!’’ – the king cheered. His wife came to him and kissed him. Then she turned to their children, glowing, she spoke to them. – ‘’Children, Zan, Velandra, you are now a prince and a princess.’’- Val watched them. Zan had his eye on Kivana, not moved his look from her, not even when his mother made the annocement. And Velandra really did act as in her part memories that Val had so far. Like a queen. Her mother looked proud.

But the king noticed his son’s gaze at the girl and his tapped his shoulder. Finally, his look to her was broken. He looked at his father. – ‘’Those two will be your slaves. Yours and your sisters. Which do you want?’’ – the boy opened his mouth to speak but Velandra was quicker. – ‘’The girl is mine!!’’- she creamed. The boy looked disappointed. His father whispered to him. – ‘’I’m sure you will share.’’- he told him. As he looked at Kivana Eli and Khivar, he waved his hands to them to approach. – ‘’Come, you two!’’

She walked to him and the boy, holding her brother’s hand. – ‘’Introduce yourself!’’- he told her. She looked at him with absolute rage. As she turned her look to the boy and his sister who now was next to him, she nodded. – ‘’I am Kivana Eli and this my brother Khivar.’’ – she heard giggle and turned to Velandra. – ‘’What is so hilarious, girl? How would find it if laughed to your face. You look like a slave Ryctor. Blond hair!’’- she shouted. The next thing Val saw was their feet. The king hit her. –‘’Do not speak to her like that. Ryctor is no more, girl!’’- as he said it, an image came her. She had completely crossed it from her mind.

Val closed her eyes in the same time as the little girl. Only a few hours as the left Ryctor, the ship trembled at something, she remembered creaming screams. As if a thousands voices were turned down, in a heartbeat. The girl began cry. And so did Val. It was too painful. She could never go back to her mother’s or father’ grave. She would see her friends, she would be home again. This was her home. She looked at the boy, who offered his hand to her. The king and queen were already gone. –‘’What wrong with him?’’- he heard Velandra say.

Kivana Eli dried her tears and looked at Velandra coming to Khivar. – ‘’His knowledge is in me. I learn for him too. Someday, I’ll give it back to him.’’- she looked at Khivar as he blushed. He maybe wasn’t at his mind as the rest were but somethings didn’t need a brain to understand. She smiled. Her brother was in love. She looked back at the little prince. And so was he.

[Dream End]

She woke up in the middle of the night, her eyes in tears. As she opened them, she saw Zan sitting up in the middle and looking at her. – ‘’What?’’- she asked him. He was looking at her strangely. –‘’Nothing. You were crying and saying stuff in your dream.’’- she sat up. – ‘’What stuff?’’ – she needed to know. She wouldn’t lie to him but she didn’t want him to get parts of things. – ‘’Things you said. They didn’t make sense. Someone you couldn’t trust, introducing yourself to something. Telling someone about knowledge?’’- he got off the bed. She was saying out loud everything the little girl said. She walked to her bathroom and washed away her tears and then came back, he still look confused. She sat up on the bed and crossed her legs.

‘’We should talk.’’ – she told him, to get his attention. Then she told him about her dream.

Chapter 5

‘’Come on, Michael, tell me!’’ – Max demanded from his friend. – ‘’No, man. I promised!’’- Michael answered. Isabel just rolled her eyes.

They were in the Evans’s place, in the kitchen. Max wanted to know what Liz told him but Michael refused to tell him. Isabel, she was there. – ‘’Enough already. Max, there are biggest chances that he’ll tell you if you DON’T PUSH! Michael, how dare you take over us! It’s just like Max.”- Max called out with ‘’Hey!” but Isabel ignored him. – ‘’We promised we wouldn’t. It’s just not fair!’’- but Max wasn’t going to give up.

The door bell rang and Isabel went to open them. Max gave a look to Michael. – ‘’What?”- Michael said with his shoulders shrugging. Second late, Isabel came back in with Tess. – ‘’Look who’s here!’’- she told them. – ‘’Hi!’’- Tess and Max said to each other and Michael nodded to her. – ‘’So, what’s up?’’- both Max and Michael shook their head like they were talking about nothing and Isabel, being Isabel blurted it out just like that. – ‘’Michael talked Liz when she got upset and now he’s not telling Max what they called about. It’s crazy!’’- she felt their looks on her and just looked back. – ‘’O.K., so does anyone wants to the movies? I hear there’s a great comedy.’’- Michael said he had to go home, Isabel said she didn’t want to go see a movie and Max couldn’t think of anything to get out of it. – “Max would love to go, Tess.”- Isabel but it. Tess smiled.

As everyone pretty much left, Isabel was left on her own and it felt really boring. She got her phone and dialed Alex’s number. There was no answer. She knew he was out with Maria, so she hang up. She really had nothing to do now. She walked to her room and sat on her bed. As she looked around, she found the last year’s yearbook, so she opened it. She found herself, pretty as always and then she went a bit snooping. First, she saw Alex’s cute smile. She put her hand over his picture and closed her eyes. But it wasn’t much. It was a lot, to her, actually. It was them, dancing. She was happy. But it didn’t last long. She got out of it and turned to page, found Kyle. She put her hand over it and closed her eyes again.

Kyle was in a small room, crying. Isabel laughed. She could hear him saying things like: ’’I don’t do it!’’ or ‘’Nothing happened.’’ But she didn’t understand it. She got out of it pretty fast. She turned the page again and found Liz. She smiled. Maybe, she could get out her conversation before Max got it from Michael. She put her hand over her picture and closed her eyes. She didn’t have a clue what she was getting into.

It turned out that Liz crashed that night sooner then usual. She was already in her dreaming faze and as soon as Isabel closed her eyes, she was sucked into another world. Liz was having Val’s dream. Isabel was confused by all of it. The woman giving birth, the names of the children, the boy being mentally less able, the ambassador of Antar killing the children’s father, that man turning out to be her father, and the girl and the boy becoming her and her brother’s slaves. That’s where the dream stopped. What was most confusing was that it wasn’t really Liz’s dream. She saw her not far from her, standing there, looking at the same thing as she did.

As soon as she opened her eyes, she got of the bed and took her cell, dialed her brother’s number and then heard it ringing. - ‘’Come on!!’’ – she was inpatient.

It was in the middle of the movie, Max’s phone started ringing. Tess looked at him and then everybody else started throwing popcorn at him. As he could see it was Isabel, he got up and walked out of the place, with Tess following.

‘’Isabel? Is everything alright?’’ – he could hear her breathing weirdly. – ‘’Max, you won’t believe this. I went. . . dream walking to Liz’s. . . listen me!’’ – she finished as Max tried to give her lecture about going into Liz’s dream. – ‘’Max, this is bigger. The thing’s she dreaming scare me! I’ll meet you at Michael’s.’’- she hanged up and Max looked at Tess. – ‘’What is it, Max?’’ – she asked him with her sweet ‘Tess-a-like’ voice. – ‘’She saw something. We have to get to Michael’s.- she nodded and he drove her to Michael’s.

As they got there, Isabel was already there, with Michael looking like someone beat him up (Isabel woke him up). –‘’Well?’’ – he asked her, as soon as they were in, and the doors closed. Isabel then told them what she saw in her dream. When she finished, leaving nothing out, they kept staring her. It was just a bit too much for them; because if it was true, Liz was one them, maybe even . . . their enemy, Max thought to himself. It was not easy to think, let alone say. But he had to. – ‘’What do you think it means?’’- Isabel shrugged. She had no idea but she wanted, or needed to get to bottom of this.
Liz was just too much inside the gang to let slide.

‘’So what do we do?’’ – Tess’s voice came into the picture. She had been sitting silently next to Isabel all evening. Michael turned to her with an angry voice. – ‘’Our friend could be in trouble and you want involved?!’’- Isabel and Max turned to him – ‘’Calm down, Michael!’’- the two said at the same time.

Chapter 6

The next day was a pretty one. The gang spent the morning in school and around lunch the pretty much gathered. Alex, Maria and Liz sat at an empty round table and Liz looked around, surprised that Max, Michael or Isabel weren't joining them. As soon as the sat down, she looked at her tray, food as usual. She leaned her head on her right arm, as she heard the conversation begin. Her eyes fell to Maria and Alex.

‘’So is it true? Your mom really went out with the sheriff?’’ – Liz could se Maria’s eyes rolled. She was not happy about talking about. Who would be, Liz thought to herself. But she said nothing out loud as someone else joined them. She looked on her left, it was Kyle. He sat next to her and smiled to her. She smiled back. – ‘’Can I have your pudding if you don’t want it, Liz?’’- he asked her first. She nodded and hanged it to him. He leaned forward and kissed her check. – “Thanks. You saved me!’’- but in the middle of his kissing, she moved back with her hand between them. – “Kyle, don’t!’’- she put her arms down again and looked at him. – “Yea, sorry about that.’’- he said and digged into the pudding.

Liz looked back at Maria. She seamed to have missed half of their conversation. She was only glad that Kyle’s behavior didn’t draw their attention, which ment no questions from Maria. – ‘’. . . yea, that’s what I told her! It’s the sheriff! Liz, what do you think?’’- Maria looked at Liz. – ‘”Liz?”- Liz blinked once to get back to them. – “Um, yea. Your mom and the sheriff. Actually, they look good together.” – and before she knew it Kyle and Maria were giving her the looks like she supposed a mass murder or something.

Max, Michael, Isabel and Tess sat around their own table, in a clear distance from Liz, Maria, Alex and Kyle. Max could see Kyle kissing Liz’s check and her backing away from him. He found that a bit strange. He looked back at his friends and sister. – ‘”So, what do we do, Max?”- his sister asked him. He only shrugged. – “Maybe if we just asked her.”- Michael tried. – “No!” – Isabel and Max told him at the same time. Tess was quiet. They weren’t sure if it was because of Michael snapping out at her last night or was it something else. Isabel looked at Max and nodded her head to Tess. She was pushing him to make sure she was alright.

‘”Tess, is everything alright?” – she smiled and looked at him. He didn’t mind her but right now, he couldn’t stand that smile. She knew that things weren’t right between Liz and she was using that to get close to him. Isabel saw nothing bad in that. Michael was being on Liz’s side on this one. –“No, I’m O.K., just thinking about something.”- she smiled again and started drinking her soda.

Liz could feel a gaze on her back and as she turned, she saw Max, Isabel, Michael and Tess in a distance. They seamed to be looking at her from time to time. – “I’ll be right back.”- she told her friends and got up. – “What’s wrong?”- she could hear Maria’s voice and she just waved her hand for her not to worry.

She walked over to them. – “Hi, guys.”- she told then. All she got was a bit of a muttered “Hey.” From everyone but Michael. – “Hey, Liz!” – her mind was on Kyle and she had the idea that this about that night. She looked at Max. – “Max, are you alright?”- she asked him. He gave her a look on her face that she couldn’t forget. And this was beyond the one he had when he saw her with Kyle. He was angry at her and yet sad because of some betrayal that she didn’t even know she did. – “I’m fine!”- he answered her question. Liz moved a step back and looked at the rest of the group. Isabel and Tess had as cold faces as Max. She looked at Michael then, he looked confused.

“So, Liz, does your Physics genius reputation still stand?” – he asked her to change to subject. And he really needed it. The professor told him he would be failing it and should get some help. He recommended Liz to him. Liz let out a small smile. – “I guess. Why?”- she asked him. – “Might falling. Given orders to ask for your help.” – she nodded. – “Yea, sure. We both have the afternoon shift so wana study after we close?” – she watched him nod. – “Bring your books. I’ll see guys, later.” – she told them. Why the change of mood to her, she didn’t understand. But she didn’t want it to get in the way of anything right now.

She turned around and walked to her table. Michael watched her leave and soon realized he was getting angry looks from his own gang. – “What? What did I do?”- he asked them. Isabel just rolled her eyes.

Liz came to sit with Maria, Alex and Kyle again. They all seamed a bit worried. – “Everything is fine, guys.” – she told them. Alex and Kyle returned to their lunch and Maria kept looking at her. – “What was that about? With Michael?”- she asked Liz. – “Maria, nothing’s wrong. He just asked a bit of a help in Physics.”- Maria nodded. Liz knew her friend knew what it was about since she and Michael went to Physics together.

Chapter 7

Valerie woke up the next day; Zan wasn’t next to her anymore. It took her a bit to recollect all the things that happened over the night. She remembered the dream and waking up crying; and telling Zan about it. She also knew that Liz had the same dream. It took her a bit but once she recalled the end of the dream, she remembered something so strange, that she didn’t even realize at that point. She wasn’t the only one there, seeing her past. She could see another woman. It was Velandra. But by the decent look she had, she knew it was the one from Roswell, one by the name of Isabel Amanda Evans. She knew a lot from Liz’s life, and not from her dreams. She needed to know what was in Roswell after her dreams began so she searched a bit. It wasn’t so easy to find all of it.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a ratchet in the kitchen. She got out of bed and realized that she wore only a her panties. She looked around and found Zan’s shirt. She put it on and walked out of her room, barefoot. As she got to the kitchen, she could see Zan on the floor, cleaning the broken glass on it. He didn’t see here there. Suddenly she felt pain in her left foot. – “Ouch!” – she said loudly and Zan looked up. He gave up what he was doing and walked to her. Before she could protest, he put his hands on her hips and lifted her, sitting her on counter and looked at her foot. – “You shouldn’t be walking barefoot, Val.” – he told her with a smile. She smiled back as he removed the peace of glass from her foot. He held it in her hand and showed it to her.

“That’s small.” – she said with a giggle. – “I know. I thought it was enormous with your words.”- she hit him gently on his shoulder. He opened the small counter doors below her and threw the glass in, a long with the pile he gathered before she got before she came. Then he returned to her and put his arms around her hips and kissed her. She smiled. She loved the taste of her lips. Her taste was confusing to him. It was vanilla but again, it was coconut. He loved it. She opened her mouth for him and hit tongue went in. As the two met in her mouth, Val could feel them rubbing agance each other.

As he moved a bit to give her some air she kissed his neck, slowly made her way to the end of her neck and then came back, she gently pulled his down lip and looked into his eyes. He was a god. He was her god. She smiled. She was happy.

He watched her, as she moved. Kissing his neck, pulling his down lip and then just looking at him. He stared into her eyes. They were beautiful, big and brown. He watched her face; he wanted to remember each bit of it. He didn’t want to leave her but he knew who she was, even if she didn’t know enough, he knew he would have to leave her someday. She was his enemy’s sister. He loved her never the less.

“What is it?” – she asked him as she felt his gaze on her, stronger then hers. He looked at her hair and put a peace of her long brown hair behind her ear. Looking back at her, he kissed her again, with their tongues meeting again for a while. As he moved from her, he leaned his head to hers. – “You know, I think I love you. No, I do. I love you, Val.” – he whispered to her. She moved her head to that and looked at him, a wide smile spread through her face. – “And I love you, Zan.” – she said to him.

Later that day, Val had some school work to finish with a friend. She skipped a year and she was already graduated but she stayed around to help out. She left Zan in the apartment, alone. What he did all day, she didn’t know.

He spent his day, reading a book he found in Val’s room. It was the only book he found and it was a story about two lovers on Titanic. It was little too much for him but it was the only book that Val had, and all the pages were marked several times so what was he to think then that she liked it. So he read on, of the two young lovers.

Around 5 o’clock, he heard the doors closed and he put the door down on the table and went to the door to see who it was. John came home. A weird look came through the both men’s faces as the looked at each other. It took only seconds for John to get together, his face was furious. – “I’m sick of you, being here, Zan. Get out!” – he shouted to him.

“Man, you can’t kick me out. This is Val’s place!!” – Zan shouted back. – “I am her legal guardian on this world. What I say goes!!”- John answered.

The elevator stopped on her floor and she walked out. She really did look like a business woman sometimes. As she came to the doors and took out her keys, she heard loud voices inside. She quickly opened the doors that clearly were unlocked. She found John and Zan arguing in the living room, each had a black eye. Both saw her at the same time. John’s face turned from rage to shame and Zan stood in his position. He knew he shouldn’t have but it was done.

-“What is going on here?!?!?” – she shouted, her voice was even louder then Zan’s or John’s. She looked at John, she was angry and hurt. She trusted her. He was her best friend through all these years and now when she fell in love with Zan, he wanted to turn his back on her. – “John? Zan?”- she asked them. No one of them noticed but a tear well from Val’s face.

-“He should leave. He’s been here too long already, princess.”- she heard John said. She was confused. He never called her that. Not since she was a child. He turned his back to her, and turned to Khivar. She looked at Zan as she answered to her protector. – “I’m sorry you feel like that, John. I thought you would respect me enough to respect my wishes. And my heart’s choices. But I guess I was wrong. You’re just like any servant on Khivar’s side. ”- she looked down.

“No. Don’t say that. I love you. You’re like my daughter. I’m trying to protect you. From this monster. Again. He’ll brake your heart again, Valerie. And it might even hurt more.” – she looked at him, his words struck her. – “What are you talking about? What did he do, in my past life, that you hate him so much? How did he brake my heart, John?”- John looked down. – “Please, tell me! TELL ME!!”- he kept looking down. He couldn’t tell her. It was just too hard. He had a duty to her, as well as to Khivar. He hated Zan but he still wanted her to be happy. – “I’m sorry that I said anything. Don’t listen to me.”- he told her and she rushed to him and hugged him.

She thought it was over and she walked to her room to change. It took her only a bit. She took of her skirt, blouse and jacket and put on a pear of old jeans and a t-shirt. As she came to her doors, she heard whispers in the living room. It was hard to understand all of it but she did get some parts. –“What did you mean by that?” – she could hear Zan asking. – “Nothing. Forget about it, Zan.”- John’s voice answered. – “I have to know. John, I love Val. I love her more then me. If I need something that hurt her feelings, I have to know.”- a tear fell down her check. She loved him so much. – “Look, you were together and then you traded her, for your queen, for Avarisa.”- John’s voice was heard again.

It was not something Val didn’t know. Her heart skipped a beat as she heard it but she knew that the king picked Ava in the end. But she didn’t understand why John said what he said. – “I don’t understand. We were together?”- Zan asked again. Not being able to see, Val didn’t see John nod his head. She waited for an answer but it never came. – “I won’t hurt again.”- Zan carried on.

“Your word doesn’t mean anything. When Khivar gets his hand on you, you will die. Not just for hurting his sister but for existing. Your father did a terrible crime and you will pay for it. Scum!!” – John’s voice rang through the hallway. She put her palm over her mouth as she silently sobbed. But she couldn’t let it be like that. She ran though the hall and into the living room, her palm stretched to John. She didn’t know what she was doing. It was like she couldn’t control herself. – “How dare you? His father murdered my parents and he has gained his punished by his death. The crimes of the parents do not fall on the children. It has never been such a rule. And the queen Laqua of Ryctor wrote it to be as that.”- she looked at his face, he was turning green, chocking. – “What are you doing?”- she could hear Zan’s scared voice.

A green light came out of her hand and struck John’s heart. He fell on the spot. It didn’t take long for Val to understand what she did. She creamed. –“John!!”- she called out to the only father she had ever had. She looked at her palm as a few more small electric lights came out and then completely went out. It scared her. She had her visions as well as her ‘pyrokinesis’ but this was different. It was the first time she experienced anything like it.

“You killed him.” – she heard Zan’s voice. She didn’t even know that he was over John’s body, checking his pulse. – “He’s dead, Val.”- she told her. – “God, you look shaken up.”- he said and run to her. He put his hands on her face, he knew he couldn’t really help her. She couldn’t move. He grabbed her legs and picked her up and carried her into her room. – “I’m going to throw up.” – he just heard her say and took her to the bathroom. She fell to her knees as he put her down and started throwing up into the toilet. He went out of the room and opened her closet taking a simple things, a couple of shirts and pants and put them into the bag that he found under the bed.

At that time, Val was already on her feet, wiping her mouth and walking into the bedroom. When she saw what he was doing, she got confused. She didn’t say anything; it was almost like she couldn’t. But he saw her questioned face. – “I’m packing you. We’re leaving. John’s dead, Val. He can’t protect you anymore. He may be your brother, but I don’t trust your life to him, not for a minute.”- she only nodded, she didn’t want to fight him right not.

Especially after she felt another wave coming. She covered her mouth and rushed to the bathroom, throwing up again.

About 20 minutes later, Zan sat on her bed and looked at her. She was throwing up for the fifth time by now and he got worried. After she brushed her teeth, she walked into her room and walked to the bag to see what he put in. Then she went to her closet and took a few more things. She felt Zan’s look on her. – “What? What are you looking at?” – she asked him and came to him, giving him a kiss on the neck. He put his arms around her back and moved the to him, giving her a hint to sit in his lap. She did it and put her hands around his neck. – “You threw up a bit too much, Val.”- she looked down and nodded but Zan was a head of her. He left one arm holding and put his other under her chin and moved her head up, to look at him. – “I know, Zan. I don’t understand it. Biology was never my best side. I’ll ask Liz, how’s that?”- he looked at her confused. She never mentioned anyone by that name before. – “Who?”- he asked her.

“It’s a really long story, Zan. And I promise I’ll tell you about it, soon. But right now, I think we should get out of here and go to Roswell. We’ll be safe there, at least for a bit.” – he nodded to what she said. He trusted her but he was going to ask her again about that name.

He took a few things of his own clothes and packed into his own bag and carried both of them to the elevator. As they were out, Val found herself confused that no guard was here. This doesn’t look good, she thought to herself but they got to the elevator anyway.

Chapter 8

The place was Michael’s apartment. Everyone was here, even Liz. They were still waiting for Alex and Isabel to get here before they could start. The human part of the gang had no idea what this was all about. Liz suddenly had a weird vibe and it wasn’t from the aliens. She sat down on the couch and as soon as she touched the handle of it she had a flash. John was dead. She jumped out with a scream and everyone turned to her. She could feel them looking at her. – “He’s dead.”- she whispered. Everyone was confused.

Before she had to explain more, Alex and Isabel came inside. They noticed everyone’s look on Liz and Isabel thought that Max already started. –“You said you’d wait before you told them.”- she started. He kept shaking his head, once, twice. He tried to stop her. – “You said you wouldn’t tell them about her before I came, Max.”- she said and looked at everyone. She saw their confused looks and looked and Max who shook his head again. – “You didn’t tell them? Sorry.”- she just sad and sat on an empty chair, while Alex stood by here.

Liz’s attention went from Isabel and Max; Isabel wasn’t making any sense. She looked back at Max finally, who was staring at her. She wanted to ask him way when he began speaking. – “I’m sorry I called you all here. It’s just that, well, Lonnie and Rath. I think we let the go easy.” – he started talking. Liz turned to Michael as he began speaking. –“You’re kidding me! Last time we had a meeting, it was because of a star, now it’s them?” – he rolled his eyes as he spoke and went quiet.

“Michael, they’re not a treat to us yet but neither were the skins. And they’re not gone. Nicholas was at that meeting so it means that they’re all alive.” – he told them. –“But didn’t Tess do something to them?” – Isabel asked her brother, giving a short look to Tess. Liz could feel the urge to talk, to explain. She kept her mouth shut for a bit and when Max started talking, she butt in. – “How could she could kill them like that if Courtney told that you have the press that thing on her back? It’s clear that nothing else works. It was probably a reason why they were made like that. Those suits of theirs were made to hold anything, just like a bullet-proof-west.” – she said, with all eyes on her. Everyone knew this but Max, Isabel and Tess didn’t just want to trust her easily anymore.

After that the meeting pretty much ended and everyone went home. Max noticed that Maria and Michael went together, Isabel, Alex and Tess went together and only Liz went on foot alone. He followed her. She realized he was behind her and at some point she just turned around. – “This is stupid. If you want to walk me home, don’t make it look like your stalking me, Max.”- she told him. – “I wasn’t.”- she heard him say and joined her.

They kept walking in silence for a bit. – “So, what’s going on?”- she stopped in the middle of the way. She could see the dinner not far from here. – “Nothing.”- he told her but he was looking down. – “Max, I know you better then that. That’s lie.”- she told him. – “It’s . . . look, Liz, It’s complicated, I promise I’ll tell you but just not now.”- she heard him say. He had guilt in his voice. He wanted to hate her but he felt guilty for lying to her.

With that, she turned and walked away. He just stood there. – “Good night, Max.” – she only told him before she got into the dinner. She sighed and turned to the other side and walked him.

Liz was tired of lying to him. They were ready to begin their friendship after all that happened and then he was pulling away from her. She needed for him to stop loving her but also needed him, around her, because she still loved him. As soon as she got to her room, she changed to her PJ’s and went to sleep. This day was long and boring as it could possibly be, without even counting Max into all of it.

As soon as she closed her eyes, she fell asleep. As soon as she fell asleep, she began to dream. What she had before, was just beginning, she had much to learn of who she was. She was crying on the inside, trying to tell Max the truth but she couldn’t. Not until she knew everything.

[Liz’s dream]

It seamed that she just continued where she stopped. After meeting Velandra and Zan. She saw her life there. She was a slave, a servant of the princess, but slowly, each year, they grew closer and closer. By the time she was 10, she and Velandra were best friends. Kivana Eli even had her own room, with beautiful outfits. Her room was a bit smaller then her friends’ but it was right next to hers.
But as she became Velandra’s friend, she also grew closer to Zan. It was clear that each day; he wanted to spend more and more time with her. Around her 11th birthday, he took her into the royal garden.

“Your highness, where are you talking me?” – she asked him with a smile on her face. She didn’t mind being alone with him. She didn’t’ worry that much about Khivar anymore either. Velandra could be shallow sometimes but she always seamed nice to her brother, who clearly adored the little blond princess.

“I wanted to see alone, Kivana Eli. I wanted you tell you. . . ” – the prince began talking. The little girl gazed into his eyes, looking for an answer, wanting to know what he wanted to talk to her about, alone, from other’s eyes. – “Tell me what, your highness?” – she wanted to make it easy for him.

“You shouldn’t need to call me that. We’ve been friends for a long time. You should Zan.” – he told her with a smile. But she could see from his face that that wasn’t what he wanted to tell her. As she nodded agreeing, he took her hand and kissed it. She blushed to it. – “What was that for, . . . Zan?”- she asked him, trying to adjust to the new name.

“Kivana Eli. . .” – he started again but he clearly couldn’t say. He was just so shy sometimes. Liz smiled watching them, it seamed so familiar. But before she knew it the boy leaned over and kissed her on the mouth. Liz’s eyes fell when she saw it. But she was more surprised by the little girl’s surprise. First, Kivana Eli moved back and slapped him. He stood there, confused, as he was sure of her feeling for him. But then she leaned forward to him and kissed him again. They seamed so cute together.

Time had rushed again; it was about her 18th birthday. Liz didn’t recognize the place at first. It was someone’s bedroom. As she watched closer, she noticed Zan in the bed, he reminded of Max and yet he didn’t really look like him. Then she heard the doors open and as she turned, she could see herself. But not even Kivana Eli looked like her. She was beautiful. She was tall, getting developed. Her long, brown, curled hair fell to shoulders and her browns were still as big. Liz could see a smile on her face as she saw Zan in bed.

She quietly walked to bed and kneeled on the floor in her silk nightgown. But as soon as she reached her hand to touch Zan’s naked bed, he turned around and caught her arm. Before she could scream, he covered her lips and then they both started laughing and she fell to the floor. Liz found it incredible how history repeated itself, how they were happy and in love even then. She watched them kiss for a bit, with his upper part, over her upper part, but he was still gentle. His hands never moved lower then her waist, he was perfect gentleman.

As he stopped kissing her, he looked at her, as she showed a wide smile. He moved a peace of hair from her face and he smiled to her. – “Did anyone ever tell you how beautiful you are?”- he asked her and she shook her head, but she was still smiling. – “Not since yesterday. Why? You think I’m not?” – then they just both laughed. It wasn’t that it was funny but it was all like some kind of romantic comedy, and only to them.

Time seamed to have rushed again and it was a pretty day, it was in a desert area of the planet. Liz was almost too sure of it not even existing on this planet. She saw herself walking through a marked path; she was a well grown woman, perhaps in her early 20ties, or even her mid-20ties. She carried a book with her and read it, every third second, she smiled. Liz couldn’t read the title of it since it was in Antarian writing. Suddenly, a man came behind her, it was Zan. He covered her eyes and then came before her. She rushed to his arms and he lifted her up.
After a long kiss, he put her down and the walked on, together, with their hands on their waists. -“Where have you been?”- she asked him with the same wide smile that Liz saw in an older memory. He whispered something into her ear and she giggled. Liz couldn’t hear them but she knew what he told her anyway. – “Setting up everything for tonight. I hope you do not dress complicated tonight.”- she could hear his words in her head. Liz suddenly realized that today was the anniversary of their first kiss together, it had been over 10 years since that day and Kivana Eli was ready to give herself to him tonight.

“Well, then, your highness, you should leave me to prepare!” – she told him with the same giggling smile she had since he whispered to her. He nodded and moved away from her. After a very deep bow, he ran further into the path and Kivana Eli took her book back to start reading again but she couldn’t. She heard someone behind her. As she turned, she saw her brother. He was here age, and with his build, he showed it but sadly his brain was, at least 7 or 8 years behind. She smiled as she saw him and he kissed her the check.

“What have you been up, Khivar?” – she asked her baby brother. He was always going to be her little baby brother, no matter what. It was the way she raised it, since it was her that raised him since they were children. – “I took princess Velandra for a walk, Ellie.”- he told her. He always called her like that because he remembered their father calling her like that. It was one of the rare things his small memory storaged from that time.

“Did you have fun?” – she asked him as the started walking next to each other. He nodded to his question. – “I gave her a rose.”- he told her. She sighed, she knew how much her brother loved her best friend since it was the way she felt for Zan but for a few months now, the king and queen have been discussing on marring the princess and they had made the choice of giving her hand to Ratos, her brother’s best friend. Kivana Eli felt sorry for her brother, knowing that their relationship would never really grow. She kissed his check and he looked at her with his childish look. – “What was that for?”- he asked her, confused.

“For being a child. For never growing up. That’s not as bed as one would think, dear brother. It’s sometimes nice to stay like that, to enjoy the world from a child’s eye.” – she comforted her brother.

All Liz could really think about how cute her brother was. She knew she shouldn’t he just was. But she didn’t have time to think about that. Suddenly, everything went black, she couldn’t see anything. She called out but she couldn’t even hear her own voice. She didn’t understand it. Suddenly, there was light again. She saw herself, sitting on the steppes and crying. She wore a beautiful purple dress, that was so long. She looked at her eyes and saw guilt and pain. As she saw what she was looking at, she realized that is was stone dedicated to her mother, something Zan did for her a few back, a dedication to her family and to her in a way.

Kivana Eli stared and sobbed, pretty loud. – “I’m sorry. How could I have been so stupid, mother? Why was I so stupid? Why did I do this? It’s my entire fault. I did this. I’m so sorry. I never met this happen. I loved him. All I wanted to teach a lesson. He didn’t need to die. ”- she cried out to her mother, almost drowning in all the tears on her face. – “How do I make it right? How do I save this world?”- she called out to her mother.

Her mother was dead but Ryctor’s beliefs involved spirits that are always with us, no matter where we are. She hopped she was not too damned from her own family that he mother would refuse to help. She leaned on her hands and looked down, when she heard a small voice whispering to her. – “Kivana Eli! Not all is lost. You did well, the lesson for the young king. But remember laws. The crimes of the fathers are not to be passed to the sons. The king is not to blamed for what did to us. To our world. Your brother must understand. He is now guilty one. The crimes of Zannder sr. have falled to him. Return him to the path, my child, or his will be pushed. Help the ones on earth, make your brother understand. Peace is all that matters. King Zan is now the king. ”- and then the voice disappeared. Kivana Eli called the voice back but she was gone. So much she had told her, she understood it. She knew what she had to do. Liz didn’t. She watched her get up and wiped her tears. She stood there for a bit longer, staring at the stone. – “Your will shall be done. Peace will be restored, mother.”- she said before walked out of the room. It was only then that Liz realized that it was some kind of a church.

She watched Kivana Eli leaved the room but she follow her. She stood there. It was all she had to know for now. She wanted more but it was all she could give herself that. She understood now that it was Kivana Eli going her and Val all this knowledge but she still had to understand why. She turned around once more when she realized that she was not alone.

“Isabel?” – she said to figure in one the chairs. But before she could say more, the blond woman disappeared and so did she.

[Dream end]

Liz woke up in her bed and quickly stood up. She was in trouble. Isabel was in her dream, and who know which others. She took a quick show and brushed her teeth before she put on her clothes. Simple jeans and white blouse. Combing her hair, she packed her books and she rushed downstairs into the dinner. She stopped in the middle of the stairs when she realized that it was Saturday, which ment, no school. She walked back up and returned her back pack to her room. She came back down and realized that the dinner didn’t even start working yet, it was too early.

Across down, Isabel woke from her dream urgently. Max, Michael and Tess were around her. She looked at them, before she remembered that they said to meet here early and that Isabel would have more information. She sat up in her bed and told her everything, well she told her almost everything by that time, all that took place in Liz’s dream, before the very end.

“So, what are you saying? Liz is from past life? She’s. . . what?” – Michael tried to understand it. He looked at Max who was quiet.

“There’s something else. Once this girl left the church, or what looked like it, Liz saw me.” – she told them. She was confused about it as they were, maybe even more. – “How?”- she heard them all say at the same time. She had no idea. –“So what do we do now?”- Max came in. But Tess went quiet as she tried to remember something.

“You said that she was your slave, right?” – Tess turned to Isabel who only nodded. – “And that she had her own room and fancy clothes.”- she asked again. Isabel nodded again. – “She said all that. Why, Tess?”- Max asked her. – “I think I knowwho she’s talking about. I think I know who Kivana Eli is.”- she told them. They were no even more confused.

Chapter 9

Val tried to take a more lying position but it was not easy. She was in the passenger seat next to the driver, and Zan was the driver now. Twenty minutes ago, she woke up from another dream about her world and she did Zan about it. It took her much less time to tell him about it. It was in the middle afternoon and they drove on roads and roads. She was never good at driving so she really didn’t pay much attention to where they were going. She trusted Zan to know the way to Roswell. From time to time, she would look at him and smiled but without much words.

Liz sat in the last private booth in Crashdown with Michael, showing him Physics. – “It’s useless, Liz. I don’t get it!”- he pushed the notebook away from him and said to her. – “Michael, look at it. It’s not. Just focus yourself on it. If you can copy someone’s finger print, you can try to remember this!”- she tried to explain but he got up and went to the bathroom. As she was alone, she took his notebook into her hand to try to see what he was writing but she never got that far. As soon as she touched it, she got hit by a vision.

[Liz’s vision]
Isabel, Michael, Max and Tess talking. She got a few words about her, and about her dreams. She heard only bits of the conversation.

Flash.

Tess looked at everyone in the room before she spoke and then she just said “I think I know who she’s talking about. I think I know who Kivana Eli is.”

[Vision End]

Michael was sitting next to her and looking at her weirdly. She looked at him back. – “Liz! Liz! Are you O.K.?”- she wondered how many times he called her names. She blinked once before she could say anything. – “Yea. I just got lost my thoughts. I’ll be alright. Let’s. . . get back to this.”- she said and looked at his notebook that she was still holding in her hands.

They tried to get into it for a few minutes but everything Liz said made no sense, not even to her. Then she heard a knock on the door. She looked at them at the same time as Michael did. It was Max, Isabel and Tess. – “Read it over, Michael.”- she told him and got up. She walked to the doors and unlocked them. She then pulled it forward and looked at Max who was the closest.

“We need to talk to Michael, Liz. ” – she heard him say. She shook her head once. – “Look, Max, I’m sorry but Michael and I are studying now!”- she tried to explain but Isabel pushed the doors forward and walked to Michael. Tess followed her. Max stood there for a bit, looking at Liz, with the same guilt face from a few days back. And then he walked over to Isabel, Tess and Michael.

Michael looked up and they started whispering. Liz looked at them at the door but she couldn’t make out any words. She felt ridiculous. In fact, she said it. – “This is ridiculous! If you have something to say me, say it! I’m sick and tired of all the looks and all. And it’s even because Kyle anymore.” – she said and walked over to them. She looked at Isabel first. – “How dare you dream walk me, Isabel? Don’t you anything about privacy? Apparently you don’t. If I catch you again in my sleep, I doubt you’ll be waking up.”- she didn’t know why she said any of it. But it felt good to lay out all of it. They knew what she had been dreaming and now she knew that they knew. There was no need for lieing or anything like it. – “Now, get out of here. When you realize who’s your friend and has been through all this time, come back. All four of you. ”- she said and pointed to the door.

Michael took his stuff and walked out first. In the middle of the way, he looked at Liz. – “Sorry.”- he just said. Isabel followed smirking at her. Tess afterwards, she didn’t want to get involved now. Max stayed there last. – “You too, Max.”- she kept a sharp face but she wanted to fall into his arms.

When they all left, she locked the doors behind them and walked in the back area, closing the lights in the place. After that she walked upstairs to her room, and out to the balcony. She crossed her hands; it was becoming a bit cold. She looked at the stars, at what she always believed to be Max’s home. Sighing, she sat on the edge of the balcony and continued to look up.

Suddenly, Max walks up the stairs. She wanted to brush him off before he said anything but one look in his eyes was enough to know that it wasn’t Max. She felt to the side, on the floor of the balcony. It was Zan. He got up and reached his hand for her to take it. She didn’t trust him all that much, specially after what happened to Rath and Lonnie. She got up herself. After him, Val came up. Liz’s eyes fell.

“You! What are you doing here?” – was the first thing that came out of Liz’s mouth. – “Look, chill. Everything is messed up right now, Liz. I didn’t know who else to come to. Please.”- was Val’s response. Then they kept looking at each other for a minute or two, not being able to truly accept that the other really existed. But Liz could understand her. She knew that she would probably do the same time if she was in that kind of trouble.

They hugged. It was strange how good it felt to have her next to her. They had never met in this life but in another, they were one. Together, they made the perfect Kivana Eli. And hugging reminded that. Together they were much stronger.

Chapter 10

After a long hug, Val explained to Liz what happened to John. She was surprised to learn that Liz already knew about it. Then they called about their dreams and what it was telling them. They were both surprised that they had the same dream. Then Liz mentioned how the four know, how Isabel had been dreaming walking them all this time.

Once the finished all the clear things, Val went silent. She didn’t know how to say what she needed to tell her. Liz was not like her. She was saint to her. She didn’t know tell her because as much as this wad going in her, Liz had the same right on it.

“Liz, there’s something I need to tell you.” – Val started. They were sitting on the bed, she and Liz. Zan sat behind her when she started, knowing what this was about and took her hand. Liz found herself being jealous on them and what they have. Something Max and she lost when she changed their future. She stayed silenced and waited for Val to talk.

“After I killed John, I threw up a lot. I didn’t take any notice in it but Zan did. So on our trip, I bought a pregnancy test. . . ” – she started talking. The story was getting clear. – “What?!”- was all Liz could say at that point. – “Liz, please, let her finish.”- Zan had to come into the conversation. He knew how hard this was on Val. He remembered how she reacted when she found out.

“And it turned out positive. Liz, I’m pregnant. And I’ve been pregnant for about a week now.” – she told her. Liz got confused. It there was something she knew, it were the natural sciences. – “Hold on, you’re pregnant for only a week and you’re already throwing up. You get morning sickness after the first or second month. Wait, is like a alien pregnancy?”- she started to question. Zan cut it. – “Liz, the earth moves a lot faster then our world. What is a million is only about 50 years to us. Because of the speed, what should be a month is a week.”- he explained to her.

“So what are you saying, she’s going to give birth in 8 weeks?” – Zan and Val nodded to her question. – “We’re going to be a mom?”- Val nodded with a smile as Liz hugged her. It was strange how easy she accepted it. But it felt like she was pregnant. Zan was Max in a way. And Val and she were one, so it was kind of her kid.

After that, Val had to throw up twice and then they went to sleep. Val and Liz took the bed while Zan sleep on the floor, on Val’s side, which was next to the bathroom.

The next day, Val woke up earlier. She didn’t won’t to wake up neither of them as they seamed to peaceful, even Zan on the floor. She looked around the room. She saw a photo of Liz and Max. She took it with a smile. She didn’t really have any photo a Zan, just an image in her head that she kept when ever they were together. As she put that one down, she found another, it seamed newer. As soon as she took it, she had a vision.

[Val’s vision]

Max got up the stairs and walked through the balcony, only to see Val and Zan kissing. She could feel his feeling of going insane.

[End Vision]

Val quickly dropped the image and rushed to wake up Zan. After him Liz. – “Max is coming!”- she told her and took Zan into the bathroom. She made sure nothing of his clothes was left out or Max might think something else to it. Liz thought how smart she is in this kind of things. She started fixing her bed, still in her nightgown. It was simple, with only holders on a dress, to her knees. One moment, she stopped working on the bed, as she saw her reflection on the mirror.

She left the bed as she found it and looked at herself in the mirror. The outfit matched her dream but she was Kivana Eli. She combed her hair perfectly and looked again, she was till not her. She thought to herself that maybe she’d need to grow up a bit and smiled. She was in love that kind of beauty, which was silly to her since she knew, it was her, really. She was in love with herself in a way. She laughed to that.

“Liz?” – she heard a voice and turned, it Max, kneeling to get into the room. She smiled as she saw him come in and then she looked around to room to find something wear. – “Could you turn around?”- he nodded a bit nervous. She took of her nightgown, she had nothing on. She quickly put on some underwear but she couldn’t find anything to dress, it was all by Max; then she noticed Val’s bag. It was next to her foot.

She opened it and started looking around. She found weird clothing. Not her taste but she really didn’t have anything right now. She grabbed a skirt and a short blouse. Once she put it on, she realized what she was wearing. It was a skirt like part of a school uniform, very short, and the blouse showed her belly. She looked at the mirror. – “Who would wear this?”- she asked herself out load. – “What?”- Max said as he turned around.

Liz could see his jaw drop. She put her hands on her hips. – “Remember it since it’s the first AND LAST time I wear this!”- she pointed out. She walked over to him, his eyes on her. As she came close to him, he had his eyes like he was going to kiss her put she put her hand under his chin and gently pushed it up. –“Liz. . . what’s going on?”- he asks her. She moves away and sits on her bed. He sits next to her.

“Max, remember how I told you that you need trust me?” – he nodded to her question but he wanted to say something. She put her finger over his lips. – “No, I need you trust me. I will tell you, this afternoon. Get everyone and meet in the desert.”- he formed a questioned face. – “Please, Max. I’ll tell you everything and answer any question you have. Please? ”- she had a begging face. He took her hand and nodded and just left. As soon as he was down the stairs she sighed and lay on the bed. – “That was so close. He’s gone!!”- she shouted.

What she didn’t count on was Max’s good hearing. He heard what she said and he looked back up. Val and Zan go out of the bathroom. He couldn’t see their faces. As Liz moved from the sight, Val sat on the bed and Zan kissed her neck. He thought it was Liz. He couldn’t see anymore and he went down.

When Liz came back to the room, she saw what they were doing and she crossed her hands. Zan saw her and she backed away from Val. – “Sorry.”- he told her. Both looked at Liz, while Liz looked at Zan. – “How did you turn out so nice while your sister and Rath are monsters?”- he got confused with her question. – “You know, when they thought you were dead, they came here and got Max to instead of you. Told him how you wanted to go. When he rushed to make a deal with Nicholas, they tried to kill him. ”- Zan’s eyes expanded. He knew something was wrong he didn’t know they would go that far.

“I’m sorry. I’m glad that he’s O.K.” – he told her. – “Yes, he is. Ava told me how save him. She really did love you, you know. ”- she told them. –“He told me that I was different, changed because healed me.” –

“You weren’t different because he saved you. You were changed, you were held from your powers because interfered. If he let you deal with the shot your own, you could have healed, Liz.” – Zan looked at her surprised. – “Really?”- Val nodded. She knew so much.

“So are you really going to meet them?” – she asked Liz. Liz shook her head. –“No, we are. It’ll be hard for them understand at first but they already so much. They should know you’re alive. You’re all stronger together.” – she said to Zan. – “We all are.”- she said and looked at Val who reached her hand to her.

“You know, Liz, you look hot!” – Liz blushed. – “I’m not used to not this.”- and Val got hit with an idea. – “No, keep it. I’ll dress as you. We’ll see how much they know you, girl.”-
