"So I guess we're having our coffee date a little earlier than expected."

I was about to take a sip when isabel says that and pause, pretending to think about her words. "Hm, I figured I could pay for the coffee on our date, so this either means it will be cheaper than I thought or that I'd have to pay you, which would mean I'd have to actually pay you for the date which in fact does sound a bit ... unusual."

I grin at Isabel, lifting my cup slightly before taking my sip. "Hmm, this is good - you either have a great coffee machine or have even more hidden talents than I thought."

"We could also say this is a test run for our coffee date - if this," I motion around us a bit, "turns out fine, we'll have our date in the afternoon and if not ..." I give a big sigh, "... we just forget it."

I cant help but lightly run my hand through her hair and down her spine. She looks so...angelic lying on me...her head on my chest. So peaceful...so perfect...

I kinda feel... nice. This is...cute.

What? No...I'm meant to be having 'the sex' right now! Where is 'the sex?'?! I want 'the sex' damnit!

Alex left after we finished our coffee and I went straight back to bed for the next five hours,feeling tired all of a sudden and barely able to keep my eyes open.

The rest of the day I spent lazing around the apartment,watching tv,checking e-mail and reading and also sleeping again for a while.My cat meowed loudly in protest sometime around lunchtime and I jumped off the sofa apologising to her profusely and fed her immediately.

Keeping an eye on the time I got ready,deciding to wear a pair of jeans and a simple white sleeveless peasant blouse,strappy white sandals and a touch of make-up to complete the look.

Bending down to pet Misty I coo at her,"I'm sorry sweetie,I've got to go out for a while but I promise I won't be so long tonight." Giving her a kiss on her head I leave and head for Alex's.

I sigh at my reflection in the mirror and frown. I still don't understand what happened this morning. One minute, Tess and I are eating and talking and having a great time at IHOP. The next minute, she's all frigid and closed off and won't even let me kiss her goodnight. I don't know what happened between those two minutes.

Nodding at my choice for the carnival, some faded blue jeans and a brown flannel shirt, I run a comb through my hair and think about tonight. I've gotta ask Tess what happened. Did I say something wrong? Was she appalled at the amount of food I put away? What?

Damn damn damn damn damn! Damn! Traffic was worse than I thought when I went grocery shopping so now, I'm late and Isabel will be here soon and I'm nowhere near finished. Damn!

Wrapping a towel around my waist, I get out of the shower, almost slipping. Okay, I still need to shave, brush my teeth and anything else? Oh yes, getting dressed!

I put my glasses on my face and head out of the bathroom, my jaw almost hitting the floor when I see who is sitting on my bed.

"Leanna?" I ask confused. What the hell?

"Hey baby, missed me?" She asks cheekily, looking way too comfortable on my bed if you ask me.

"What ... what the hell do you want?"

"You. I realized that I can't live without you and we should give it another try." She tells me with a smirk, sitting up and leaning closer to me. "We could continue where we left off."

Oh god, please tell me that I did indeed slip in the bathroom and am now in a coma!

Pulling up outside Alex's house I notice a black mustang parked in his drive way.I wonder whose visiting him.Briskly walking up the path I am about to knock when out of impulse I try the door and the knob turns easily.Surprised...I didn't actually think it would work...but it always seems to in movies...I enter and walk towards the bedroom when I hear voices,one definitely being female.

"You. I realized that I can't live without you and we should give it another try." What the hell?! Who is that in his bedroom? Taking a deep breath I tip toe down the corridor "We could continue where we left off." says the woman in a seductive drawl and I look through the gap between the door and wall and see a woman in very skimpy clothes I might add,her hands very close to the knot in Alex's towel and he's just standing there.

Okay this is too much,"What is going on here?" I ask glaring from him to her "What does it look like?" she asks me sarcastically "I was just about to pleasure my boyfriend before you barged in here. BITCH!
Ignoring her I look at Alex,"Don't ever come near me again." With that I run out of his house,tears beginning to sting my eyes.
