Chapter 43

"May I present to you for the first time the Graduating summer school class of 2002 from West Roswell High" The principle announced as a sea of red caps with gold tassels filled the air as the graduate basked in their joyous accomplishment.

"Oh my god Michael, Tess, and Alex I am so proud of you." Amy Deluca cried as she hugged them. "Alex you never cease to amaze me. I never thought you would graduate being you were in Sweden but you proved everyone wrong." Isabel said as she kissed him.

"Thanks hey guys grad party back at my house" Alex yelled as he took Isabel’s hand and ran out side.

The party at the Whitman’s was in full blast as music blazed in the hot august night as the splashing of water could be heard from the pool in Alex's back yard.

"Wow great party Alex!" Kyle yelled as he jumped off the diving board in a huge cannon ball causing everyone to get soaked. "Kyle you are so dead!" Maria yelled as ran and dunked him.

"Dinner is served" Gloria Whitman yelled as the dripping wet teens made their way into the house. The dinner was very pleasant on. It was a BBQ full of everything from hamburgers to chicken to ribs.

"Wow Mrs. Whitman this is great you really shouldn't have." Liz said as she took her plate of food and joined the others in the living room as they watched the baseball game.

"So Alex is your band playing tonight?" Max asked his joyous friend. "Yes we are playing. After dinner Chris and I are setting everything up in my garage,” he said as he ate his food.

"Yeah they have been practicing all day." Isabel said smiling. "Oh it sounds great. I can't wait." Tess smiled happily.

The evening wore on long into the night as the group danced and sang as Alex and the Whits played. "Ok guys last song but I need a volunteer?" Maria yelled as she looked into the crowd. "Max will do it!" Kyle yelled as he hit Max on the back.

Max could feel his cheeks turn red from embarrassment as he reliantly walked on stage. "Ok Max I need you to sing a song with me." Maria said smiling. "What! Maria you know I can't sing!" Max cried hoping that this touchier would be over with soon.

" Come on Max don't give me that. I mean after all you did come to Liz's balcony in the middle of the night during our junior year and sang to her. At least that's what she told me." Maria said eyeing her best friend.

Liz looked at Maria and then at Max giving him an "I'm sorry" look as she shrugged her shoulders.

Max sighed knowing he wasn't going to win this battle and then looked at Maria. "Ok, Ok, what song are we singing?" He said looking at Maria as she handed him a mike.

"Come on Max you remember this one we sang it all the time during the summer of 2000 remember." Maria said as she turned to Alex who started playing.

"Oh come on Max you remember. They say we're young and we don't know we won't find out until we grow." Maria said as she started to sing the song "I got you babe".

"Maria you are so dead. Well I don't know if all that's true
'Cause you got me, and baby I got you Babe."Max sang as he laughed at her.

"I got you babe I got you babe" they both sang.

"They say our love won't pay the rent Before it's earned, our money's all been spent"Maria smiled as she sang.

"I guess that's so, we don't have a pot But at least I'm sure of all the things we got Babe." Max sang as he smiled at Maria.

"I got you babe I got you babe" they both sang as they bruised out in laughter as they turned and faced each other.

"I got flowers in the spring I got you to wear my ring" max sang "And

when I'm sad, you're a clown" Maria sang laughing.

"And if I get scared, you're always around" max said smiling

"So let them say your hair's too long" Maria said as she flipped her hair.

"'Cause I don't care, with you I can't go wrong" She said pointing to him

"Then put your little hand in mine" Max said taking Maria's hand

"There ain't no hill or mountain we can't climb babe" Max sang as he and Maria stared at each other.

"I got you babe I got you babe” They sang as they faced the crowd hand in hand.

"I got you to hold my hand." Max said holding Maria’s hand.

"I got you to understand" Maria said smiling

"I got you to walk with me” ax said as he lead her down stage

"I got you to talk with me" Maria’s sang as they walked back

"I got you to kiss goodnight" Max let go of Maria's hand and blew her a kiss

"I got you to hold me tight" Maria said walking closer to him.

"I got you, I won't let go" Max said as he held out his hand

"I got you to love me so" Maria said taking his hand.

"I got you babe" they both sang together as they let go and walked to opposite ends of the stage

"I got you babe" They both sang and looked at each other and laughed as they both took a bow as Alex and everyone clapped and laughed at the display they just saw.

"Thank you and good night" Maria cried as the Whits played the last cord.

"Oh my god that was priceless" Isabel said laughing as she smiled at her bother. "Who would of thought that Maxwell could sing" Michael laughed as he patted him on the back.

"Wow I mean I know you and Maria bonded the summer I was in Florida but I had no idea. You did an excellent job! I am impressed!" Liz said laughing as she draped her arm around Max."Thanks I try." Max said shyly as he smiled and kissed her.

"Hey Evans can I have your autograph." Kyle smirked.

"Shut up Kyle." Max said laughing as Kyle chuckled.

"Ok guys Dessert is served." Alex yelled as the group ran inside to see what was in store. There was a huge white frosting cake with a yellow and blue boarder and in red letters it said Congratulations to Tess, Michael, Alex and the Class of 2002.

"Wow this is great! Thanks Alex you really know how to throw a party." Tess beamed as the flashes of camera were seen as the group posed for pictures.

The night was winding down as the gusts were leaving as the group said their goodbyes to each other. "Thanks again for a great time Alex." max said as he hugged him good-bye. "Oh it was nothing." Alex said as he hugged Liz.

"You were great tonight Alex.” Maria said hugging him. "You were too. Have a great night." Alex said to her. "Bye Alex it was a great party congrats. Kyle, Tess and Michael said as they hugged him. "Get home safe."

"Max I am going to stay and help Alex clean up." Isabel said as she hugged her brother. "OK Try not to get home to late you know how mom and dad are." Max said. "Don't worry I will get home at a decent hour." Isabel said smiling as her and Alex waved the group good night and went into the house.

Hi Everyone things have been crazy here between the Holidays and my trip to Vegas I am finally gettign a chance to write my new part!!

My trip to Vegas it was amazing here is a recap of it.

Saturday Jan 3rd:
we left NY around 9 and arrived at Vegas about 12 their time. While on the plane we flew over New Mexico and my friend Elaine was like look Erin it says Roswell on the map lol it was funny. Anyway we got to Vegas and we all stayed at the Carrriage House which is right down the street from where the Aladden Hotel is. After we checked inot our room we headed down the strip a little bit and checked out the Aladden and Paris after that we went to dinner at the Flamingo it was amazing it was awesome to finally see it and have dinner there no less!!!! You all would of loved it!!!

After that we went back to the Hotel and took it easy for the rest of the night to get over the jet lag. We drank some wine and played some card games then all went to bed by 9:30 to be rest up for the next day.

Sunday:
we got up and went to the M&M World and Coca Cola store it was really cool inside they have a soda shop and you can get dollar cokes in glass bottles. Then after that we checked out Mandalian Bay and New York New York and then went back got dressed and went to Mandalian Bay for dinner and went to the House Of Blues it was great My friend Elaine was able to get us into the VIP room after we meet up with this guy in the casino. The House Of Blue's was awesome and the dance club was so much fun me and my friends Christine and Katie danced up on stage at the club it was great.

Monday:
We toured Ceasers Palace and went to Teasure Island and Harrords. It was amazing Ceasers Palace was incredible that night we all eat at an italian resturant there by one of the indoor fountains they have it was great. After that we just walked around the strip at night. Vegas at night is incredible it was amazing to see all of the lights. We then went to the Aladden and I won 20 dollars at black jack.

Tuesday:
We went to the Belligio the hotel with the huge founatin. It the one they rob in the movie Oceans 11. It was gorgeious!!! I love it out of all the hotels!! It was great!!
We went to the MGM, Excalaber Midevil times hotel the Luxor the Egyption Hotel and New York New York. It was dress up night because we went and saw the "V" Vegas Variaty Show at the Venation. It was great they has magicians and comedians and dancers. After that we went to the Mariage to check out the Volcanio that goes off every half and hour. It was great to see and went to dinner at Teasure Island and then we went ot Studio 54 at the MGM it was great the club they had dancers on stage as well as people haning frorm the ceiling. It was great.

Wednesday:
We all got up early and went on a 6 hour bus tour of Red Rock cannion out in the dessert. It was amazing to see the mountains and dessert life. We went to the top of mount Charlestion for lunch we were so high up that there was snow becasuse it was cold up there. It was great my friends and I had a snow ball fight.

After that we went back to the hotel and Elaine,Frank, Katie, and Mike had couples night while me Christine, Matt, and Scott had singles night. So we went to the Palms for dinner and then went ot the Ghost Bar. The Ghost Bar was amazing out ide you could see the whole Vegas Sky line light up at night!! It was great I am glad I finally got to go there I heard so much about it after seeing the MTV Real World and of couse after the whole Britney Spears thing which happened there Saturday night the day we arrived in Vegas but we didn't see her while we were there but we think we saw AJ from the Backstreet Boys while we were at Ceasers Palace. After that we went to the hard Rock Hotel and went to the club there and I won 15 dollars in Rolutte.

Thruday night we went to Freemont street and saw the old strip of vegas and saw the light show. It was great we went to the stratifer and went to the top to see Vegas light up at night. After that we went to teasure Island for dinner and went to a awesome Karokee/Dance club bar called Kahunaville it was great we sang and danced and at one point we got the whole bar to do the song come and ride the train and we all danced along the bar in one big line lol Talk about a Roswell moment it was awesome lol .

Friday:
we got up and went to any hotel we missed I won 30 dollars on a dollar slot machine in Paris and then at night we went to harrods out door Bar for drinks and dancing to the live band. It was great!!

Saturday jan 10th we packed and got our 3:00 flight home to NY we arrived in NY around 11.

I had a wonderful week the weather was so nice and sunny it was great!!!! I had so much fun hanging out with my best friends.

Chapter 44

Isabel and Alex placed the last plate into the cupboard as Mrs. Whitman sat at the kitchen table. "Isabel thanks you for all of your help. I really appreciate it." She said smiling. "Oh thank you for throwing such a great party. It was wonderful." Isabel beamed.

"Well kids I am going to bed. Good night." Mrs. Whitman said as she kissed Alex and Isabel goodnight. "Good night mom." Alex said shyly as he watched her leave.

"How about going for a drive." Alex said smiling. "What?" Isabel said looking up into his eyes. "Come on let go for a drive." Alex said taking her hand. "OK that sounds nice." Isabel said taking his hand as Alex grabbed his keys and closed the door.

The drive was long and Isabel was getting nervous with excitement as they made a right turn down the dark street. 'Alex where are we going?' She said looking confused. "You will see." Alex said laughing as the car picked up pace.

They suddenly stopped as the two made there way out of the car. "Now close your eyes." Alex said as Isabel closed her eyes trying not to laugh with excitement as she held his hand.

All Isabel could see was black, as she held on tight to Alex. At one point she knew she was heading up stairs but stairs to where she had no idea until the endless climb stopped and she head Alex's voice whisper into her ear. "Open your eyes."

She blinked them open and was shocked by the sight she saw. "Alex wow this is amazing!" She said as she looked around the observatory. "I thought you would like it." Alex said as he placed a blanket down on the floor.

He smiled up at her and then took her hand. "Come here you have to see this sight." He said as they walked over to the telescope. Isabel peered though the lens and was over taking by the sight of diamonds in front of her as the world of the galaxy lay in front of her.

She gasped. "Alex it's so beautiful!" She sighed as she squeezed his hand. "Look I think I can see Antar see." She said moving over so Alex could have a look. "It's the star to the left." She said as Alex beamed with delight. "Wow that’s amazing!" He said smiling at her.

They then walked over to the blanket and sat down. "It's so weird to be here." Isabel said. "Why?" Alex asked confused. "This is where it all happened between Max and Tess." "Oh" Alex said blushing. "That’s right sorry if I had known then..." "Oh it wasn't your fault Alex I am glad you brought me here." Isabel said smiling.

"I feel so bad for Liz that must of been horrible." Alex said as he pulled Isabel close. "Yes it was, god what that girl has gone through for the sake of us. It's amazing she is not dead or crazy because of it.” Isabel said looking into Alex's eyes.

"I know Liz is a strong person but sometimes I think she holds to much of the emotions she is going through inside and doesn’t let others see." Alex said as he rubbed Isabel’s golden hair.

"Yes I know what you mean. But some how I think Max knows. Those two have a connection that is unbelievable and so rare to find." Isabel said sighing.

"Kind of like us." Alex said as he leaned down and kissed her. "Yes in a way but ours is very different." She said smiling as she kissed him.

"So Alex how are you?" Isabel said softly. "Me I couldn't be better. It's funny how life works out and that I am so lucky to be here with you again. Isabel you are what kept me going!" Alex said as he smiled at her.

"I love you." She said as she kissed him. "Oh wait I also have another surprise for you." Alex said as he pulled out his guitar. "This is a song I wrote for you." He said strumming the cords and began to play and sing in a soft voice.

"I meet you that day back in 3rd grade you were joyful
and heaven was in your smile. I saw you and was blown away
I never knew an angel could be so beautiful.

So I went home and I wish on a star that you would be mine.
It was only a matter of time for the stars to listen and make their fate
but I feared it was too late as I looked on all these years at you
wondering if you loved me too.

But through the years I have looked up at the stars and I have gazed
and when I did it all made sense that this princess was made for me
while other boys called her Ice because they who used her as she
paid the price.

But to me you are beautiful and shinned like the stars.
You were the one to make me smile though we never spoke
I knew that you were broken and just like me you gazed
at the stars to heal these scars.

Now time has past and you are all grown and your light shinned on
inside my heart though I never knew how to talk to you or where to start
but still I prayed that you would be mine my heart burned like a falling star the day I dreamed and told you that you were safe and you smiled and kissed me and I know my place that you loved me till the end.

And to me you are beautiful and shin like the stars
You were the one to make me smile and now that we
have finally spoke my heat is alive and together we healed our scars
and just like me you and I gazed up at the stars
and for the first time I saw them shinning with love."

The last cords rang in the circle room as Isabel felt the tears fall down her cheeks. Alex looked up at her and smiled shyly as his cheeks turned red. "I love you,” he whispered as he pulled her close. "I love you" Isabel whispered as the two of them pulled each other in and gave each other a passionate kiss.

Chapter 45

The night felt magical as the group made there way home. The summer was coming to an end and everyone could feel the crisp autumn wind in the air.

"Hey Evan's I'll race you home!" Kyle yelled. "Your on" Max said as he bolted to catch up to him. "Men" Maria said rolling her eyes as her and Liz laughed seeing the two of them changing down the dark street.

"Yeah Alex is so lucky he is not here for this. He is probably all over Isabel by now" Maria said shaking her head. "Maria! It's Alex we are talking about here. But then again I wouldn't be surprised." Liz said smiling at her friend as they both laughed.

"I win! Even when I am sober I can still beat you!" Max said laughing as Kyle gained to catch is breath. "OK OK but I swear one day I will be you Evans!" Kyle said breathlessly as the two laughed.

"You know I think after that impressive victory I think it calls for a celebration." Liz said smiling. "Oh really!" Max said raising an eyebrow giving Liz one of his drop dead gorgeous sexy smiles.

"No not that kind of celebration I was talking more like coming back to the Cashdown for some Astor pie." She said punching him on the shoulder.

"Sounds good to me I am starving." Michael said as he and Maria hurried to join the others in the light cafe.

Max held the door open for Liz and then whispered into her ear. "I can't wait to get you alone tonight." He said as Liz smiled up at him. "Oh really well we shall see." Liz said giving him a coaxing look before she hurried to join Maria sitting at a booth as Max let out a sigh as he closed the dark wooden glass door behind him.

The group was in their glory talking about the good old days about their high school years. "Do you remember Prom? Wow how messed up was that night I think the only people who had a memorable evening were me, Michael, Isabel, and Alex." Maria said and then grew quite.

"Sorry" She said remembering the pain that Kyle, Tess, Liz, and Max went through that night. "Maria it's ok besides we are all here together again and have healed old wounds. Kyle said smiling at the group. "He's right I mean it's amazing we are still alive." Michael said as he kissed Maria.

"Ok enough with the melodrama lets talk about happier things." Liz said as she squeezed Max's hand.

"Tess and I slept together." "What!" the whole group yelled at Kyle as Tess turned bright red.

"You joking right?' Liz said with her jaw open in shock.

"No it happened a few days ago." Tess said all embarrassed. "Wow um I don't know what you say." Max said in shock "How did it happen! You know what spar me of the details." Maria said waving her hands in front of her face. "Just be careful. Ok." Liz said still in shock.

"Trust me we will." Kyle and Tess said together as the group laughed.
"Well I think we all have had enough excitement for one night. See you later Maxwell. Good night Liz.' Michael said as he gave them a hug.

"Good night everyone. Safe trip home." Liz waved the group goodbye. She watched them drive away into the night until she was scooped up from the ground and flooded with kisses. "Max" Liz said breathlessly as he carried her upstairs to her room.

"Yes" he said as he laid her down onto the bed. " We can't do this." Liz said in between kisses. "We can't" Max said looking into her eyes. "Look I am sorry but I really need sleep and I haven't had a good night sleep in a long time. I promise though that I will make it up to you." Liz said as she kissed him again.

"Liz are you ok?" Max said with concern. "Yes Max I'm fine, I'm fine really." She said nodding her head. "I am just tired that’s all." Liz said as she made a trail of kisses down his neck. "OK." He said sighing as he kissed her forehead.

They then quickly changed and got into bed as Max held Liz close. "Good night Liz." Max whispered as Liz fell into a deep sleep.

In a cafe down the street Jim and Amy were paying the check for their meal. "Thank you Jim for a wonderful night." Amy said as they walked out onto the street.

"Anytime. You know I have been meaning to tell you that I know for a while we went our separate ways. I mean you were out of town a lot and I dated younger people. I am so grateful to be with you again when I am with you everything feels right." Jim said smiling.

"I feel the same way." Amy said as she held Jims hand. "The truth is Amy I miss you." "I miss you" Amy said smiling. "And I don't want to miss you anymore I want to spend everyday with you. Jim said as they stopped by a park bench.

Since the day I meet you at the Indian landmark I was captivated by you and now that you are back here in my life I don’t want to you go away. I want to be with you forever. What I am trying to say is Amy Deluca will you marry me?" Jim said as he got on his hands and knees and pulled out a diamond ring.

"Oh my god! Get up please you are causing a scene." She said, as she became all flustered and started fanning herself.

"Of course I will marry you!! Now get up before I change my mind." She said smiling as Jim laughed and placed the ring on her finger. They pulled each other into a great big hug and kiss one another as their joyous laughter filled the night air.

Chapter 45 Continued

The truth was Liz wasn't fine. For weeks the sadness was bottling up inside her. Confusion filled her mind as she tried to figure out the answers to questions she had heard ever since she found out about her destiny.

The one thing that rang in her mind over and over again was what Ava a duplicate of the royal four who resembled Tess had said the night Liz had saved Max in the City from being killed during her junior year.

Ava was a sweet person who comforted Liz while Max and Tess were at the summit. Over the summer the group has stayed with her for a few days over the summer while they were running from the FBI until they could find shelter.

However Liz never knew what Ava meant that fateful night in the Crashdown when she uttered the words "Max brought you back from the dead. You've been changed."

Liz was in shock when she told her and could fathom the fact "What do you mean by changed?" she said trying to make sense of it all.

Ava just looked at her with kind eyes and said, "Look, there ain't enough time to explain. You just gotta trust me here. If Max brought you back, then...you're different now." It was after that that Liz connected with Max and saved his life.

"I have to leave,” she whispered to herself as she looked at Max sleeping. "No you can't Liz. This is crazy you start school in less then a week." She thought trying to convince herself out of it.

"No" she said softy as she shook her head as tears fell down her cheeks. I have to do this. Not for Isabel, Michael, Tess, or even Max but for myself. She whispered softy as she looked at Max and then her mission was clear.

She quickly got up and dressed and threw some cloths into a bag. Next she sat down at her desk and got a piece of paper and pencil and started writing.

Liz placed the pen down on the paper and wiped her eyes. She then went over and kissed Max on the lips. "Sweet Dreams" she whispered. "Liz" Max murmured in his sleep. She smiled as tears filled her eyes. "I will always be with you." She whispered softy into his ear.

She then picked up her bag and walked over to the window looking at the room and the man she loved one last time before she made her way into the night.

She ran until she reached the chamber and went into the pod chamber. She went over to the green oval shaped pod where her husband was born and touched it as she took a deep breath. Just them the room was filled with white light and in a few seconds she was gone.

Max awoke and reached over to where Liz was but she wasn't there. "Liz" he whispered in the dark room. He then got up and looked at the clock on Liz's desk. 2:00 it read. Max then looked down and saw a small piece of paper folded with his name Max written across in black ink.

He knew it was Liz's handwriting so he walked outside onto the balcony and sat down outside her window as a soft tune of the song "Galapogos by Smashing Pumpkins filled the air from the radio on the balcony.

Max then opened the letter and started to read

Dear Max,
By the time you get this letter I will be far away
traveling back to Antar.

Just as you searched for years to find out about your
past. It is now my time to find out the truth.
Please understand. Tell my mom and Dad I love them.
Give my love to Maria, Alex, Isabel, Micheal, Tess, and Kyle.

Tears filled Max's eyes as he read.

I sit here writing this letter watching you sleeping in the dark
there is a small smile across your face. It is that smile that I will
imprint on my heart and take with me on my journey. I love you.
I love you so much that is why I must do this. I will love you till
the end of time. Believe in me as I believe in you.

I am forever yours,
Liz

A flood of tears came rushing down Max cheeks as he sobbed softy in the twilight.

"Carve out your heart for keeps in an old oak tree
and hold me for goodbyes-and-whispered lullabyes
and tell me I am still
the man I’m supposed to be

I won't deny the pain
I won't deny the change
and should I fall from grace here with you
will you leave me too?

He then folder the letter and wiped the tears from his eyes she was gone and there wasn't anything he could do about it, for how long she would be gone for he didn't know all he did know was that he would always love her.

"Too late to turn to turn back now, I'm running out of sound
and I am changing, changing
and if we died right now, this fool you love somehow
is here with you

I won't deny the pain
I won't deny the change
and should I fall from grace here with you
would you leave me too?"

Max then looked up at the stars. He could see Venus shinning in the distance brightly as a shooting star shot past it lighting up the night sky.

Chapter 46

The group had left the Crashdown but decided that the night wasn't just over quite yet so they all headed over to Maria's house to hang out with her cousin Sean.

"Kyle stop encouraging him!" Maria yelled as Sean and Kyle exchanged war stories of the antics they used to play on people. "You should have seen his face.

Max was ready to kill Isabel when she glued his feet to the floor it was hysterical!" Kyle said laughing. "Oh what was that for" Kyle winced in pain as Maria punched him. "OK enough" She threatened.

"Maria come on after all you better watch it I have stories about the stuff I used to do to you." Sean said laughing. "You wouldn’t dare" Maria said as she glared him down with her death threat eyes.

"Hi everyone we are home" Amy beamed with delight as her and Jim walked inside. "Oh thank god,” Sean said laughing as Maria ran to her mother. "Hi mom your home" She said shocked.

"Well your mother decided to come home early she has some news for you and Kyle" Jim said smiling.

"Jim and I are getting married" Amy said grinning from ear to ear.

"WHAT!" Kyle and Maria yelled as their jaws dropped and looked at each other.

"Wow congrats Aunt Amy that’s great news." Sean said hugging his aunt and Jim.

" Congrats wait that means you and Kyle are going to be step brother and sister" Tess beamed with delight.

"OH MY GOD" Kyle and Maria said at once in shock.

" All I have to say is Good luck,” Michael said laughing as he patted Kyle on the shoulder, as he stood there dumbfounded looking at Maria.

"Well aren't you going to say anything?" Jim asked as he looked at the shocked teens.

"Wow Dad congrats I don’t know what to say." Kyle said as she hugged Jim and Amy.

"Wow this is great! So when is the wedding?" Maria said as her eyes lit up.

"In December" Amy said as she gave her daughter a hug.

"Wow a sister I never thought I would ever have one. I am glad it's you Maria." Kyle said as he gave her a hug. "Same here." She said giving him a hug.

"I think this calls for a celebration." Sean said as he popped open a bottle of Champaign and poured a glass for everyone as they all chatted over the joyous news.

"Lets get married tonight!" Alex cried as he kissed Isabel passionately. "Alex your crazy" Isabel said in shock. Alex then sprang up from the floor. "I am serious I want to spend forever with you" he cried

"No Alex we can't!" She said laughing at his display as she got up form the blanket. "And if you think that this is going to make me sleep with you your wrong." She said as he kissed her again.

"Oh it was worth a shot." He said smiling. "But I have to say you look extremely sexy right now." She grinned as she engulfed his mouth with a kiss. "Thanks I try" Alex said shyly as they both laughed.

"Come on lets look at the stars more." Isabel said as she ran towards the huge telescope. "Mark my words one day Isabel Evans I will marry you!" Alex said grinning as he ran towards her.

"Really I get to marry the luckiest man in the world. I am so honored." She said as Alex pulled her in for a kiss. They sat there kissing each other with their passion growing until Isabel pulled away.

"Stars Alex" "Really you saw Stars Wow I didn’t think I was that good!" Alex said in shock. "No Alex Stars." Isabel said as she nudged her head towards the telescope.

"Oh Stars right." Alex said as he walked towards the telescope and peered through the small eyehole. "Oh my god Isabel you have to see this! It's amazing!" Alex said as he blinked his eyes.

Isabel looked through the small eyehole. Through it she could see a cluster of diamonds shinning brightly until she saw it Venus glowing in the night sky it was so bright she felt like she could reach her hand out and touch it.

She stared at the beautiful planet until she saw a white shooting star fly across it. "Vilandra" a strange voice rang in her ears until the shooting star white light blurred past the planet into the starry abyss.

She gasped. "Isabel are you ok? Alex said as he watched her gasp for air as she looked through the eyehole.

She gained her breath and composed herself before she turned to him. Her face was pale as if she has seen a ghost and then firmly said "Something’s wrong we have to go."

And with that the two left the observatory and fled into the night.

Chapter 47

An oval of white light broke through the darkness lighting up the sky. It burned for a few seconds and then vanished as Liz stood in aw as to what just happened. She was amazed she survived the trip and was still breathing normally due to the change in atmosphere on Antar.

The black iron gates leading into the city were in front of her. Liz took a deep breath and walked over the drawbridge into the dimly lit town.

The street were busy with the massive evening crowds smiling and laughing joyously making there way towards the local taverns for some late night entertainment as they carried their lanterns high making the street glow like gold.

Liz pushed her way through the crowds hoping to find her way to the castle but it was no use every time she tired to move she was pushed further into the crowds. At last she tired to make a run for it when she saw some space in front of her but before she could a hand reached out and grabed her.

She screamed but it was no use her mouth was covered by the stranger’s hand. She squirmed as the stranger grabbed hold of the black cord around her neck and pulled out what was hidden underneath. The world wind pendent gleamed as it was exposed in the moonlight.

"There there my sweet Elizabeth" The cold blooded voice of the stranger whispered into her ear.

Liz gasped for air as fear took over her body as she struggled to break free. She finally was able to break free of the stranger’s tight hold but tripped and fell banging her head on the stonewall and then everything went blank.

Liz woke to find herself in a nice warm bed. "It was just a dream." She said groggy as she reached out her hand towards Max. However Max was not there and she bolted up when she realized she was not in her room but rather in a dark chamber with a fire burning brightly. She shivered and then realized she was wearing next to nothing but a lace bra and panties.

A tall man with blond hair and blue eyes then entered. "Aw I see you are awake. That was quite a fall you had." He said as he made his way towards the bed and sat down as Liz jumped clutching the sheets close to her. "Who are you?" she said her voice barely a whisper.

"Who am I. Surely you know. I am Kivar the once beloved king of Antar. And you must be the lovely Elizabeth Parker. I finally have the honor of meeting you. I can see why Max was attracted to you." he said smiling devilshly.

"You leave Max out of this! I demand my cloths back and my pendent!" Liz yelled.

"My, my, my, such a temper is that kind of behavior necessary after just meeting each other. Really Liz it is so unbecoming for you." Kivar said smiling as he got up off the bed.

"Wait I though you were dead? Now I remember Serena killed you." Liz said trying to make sense of it all.

"Killed is an understatement. More like shipped me off to the Antar prison for sometime. But I was no match for those idiots. I escaped and now I have you." Kivar said as his eyes gleamed with excitement.

"You see Liz you hold the key to me becoming a great king again. Once Max finds out I have you he will travel back to Antar looking for you. His sister will eventually follow.

However once Max arrives he will find that you have fallen in love with me. It will destroy him and then I will kill you both and claim Valandra as my Queen and we will rule Antar together.

"It will never work." Liz yelled. Kivar laughed, "Ok it can and it will!" he said as she inched himself closer to her face as he rubbed his hand against her cheek.

"I'm sorry Liz that I will have to kill you in the end however having a little fun with you wouldn't hurt anyone. You must be a sex goddess in bed." He whispered as his eyes gleamed with the fires of desire as he lean in closer to her.

Liz spat at him. "Fine have it your way but make my words I will make you my own!" He venomously said as he whipped his face. "Your cloths are in the closet. Good night Liz!" he yelled as he left the room and slammed the door behind him.

Liz sat there frozen and then started to cry she lay on the soft sheets and pulled the covers close to her as she cried herself to sleep.

"Liz is gone Isabel. See" Max said as he looked his sister in the eye as she read the letter Liz left for him.

"Max look I can see why she left. Liz has been though a lot however there is something I have to tell you. Alex and I the other night went to the observatory and I heard this strange voice calling out the name Valenitra. Max I think it was Kivars voice I heard." Isabel said with concern.

"That’s crazy Isabel Kivar is dead." Max said trying to make sense of it all. "I fear something will happen to Liz out there." Isabel said frantic. "OK OK I will look into it." Max said hugging his sister.

"Hey are you ok? I came as soon as I heard." Tess said shyly entering the room seeing Max upset. "Good night Max." Isabel said leaving the two alone.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Tess said looking at him as she sat down onto the bed. "No" Max said shacking his head.

"Max come here." Tess said softy as she placed her hands on Max's forehead. "Tess what are you doing?" Max said in shock.

"Shh I am not going to hurt you. Please we are past that stage. I am here to help." Tess softy whispered. Max nodded his head. "Now place your hands on my forehead." Tess instructed as Max did so. "Now close your eyes." Tess whispered as Max closed his eyes.

They sat like that in silence for a long time until Tess opened her eyes. "Max you have to contact Ava and go back to Antar. Please. Listen to Isabel." Tess said with her eyes misty.

"Tess? Um ok I will." Max said as he hugged her. " Get some sleep. You look exhausted." Tess said getting up from the bed. "Good night Tess" Max said as he pulled the covers over him. "Good night Max" Tess said as she turned the light off and Max closed his eyes.

Chapter 48

"I was wasted in the afternoon
waiting on a train I woke up in pieces
and Elisabeth had disappeared again
I wish you were inside of me
I hope that you're ok
I hope your resting quietly
I just wanted to say
goodnight Elisabeth"

"Do you have to listen to that depressing music!" Isabel said annoyed she turned off the radio in Max's room.

"Honestly Max I can't stand it when you are in one of your "I hate life" moods and stay in your room all day listening to Counting Crows!" Isabel groaned as she walked into the cluttered room full of moving boxes.

"What is all of this anyway?" Isabel said as she sat down on Max's bed. "Packing for college. I leave in less then a week you know." Max said as he placed a full box of cloths next to the bed.

"Well as normal as you are trying to be may I remind you of the fact that while you are here packing your wife could be in the hands of Kivar!" Isabel said staring her brother in the eye.

"You think I don't know that!" Max yelled as he sat down on the bed frustrated.

"So when are you leaving?" Isabel said looking at her brother.

"Soon I am not sure when maybe tonight" Max said trying to gather his thoughts.

"Well I am going." Isabel said firmly. "No your not!" Max said shacking his head as he got up from off the bed.

"Max don't you see Kivar doesn’t want you. It's me he wants. I am the one who got us into this mess I am the one to fix it." Isabel set getting up from the bed.

"Isabel it's too dangerous. I am going. If Liz is with Kivar it's me who has to save her. That’s what Ava said when I talked to her. I changed Liz when I healed her.

We are one because I poured my soul into her when I healed her. That is why we can connect. I have to go Isabel. I can't lose her." Max said as tears of pain filled his eyes.

"And I couldn't bear to lose you." Alex said as he entered Max's room. Isabel turned around and looked at him. "He's right Isabel. Max has to go on his own." Alex said nodding nobly at his friend Max.

"Well that’s it I think I am ready to go. But I need you to do one more thing for me Isabel. I need you to dream walk me into Liz's dream to make sure she is safe." Max said firmly as his sister nodded.

Liz was mostly beaten and tortured by his second in command or sometimes it was Kivar who did the beating in the beginning. However the beating became less and Liz was more tired up then anything else and was free to move about.

Liz sat in the chamber tired up as Kivar finished his dinner. It had been the nightly ritual Liz had experienced for some time dinning with Kivar at night.

Every night she was asked to wear what he told her to. Tonight it was a fitted long black low cut medieval dress embroidered with gold. Her hair huge loosely around her face. Liz was grateful for the dress because most of the time it was hardly anything at all but scantly clothed laniary

"Here Liz let me see your hands. I am not going to hurt you. Let me see." Kivar said in a gentle voice. Liz hesitated and then showed him her bound hands. Kivar released them. "There you will feel better now.” he said looking into her eyes. "Thank you." Liz murmured as she rubbed her newly freed hands.

Kivar just sat there memorized. This small creature had enough strength to melt even the coldest of hearts and make them soft.

"Is something wrong?" Liz said staring at him. The look on his face was as if he had just scene a ghost. "No." he said quickly turning his gaze away. "It's just that you are so beautiful" he said softly.

"Really so is that what you say to all the royal woman of Antar kill them with flattery. Was that the way you killed Valandra " Liz said disgusted.

"You monster" Kivar yelled as his eyes gleamed with anger as he threw his goblet to the floor as he ran and clutched the arm handles of her chair.

"I should kill you now!" his hissed as his hot breath stung Liz's face as he inched closer to her.

"You wouldn't dare after all I am the key to your plan." Liz said firmly though she was trembling inside as she glared up at Kivar as he placed his hand over her cheek as anger filled his eyes.

"Tell me do you hear them at night the ones you have killed crying in agony. Tell me do you hear their heart ach, their shattered dreams,
and tears of blood shed,

do you hear their screams of pain you have caused them all of these years!!!! Do you hear them Kivar because I do!" Liz spat viciously as Kivar looked her deep in the eye.

He then captured her mouth in a passionate kiss. Liz returned his kiss not know why a force greater then hers was taking over her as their mouths dulled on a frenzy of passion and desire.

Kivar placed Liz down onto the bed and undid her dress straps, as they held each other not breaking their connection, as their kisses became more demanding. Kivar then pulled Liz's dress down further and stared kissing her neck, as her moans grew louder.

"MAX!" she cried as she opening her eyes as Kivar stopped and looked up at her dischelved appearance as she lay on the bed clutching her dress close to her.

"What did you say?" Kivar said in shock as he stared at her confused.

"I said nothing." She panted trying to catch her breath as she looked up at him with frightened eyes.

Kivar got up from the bed as Liz sat there. "I'm sorry...I..I have to go.,” he said as he abruptly left her slamming the door behind him.

Max opened his eyes panting. "Max are you ok? Tell me what did you see?" Isabel asked with concern.

"I'm fine. Isabel I have to go. Alex take good care of her." Max said hugging Isabel and Alex goodbye. "Be safe" Isabel whispered. "Bring her back." Alex said as Max climbed out his bedroom window and ran into the night.

As Max ran through the dessert he looked up at the sky and say the royal V shinning brightly in the ebony sky as he neared the triangle shaped rocks. "It worked,” he whispered as he ran inside the dark room and in a few there was a flash of light and he was gone.

Chapter 49

Liz was in a frenzy of passion as she felt Max's connecting pulsing through her as he kissed her. "MAX" she yelled opening up her eyes as Kivar broke from their kiss looked at her.

"What did you say?" he said breathlessly as he released her. "I said nothing,” Liz said as she looked up at Kivar as she tried to catch her breath. Liz could still Max's touch pulsating through her body making her blood boil with desire.

"I'm sorry I...I have to go." Kivar said abruptly as he quickly left the room leaving Liz alone with her thoughts.

Liz closed her eyes "I feel you are close. I love you" Liz said as her connection flooded through her body causing a light to burn inside her as she tried to reach Max. She then opened her eyes as she lay down on the bed in aw as the moonlight surrounded her.

"Serena I came as soon as I could are you ok?" Max said, as his eyes grew wide with fright. "What are you taking about Max you look a wreck?" Serena said softy as she looked at her bewildered cousin.

"Serena you don’t know about Kivar?" Max said in shock.

"Kivar what about him?" she said confused.

"He has escaped and has Liz. Liz came to Antar in search of answers about her past and destiny only Kivar got to her first." Max said as tears filled his eyes.

"Oh Max. If what you are saying is true then I fear the worst has happened to Liz. She might even be.... dead" She said her voice barely a whisper as her thoughts wondered.

"No she is alive. I saw the royal V in the sky she is ok. But I have to find her." Max said firmly as Serena looked at him in the firelight of her royal chamber.

"I will send a search party out at once we will announce to the royal council as to what has happened and they will bring Liz back." Serena said forming a plan of action in her mind.

"No Serena this is something I have to do on my own. Kivar was the one who tore my family apart in the past and it is my duty as a king to see it dose not happen again I own that to my family and to Liz." Max said looking Serena deep in the eyes.

"You are still the caring boy I grew up with always looking out for the ones you love. I will see what I can do to help you. Your powers will need to be fine tuned especially if you are going up against Kivar. Let me see." Serena said getting up from her chair and went to her chest of draws.

"Here this will help you. I received it as a gift a long time ago you don't need to know how I got it... if the royal senate knew I had this... anyway it is very powerful use it wisely." Serena said giving Max a small cloth bag.

He unwrapped it and saw a small healing rock.

"A healing rock?" he said looking confused

"Not just any healing rock yes it does have the power to heal however it also has enough strength to destroy anything that touches it when it is lit." Serena said softy as she covered the rock.

"Guard it with your life." She whispered as she held Max's hand covering the bag.

"I will" he nodded as Serena looked around the room. "Here you can stay here tonight in this room. Stay there until I tell you it is safe to leave. If the Senate found you here they will question me as to why and then they might think something is up." She said as she led him into a small chamber.

"Thank you Serena. But I have one question why is it that Liz can't have children? And how come she can connect with me? And why does she get flashes when I kiss her? And why did she say she lived on Antar the night of our wedding here?" Max said searching frantically for the truth.

"My dear boy haven't you learned anything. Some things can't be explained but rather felt with the heart. That is why Liz can connect with you because she felt you and breathed you long before she was born on Earth.

Liz is your lost love Max reborn into this life to be Queen of Earth with you by her side. That is why she remembers Antar.

As far as to why she can't have children I am not sure but that doesn’t matter what matters is that we get her back." Serena said smiling as she kissed Max on the forehead.

"Rest now Max. Sweet Dreams." Serena said as Max wearily got into bed and closed his eyes.

"I'm so worried." Isabel said as the group sat in the Valenti household. It had been two days since Max left Earth and the group was restless. "I am sure Max is fine." Alex said squeezing her hand. "But what if he doesn’t come back and Liz is..." Michael said all chocked up.

"Look Max would of given us a sign to let us know he is alive." Kyle said trying to lighten up the mood. "He's right I know it is had for all of us but Max and Liz would want us to continue to go about our lives." Jim said trying to comfort the group.

"Max and Liz are going to be ok." Tess said softy. "I know but...if I lose Liz... or Max... oh god" Maria said sobbing as Michael comforted her.

"We could dream walk him?" Alex suggested, "We could pray" Kyle said looking at the worried group.

"We could do both but I am going to need your help guys." Isabel said looking at them. "We all have to sit in a circle and join hands. See Max is too far away and I need all the energy I can get to reach him. I also need a picture of Max and Liz to connect to them both." Isabel said as the group hurried to get set up.

"Will this do?" Kyle said handing Isabel the group picture of the Prom. "Yes this will do." Isabel said as she placed the photo in front of her.

"Ok now join hands and close your eyes and take deep breaths" Isabel said as the group closed their eyes and she placed her finger down on the photo.

"Max if you are there please give me a sign."

"Isabel I am safe Liz is alive. I am not sure where she is but she is alive.

"OK our prayers are with you Max."

" Tell them I am safe. I love you Isabel"

"I love you Max"

"Bring her back and safe journey home"

Isabel opened her eyes just as everyone did. "That was amazing! I felt like I was there!" Alex said in aw. "Wow that was incredible" Kyle beamed.

"Thanks guys at least we know that they are safe for a little while." Isabel said smiling but in her heart she knew the worst was yet to come.

Liz woke to be greeted by Kivars second in command. "Being you over slept today. I ran you a bath so that you could get ready for dinner. You must be dying for one." He said as Liz rose. "Everything you need is here. Your cloths are on the chair." He said leaving Liz in the candle lit room.

The warm water felt good against her skin and she started to relax a little.

She then downed her face and washed her hair in the water. After ward she flipped it back and shook it a little. She then emerged from the tub.

"Liz I wanted to...." Kivar said breathlessly as he was taken aback by the sight in front of him as he opened the door. The way the candlelight made her skin glow, those curves, those hips, it was pure beauty drowning in liquid gold.

He gasped as Liz quickly covered herself with a towel. "Yes" she said abruptly as a cold shiver ran down her spin as he stared at her like she a procession of some kind as he slowly walked behind her and placed his hands on her shoulders as he brushed his face softy over her neck.

"I wanted to tell you that you do not have the honor of dining with me tonight in your chamber. But rather I will be taking you out on the balcony." He said softy into her ear as Liz stood their trembling.

"I will be waiting." She said softy as he brushed his hand over her jaw line before he left.

The balcony was illumined with candles as Liz entered wearing a long low cut black silk lace dress. Her hair cascaded around her framing her face as she waited. "She walks in beauty like the night" Kivar softy said as Liz smiled weakly as Kivar placed a small kiss on her neck.

"Kivar please." Liz sighed. "Oh I am sorry about the other night after all it was rude of me to ravish you like that. I hope you can forgive me." he turned looking into her eyes.

Those ice blue cold eyes how could they ever be capable of love? Liz thought. "Yes I forgive you" She said and then walked over to the railing. "It's such a beautiful night." Liz said breathing in the night air as she looked up at the stars.

"Yes a beautiful night indeed." he said as he approached her. "Kivar what do you wish for?" Liz whispered. "What?" "The stars what do you wish on a star for?" Liz said looking at him before turning her gaze back to the million diamonds in the sky.

"Now that’s a good question what do I wish for? Well I wish that one day I could own all of these stars and rule the galaxies" He sighed.

"You want to know what I wish for? I wish for Love." Liz whispered as tears filled her eyes as she sighed. "Oh but you are loved Liz" Kivar said as he whispered into her ear as he placed a hand onto her waste pressing her against him.

"Did you love Valandra like this?" Liz said softy. "No Liz you have done something to me that I have never felt before." He whispered softy as he started to passionately kiss her neck.

"But Kivar you can't deny what your heart tells you and you and Valrenda were destined to be together." Liz said as her heart pounded with fear. "No I was destined to be with you." Kivar said as he turned and passionately kissed Liz.

"How can you be sure?" Liz said pulling away. " I see it in your eyes you want me as much as I want you Liz. Please don't go against what you heart tells you." Kivar whispered as he slowly started to pull Liz's dress up her leg.

"Um Kivar there will be plenty of time for that." Liz said quickly moving away. "Now tell me what makes my pendent so important?" Liz said looking at him across the room with seductive eyes.

"Oh it's nothing,” He said moving closer to her. "Well then if it is not important can I have it back?" She said batting her eyes.

"You going to have to pry it off me first." He said huskily. "Oh with pleasure." Liz said as she passionately kissed him unbuttoning his shirt a little to expose his chest.

Liz's eyes widened as she saw the whirlwind pendent gleaming brightly in the moonlight as she kissed his chest as her hands tried to reach hold of it and take it off Kivars neck.

"Wait now it's my turn" he whispered as her took her chin in his hand. "My turn" Liz whispered as she held the pendent close to her. "Yes" He said as he slowly dropped one thin strap to the side. "Oh Kivar really must we rush things." Liz hesitated she was so close to get the pendent she wasn't about to give up now.

"Your right. It was foolish of me to force you into doing anything." he said pushing Liz softy away causing her to drop her hold of the pendent as he buttoned his shirt as Liz sighed in frustration she was so close to getting the pendent.

"Oh don't be disappointed Liz we shall have another night like this soon." Kivar said as he kissed her on the neck. "I shall look forward to it." She smiled. "Good night Elizabeth" he said softy as he kissed her passionately.

"Good night Kivar" Liz said as she watched him go and then turned and walked over to the railing of the balcony and looked up at the stars.

"I love you Max" Liz whispered softy as she closed her eyes and then opened them as tears ran down her cheeks.

Chapter Fifty

Tess looked out at the stars from her window. "I think Max needs me,” she whispered. "How can you be sure?" Kyle said questing her.

"I feel he needs some help, especially if he is going up against Kivar. Just a little diversion that’s all." Tess said as a small smiling creped over her face as Isabel and Kyle looked at her confused.

"But Tess your powers will never work you are too far away." Isabel said trying to come to her senses.

"Look Isabel my powers are stronger then you think. I have had practice with them at and early age and they have reached there full potential.

Trust me sometime Max can connect with me too but on a different level especially since we worked on refining our powers together. Please let me do this." Tess said softy as she looked at Isabel with caring eyes.

"Look Isabel I love your brother just as much as you do. It has already been a week since he left Trust me. I know what I am doing,” she said smiling.

"Ok just be careful." Isabel said smiling as Tess closed her eyes.

Liz lay in bed dressed in a black lace bra and panties watching the fire burn bright her eyes felt heavily as sleep was taking over but she forced herself to stay awake Kivar would be in her chamber soon to wake her from sleep and she feared the worst.

"Liz" a soft familiar voice whispered from the curtains. "Max!" Liz sighed as he emerged dressed in black and made his way towards her bed in the dark room. He bent down and kissed her passionately. "Oh god Max! How did you find me?" Liz said breathlessly as she held him close.

"With love light wings did I o'er-perch these walls; for stony limits cannot hold love out and what love can do that dares love attempt therefore thy kinsmen are no stop to me" he whispered as he kissed her.

"But Max if Kivar sees you...he will kill you. You must go." Liz said frantically. "Shh I am not going anywhere. Kivar will not come trust me my love you are safe." Max whispered as he held her close.

"Liz he didn't hurt you? I mean he didn't...." Max whispered as fear took over his eyes as he dreaded the worst.

"No Max, Kivar hasn't slept with me. Your still my own." She whispered softy as she placed her hand on his cheek and smiled. And then her voice became shaky "As of now but I am not sure how long I can hold him back.

Max he has the pendent and wants to kill you and Isabel and me as well but I am not sure if that is going to happen! Max he wants me to be his Valandar! And... and...it’s all my fault... if I never came to Antar searching for answers then... then... this would of never happened." Liz said as tears filled her eyes.

"Shh Liz it wasn't your fault your a scientist you are always searching for the truth and that is why I love you. Like I said before we create our own destiny." He said softy as he kissed her on the forehead.

"Max what are we going to do?" Liz said looking up at him with concerned eyes. "Serena knows I am here. I am staying with her for the time being." Max said as he kissed her tenderly. "We will figure out something." He whispered.

"Look I need you to find out anything you can about what Kivar has in store. Find out what he is after and why the pendent is so important. Please Liz I am counting on you." Max said firmly as he held her arms.

"I will try to find out what I can." Liz said nodding in agreement.
"I have to go." Max whispered. "Please stay. Max don’t leave me." Liz sighed as her heart melted seeing his eyes glow in the firelight.

No matter how hard he tried he could never leave she had a force on him that was stronger then anything in this world.

"Liz I will never leave you. If Kivar kills me then so be it I would rather die in your arms then spend another day without you." he said huskily as he pulled her into a deep passionate kiss full of fire and want.

They fell onto the bed their kissing intensifying just as their desire for one another. "Max" Liz moaned softy as he kissed her gently.

Kivar could never love like this. His kisses were cold and numbing just like his heart.

"Max I love you, I love you, I love you" she whispered softy into his ear as he kissed her neck. She then threaded her hands through his hair and kissed him as his arms wrapped around her body.

"I love you" he sighed as he kissed her hard pressing himself against her. "Liz you so beautiful." he said softy as he threaded his hands through her long chestnut brown hair.

He then broke from their kiss and lay his head down onto her chest as they both breathed each other in listening to the rhythm of their hearts beating as one as they enjoyed the moment of being together in the dark dimly light room.

Max then got up from the bed as Liz sighed from her lose of losing him holding her. "Must you go" Liz sighed "I have to, but I will come again." Max said as he tucked Liz into bed.

"I love you" Liz said softy as she kissed him. "I love you. Sleep now. Sweet dreams my Liz." He whispered as he kissed her one last time before fleeing into the night.

Tess opened her eyes by this time everyone in her room was sleeping soundly as she sighed.

"Hopefully I kept them safe for another night.” She whispered smiling to herself as she climbed into bed next to Kyle and kissed him on the cheek and closed her eyes.

Chapter Fifty One

Liz entered the darkly lit room as white candles glowed giving off their golden light.

"Elizabeth you came please sit down." Kivar said sitting in a large black armchair.

Liz dressed in a dark eggplant colored flowing gown sat down as Kivar poured her some tea. "I hope it is not too hot" Kivar said as he handed her a cup.

Liz smiled weakly as she took the silver cup and placed it to her lips. The sweet liquid tasted more like bitter poison. Nothing felt real anymore to her.

She sighed remembering the sweet kisses Max had given her a few hours ago. Melting the ice in her soul and making her feel alive again. The spark was reunited giving her the strength she needed to complete her task. She knew what had to be done.

"You seem distant tonight,” Kivar said looking at Liz staring at the glowing candles. "What? Oh I am sorry,” she said looking up into his frozen blue eyes. "It's just I was wondering how you meet Valendra" She said smiling at him.

"Why talk about Valandra when I have you." Kivar whispered softy. "Oh but Kivar you know how I love Love Stories." Liz sighed dreamily.

"Very well where do I begin? Lets see Antar was at the brink of a Golden Age. My family was very well known in the land for our political duties. However Zan family was not as welcoming to us. You see my father and Zan's father had some disagreements on how Antar should be run. It made them become bitter over the years and eventually became enemies.

Serenia was Max's cousin and was friends with a girl named Tess whose guardian was Nascado a great warrior and protector to us. Tess was friends with Isabel the two grew up together. I had heard stories about how beautiful she was from my Nicholas who was a skin. He was my friend and comrade. He was quite the ladies man and knew how to spot out the good ones.

However I never meet her. That is until after Zan father died. Zan was the next in line to take the thorn and was to be married. So the night of his Coronation his family had a huge party at the palace. Nicholas and I snuck in.

I remember I was outside and was aw struck when I saw her. She was like Venus herself standing by the water looking up at the stars. She turned and smiled at me I went over to her and introduced myself. We talked about her father's death Zan as the new King and such.

Time past and soon her name was being called and that is when I kissed her. It was intoxicating her kiss and I knew I wanted more. It was from then on we were inseparable but we had to keep it a secret for if our families knew it would be tragic.

Time went on Antar was accepting of the new king. Well some were. Many people thought that Zan was trying to get to many things done at once. Michael his second in command told him to not do so much at once but he didn't listen and it cost him.

Geer a skin hated the Antars and wanted the royal four dead and so did the Kathanas, Seros, and Hanars so that they could gain power over the lands and rule. It had been a like matchbox sitting there for years just ready for the first one to strike the match and make everything go up in flames. They wanted war and Zan was too blind to see it until it was too late.

Kathana was the first to strike the match attacking me and then it spread like wildfire. We attacked Sero and Sero attacks Hanar. 50 years the dame war lasted and it all could have been solved if Zan had given me the Granilith. Many of the skins renegades as they called them thought Michael should of been the one on the thorn that he would of been the one to have brought about peace and end the blood shed.

Valandra wanted to end the war wanted her brother dead and for me to rule so one night she brought me through the gates one night demanding we come to being peace however I knew the war wasn't over and had plans of my own." Kivar said his eyes gleaming.

"So you killed her?" Liz said coldly. "Yes only to find out that the royal four were saved and set to earth in 1947 along with the granolith to keep it safe. While the Royal four were hibernating in the pods. Nascado went to earth to see if it was safe. He befriended James Atherton's who lived in Texas.

They were friends. He was the first to write about the Roswell Crash in 1947 and published many books including Among Us in 1955. However the friendship lasted until 1959. When Nascado gave him that pendent and found out that he was going to expose Nascado for who he really was and would be captured. No one would find out that James Atherton was in fact a Skin ready to take the Royal four when they were ready to enter into the world.

When mean while Nascado really wanted the royal four alive so his daughter could carry out the pact I made with him before he left in that Tess return the royal four with Max's unborn son.

Nascado killed James along with a number of Skins. He has thought he had gotten them all and hid out for a little while in an Indian reservation and befriended a man named River Dog. There he left a message to the Royal Four saying he was alive and a message from their homeland. Nasado eventually found Tess and the rest of the Royals and took care of them.

He had thought he had gotten all of the Skins until Congress Whitager came along she was Geers real daughter and was adopted by Nicholas family. When Max and the other's activated the orbs they sent a signal out to all of the skins that the royal four were still alive. That is why Geer was in Arizona and Congress Whitager killed Nascado hoping the royal four would come to Geer and return the Granilith to them.

Well we all know what happened there the Harvest of the skins was destroyed by you stupid creatures. So I thought being I was in charge of Antar that the best was to call a royal summit and talk the matter over. You know a little sit down with the other planets. The terms were that Max becomes King in name, I would hold all the power and government, that Max lay down his weapons and return the Granilith. However due to his controlling matter he would keep the Granilith. It was a pity because we could of had peace under my rule. It just goes to show you if you want something done never

Well now Sernia is in power and the rest you know is history. And to think I did it all for love." Kivar said bitterly.

"You do not know what love is. How could you kill all those innocent people and kill you only love all for power! Max might of made some bad descisions but he never meant to hurt anyone and certainly not me." Liz yelled with as much fire and passion in her voice.

"You know you look so sexy right now." Kivar said laughing. "My dear Liz I will have my way as King again and their is nothing you can do to stop me." He said strumming his fingures an after affect of Tess's mind warp which Liz recongized.

"We shall see I have my ways too Kivar." Liz said suductively as she watched Kivar. "Is that so? Why don't you show me." Kivar whispered huskly as he pulled himself closer to her ready for a kiss. Liz shook her head. "Not until you tell me why the pendent is so important to you." She said smiling.

"The pendent was something the royal four had in common. It was a link for them all to great protection but great power as well some say it even brings death. It was told that who ever held the pendent was able to activate the granilith and hold the wisdom of past ages and all the powers of the ancesters would be given to who ever had it.

However only a person of pure blood can activate it." he said looking into her dark soft eyes. "Now were where we.Aw yes showing me your ways." he said as he leand in closer to her.

"So is that why you need Max here so he can activate it." Liz sighed. "Yes my angel and then I will kill him. Now where were we." he said as he leaned in and kissed her.

"Kivar I have only one request and then you can have your way with me." She whispered as she rubbed his hand. "Yes" Kivar said raising his eye bows. "That you give me the pendent and I be the one to kill Max Zan Evans." she whispered passionatly.

Kivar smiled and then burst out laughing. "Give you the pendent?... Why Yes... oh I like the way you think! Max can activate it because you can give it to him and he will still think you love him and then you will kill the lovesick fool and I will gain my glory with you as my Queen. Yes yes you can have the pendent!" Kivar cried as he placed the necklace over Liz's head.

"Now can I make my Queen my own" Kivar said softy as he stood up and pulled Liz close. "Oh Kivar you can have me after I kill Max. Then you will have me for eternity and I will make all of your wild fantasies come true!" Liz said breathlessly praying he would let her go.

"I shall look forward to it. Go you need your rest my dear sweet Liz." Kivar said placing a kiss on her forehead. "Oh thank you. You won't regret this." Liz beamed as she ran to her chamber and shut the door.
