That's good news for her and her fans.
It's on a cable network, which I don't have access to, but I'm
sure if/when it airs fans on her will discuss it and share info.

I was out 'fishing' for
Bones scoops on the TV Line site and found this scoop instead:
"Question: Shiri Appleby put this picture on Instagram this morning. Do you know anything about it? –Rachael
Ausiello: I can confirm that the photo is, indeed, of the Roswell alum (and recent friend of Chicago Fire) getting made up for a Law & Order: SVU guest stint. She’ll play Amelia Albers, a junior military officer who’s stopped for a DUI while on leave in New York City, but the arresting officer calls in Benson & Co. when it appears Albers has been raped. The episode, “Military Justice,” will air in November."

She's so youthful she can play a 'junior' officer in the military.
I don't watch the show, but I'd tune in to see Appleby.
It might be emotionally difficult for me to watch though.
I'm usually NOT home to watch evening programmes,
but, just in case, could someone, please, give me a
heads up on the air date?

Helen, that's the benefit of still looking 16!
As for the air date, we'll know more comes November about the actual day, and I'll post it here (or someone else will, I'm sure
