Leaning back in my chair I'm about to hang up when I hear Liz's voice in the phone, "Hey girlie, it's Angela." I say feeling better already, "What's up?" I ask.

"Scared of the beast within hu? That's why you spend 18 hours a day couped up in an office with one window Alex. Let it go man." I chuckle at the look on his face.

"And hey, if my clothes don't fit you, I do have some good rope that will help hold them on. And a new roll of duct tape."

ALEX

"Never knew that you were into bondage, Guerin." I mutter as I just avoid some crazy jogger who is jogging almost in the middle of the road - in a city!

"Do you know the owner of the club … uh, what's the name of the club again?"



should we jump forward to when everyone is at the club? I'm asking because so far, there's not much going on

Max drops me off at the dealership "I'll see you there" I say as get out of the car and Max peels off into the night, doing about 70mph on a residential street.

I head inside and get my keys from the receptionist, who stayed late especially for me "Why aren't you just the sweetest thing" I say to Diane, who smiles and blushes. I promise to take her to lunch sometime to thank her for her kindness and exit the office to pick up my car.

I click my alarm off and get in. God I love that new car smell, I think as I turn the engine o ver and listen to her purrrr. "Radio" I say and instantly the radio comes onto my favorite station as I pull out of the parking area and onto the street.

"What's up?" Angela asks.

"Not much, just about to hang out with the girls, you wanna join? We're all about to hit up that new club opening, "BED, ever hear of it?" I ask.

I decide to slip on something a little less comfortable. Pulling my black mini skirt on I look in my full length mirror. Not bad Tessie. Not Bad. My pink glitter spaghetti strap top has glliter all across the top. It opens in an V shape to reveal my newly pierced navel. I play with me new accessory. Jamie hated piercings. Ahhh Jamie the evil man that broke my heart. Whatever, thats done now. I slip on my black spiked Nine West heels and strut my stuff. Giving myself the once over one last time I head for the door.

"Whatcha think ladies?"

Liz tells me they're about to hit up the new club BED, the name sounds familiar which means it's probably come up in a conversation or two, which is normal considering the line of work I'm in. "I think so," I reply and look out my window, "I suppose I could join, if you guys want."

LIZ

"Of course we want you to join!" I quickly say. Even though Angela isn't the nicest person on earth I'm sure everyone would still like her to come along. "By the way Tess you look darling!" I cover the phone to say, "Well just let me know if you want to come or not Ang. So that way I can get you on the guestlist but knowing you I'm sure you're already on it."

I wink and Tess and look to see Maria staring at me in wonder, Angela. I mouth so that she knows who I'm talking to.

You guys soo know they love and adore Angela haha.

Guestlist? I've never not been put on a guestlist before so I'd be suprised if I wasn't on this one. I know the girls adore me, I mean I was like their mentor, I taught them everything they know about the tricks of the trade but there's times when I don't think they even like me. I know I can be a bitch but I've never been mean to them at least not as mean as I am to other people. "I'm sure the guestlist will be no problem." I tell her as my stupid assistant comes in, "Hold on okay?"

"What?" I ask rudely, I mean why is she bothering me... again?

"I brought you that lemon slice ma'am."

"What?"

"For your water."

"Did I not like ask for that three minutes ago?" I wait for her answer, hoping she'll go away so I can set up plans with Liz.

"Yes, but I had to go buy it from the market down the road."

"And I care.... why?"

"I'm sorry ma'am."

"You should be, now get the fuck out." I say while spinning my chair around so I'm not facing her, "Sorry about that, stupid assistant."

"So what was I saying..?" I say mindlessly, "Oh yeah I don't have anything better to do tonight unless I want to go do something with ....." What's his name again, "Umm, James?"

I look at what's going around and just watch, what would I do without my girls??

"Tess that looks great." I say giving her a smile. I walk to my room and look in my closet and decide to wear a champane color mini dress that stops 6 inches above my kness. I bring it out and ask the girl's for their opinon.
