I sighed as we sat in silence as usual around the dining table. As per usual, my father was at the head of the table reading papers, my mother was down the opposite end eating very little, and then there was I in the middle sitting there staring at my lunch.
"So Alex have you found a bride yet?" My father suddenly said looking at me in disdain.
"No father" I said as I played with the remainder of my food on my plate.
"Well find one." My father said bluntly before leaving the table.
"Don't forget your at Kyle's dinner tonight Alex" my mother said quietly before leaving to follow my father.
I sighed. Oh yes, Kyle's dinner. Almost forgot.
I slowly go up to my room. Max, Michael, Kyle, Maria and I altogether again. Maria was great. But she certainly had a tongue on her. She just wasn't who he was looking for.
I sighed once more as I started to get ready for tonights dinner.

Isabel

"Lizzie...are you happy about this whole coming out season of ours?...or is there something wrong with me?I can't seem to hold a conversation with any man,first of all they look at how tall I am and think...is she a giant of some sort and secondly,because of that I've always been so insecure around men that I can't act my usual self.I know I am a good person but it just doesn't seem to come through."...I sit down on the bed and hide my face in my hands

"Knock knock!" I say knocking on the door. I go into where Liz and Isabel are. "Gosh my mother goes on and on! Yap yap yap yap! I wondered where I got it from! So anyways, the Tess and Kyle thing, I..."
I look at Isabel and see with her face in her hands. "Isabel? What's the matter?"

Isabel

"I can't do this Ria...I just can't.I will not be able to stand another man looking at me like I am some sort of freak just because I am tall."

"Isabel, sweetie, don't worry. Yes, your a little taller than most, but I mean what's wrong with that! Your still a beautiful young lady with a wonderful personality to match and one day your going to find a guy that deserves you because he realises just how truely special you are. And if anyone judges you because your tall then there just stupid idiots who need to learn true beauty comes from within" I tell her.

Isabel

*sniff* I couldn't help but smile when I heard Maria say that..."Thank you sweetie,you always know what to say...I hope you are right."...the three of us hug..."it's so good to be together again...Now that I am over my lil bout of insecurity let's decide what we'll be wearing tonight...speaking of tonight shouldn't Tess be up here by now picking out a dress or at least getting to know us?Kyle must be working magic to have her so mesmerised.hahahahahah!!"

I smiled. "I know. I thought that Kyle was acted strange lately. I should have known he was into Tess. Aw, aren't they sweet. Well she's found herself a nice guy even before the coming out. I'm so very jealous. I wish it was that simple for the rest of us eh?" I said laughing. "Well, girlies what are you planning on wearing?" I ask with a smile.

Isabel

"Well I thought I'd wear a burgundy coloured gown...it's strapless,with a gathered waist and then flows loosely."

"Oh Isabel that sounds amazing! That will totally suite you!" I say beaming at her.

Isabel

I gave Maria a wide grin for paying me that compliment...this was going to be just like when we were little girls,playing dress-up...I thought...but only with alot of pressure from our mothers,society and god knows who else.

"Who all are coming for dinner,Maria?"
