*Max*

*Okay,* I agree.

Then I look around at the rest of my friends with an easy smile. Or at least one that looks easy. "Looks like we're ready to go then. Alex, did you bring your car? My jeep is in the shop. I got a ride with Trevor on the way in."

He didn't carry in an overnight bag, so I'm thinking Alex probably is driving one of the family cars...

As Max asks about the car, I nod. I have, because of the way he sounded on the phone… My original intention was to walk over here…it’s not too far, and I could have enjoyed the fresh air, but something about the tone of his voice, and the way we ended the call, told me that it was important to get here sooner…

Of course if Max wasn’t asking, I would probably keep quiet about that fact…never knowing what he might have in mind, especially with needing to get rid of Trevor. As it is though, Max brought it up, so I don’t see any reason why I shouldn’t answer.

The mention of the jeep does surprise me though…I hadn’t noticed that he hadn’t got it at school earlier… I shrug inwardly. Then again, that old thing is always breaking down…so I guess it’s nothing new… “Yeah, I’ve got the car…Tony’s out, so I thought I’d take advantage of that fact…” I say by way of explanation before looking round at the others. “So, who wants a lift…?”

It’s pretty cool being able to say that… Tony isn’t exactly one for sharing, even if the car is supposed to be ours jointly, and it makes a change not to be the one asking others for a lift.

I watch Max, trying to figure out what the plan is. I know that ditching Trevor has to be part of it, but I don't know how we're going to accomplish that. Normally, two cars would be fine for six people going to the movies, but that's not what we're doing. Still, I don't think I should be offering to get my car...

“So, who wants a lift…?” Alex asks.

"I'll ride with you, Alex," Max volunteers.

"I guess I can go with Trevor," I say, tentatively. I hope it's the right answer. Max merely nods, so I guess that works for him. "Maria and Tess?" I ask, wondering how this is going to go.

OOC: sorry, don't have much to say but hope this will work

~Alex~

“I’ll ride with you…” Max tells me and I nod, looking over at Kyle to wait and see what he’ll decide. He opts to ride with Trevor, and Max looks happy enough with that. As Kyle then asks the girls who they’re riding with, I can’t help thinking there’s already a plan in place here as Maria quickly says she’ll travel with Trevor… Of all of us, she’s like the least close to him… In fact she’s never even tried to talk to him much, and, on the occasion I do actually have a car she often rides with me…

Still, I’m sure they know what they’re doing…even if I do wish Kyle and I could be privy to the plan too…

“Ok, so you’re with me as well then I guess Tess…sound good to me…did we actually decide which movie we were going to see…?” I ask, deciding to keep up the normal conversation even though I’m certain the answer isn’t going to matter since we won’t end up there anyway…

~Isabel/Liz/Adam/Jessie/ (NPC'd parents)~

When everyone reached Morgana's all of the parents were already assembled along with the many siblings. Morgana glanced around as they entered and walked over to her nieces, Liz and Cameron. As much as she knew Isabel would need comfort, she also knew that Isabel was far too much like her father. "Girls, we've already got things set up. We'll find Michael, now. We've already packed and sent all of our belongings to houses in Roswell. Your grandparents had everything taken care of and we can easily make our way there." Morgana smiled and gave each of the girls a hug before moving to her son, Adam. "All that will happen easily. Now, before we go, I think we all want to know more about what happened?"

Isabel couldn't say anything, she wasn't certain how to explain. So instead, she looked over at Adam who nodded, "Mom, maybe it's better if I show everyone what was explained to me." Using his gift, he created the illusions of everything that he understood from what had been said. He knew only what Isabel and Cameron had said, but the bond that these four children had as they grew had allowed for images at times to join the words.

Ana moved up beside her daughter and wrapped her arms around her, "Lizzie, we're all wanting to help." She whispered in her ear as she gave her a gentle squeeze, her husband coming up on the other side to show his silent support.

Liz leant into her mothers arm's for a moment, grateful for the reassuring presence she provided. "Thanks mom..." She shook her head, wondering silently to herself how such a lovely day had turned into a real disaster... She had been looking forward to going to seeing TJ and Jo, and of course Rachel, for weeks... She had been so excited when she left the house that morning... Well, that mood had soon changed...

Swallowing, she tried to believe the things that Cameron had said, but still...she hadn't realised... Had she been blocking them - intentionally or not... The idea was silly of course, having received the later emotions, but still, it didn't stop her thinking... She looked up slightly, her voice little more than a whisper. "We have to find him..."

"And find him ye will, lass." A soft voice belonging to Ariel Donavan sounded. She had simply appeared near the girls and stood there with a smile. "I've good news. Everything is set and all of yer school records have already been transferred. Now, if ye 'ave somethin' extra ye want to do or get, do so now. We'll be goin' in true Donovan style and it's been decided that yer grandpere an' I will be bringing the cars." Ariel and Finn were often known for being able to do things more easily then anyone else in the family. Then again there was no loss of Fey blood in their veins.
Storm: Boone turned to face his daughter and said simply, "We've decided that it will be up to you kids how you want to handle this search."

Nash, Adam's father nodded as he looked at his son. "This doesn't mean doing anything foolish. If you aren't certain how to handle something we want you to come to us."

Rowan and Liam looked at Isabel, both speaking simultaniously. "Remember, sometimes you have to connect with others." They knew that Isabel would understand what they meant. Isabel had always been the solitary member of the family, not taking part in that many family rituals.

Mel looked at Cameron, "Cam, just remember, the family is your greatest strength." Then they all looked at Serena, "And we'll be counting on you to keep an eye on them, remind them of the important things whenever possible."

Liz rolled her eyes, trying to make light of all this for a moment. She looked around at her cousins. "Do you ever feel we get more than our fair share of parents..." She commented. Despite her words, she didn't pull away from her mother and was grateful to all her family for being there.

Adam shrugged, "As much as this talk may seem necessary to everyone, can we please get moving. Michael needs us and I hate to be wasting time." He was certain that his cousins and Serena would agree with him there.

Isabel looked at Liz as she heard her cousins comment and smiled, albeit a weak one, but it was better then not smiling at all. "Yeah, look at us we have four sets plus eight sets of grandparents." She chuckled and shook her head with a look of exasperation that she had mostly forced, but she wanted to get the others to laugh.

Rowan laughed outirght at her niece's comment, "Just wait Liz, one day this family of yours is going to overwhelm any man that comes into your life for the big committment." She joked, she was often speaking that way knowing her daughter was growing up and was a heartbreaker as far as she was concerned.

Liz shook her head. *That's what I'm afraid of..." She sent selectively to her cousins while fixing a smile for her mother. "Thanks...I'll remember that..."

Jessie, who had until now just been sat in silence, not having much to add to the conversation given she couldn't exactly help sighed. She knew only too well about their family's affect on potential boyfriends...her own college experience had been something without guys mainly...thanks to a little evening she had brought someone back... After meeting her family, the guy in question had run a mile, and most other boys had followed suit...

Adam responded silently to what Liz said, a smile on his lips, *I'd be afraid too, Liz. So, we'll just have to keep our lives seperate from family for a time when that happens.* He joked. Then out loud he turned to his mom, "Are the older kids coming too?"

Morgana shook her head, "They can if they want, but Donovan is talking about wanting to watch the shop for me here while I open a second one in Roswell."

Jessie looked over at him, a slight look of annoyance on her face. She knew that the cousins were very close, closer than she could be to any of them probably - both because of age, and parentage, but sometimes she really did feel as though they forgot she existed. "In case you'd forgotten, I'm right here Adam, and the answer to your question on my part is yes, I'm coming..." She looked over at Liz a moment, giving her a small smile. "I have to watch out for my baby sis don't I...?" Not that Liz really needed her...she knew her sister was more than capable of looking after herself, but still, she liked playing the big sister sometimes...

Her younger sister rolled her eyes and shook he head. "Not that I'm not pleased to have you along sis, but forget the 'baby' will you... I think I grew up a while ago..."

Adam turned to laugh at Jessie, "You know I didn't mean anything by it." He smiled, "It's just that not all of our older siblings are here." Then he turned to Liz, "Well, do you have everything you need?" He also glanced at the others and Isabel nodded when he met her gaze. He was ready to go.

Boone laughed and looked at Jessie, "Sweetheart, I for one am glad you decided to go. Mom and I would go crazy without you around." Jessie, Boone, Nash and Mel were the only normal human beings in the family, no powers or special abilities. However, his oldest daughter from his first marriage had proven to have talents that he was very proud of her for. "Besides, who else is going to tell me whether my new book will be a hit." Boone had been an author of mythical childrens books and Jessie had been his sounding board when he wrote.

Ana remembered the day she had nearly died while using her gift to heal Jessie and bring the girl back from the brink of death. It had been a time when she had thought Boone would never understand that she was a true witch.

Liz smiled at the banter which passed between the family. It was all just putting things off though...delaying it a little longer... She took a breath and looked over at a picture which sat on the fireplace showing the group of them a little more than a year ago...they had looked so happy... She looked up at her mother, pulling back now and stepping over to join her cousins. "Adam's right...we should be going..."

When everyone had gathered what was needed, Morgana reached out her hands, "Alright, everyone join hands. Our homes are on the same street right next to each other so we'll go to one and then disperse from there." Isabel and Adam instantly joined the circle even as the other parents took their place. One thing with the Donovans, their powers were stronger when combined and in this aspect, the adults were going to be doing all the work.

Liz reached out her hands, closing one over the one Adam offered. With the other, she reached out to her sister, pulling her into place and offering her a smile. "Thanks..." She whispered to Jessie before falling silent once more as the others completed the circle.

As soon as everyone had gathered, hands were held, the adults all began to focus and Finn himself led the group through a slight focussing before their magic flared and a moment later they found themselves standing inside a nicely built and decorated dining room that was definitely big enough to house their family during gatherings.

Finn looked around, "All of you get settled in and your cars will be along shortly." Without another word he and his wife left.

Ana looked at Jessie and Liz as well as her other children, "If you want to go explore the town and learn what you can, we live right next door on the left when you walk out the front door. On the other side of us is where Mel and Sebastion live and then on the right of this house is Liam and Rowan."

Isabel looked at the others, "I think I want to have a look around town." She was thinking that if no one else went she'd simply use an animal form in order to find out what she could.

Liz nodded. "Sounds good to me, it'd be useful to get our bearings and such if nothing else..." She agreed

Jessie shrugged. "I think I'll leave that to you guys...I'll leave it until the morning, then I can see about finding a job too..." She looked over at Boon. "Need any help settling in...?"

"Jessie, I can always use help. Especially since you and your mom have a habit of yelling at me when I unpack the books wrong." Boone smiled at her as he spoke and walked over to her, placing an arm over her shoulder. "So, while Ana figures out the meal she was fussing with idea's for all day, we can get that settled in and talk about things."

Adam shrugged and nodded, "I guess it wouldn't hurt anything to have an idea of things. Do we want to go as a group, or seperately?"

Isabel shrugged, "It's up to you guy's." She responded as she looked at her parents and then back at her cousins, "Anyone want to change first, or are we all set." Already, she could feel the difference in the weather. They'd just transported themselves from a nice evenly warm day to hot desert heat. Though, it wasn't quite as hot as what she was expecting. Of course, it was later on in the day, heading toward night.

"I say we go together..." Liz responded, before nodding at the suggestion to get changed. "That might not be such a bad idea for me if you guys don't mind..." Her outfit had been chosen with a day out with a six month old baby in mind...her jeans were old and worn, for the specific reasoning that if she wore something new, it would no doubt be ruined... Expecting to be spendign the day outside too, she felt rather hot in the jumper she had on, and although she'd be adding a light jacket, changing into a t-shirt or vest top would be most welcome...

Jessie smiled at her father's response, nodding to his last comment. "Sure, that's be nice..." She respsonded, leaning her head against his shoulder for a moment. Despite her age, she still liked to know her dad was there...

"I plan to change too," Isabel responded and went on to say, "Why don't we do it this way? Anyone going, meet in ten minutes outside of this house." I glanced around waiting for responses.

Adam nodded, "I'm going to get shorts on." He chuckled since he rarely wore them, "So, yeah let's meet out there."

OOC - Borrowing Trevor, a bit...

*Max*

"Yeah, we did," I laugh as Alex asks if we decided on a movie. I'm really glad we're finally out of the Crashdown and on our way to - whatever we're going to do. "I guess you were a bit pre-occupied."

Alex shrugs, giving a disarming smile. "I'm glad you're parked near-by," I say, noticing that is car is only a few dozen yards from here. Trevor parked across the street near the UFO Center, but we're still within sight of each other.

As Kyle, Maria and Trevor head across the street, I walk a step closer to Alex. "Trevor's about to have car trouble. He's not going to be able to make it to the movie," I tell him, quietly.

*~*~*~*~*~*

*Kyle*

"Okay then. Let's go," I say following Trevor out of the building. I'm watching Maria, sure that she's in on whatever plan is going to separate Trevor from the rest of us so we can talk a little. I'm about to ask where he's parked, but I see his car right across the street. "We only have 20 minutes before the movie starts," I remind him.

"We'll make it," he promises, and I know we would, if we were going.

"You want Shotgun?" I ask Tess as we arrive at the car.

OOC: Also borrowing Trevor :)

~*TESS*~

Smiling at Kyle's ever present sense of chivalry I shake my head. "No thanks Kyle, you have longer legs and I don't mind the back. Just make sure that you pick ok music."

I try not to stare over at Maria as she idles near the wheel of the car, arranging for Trevor's flat tire.

"So how did we end up with the pleasure of all the female company?" Trevor is a little obvious when he tries to flirt but I don't mind, and as it's taking his attention away from Maria I'm happy to play along for a while.
" I think Alex wanted to talk to Max, and besides, he never plays good music" I move a little closer and play with my hair, ignoring the dirty look Kyle gives me- he hates it whenever I flirt with anyone, especially when I play the bimbo as well, but I have found that it does create a great distraction.

I frown angrily as I listen to the boys response. “My name? You mean you hurt my friends, hurt me, drugged and dragged me hundreds of miles away and you don’t even know my name?”

Using a low pulse to start, I aim the weapon and release the trigger, letting a chord latch on to him and send volts of energy through him. A smirk lifted my lips as I let the volts continue for nearly a full minute before releasing the trigger. The chord remained latched on him. "Now, answer my questions and we can do this the easy way. Make me angry and I will see to it that your friends get a taste of this too."

I watched him carefully to see how he took this warning and wondered just how much I would have to do. "What is your name, alien boy?"

~Serena~ *Temping*

One minute we’re stood in Adam’s house in Oregon, another we’re in the middle of an unfamiliar room and I know if I look outside, the surroundings will have completely changed.

I know that I’ve been through this before, and on occasion Liz, Isabel and Adam have taken me with them when they’ve done it themselves, but still sometimes it does amaze me how powerful this family really is…

And yet despite all that power, they seem so normal sometimes… I can’t help giving an amused smile as Liz motions to her clothes, and it’s always nice to see Jessie with Boon.

Jessie and Boon are normal of course…just like me…but they’re still part of this wonderful family…

I’m lucky I know, to have been taken in by them after my mother died… They’re never made me feel like I’m not part of the family, and I’m sure I’m as close to Liz, Isabel and the others as I would be to real siblings – if I ever had any…

As Isabel says where to meet, I nod, although actually I’m not intending to change. My top and jeans is pretty lightweight, and even in the house I don’t feel too hot. As Adam mentions shorts of course I laugh. “What, you actually think someone wants to see your skinny legs…” I tease him lightly as we all head out of the room together.

Of course the teasing, chatter and smiles are all part of a cover…a facarde…to keep from showing how we all really feel… None of us are relaxed, or calm or happy…and I doubt that we will be until we find Michael and we’re all back together again…
