"Try having to work with her. She screws up on the easiest of jobs," Sage says, and I can't believe he is so oblivious.

"She only does that because she has the hots for you," I tell him as we get in the car. Then I shoot him my, 'duh, it's so obvious' look.

"Do you wanna go to the Crash Down before it closes, or go to Senor Chow's? Your driving so it's your choice." He adds, and I grin. "Senor Chow's. I ate at the Crash yesterday," I tell him as I wait for him to put on his seatbelt.

"Okay, let's hit." I say fasening my seat belt.

Really, her hectic driving isn't much of a problem to me. Truth is she gets a little nervous when people doubt her and that's when accidents happen.

"So, any major fights with your parents lately?" I ask, just to pass the time.

Eliza

"Okay, let's hit." Sage says, buckling himself in. As I drive out of the parking lot, and make my way to the restaurant just above the speed limit, he starts with the small talk.

"So, any major fights with your parents lately?"

"Actually, no," I tell him, smiling. "We're in a time of peace right now, but when dad looks at the car again, he'll probably be pissed. I pushed eighty this morning, burned a lot of gas."

"He probably won't be that mad. Now your mom is a different story," I add sarchasticly.

"She freaks outabout a lot of things you do. Like the time you got arrested for joy riding and it wasn't your fault. Remember? It was right when you were trying to drive your brothers to school."

Eliza

It was right when you were trying to drive your brothers to school." Sage says, and he sounds a bit sarcastic. Mom practically blew the roof when she heard about it. 'Her baby' shouldn't be driving cars that fast, ever.

"Yeah, well, she'll get over it," I tell him as we pull into the restaurant. "But now, I want to eat."

He sits their for a minuted listening to the car. I shake my head as he says, "Sorry, it's the novelty factor." I laugh at that.

When we get to school he gets out and comes around and opens the door for me, "Look, we aren't even late." He says. I get out and take his hand in mine. "With me, your never late. Cause you know what I can do to you." I say with a smile, sending a little electrical current through him.

Leo

"With me, your never late. Cause you know what I can do to you." Lor says, taking my hand in hers as she jolts me with an electric shock. Smiling, I know she's just doing it because I'm used to it, so I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her into a kiss, leaning her against the car.

Pulling away a few moments later, I grin at the look on her face. That one she wasn't expecting. "I wonder what I'd see right now if I read your mind."

He wraps his arm around my waist and takes me in a kiss, leaning me against the car. Oh, god. This feels good. Then, he pulls away.

Why did he stop? Then, he gives me a grin. "I wonder what I'd see right now if I read your mind."

I smile and bit my lip, "Well, maybe you should just take a look, and find out." I say.

We walk into the resturant that just screams fimillar to me.
There's a huge rush picking up as we're quickly ushered to a table.

There's a lot of activity happening around here. Since when does Senor Chows have so many customers?

"So, did you guys find out anything new, or you still can't find anything against Meta Chem?" I ask, looking at the menu that was just handed to us.

Leo

"Well, maybe you should just take a look, and find out." Lor says, biting her lip as she smiles. Grinning back, I kiss her again, this time reading her mind. It's easier to read the mind of someone you're in contact with.

"Well, right now you're thinking that you like it when I do this," I whisper against her cheek, kissing her again and nibbling at her bottom lip gently. We've been dating for a couple of months now, and I remember the first time I read her mind it was totally by accident, and happened after she'd shocked me. Ahh, the wonders of powers.
