“I was going to go with Alex and Liz. Is that okay with you, Alex?”

"Uh, sure. Why wouldn't it be?" I reply ... as long as you don't talk about your date.

Hm, guess I won't call Ashley on the way to the restaurant, it would feel weird when Isabel's around. Seeing Max, smiling at me - because of Liz going with me, I guess - and then leaving with Tess and Kyle behind him, I stand up too, taking Liz up with me. "Well then, lets go ladies."

I let Liz and Iz and lock the door behind me, since Maria and Michael are already outisde too but sadly, I didn't manage to lock the camera guy inside, so I guess he's with us tonight too.

Maria

Once I'm finished getting dressed I head downstairs, I'm wearing my dark blue shimmery dress that comes to just above my knees and shows off just enough cleveage without making me look trashy. Decesending the stairs I reach the other room just in time to hear Max say These three are going to be the most beautiful girls in the place,

Three girls? Hello there's four of us and although he may not have seen me yet he should already know that I look stunning, it's me how could I not? "Three?!" I ask my hand planted firmly on the hip, I think he had better make that four and as if he were reading my mind he does.

I stay silent until everyones settled their car situations, I figured Michael would be the only one wanting to go with me, though his options were open to ride with someone else. We step outside and head towards my car, I can't wait to see how surprised Liz is going to be. "You look nice," I say tossing him a sideway glance.

ALEX

As we walk to the car, I can't help but ask, "So Liz, any special birthday wishes? I don't think i've asked that yet. Like ... riding a camel, skinny dipping, ..."

"A stripper?" Isabel adds helpfully, causing me to narrow my eyes at her which - surprise, surprise - doesn't impress her as she grins back innocently. One day ... one day well, one day I will get back at her for making me admit that tiny detail of my youth.

"I don't think that strippers are her thing, Isabel. Right, Liz?" I ask the birthday girl.




*should we jump forward to the restaurant or continue with driving there?`*

KYLE

Making myself comfortable on the back seat, I smile at my two room mates. "This will be a fun night, I just know it. It will be great to see Liz' surprised face and then all the cake ..." I trail off dreamily.

"Because the cake is so important!" Tess teased.

"Well, I'm a growing boy, I have to eat." I protested. "It is a very tasty looking cake after all ... or I think that it will be, since I haven't seen it yet. Besides the party will be great so ... fun night."

TESS

"Men. All you think about is food. And of course sex, can't forget that now, can we," I say rolling my eyes.

"Well at least we're consistent, not like some people I know," Kyle fires back at me. Max is trying to stifle a snicker but he's not quite successful and I look over at him diligently keeping his eyes on the road.

I turn back to face Kyle and stick out my tongue. "Well fine, be that way...." I know, such a witty comeback (not!) but I'm not really in a witty mood so that'll have to do. A few seconds pass, and then a thought occurs to me.

"Okay, so if you're so consistent, let's play a little devil's advocate here. If you had to go without one or the other, which would it be, food or sex?"

So apparently I'm not above resorting to juvenile 'this or that' questions. I'm hungry, we're still a ways away from the restaurant, and you can't expect guys to carry on stimulating interim conversation, so we're going to see where this goes till we get there.

KYLE

That's a pretty mean question! And so unfair! I mean, it is impossible to decide ... well, almost impossible.

"What time period are we talking about? And only sex with others or ...?"

heehee. I thought we were skipping to arrival at the restaurant, but this is a lot of fun.

It's all I can do to keep my mind on the road as I drive with Tess and Kyle going at it with each other. I'm tempted to join in, but I'm not really sure if I should be on Kyle's side since he's a guy, or Tess's since she's my date. I know I don't want to be on the recieving end of this little verbal game, so I keep quiet, occassionally glancing over at the two of them as they spar.

We're nearly at the restaurant and I'm tempted to take a long loop around the block to see where this goes, but I definately can't miss Liz when she sees my surprise.


*Michael*

"You look nice," Maria says as we get in the car. I shrug. I know I always look good. I don't have to change my clothes to be hot. It's great that at least one girl here sees that.

"Yeah. You, too," I tell her. She does look really great. That shimmery blue dress keeps catching the light in all sorts of interesting ways and making me look at her constantly. Not that I mind it. She is definately easy on the eyes.

"Love the way you did you hair," I say, without even meaning to. She looks as awesome as Isabel. I mean, Maria always looks great, but Isabel is just amazing. I can't help but want to watch her. Still, I really like the way that Maria is just a little more approachable, but still firey as all hell.

I'm here I'm here hehe. And how about if we arrive at the restaurant while Tess and Kyle are still sparring, sound okay? That way we don't keep everyone up and Max won't miss his surprise for Liz.

TESS

Kyle looks kinda nervous for a second, like this was the $64,000 question or something, before responding. "What time period are we talking about? And only sex with others or ...?"

"Okay then, let me amend that. You have to eat whatever food you despise for a week straight but get to have sex with the girl of your dreams --or-- you get to eat whatever food you love for a week straight but have to refrain from touching, looking at, or doing anything related to sex, and that includes time with Kyle Jr." I say with an evil wink.

*Max*

There's the restaurant right ahead. I can see Alex pulling into the lot. I'm sure he'll hold LIz up for a moment, for us to catch up.

"Better answer quick, Kyle. We're almost there and I don't think you want to finish this conversation in front of everyone," I warn him. Inwardly, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that Tess doesn't ask me the same questions...

KYLE

"That's easy" I tell Tess triumphantly. "I'll take the great food. I mean, how can I have great sex when I'm feeling unwell because of horrible food? That's impossible."

I can survive a week without sex - I just did after all - so, great food is the logical choice, at least when we are talking about only a week.

"Oh great, we are already at the restaurant." I say quickly before Tess can even think about changing her previous question slightly. I jump out of the car before Max is completly standing and great isabel and the others.

"Ready for dinner?"
