OOC: Cool new characters
Andrew
"Yeah, it's for philosophy. We got out early cause the teacher had to go somewhere. I would've waited but I went to the gym to do some laps and then I showered and you still weren't done."
I grinned apologetically before quenching my thirst with the cool drink.
"So what do you wanna do tonight?" Brad asked, retrieving a can of soda and tabasco sauce from the fridge. Tabasco sauce- odd taste, that was true. But somehow, we both shared a liking for it- and it seemed that we'd inherited the taste for it from our dads.
I scratched my head at the question. "Actually, I'm pretty beat," I answered truthfully. "I really wouldn't mind staying in tonight."
But I was quite certain that he'd manage to talk me into doing something, going someplace with him. Without a doubt, the guy enjoyed the New York night life- it was, of course, a far cry from what we had back in Roswell; it was never that wild back home. Even if it was, we always had our parents to stop us.
Not here, though. And Brad took full advantage of it.

LILY
I grab Marie’s other arm with wicked glee and help Christina start to drag out of the school. That’s one geek down, one more to go. Hmmm, I wonder where my sister is at. She must have sneaked out of school and gone to The Crashdown. Oh well, I’ll get her later. Right now, I’ve gotta focus all my attentions on the reluctant Marie.
“I’m not taking no for a answer either so you might as well give up now.” I state with a smirk as we drag Marie towards the jet black Jeep Wrangler that my parents had bought me and Amy as an early birthday present. “I have a wardrobe full of clothes that you can borrow. Oooh, I have the hottest pair of leather pants, which would look killer on you.”
“Leather pants?” Marie asks with a uncertain look. “And where are we going?”
“To The Crashdown of course,” Christina states.
“Lily can’t drive. She only has a Provisional License, which means she can only drive the jeep with no more then one minor. Its the law.” Marie says, sounding so very much like the Sheriff. “I’ll take the bus home and maybe see you two later.”
She starts to try and walk away but I tighten my grip on her arm. “Nice try, Geek but you are coming to The Crashdown and then you are coming to that party whether you like it or not and we are going to have fun!”
I toss Christina my car keys to prevent any further protests from Marie and wait for her to climb into the back before I jump in the front. Christina starts the Jeep and the stereo comes to life, blasting Fallout Boy from the speakers.
“To The Crashdown!”

-Christina-
"Oooh, leather pants! That would be a great look for you," I said, looking back at Marie as we drove to the Crashdown. Then my favorite song came on the stereo. "I love this song!" I shouted, humming along as the jeep rumbled down the road.
Singing was one of my favorite things to do. I often did it on my own time though, because I wasn't brave enough to go up on stage and do it. Sure, I'd done karaoke a few times, and I always had like a million guys come up to me afterwards to tell me how good I was; but I just didn't have the guts to sing on stage like mom.
We drove into the Crashdown parking lot and I parked the jeep, jumping out with a smile on my face. "C'mon girls, lets go eat!"

"Um, well, uh, I guess that would be okay, if James doesn't need me to cover for him in case his dads home..." Ty trailed off.
I smiled brilliantly, thinking that this might finally be my chance to make some kind of move on Tyler. Maybe he'd start to see how much I cared about him and then--
"On second thought, that sounds like a much better idea. Dad won't flip as much with you around, Ty." James broke in, and my half-made plans fell apart before I even had a chance to finish them.
Unable to hold back the burning disappointment I felt, I allowed emotions to show as my face to fell. A second later, however, I was back in control, hoping no one missed my slip.
"Fine, whatever," I said, my tone coming out colder than I would have liked. "Just trying to help." The table went silent for a second, and I noticed Tyler take yet another peek over his shoulder. This, combined with the let down I had just received, pushed me over the edge.
"For God's sake Tyler, we know she's there! Stop gawking!" I said loudly, making half the Crashdown go quiet. Holding back my embarrassed blush, I got up in a very dignified way. Ignoring the strange looks, I turned to my best friend.
"I have to go get ready. Amy, I think I might be a little late tonight, can you let Oliver take you?" I asked. I knew that I would probably want to have a cry when I got home, so there was no way I would be able to clean myself up and be on time to pick her up. I also knew she wouldn't like me for this, but I turned my pleading eyes toward her, hoping she would be able to understand.

Back with a Lily post in a sec
TESS
"I really wanted to see you. That's why I'm home. I missed you," Marcus says before kissing me gently. I sigh into the kiss and wrap my arms a little more tightly around him. God, I love him. I never thought that it would be possible to love anyone the way I love Marcus.
“I missed you too,” I murmur when he pulls back. “I was just calling you so that I could hear your voice but this…” I pause, helping him take off his jacket before running my hands down his chest. “Is much better.”
“The kids aren’t going to be home for ages,” I state with a suggestive smile before I lean up for another kiss and savor the feel of his lips against mine.

"On second thought, that sounds like a much better idea. Dad won't flip as much with you around, Ty," James said, and I put my glass down in relief. "Sorry," I said to Laura, giving her a smile.
I glanced over at the table where Sabrina was sitting and saw that her brother Erik had joined her too. Erik was nice, I'd spoken to him a few times, and him and Sabrina seemed really close. I hadn't realized I'd been staring a bit until Laura spoke loudly, letting the whole restaurant hear what she had to say. "For God's sake Tyler, we know she's there! Stop gawking!"
I hid a blush and looked down at my glass, mumbling to James that I'd be outside waiting by the car. Quickly, I made my way outside, and leaned against the car, letting what had happened soak in. Laura had seemed really irritated, but that was no reason to take it out on me. "Whatever," I muttered under my breath, watching to door for James.

-Brad-
"I really wouldn't mind staying in tonight." I looked at him closely, and he was right; he did look tired.
"Well, you could stay in tonight..." I said, trailing off with a grin. "Or, we could go hang out at that coffehouse place; there's a band playing tonight. No heavy partying on your part," I added finishing off the soda.
I had been tired earlier, but now I was antsy. I wanted to get out, do something. I suppose it was because we had lived in a boring town like Roswell, where the fun was to be had at a rave in an old factory, or at an alien festival. Things in NY were different, and I loved it. I could keep up with my schoolwork, get good grades, and still party hard on the weekends. Andrew was a bit harder to get out though; his parent's had rubbed off on him.

ooc: here's Danni's starting post..... I'm down at my neighbors for a bit... also, Fehr's Bear is creating the fourth member of this little group, a guy named Talan, and information was gathered from her for this post.
Fehr's Bear, where the line is... I didn't want to make a choice for Talan without talking to you and I'm thinking you might have been busy, so I left it blank for now. I'll fill it in later, but once I do Lia's post you can add it in too, since I'll have her asking Talan what he wants.
bic:
~*Danni*~
I was seated in the driver's seat of my brother's Dodge Ram 350 with the extended cab. The trailer hitch held a trailer upon which my ride was being transported. I miss the feel of my hog but after nearly a week of driving from California to New Mexico, our journey was almost over. I passed the sign welcoming us to Roswell, New Mexico just a bit back. I was loathe to wake Jake who rode with me.
Lia was driving her Porsche 911 Turbo with Jake's best friend in the passenger's seat. In reality, Talan was almost like a brother to all of us. He'd known about our being different from about the same time we first realized it, we'd known him all our lives. Looking at Jake, I shot out a gentle punch into his arm and spoke, "Time to get up, bro. We're here and we've got to get settled. Here's the deal, you, Talan and Lia go take care of the room once we pull in. I'm going to get food and a local paper so we can eat while going through rentals for houses."
"Danni, I think that at least one..."
I interrupt him with a glare, "No! I want a joy ride on my bike and I'm not going to have a babysitter." I relayed the plan to Lia using telepathy. I could actually have done the same to Talan, but I didn't like making him nervous.
We pull into a hotel lot and I park, climbing out to stretch. Jake and Talan were beginning to annoy me with being so damned protective, I needed to breathe. As soon as Talan and Lia joined us, I said quickly and in a tone that brooked no discussion, "I'm taking Dinah for a ride. I'll get food, drink and a paper. You three get the rooms set for two nights, four suites."
"Don't forget the tabasco and cherry coke." Lia replies with a smile.
"I won't. I'll contact you once I find a place for food to go over what everyone wants."
I don't wait for their response since while I spoke, Jake was taking my bike from the trailer. Climbing on, I put my helmet in place and was off rather quickly, waiting only until I was out of sight before pulling over and securing the helmet to the bike instead of me. I love my Dinah, she is a 1979 Harley Chopper.
Starting back onto the road, I paid no attention to the speed limit as I drove, the wind swirling my hair about. I would never get past the freedom that I felt when on Dinah. Sighting a pizza place, I pull into the lot quickly, parking and climbing off. Entering the place I give an order before the guy behind the counter can ask what I want. "I need seven large pepperoni, sausage, extra cheese and jalopeno pizza's."
"That'll be ninety-seven fifty." He told me and I handed him a hundred dollar bill before leaving the store promising to return for the pizza's in the next fourt five minutes. At the moment, I knew that we weren't all going to want pizza so climbing back on Dinah, I peeled out of the lot and back onto the street. As I rode, I heard a siren behind me and laughed, whipping around a corner and into the lot of a resteraunt. I didn't pay attention to the name as I climbed off my bike and entered the building.
Somehow, I knew that the cruiser had been after me, but I honestly didn't care. Moving up to the counter, I looked at the menu. 'Crashdown Cafe.' I read and then began going over the contents, using telepathy to give the other three a choice. Jake asked for a Sigourney Weaver and Lia a Will Smith. I chose a Will Smith as well and Talan told Lia he wanted a _________ . I also ordered four sides of Saturn Rings and four cherry cokes. At the same time I asked the waitress where the closest grocers was.
While waiting for the order, I glanced around the cafe' at the many people within, looking for any sign of the Royal Four, though I hadn't quite decided how I'd actually approach them. I just wanted to make certain my father hadn't been lying to me, Jake and Lia.

ooc: for Brad and Andrew, if ya'll want to go ahead and have them decide to visit home you can.... or maybe someone in the group (Isabel, Alex, Max, Michael, Maria, or Liz call them... in fact, maybe I'll have Maria do that lol)

"Fine, whatever," Laura replies sounding a bit cold, "Just trying to help."
Tyler apologizes and gives her a smile before looking back towards Sabrina. "For God's sake Tyler, we know she's there! Stop gawking!" Laura announces loudly and I feel myself flinch in sympathy for Ty as he blushes. I note that Sabrina glances our way and as she seems to look at Ty, her head ducks and she looks back at her brother. 'Interesting,' I think to myself with a slight smile.
Tyler mumbles that he'll be out at the car waiting and when Laura get's up, I also move to stand. I hear her saying, "I have to go get ready. Amy, I think I might be a little late tonight, can you let Oliver take you?" But, I don't stick around to hear anymore as I walk out of the Crash, wanting to get things started as soon as possible. I see Ty leaning on my car and sigh.
I hoped that tonight he'd manage to loosen up. As I walked over and unlocked the car, I looked at him over the top, "I have a feeling that Laura is jealous of your interest in Sabrina Whitman." Before he can respond, I'm climbing into the car and turning the ignition.

~Maria~
I have about another hour before I'll land and sigh in boredome as I sit there and contemplate what to do. I hadn't heard from my oldest son in a while and would love to know how he's doing in college. That thought prompts me to pick up my phone and dial the number to where Brad and Andrew were staying. I knew they'd be starting a new semester either this week or next, but I wanted to know how they were doing. Christina and Tyler and Marie are still my youngest children, but sometimes I wish I could say Brad was still my baby.
"Maria." I hear my agent start and turn to glare at him.
"Not now. I'm checking on my oldest son." If truth be told, I was checking on both my son and my nephew and finding out whether they had any newer news about home then I did. I was surprising my husband and our youngest kids, but I had no real way of surprising my son.
ooc: phone goes, brrring brrring... lol
