~MICHAEL~

I run to where I left the phone and pick it up. "Maxwell, you have to come over quick! There's something wrong with Chris," I say, choking on my words. "You gotta help me, Max." I can't lose one of my kids.

~LIZ~

At Max's words, I start to worry. "Max, what's happening?!"

~Maria~

I could just explode on Michael. We ahve to tlak to max. We have to see if there's anything Max can do. And in the mean time I'm scared that Chris is slipping away from us. That all of this waiting is a mistake.

I turn around to see Roxie sitting on the floor next to him. And it almost breaks my heart. It reminds me of me the one time Michael got really sick at the Indian Reservation. I was worried sick, even if some of my ways of showing it were interesting. Even if we weren't really anything then.

I move over to Roxie and wrap my arm around her shoulders. She's trying to heal him. I know she is. And it's not working.

Which just proves it to me. We need to go, not wait.

~Max~
"Michael, listen to me. Don't panic. Get Chris to the hospital, now! Forget about his fear of hospitals. Just get him there. Liz and I will meet you there, okay?"

~ROXIE~

I feel Maria wrap her arms around me and it just makes me cry harder. "I can't help him, Maria!"

~LIZ~

Max's words move me to action. No matter what's happening, I grab my purse and head to the door.

~MICHAEL~

I take a deep breath. If Max is going to recommend the hospital then we might be in serious trouble. "Ok, but we're going to have to constantly watch for any possible problems." I hang up and run back to the other room. "Ok, let's get him to the hospital. Max said they'll meet us there."

ooc: okay guys tomorrow, Friday, no posting unless I say it's okay or if you need to catch up. It will be on hold till Sunday, okay? Sorry, I don't mean to sound all authoritive.

WHen Michael says that max recommended the hospital though, it amkes me panic, momentarily forgetting my anger at him, because I'm getting what I want now at least. I'm getting Chris help.

I nod, gently pulling Roxie away, so Micahel can get Chris.

"You need help?" I ask him softly. I feel absolutely helpless right now and I ahte that feeling more than anything.

I follow Liz's lead and hang up the phone. I quickly grabb the car keys and head to my car.

"We're taking my car." I tell Liz. Her car was wrecked at the moment and we needed to get there fast.
