"He's upstairs. He was just making sure you weren't gonna go anywhere...like he said...Im meant to distract you...entertain you" She says, and gets WAY too close. I mean, like insanely close to me. I back up a little bit, finding a wall behind me. Turning to the side, I make to go out the door.

"Well, then I can go see what Liz wanted with me and Maria..."

"No!" I blurt out.
I quickly go near him again. "No, Jeff told me under no certain circumstances was I allowed to let you leave the room." I said.

Michael

"No!" Courtney's outburst startles me, and I turn back before reaching the door to the restaurant.

"No, Jeff told me under no certain circumstances was I allowed to let you leave the room." She adds, her voice not as frantic as it was a moment ago.

"What is going on?" I ask, thoroughly confused.

"Nothing" I repeat. "Jeff is just coming.

"MARIA!" I growl again from upstairs.

This was it. My moment to move.
I go near him. "Your so yummy Michael. Did you know that?" I say smirking before bringing my lips to his.

Michael

"Nothing, Jeff is just coming." Courtney says, and I relax a little. If only she'd back up some more, everything would be fine.

I hear a voice yell from upstairs, but I can't quite make out what is said because of what I hear next.

"Your so yummy Michael. Did you know that?" Courtney says, before kissing me.

I put my hands on her shoulders and push her back a little angrily, wiping at my mouth with my sleeve. "Whoa, Courtney, what the hell are you doing? I have a girlfriend."

"Whoa, Courtney, what the hell are you doing? I have a girlfriend."...ok...no what do I do? Its not like I can ask the Maria upstairs.
She never explained how there is two of her but there you go.
"Michael, no one needs to know" I say before kissing him again.

Michael

"Michael, no one needs to know," Courtney says, before kissing me again. Okay, now I know that this has absolutely NOTHING to do with Jeff.

"I would know," I growl, pushing her off me for a second time as I attempt to make my way through the doors. This couldn't have come at a worse time. I mean, Maria and I are just getting to having a good relationship, and this, even that kiss, could ruin it. I need to get out of here.

*Maria*

I hear Liz's Dad yelling at me from the back room so I give her a sympathetic look. "I'll be right back. You know you Dad the slaverdriver." I tease.

Walking to the back room shock spreads across my face.

Tears roll down my cheeks quietly. "Michael." I choke.

Courtney has the love of my life pinned up against the wall in a passionate embrace. How could he do this to me?

Especially after the wonderous thing we shared last night.
I thought I was important to him. That I mattered. I was obviously very very wrong.

I don't know weither to scream at Michael or kill Courtney.
Instaed I do a very unlike Ria thing. I walk out. I can't take this.

YES! I almost whoop with delight.

I smile at Michael. "Now, where were we?" I ask as I press my self against him.

I see Maria coming out of the store room, crying.
