Liz:

I got up from his embrace..."I'm going to try and get some rest...will you stay with me until I'm asleep?" I asked him, and he nodded. We got off the floor and onto the bed...within minutes I was asleep, but right before I whispered to him. "I love you Max." I smiled silightly and fell into a deep sleep.

opening the door slightly... "Max... " I called out for him to come inside the other room.

I watched her sleep for a moment before Alex called me. I silently got off the bed and went back into the main room with Alex and Isabel. Oh and Michael by the sink, who was clearly trying to be as invisible as possible.
"What's up Alex?" I ask

We were all wondering what should the next step be? I mean do we go after nasedo--or what...we can't just stay here and no nothing..." I quickly added... "How is she by the way?" I asked.

"She's managing well considering." I say rubbing my eyes.
I sigh. "I don't know...if we go after Nasedo then if anyone survived that explosion we could get caught again...but your right. We do need to do something."
I grab my jacket and pull it on.
"I'll go look for him. You guys stay here. Michael, any problems, your in charge" I say.
Michael gave a non-comittal grunt.

"Wait Max...do you really think that's such a good idea? What if something happens to Liz... I think your right...we should just wait until tomorrow, I mean if Nasedo is alright he will make his way back here--I don't Liz could stand it if you left. She needs you now...now more than ever before...and who knows what could happend to you if you left right now. " I looked at Iz and she nodded agreeing with me.

I listen to there conversation with my back turned. Well at least they do have each other. I have no one.
Infact I shouldn't be here now...they'll only get hurt....but this is my house...I can't get them to leave....
But where will I go?
Anywhere will do I guess. I walk past them all and leave. I expect they all saw my tears, but they don't know what to say to me....and why should they. I'm a horrible person.
I start to walk down the road by head hung low.

I woke up suddenly with a jolt of seeing him again--I looked around and saw that Max wasn't there... "MAX....MAX..." I cried out...

"Max...I'm sorry...I must sound like a huge baby right now... is there anyway you could erase these images from my mind..." I almost pleaded with him...but the look in his eyes, i knew it wasn't possible. "Just hold me Max...that's all I ask of you.." I kissd his hand.
