Liz

"You live in that house. Now, you should know, your last name is Parker, and your brother's name is Michael." the stranger said to me as he take me to the house I live in and the last name I have.

I nod, I didn't know what to say, I don't feel right about any of this. Something tells me I'm in the wrong place, like I'm suppose be somewhere else, but I don't know what it is though. I look at Alex as he open the door of the Parkers.

Alex

Walking in, I see the Parkers sitting down for dinner. It's a wonder they haven't quite realized their kids aren't home, or at least that's what it seems like.

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Parker," I say politely, ushering Liz in. "Just bringing Liz home. It's getting dark out, and I didn't want her to walk home on her own."

*Maria*

"That's a good idea, moving out. You want me to come with you to get your stuff?" he offers helpfully.

Weighing my options I realize that my best bet at getting my stuff out safetly is with Michael.

Normally I would just shake it off, I'm not obssessed with material possesions or anything shallow like that, but there are a very belongings that I cherish. A picture of my birth parents and the baby blanket I was found in.

"Actually... yeah. I mean if you aren't busy or anything?" I question nervously. I don't want to put him in any unnecessary danger ,but I can't go back into that house alone.

Michael

"Actually... yeah. I mean if you aren't busy or anything?" Maria asks, looking a little skittish.

"No, I'm not busy," I say with a smile. It feels good to actually do something, and besides, it's entirely not safe for her to go back there alone.

"So, um, where do you live?"

Liz

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Parker,Just bringing Liz home. It's getting dark out, and I didn't want her to walk home on her own." Alex said as I walk in. I look up at two people that clime to be my parents.

"Oh Alex" the womenget up following by her husband. "Is everything all right?" the women said.

I look at them and at the man they called Alex. Why don't I feel it here? I just want to remember.

Alex

"Yeah, everything's fine, Liz was just out for a walk and it was getting late," I lie, smiling at them.

"We're gonna go hang out in her room, we ate dinner at the Crashdown," I add, watching as they get up.

"Come on Liz," I say, nodding up the stairs. "Let's go."

Liz

"Yeah, everything's fine, Liz was just out for a walk and it was getting late, We're gonna go hang out in her room, we ate dinner at the Crashdown, Come on Liz, Let's go." Alex said to the Parkers.

I look at Alex and then at the Parkers. "Ok Hon, if you guys need anything just let us know." the women said. I slowly begain walking up the stairs as Alex follows me.

*Maria*

"No, I'm not busy," he replies with a sweet smile. I am actually tempted to return the favor, but am unable to do so. Time and abuse has worn across my ehausted features. I don't know if I evn remember how to be happy. Slowly but surely Michael is teaching me how, but at what price to him.

"So, um, where do you live?" he asks his eye sight never leaving the rocky path I had been examining earlier.

Embarassment sinks in when I come to terms with the fact that the guy I kind of have a thing for is going to be seeing the hell hole I ahve had to reside in.

"Actually it's just a piece up this way?" I point awkwardly.

"You sure you don't want to back out? Thing could get uh... intense?" I inquire worriedly.

Alex

Once we hit the hallway, I turn to Liz. "This is your room." I point across the hall, and see some glass on the groun, that must have been from Michael. What on earth went on today? And where is Michael anyways?


Michael

"Actually it's just a piece up this way? You sure you don't want to back out? Thing could get uh... intense?" Maria says, blushing slightly as she points where she'd been looking before.

So I was right, she does live down there. Though it doesn't bother me at all, I mean, I know that's where the trailer park is, but money doesn't make a person who they are.

"No, I want to come."

Liz

"This is your room," Alex said as he pointed to which is room he was talking about. I walk in and looked around. I look to see any familiar to anything, but nothing. I didn't get a feeling, or a spark, or anything.

I walk to the bed and sit down. I look at Alex, I wasn't sure what to say.
