My fingers curled around his chocolate brown hair and I closed my eyes..."Oh Alex" I could barely think straight

I could feel my reslove weakening..."Sweetie" I gasped "we better go downstairs before things get out fo control here"

I straightened up my dress and my hair and then I smoothened Alex's hair which was kind of messed up thanks to my fingers..."I love you" I said once more before we headed back downstairs

Kyle

I saw Alex and Isabel coming back into the ball rom so I went up to them...
"Hey you two...Iszzie that Duke guy there" I said waving in Victor's direction "said he knew you,from the time you were in Switzerland."

Isabel

I immediately stiffened when Kyle asked me about Victor..."Yes I have met him a few times.I don't know him very well."

Kyle

"Oh!" I said surprised "he said you and his sister were the best of friends and that you'd visited their palace during vacations...look at him...trying to sweep Tess of her feet." I said annoyed

Isabel

"His sister and I were good friends,but we aren't anymore and even if we were doens't mean I interacted with him too much."

Kyle

"Okay Iszzie...I wasn't trying to interrogate you."

[OCC: Okay...I had to work all yesterday...so I don't think Liz has said anything else to Max yet so I'm moving on know...when the doctor sees Max okay. okay!]

Max:

"So how bad does it look doc?" I asked him as I tried to keep my eyes off Liz who was standing in the background of the room, trying to hide in the shadows but I could see her brown eyes looking directly into mine, even if all the lights were turned off. there was something about her that just glowed.

DOC:
"Count Maxwell, you have a two cracked ribs--and major bruising to you skin surrounding that area, but there than that you'll be fine. Just give it one week and you should be able to get to your normal self. But until then you are not to get out of this bed, unless necesary."

Max:

"But I have a benifit I have to attend tonight...I promised I would be there--on behalf of the Evans family name. I attend it every year--it's a tradition to the Evans household." I told him as I tried to sit up and winced and layed back down.

DOC:
"oh...you mean to the fundraising for the children's hospital wing--yes...didnt' you give 1 million dollars to the same cause last year?" he asked him.

Max:
"Yes...and that's why I have to go..." I pleaded him in a hush tone.

DOC:
"Dosen't change a thing Maxwell--the only place you are going to is in this bed. Besides. that charity gets trillions of donations every year...it dosen't matter--so you're name wont appear in the Newspaper tomorrow, what does it matter?" he told him carelessly.

Max:
"I do go for that....I promised them I would be there, I never let them down...I'm going!!" I sneard throught my teeth. I felt like hitting him, but I knew it wasn't the thing to do right now.

DOC:
"Just get plenty of rest Mr. Evans...and you'll be better in no time." He tiped his hat and was off.

Max:
Once he left the room, I looked at Liz who was still standing there looking at me, "I'm going to that benifit...I've been going every year since I was sixteen years old. I made friends with everyone at the hospital, I go down every week to visit the children, and last week I promised I would go--some of them are going to there. I never go back on my word Liz... will you help me?" I asked her. She stepped closer to me and started to say...

Amy:

"How does he look doctor?" I asked as he was ready to leave.

Doctor:

"Oh...Amy nice to see you again...you mean Count Maxell... well, you see he cracked a few ribs but other than that he's fine. Just make sure he stays in bed. " he said as he stepped outside.

Amy:

"will do doctor...thank you..." She shut the door behind her and went to go find her husband.

(OCC-Just running this by everyone,had an idea thought I'd share it.Maybe a day or two after the ball Kyle can organize like a garden luncheon thing,they can have a game called treasure hunt,the treasure being hidden somewhere in the huge lawns,teams of 2 will have to search for it with the help of clues.Let me know if you guys are game for this being put into play.POM,in view of Max's condition he can probably sit in a garden chair and watch,Kelsey can decide what she wants to do with Liz.Maybe we can introduce 1-2 of Kyl'es other friends just for this scene.)
