I swallow, glad to know thats where Liz stands... and I honestly do believe her. There's just one thing thats bothering me....

Kyle said he hadn't slept with her. Kyle lied to me.

Plus, it still sucks that my friend slept with her first. It's like being the second person to land on the moon... aka... no one cares! Plus, if Kyle lied to me, it meant Kyle lied to me for a reason. And I want to know why that is. Maybe he still has feelings for her and I need to let her go for the sake of my friendship.

Of course if thats right I will have to shoot myself.

Wait... why did I think that... I would never do that over some chick! Man I'm wigging...

I remain looking at the ground as I reply quietly, "I believe you... but Kyle told me you hadn't... hadn't done that."

While Kyle asks Tess what she wants to do I look up at Alex and smile, "Shall we stick around a while longer or do you want to go home? We can grab a pizza on the way back and watch a movie once we get back to my place."

I'm slightly surprised by Isabel's suggestion. I really thought she wanted to chat with Tess and the others. Guess I was wrong. But seriously, who am I to complain when a beautiful woman wants to be alone with me?

"What kind of movie do you have in mind? Nothing too ..." I think about how to say this best, "... emotional, right?"

Occ: Ok, we kind of need Michael/Maria posts as they are way behind. (Sorry, not trying to complain, I just don't want it to get too far ahead and people left behind.)

I grin and take Tess' hand in mine. "Ok, guys, we're going to try out the Tunnel of Fear. If you guys decide to leave, make sure you find Liz first and let her know you were here. She'll flip out if she thinks that we didn't make it after all the work she put into this place."

Turning back to Tess, I tease, "Come on, let's go finish what we started a minute ago. Sitting in the dark ought to be more fun and better atmosphere anyway."

I frown at that. "Kyle specifically told you we have never slept together? That's odd. I mean, it didn't mean anything to either of us but we've never lied about it before." Giving him a sympathetic look, I'm glad to note that he hasn't pulled his hand away from me. He hasn't exactly taken it in his either though. "I am sorry, Max, but I thought it was important for you to know."

Giving him a bit of a pouty look, I say, "Can you get past it so we can enjoy our time together?" I really want to kiss him until he forgets all about this little discussion but it's not really appropriate right now. Besides, he still was just heaving his guts a few mintues ago.

I bite my tongue slightly, feeling a slight twang of... what? Anger? Hurt... something like that because she wanted to get to the fun..

Man! Hello! I'm ALL about the fun!!!

"I... yeah I just...I need to talk to Kyle..." I say before adding quieter, "... and if he lied to me because he likes you then..."

I sigh and look away... and see the dizzying height we're at again. My stomach gives a lurch and I look down again. I flip out my phone. "I'm gonna see if I can get signal with someone down there..."

But who? I don't want to speak to Isabel or Kyle... I don't know Tess or Maria. That leaves Michael or Alex.

Hmm... now although I don't WANT to talk to Alex...maybe if I did it would stop whatever date they're having...even if its for a few seconds. Ok, its a stupid reason but...

"I'll call Alex."

I flip open my phone and dial the number and listen to it ring.

I can't help but roll my eyes at Alex's 'not too emotional' question and I let out an exaggerated sigh of annoyance.

Placing my hands on my hips I narrow my eyes and look at him, "What's wrong with emotional? Why are you men so scared of letting your emotions show huh? Just for that I get to choose a romantic movie."

I glance around, trying to check if Kyle listens before turning back to Isabel, who just looks too cute with her hands on her lips. Leaning closer, I whisper, "We don't like emotional movies because ... we could start crying and ... how macho would that be?"

I grin at Iz when I straighten up again. "How about 'A Beautiful Mind"? It is emotional but it also partly a biography about the main character, so I wouldn't mind seeing that."

Just then, my phone starts ringing. Getting it out from my pocket, I glance at the ID before rolling my eyes at Isabel. "Well, hello Mr. Evans!"

I swallow before answering, "Look at the ferris wheel." I pause a moment to allow him to do as I say. "You see how its not moving and the people who were in the bottom carriages are not there anymore... thats because they climbed out. And I'll give you a guess who the guy is right now who is waving his hand at the top." I say waving frantically. I bet I look stupid to people down there but...ah well.

"By the way.... I don't know if I told you before but... that guy doesn't like heights."
