I melted into him, barely conscious of what I was doing. All I knew was that he tasted wonderful; warm, and masculine. I kissed him for a moment more, and then my thoughts returned, and I jerked away.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!" I screeched, my breath coming out in short spurts. "That was highly inappropriate, and I just told you I hated you!" I shouted.

Still inches apart...I was breathing heavily as we pulled away...I smiled at her words, "That was highly inappropriate, and I just told you I hated you!" I still had my arm around her waist and gave her another kiss, but this time it was warm and gentle--I pulled away, " You may hate me, but I'm a long way from hating you...we should really get going"...I motion...I turn away...but then turn back to her.."oh, I'm sorry for what I said...I didn't mean for it to come out like that..." told her quietly as I held my hand out to her to assist her.

Michael had got a small fire going whilst Alex and I were playing the fool,so we all sat in front of it and dried of or to be precise Alex and Maria dried off.

Once done,I thought of exploring the place a little bit so I turned to Alex and suggested..."Come on Mr.Idle Threats,let's go and explore for a bit while we wait for the others to turn up."

"Sure okay...but don't say idle. Trust me, you won't get away next time little miss" I said smirking.

I stood up and offered her my arm once more.

I linked my arm through Alex's a little more snuggly than I needed to but at that moment I didn't think much of it.

Here was a man whose company I truly enjoyed and I felt that the feeling was mutual..."You know I think we came here once,say 6 yrs ago with Unlce Jim,if my memory serves me correctly,there is an orange grove someplace close by." I said thoughtfully

"Really?" I say. "I like oranges. Do you want to go and find it?" I ask. I noticed she was holding my arms slightly tighter than before...I think I'm in heaven.

I bet Im going red again.

"Yeah" I said eagerly.

"Anyway,lunch is still sometime away so we can walk about for a while and see if I can re-call anything."
Then I added slyly,"Actually I wanted to give Maria sometime alone with Michael as well."

"But of course spending time with you is an added bonus" I said giving his arm a squeeze.

I beam. "Well, it's nice to spend time with you too." I said. "Well...let's go find these oranges."

I looked around for the oranges and saw some tress im the distant. "Is that them?" I asked pointing.

Isabel

"Yes...yes that is the place.There is this lovely little cottage owned by the care-taker,they were a lovely couple.Maybe they'll be at home and we can go say hello.I doubt she'll remember me though." I said excitedly

We walked quickly now that we knew what direction to go in and got there in 15 minutes.The fragrance of oranges was heavy in the air,you could quite literally drink it in...

"Isn't that a lovely scent Alex?" I asked looking up breathing deeply

"Yeah, it really is great" I said smelling the orange scent...but was actually more intrested by the smell coming from Isabel. Her hair smelt amazing. I just wanted to runmy fingers through it...
Oh I soo wanted to kiss her.
But I made myself not do it.
