I wasn't sure exactly where this belonged. It could be alien abyss i'm not sure.

Anyhow, everything up to departure happened except Liz and the others didn't make it in time and the aliens left. Liz falls into a great depression and is full of self hatred that Maria and Kyle can't bring her out of. Three months later Liz ends up leaving Roswell in the middle of the night and know one knows where she is. Liz ends up in New York with Lonnie and Rath. They except her for whatever reason into their world(the reason is up to you). She is there of her own free will and willingly enters into a relationship with them both. She is no longer the Liz that everyone knew and she has a great hatred for herself and Max. Liz now looks and acts the part of the New York duo.(dress, accent, tattoos,etc..) Liz ends up having a daughter with Rath. She loves her more than anything.

7 years after the aliens left they return without Tess. It seems that Khivar was killed in an uprising just before they arrived and everything about Tess's plan was revealed right down to her involvement in Alexs death. Shes executed after she gives birth to Maxs son. When they arrive on earth they go back home. The Evans learn the truth about their children and except them for who they are. Maria and Kyle having had 7 years to come to terms with everything except them back with open arms. The aliens find out about Lizs diappearence and set out to find her. Several months later they find her in New York theres a confrontation and in the end Liz kills Rath and Lonnie so that they don't hurt the others.

Liz moves back home with her daughter and the others try to help her come back to who she used to be. Shes severly depressed and her hatred towards Max is increasing in leaps and bounds. The only good thing that she can see is the way he is with his son. They have a big blow out revealing all the reasons she hates him(his kiss with Tess in the rain, future Max, the way he treated her after the thing with Kyle, Alexs death, sleeping with Tess, etc...), she ends up losing control and almost kills Maria with her powers in the crossfire. She realizes that she'll never get over it and the only way to make the pain and anger stop is to kill herself. She leaves a note telling everyone how sorry she is and to make sure that her daughter remembers the good in her. She asks Max to raise her daughter because she knows what a good father he is.

Would like an epilogue. Would like to see Max with Lizs daughter in the future maybe her graduation. He tells her how much shes like her mother and how proud he is of her and how much he loves her. Lots of teary eyed stuff.

Anyhow that about sums it up. I actually was listening to "Because of You" by Kelly Clarkson and this idea came to mind. Just had to put it out there.

Fic without Aliens: Think Roswell Characters set in the OC.

Michael takes the Ryan role. Grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, taken in by the Evans family.

Max will be Seth, however, he will act like Max Evans - serious, studious, totally in love with Liz Parker.

Maria will be Marissa.

Liz will be Summer, but she'll be sweet, serious and studious too.

Liz Parker and Max Evans are up and coming young adults and have been best friends for years.They even share an apartment together.

One night after some heavy drinking a drunk Liz and Max stumble into Max's room and sleep with each other.When Liz wakes up the next morning she's shocked at what they have done.She and Max have NEVER even came close to this line much less crossing it.So without waking the still sleeping Max Liz gets out of bed,grabs her clothes off the floor and heads for her room.Liz spends the day wondering just what she and Max are going to say to one another when he wakes up.

But much to Liz's shock when Max wakes up they don't talk about anything! Seems that Max had the most to drink of the two and so he doesen't even remember that he and Liz slept with each other! To him it's just another normal day but with a bad hangover.

Liz doesen't know if she should be happy or hurt over the fact Max didn't recall their night of passion.But she decides it's best that he forgot and never tells him.Everything is fine until a few months later when Liz discovers she's pregnant.Max is the only person she's slept with in the time frame so she knows the baby has to be his from their night of drinking.

Max of course is shocked over Liz being pregnant.For some reason he wants to beat up whoever it was who did this too her.But over time Max is there for Liz....morning sickness,going to the doctor,mood swings...and over time Max starts to think maybe this is something he might like to do full time....being there for Liz and the baby.

But there's still the problem of Liz not having told Max that the baby she's carrying is his

No evil or bitchy Tess.....ok she can be bitchy if you want her too but she's not to be some evil Max stalking trying to hurt Liz and the baby evil bitch.....sorry but I know a dreamer will take this story and it's how they think...so no evil Tess allowed.

Around the age of eight years old Max Evans was playing a little league baseball game when he suddenly collapsed while running around the bases.He was rushed to the hospital where it was found that he had been born with a very dangerous heart abnormality that kicks in if he over exerts himself.This condition is very dangerous and will only get worse over time and more than likely come to kill him unless he has a new heart transplanted in.Only problem is Max has a very distinct genetic code that makes finding a donor very rare.So over the years his parents have treated him like a breakable doll and have secluded him to his room.They have even went as far as too take him out of school....they think school life would put too much stress on him....and his mom has home schooled him over the years.

Max knows his parents love him and all of this has been done to prolong his life but to Max his whole life has felt like nothing more than a prison sentence and his room/house is the jail cell.His parents almost never let him go outside,almost never let any of the friends he has left come over due to fear they might get him excited.Max would rather spend five last days actually living his life and having fun than another five years of being safe but stuck in this life he has now.

But all that changes when Liz Parker moves in next door.Liz is a free spirit child who lives life to the fullest.Max sees her while they move in next door.He sees Liz with all her long dark hair in the sunshine and instantly falls in love with her.He watches Liz alot from his window.Liz catches Max watching her in the window and wonders just who is the cute boy she never sees outside of the house.

The idea is that Liz and Max some how meet and she understands Max desire to LIVE his life and not spend anymore of it cooped up in his house.So she goes against his parents wishes and routinely sneaks him out of his house and takes him off to have fun.

Isabel is Max's older...by a few minutes.....twin sister.She also sees it as her duty to look after her 'little' brother.SHe also doesn't like Liz's influence over her brother.But over time both Max and Liz get Isabel to come to their side...even to the point she helps Liz and Max get out of the house and have fun.

Does Max finally find a transplant and live happily ever after with Liz or does he enjoy life to the fullest only to die happy......well that is up too you.

Years ago Michael was a very up and coming business man...think stock broker..Lawyer..that type of thing.He was happily married and in love with his wife(Courtney) and had the most adorable little daughter ever.So in fact Michael had the perfect life.

But all of that came crashing down on him one bad day.Backing out of a family event at the last second Michael instead stayed behind to do some office work while his family got into the car and left without him.Later Michael is devasted when the police come to his door to tell him his wife and daughter were killed in a car wreck.Michael is consumed in guilt not only over the fact that his family is dead but over how he was supposed to have been with them.....Michael in fact wishes he had been with them so he could have died with them instead of being in this living hell.

Unable to deal with life and the guilt Michael starts to drink...a lot.He is soon fired from his job...not that he cares about that anymore or about anything for that matter.Michael soon loses everything and is now a bum living on the street.He's only interested in being left alone,wondering where his next drink is going to come from and most of all still deep in guilt over his wife and child's death.

But all of that changes one day on the street when Michael sees a little girl.She's the spitting image of what his daughter looked like when she was alive.Michael starts to look after/shadow the little girl.Mostly because of the fact she looks like his daughter did and the fact he feels like he should protect her like he didn't do for his daughter.This act turns out to be a good stroke for Michael is able to save the little girl's life......how is up too you.

The little girl turns out to be Maria's daughter.She is over joyed over her daughter being saved.So for that reason she welcomes Michael into her home.Maria has a big house that needs work or is hard to keep up.To pay Michael back she lets him be the new handyman/grounds keeper of her place.She lets Michael stay in the small cottage she has on her land or a small back room in the house.Maria feels that she needs to do this to pay Michael back for saving her daugther's life.Many of her family and friends aren't to thrilled over this.

Maria's daugther was very shy little girl but she has now taken herself to Michael in a big way.She tags behind him everywhere talking a mile a minute.Maria is very shocked by this seeing how her daugther has never taken to anyone outside of family.Maria also is taken by how Michael never seems bothered by the little girl and how he lets her tag along with him and seems to enjoy her company.

Of course over time Maria comes to enjoy Michael's company too.

Liz and Kyle are high school sweethearts who have dated all through school.But they have hit a snag when Liz gets a scholorship to an Ivy League school on the East Coast and Kyle.never the brain,is stuck in Roswell going to a community college and/or nearby smaller university.

Now Liz ever the romantic is SURE they can make the long distance thing work for four years.But sadly we all know that almost never works out.....and it won't here either

For after sometime on the East Coast Liz's good friend and classmate Alex Whitman takes Liz to a party...or a meal...or something along those lines... to meet his new girlfriend Isabel.While there Isabel introduces Liz to her brother.....Max.Liz is shocked at how well she and Max mash and how much they have in common.Over time they run into each other a lot and start to spend time with each other.The more time they spend the more they start to grow on one another....Liz of course feels guilty about this...she has a boyfriend back home she keeps telling herself! But the more time she spends with Max the less she thinks about poor Kyle.

Poor Kyle?....yeah right.

For back home Kyle has his own problems.Seems there is a new girl in town.....Tess Harding.Short,blonde and very good looking.....and she's made it very clear that she wants Kyle! Now Kyle has tried to be a good boy....but it's been a long time since he's gotten any....uhhh I mean SEEN Liz.But as I said Tess has made no bones that she wants Kyle and she has been after him from the start.And as we all know Kyle will crack.

So the idea is that Max and Tess will go after Liz and Kyle.And both Liz and Kyle fall for them and feel guilty over it due to the fact they think the other is being faithfull and all of that.But guess their shock when everything is found out!

MUST HAVES

The main thing is this.....neither Kyle nor Tess nor Max or Liz are the bad guys here.This is just to be one of those long distance things that never work out.So no one is the bad guy in this story.

Liz Parker is a doctor at a very nice/large hospital.She is a workaholic and her job is her life.Liz is one of those people who live to work.She's always on call at the hospital and is not happy unless she's there.Liz is a caring person but when she's a work she tends to keep her distance between the patients,the nurses and all the others.This has got her a rep for being a cold fish and kind of stuck on herself.But having said all of that Liz is the top dog at the hospital.

Well that was until now Max Evans entered the picture as a new doctor at the hospital

Max Evans is not your typical doctor.He might be what one would call a maverick.He drives a motorcycle to work,he comes to work wearing blue jeans and a shirt of his favorite sports team/rock band instead of dress pants and suit.Where Liz has come off as a cold fish Max has the ability to draw people to him.He's always got a smile ready and treats everyone as an equal and a person....so the patients,nurses,orderlies,kitchen staff,cleaning staff....hell everyone just loves him.

Well everyone that is except Liz.She's none to happy about Max swooping in and taking her spot at the top of the foodchain there at the hospital.Other facts that Liz doesen't like.Liz had to work hard to put herself through med school.Worked two jobs along with a scholorship.Had to study hard every night to be on the dean's list.Max on the other hand comes from a rich family who paid his way through med school.Not to mention Max is one of those people who don't have to study to make good grade(didn't you just hate them when you were in school).

But Liz must put her dislike for Max to the side when a patient comes in....maybe a young child....who is dying from an unknown illness.Now Max and Liz must work together to save the patients life.

I have some more thoughts on this story and would be willing to share them with anyone who takes this challenge

I'd really like to bring this story to reality...so please PM me with your thoughts--and if you could think of a name for it,
that would help me out a lot. ( I have trouble thinking of names )
