Isabel~past

My mind has been in a spin for the last one hour.I can't begin to fathom what is going on around me.It's all too much to believe yet my best friend is apparently some sort of witch.Oh lord!

The fellow named Dustin seems to be growing weaker by the minute and Rosa...or is it Maria?Well whatever her name is,she looks very worried and frantic,as if she has the weight of the world on her slim shoulders.
"Isabel, um can I talk to you outside for a minute?",she asks me out of the blue

"Yes,of course Rosa." I reply and walk out of the room,stepping in to the corridoor,"What's the matter?Please tell me what's going on.This is all happening to fast Rosa and it's unbelievable."

I watch as Maria and Isabel walk outside. Im left here trembling. And Im only thinking of one thing...
Max and Tess are engaged here.
Is that what I was sent here for? To learn that Max is not meant to be with me...but instead...hes meant to be with Tess.
My heart is broken. Max and Tess. And Im meant to stand at the sidelines.

Life isnt worth living without Max. Sure...I have Maria. But how can I feel the same about Tess...now that I know there meant to be together.

I wonder if he knows yet. I wonder if he knows hes engaged to Tess. If he does... has he started thinking of Tess like that?

Oh please kill me now if he has.

I bury my head in my hands and sob.

*Maria*

"Yes,of course Rosa." She answers as she follows me outside. I thank my lucky stars that she didn't protest. Once we reach our destination she questions, "What's the matter?Please tell me what's going on.This is all happening to fast Rosa and it's unbelievable." Taking a deep breath I steady myself, "Isabel, I can't tell you everything ,because I'm afraid of the damage it will cause. I need you to trust me when I say that I am only looking out for your best interest and for the good of my family."

She's not gonna understand this but I've got to try. "You are not in love with Scott." I reveal notcing the look of shock acorss her features. "You are meant to be with Lysander. I know that if you search deep down in your heart you'll see that he's been there all along. He's the one for you Izzie." Running my hand through my hair absent mindedly I debate on how to word the next part so I don't freak her out too much.

"The fate of several lives hang in the balance. I need you to stop Scott from inadvertly destroying our future. He's gonna find out the truth and I fear he will do something to keep his brother from you." I hope this works. "That bad man in the basement that you saw me fight off is only going to get stronger and come back for all of us. I'm going to go distract him while you go be with Alex." How do I put this delicately. "You need to marry him quickly. I'm going to have Liz carry you to the nearest town where you must elope."

She's gonna think I'm nuts. "Do what feels right? I promise if you follow your heart everything will be okay."

Isabel~past

"You are not in love with Scott...You are meant to be with Lysander. I know that if you search deep down in your heart you'll see that he's been there all along. He's the one for you Izzie.",she says

I look at her in shock.How did she know about Lysander and me?Had she been eavesdropping outside the library door earlier on?Oh of course not,she couldnt' have been.She been in her bedroom with Scott and Dustin.So what does this mean?Is she psychic?

"The fate of several lives hang in the balance. I need you to stop Scott from inadvertly destroying our future. He's gonna find out the truth and I fear he will do something to keep his brother from you." and I shake my head in disbelief

Scott may be a lot of things but I can't believe that he would hurt his own brother intentionally still I listen to whatever she's saying.

"You need to marry him quickly. I'm going to have Liz carry you to the nearest town where you must elope...Do what feels right? I promise if you follow your heart everything will be okay."
She is crazy.How can she ask me to do such a thing?My father will have a heart attack if I elope and that too with my supposed fiance's brother.

"Rosa...you have gone completely insane.Okay I admit that I love Lysander,I have all along and tonight he declared his love for me and we do intend to be together but all in the proper way.I have to speak to my father and break my engagement with Scott.Although I am still wondering how you knwo about Lysander and me.Care to explain?"

*Maria*

She embelishes and I admit it was a long shot. I guess I am going to have to show them what is at stake.

"If I told you... you wouldn't believe me." I scratch my head debating the right way to go about this. "I'll just have to show you." I lick my chapped lips anxiously before replying. "Call for Lysander." I instruct she starts to open her mouth and I stop her. "No, you both have a connection. All you have to do is use it. When you are hurt or in trouble he senses it. When you need him he comes with out a word. Call to him with your heart." I reveal praying to whatever Goddess that is up threre that Isabel takes my words at face value.

Isabel~past

I look at her increduously,she must really be insane if she thinks he will be able to hear me if I just think about him and call out to him in my mind.Poor Rosa!If only I had known how much help she needed after her parents death.This must be some sort of mental instability.I am about to protest again when I see her expression and decide to pacify her by at least pretending to call him,"Lysander,I need you love.".I close my eyes and call once more,"Out in the corridor."

I open my eyes and look at her ready to tell her that I had played her foolish games long enough when...

*Lysander*

I stare at a clearly distract brunette whom I believe goes by Liz as she grieves over her unconscious friend(?) Dustin. What unusal names... I'm about to question the tiny girl when I sense an overwhelming feeling that is just to strong to ignore. Scratching my eyebrow I'm about to address the room when I hear, "Lysander,I need you love.". Looking around anxiously I seek Isabel but she seems to be absent. Where? "Out in the corridor." She seems to answer.

This is more than a little odd, but after everything I've seen today I throw caution to the wind and decide to just go for it. I find my Izzie and Rosa just where I thought and the firy redhead seems to be smug while my darling is more than a little startled. "Is everything okay?" I inquire none too pleased with their expressions. "You did ask for me?' I wasn't just imagining her voice was I?

Isabel~past

Just as I am about to drag her to the infirmary Lysander appears startling me,"Is everything okay?",he asks looking at the both of us,"You did ask for me?"

I think I am going to be sick.This is all too much to take in one day.Fire balls,witches,mental communication,the smug look on Rosa's face.Where did my simple life disappear to?

"Ye...yes I did." I say softly looking up at him "Rosa wants to tell us something or show us something."

*Maria*

Low and behold just as I predictd Lysander walks up with a increducolus look on his face. Ha Ha. I told ya. See nobody listens to the blonde. Oh yeah. I'm read headed in this lifetime. Figures. "Is everything okay?", He questions looking from Isabel to me respectively,"You did ask for me?" He inqures just as confused by the whole thing as Isabel is.
"Ye...yes I did." She admits looking up to meet his eyes. "Rosa wants to tell us something or show us something." Poor Izzie looks positively ill.

I survey her expression and then meet Lysanders. "I'm sorry. I wish there was another way." The bewildered man looks as if he's about to speak so I cut him off by grabbing his hand while at the same time catchin Isabel's. I act as sort of a concuit unit. Passing information in the form of flashes to the two young lovers who have never fully ebraced in this life. I show them all that I know of their relationship. Past. Present. Future, Last but certainly not least I reveal the consequences should they be separated this go around. I only hope that it shall be enough.

The days events wear on my tired body more than I'd care to admit. I have given up my postion as a Whitelighter. I almost lost the love of my love. Now I fear I may have anyway. Exhausted I drag myself up the stairs and attempt to find my Liz. Unfortunately I know longer can sense her. Instead I try to call for her, "Liz!" I struggle to hold myself up. "Liz! Where are you?" Please don't let it be too late.
