I walked up to the steward "Listen do me a favour will you,go tell Earl Whitman that there is a phone call for him." I slipped him a generous tip for his troubles

"There that should get him away from her for a bit" I said smirking


Isabel

We reached the stables and began looking for our second clue,under bales of hay,in the horses stalls,anywhere we could think of,finally we found it nailed to back of the main stable door...

Whoever said glass houses were of no good hadn't a clue about what we need.

"Okay a glass house,that has to be the green house." I told Alex

Just then a steward walked and told Alex that there was a phone call for him "Go ahead sweetie,I'll look aorund the glass house,when you're done I'll be waiting there for you."

"Ok" I said as I leaned forward and gave her a kiss. I walk across the garden to the house.

"Nice" I comment. "Well now Alex is alone..." I said. I smirk and walk to where I can see Alex entering the house. I follow him as quietly as I can.

Isabel

I walked into the green house and started looking around for the next clue,it was damp and a little warm in there.
The place was over-flowing with all kinds of potted plants,flowers and vines..."This is going to take forever" I said out aloud coming to a stand still


Victor

I heard her say...This is going to take forever
"Not if you have help" I said walking up to her from behind "I see he left you all alone to search for the next clue."


Isabel

I jumped when I heard his voice "Oh god Victor...you nearly gave me a heart-attack." I said turning aorund to face him
"Why have you come here?Oh wait no let me guess...to ruin my day.whatever it is you have to say I don't want to hear it." I said firmly before walking away from him to start seacrhing again


Victor

"You said you would hear me out...I expect you to keep that promise."


Isabel

"Oh really!like you kept your promises to me." I answered sarcastically without looking in his direction

I pick up the phone...
"Hello?...Hello?"
There's no one there...
What on earth is going....
"Hello Alex"
I turn to see her. Oh god!...This was a set up....Gertrude must have set this up.
"Look. Im sure you've talked to my daddy dearest, so Ive made my decision so just go away would you?"

"Now now Alex..." I say as I approach him and stroke his cheek. "You know its me you want...all our history...

"Get off of me!" I say moving her hand away. "Leave me alone Gertrude. I love Isabel. I LOVE her. So just leave us alone." I tell her as I walk away. I start to walk towards the green house.

Victor

"I really hd no choice in that Isabel" I said loudly,my temper beginning to gte the better of me


Isabel

"What the hell is that supposed to mean Victor?" I asked just as loudly "Don't try and insult my intelligence by telling me I would not understand like you did the last time...Okay you said you wanted me to hear you out,well I'm all ears."


Victor

I took a deep breath and proceeded "I had to marry her because it's been a tradition in my family to marry the daughetrs of that family.We had been bethrothed when we were babies."


Isabel

"Something you conveniently forget to tell me when we were together." I snapped back

I can hear shouting from the green house....Victor.
I run full pelt to the greenhouse. I flung open the door and go inside.
"There was no one there...I wonder who could have set that up" I said looking at him. "At first I thought Gertrude....but she can barely string a sentence together let alone come up with a plan."

Victor

Oh great,the idiot returns...I turned around "Get lost Whitman,Isabel said she's hear me out." I said calmly "I did what I needed to do in order to talk to her alone since you never leave her side."

I walked towards Isabel

"Alex it's okay." I said trying to maintain my composure

I look at her...."O..okay" I say. I turn around and leave. I walk outside and head back to the gazebo.

Isabel

"Now look what you've done you Idiot." I said angrily


Victor

I was so amused by the angry look on her face "Oh let the spoilt brat go away...I want you back and I'll do anything you ask me to,to prove to you how devoted I am to you."


Isabel

"Victor that might have worked even a few months ago but I do not love you anymore...I have found my soul-mate and nothing will take me away from him."


Victor

Her words stung me but I remained unmoved "You only think you are in love with him...what we had was real Bella." I pulled her towards me pinning her arms by her side and kissed her

I was taken by surprise so I didn't move for a few seconds,Victor might have taken that as a sign of my willingness so he tried deepening the kiss but I finally pushed him away roughly...
"Don't ever touch me again...EVER!" I shouted and ran out of the green house and to the back of the main house
