I take another dance step, looking into Isabel's eyes. "How about you? What's your favorite Icecream? And when you're done with that, what you're favorite thing to read?" My first guess would be that she reads fashion magazines, but I could be wrong ...

I nod as Alex says that there's probably nothing to be worried about, he's probably only paranoid. "Maybe, but I still think someone should get her out of there. If she's not sick or unhappy, she should be out here having some fun."
I can't help but notice the interaction between Liz and Kelsey. I wonder what they're whispering about now...

I can’t help but laugh at Michael’s logic. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who liked ice cream mainly because its purple.
"How about you? What's your favorite Ice-cream? And when you're done with that, what you're favorite thing to read?"
“My favorite ice cream is chocolate, anything to do with chocolate is pretty much heavenly and my favorite thing to read would be The Call of the Wild by Jack London.” I say and Michael looks slightly taken back. He probably thought my answer would have involved something to do with a fashion magazine or designer labels. “Hmm, I bet you weren’t expecting me to say that, were you?”

"I like Ulysses by James Joyce. It's a great book. It's not about the mythic hero, you know. It was nearly banned in the US."

James Joyce? Wow, I never pictured Michael as the type of guy who actually enjoyed reading Ulysses. I guess I’ve made a lot of wrong first impressions since entering the house. First I had Alex all wrong and now Michael.
“You should read it. Buck’s survival is inspiring. No matter what was thrown at him, he managed to beat the odds. Of course, he was a dog but that’s neither here nor there.” I say before commenting. “History is a nightmare from which I am trying to awake. I would have never of guessed that you liked Ulysses. You‘ve got hidden depth. That’s probably why Maria likes you.”

"Maria?" I ask, wondering why we're talking about her again. "I already told you that didn't work out. I must have read her wrong from the start. I don't think she ever really liked me that way," I explain.
The sad thing is, none of these girls seemed to have really turned on to me like the girls at home would have. I just can't read any of them. I thought Maria was really cute from the start, but it wasn't ever clear if she liked me or not, if we were actually dating.... I start assuming we are a couple and she shuts me out. That's definately over. Liz kept telling me how much great I was, but when I responded to that, she flipped out. I really have no interest in Tess, except as a prize. Getting her away from Evans would really make my night. I just need to know how.

“No need to get all snappy.” I state, obviously Maria is a sore subject for Michael but I really can’t help myself. She is my friend and I want to help her get over whatever problems she has. “If you ignore the Maria part of the sentence, you’ll see that I was only trying to be nice.”
The song comes to end and I step away from Michael, suddenly feeling annoyed. Not just at Michael but at all men. They are so confusing. I use to think that I understood what on with them but I don't. And to think, they say that women are more confusing then men. Pfft, whatever.

I can’t help but shift uncomfortable. I don’t know if its Michael’s comment about him being more than just a pretty face or if it’s the fact that he is asking me questions about me.

I’m your typical blonde from the upper east side.” I shrug, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear. “Maybe we should move the bar. Alex was buying me a drink when I left and I don’t want him to think that I’ve abandoned him.”

“Mostly runway although I have done a few fashion spreads in a few magazines.” I state, studying Michael from the corner of my eye. “What about you? What do you do for kicks back in…where are you from again? You know, you have excellent bone structure. Have you ever considered modeling?”
