I run down the halls and finally dive in Liz's main room, slamming the door closed behind me and leaning against it, my chest heaving for breath after the excersize. "Lizzie, are you in here?" I ask.

Oh, I hope she's in here! I don't want to have to keep this information to myself. I really need to share with someone what those guards looked like or I might just explode.

~KING JEFFREY~

I pace my study, waiting for Alex to bring those guards here to meet with me. One of my footmen brought word that they had landed. I'm anxious to meet with my future son-in-law. I wonder who it is he has brought with him.

After putting the flowers in the vase on my coffee table I stand back and admire them for a moment,smiling at the thought that Kivar was thoughtful enough to send me flowers to try and make up for our little argument earlier.
A month ago he would have hit me for talking to him the way I had.

I decide to send my mother a message via the tranceiver instead of writing a letter.Punching in the codes for Antar,I think of what to say before speaking,"Hello Mother,I know it's been very long since you last heard from me but I can say the same about you.I did send you at least ten letters over the past year but you never replied.Did you receive any?Anyway that's in the past.I hope you all are well.When is Xan getting married?I am fine as is Kivar.I love you!"

I hadn't dared to send a message for help via the tranceiver all the months ago when I was sneidng frantic letters home asking them to come take me away from Kivar and his cruelty but I have no need to be afriad now.

I'm sitting in the bathtub, relaxing and trying to calm down my nervousness. Why I'm nervous? Well, I have heard that the guards will arrive today. Closing my eyes I lean back and listen to my favourite music. Suddenly I hear the slamming of a door and then Maria calls loudly. "Lizzie, are you in here?" I sigh and open my eyes again. "In here, Maria!" I answer back.

Occ: I thought that he would be the only one to know...that Prince Xan/Max would have thought it only proper that the king know who he is. I think I put that in some of Jeff's posts but I can't remember.

~MARIA~

Liz calls out from her bathroom and I go over to the door. "Are you going to be in there much longer? The guards arrived a few minutes ago and I have the scoop!" I call out to her.

~KIVAR~

I look at the report that I am holding in my hands, trying to decide what to do with it. I have my men on every planet, trying to gather as much information about the people and rulers of this system as I can. The report I have in front of me is about a certain plant that the Reschvets grow and trade. It's well known to all the planets in the system but not this aspect of it. This information is very interesting...and maybe very useful.

Shaking my head, I put the report in my desk, lock the desk up and make my way back to Vilandra. I want to see how she liked the flowers and it's been a couple of hours now so maybe she'll want to spend some time with Ava. As I approach her door, I wonder what kind of reception I'll receive after everything that happened earlier. I knock on the door and one of the two guards looks at me a bit perplexed. Ok, so I usually don't wait for a response from Lonnie before busting in but things are changing around here. I glare at him and he quickly goes back to staring straight ahead, his expression blank once again.

OCC: okay, Beth

"The guards arrived a few minutes ago and I have the scoop!"

I have to smile over the exitment that I hear in Maria's voice. "Give me five minutes." I call back through the closed door.

More or less this time later I open the door, wrapped in my bathrobe and enter my bedroom. Maria is sitting on my bed and seems anxious (OCC: Is that okay, Beth?) I twinkle at her. "Well - tell me the scoop, girl." Then I go and open my wardrobe, studying my gowns and considering what to wear.

Occ: Um, Flamehair, everything you wrote is fine with one little exception. I'm not sure that I understand what you meant by putting that Maria seems "jerkily". Can you reword that so I get what you're talking about?

OCC: Sorry, Beth - I used the wrong word I meant anxious/bumpy

Right after eating a light mid-morning snack I decide to lie down for a bit,feeling a little tired.Barely have I closed my eyes when I hear a knock on my door.Sitting up,feeling a little disappointed that it's not Kivar because he never knocks I call out,"Come in."

~MARIA~

I come up behind Liz and push her aside, pulling out one of her red gowns. She looks awesome in red and she really shouldn outshine the guards that are coming. "You should wear this one!" I tell her. At her puzzled look, I say, "Wait til you see these two guys, Lizzie. They are just drop dead gorgeous! I certainly don't mind them being around as long as they don't cover up their faces. It'll be nice to have something so great to look at." I giggle a little. "Too bad you're engaged. I guess that just leaves both of them to me," I tease her and give her a wink.

~KIVAR~

She sounds a little tired and down when she tells me to come in. I push the door open and step inside but lean against the door after closing it. I give her a tentative smile and nod towards the flowers. "I see you got them. Do you like them?" I ask her.

I don't know why I'm acting so awkward around her all of a sudden. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I know how I used to act when things like what happened earlier happened before but now that I'm trying to change, I don't know how to act anymore.

"I see you got them. Do you like them?" he asks as he steps in to my room,looking out of place and uncomfortable
There was a time not so long ago when by now he would have punished me for raising my voice to him.

"Yes,they're beautiful." I reply and smile at him "I'm sorry for losing my temper earlier.I don't want us to fight." I pat the bed by my side beckoning to sit by me "I'm just worried about you."
