Isabel~past

A delicious shiver runs down my spine as Lydsander assures me that I am all he's ever wanted and proceeds to kiss me gently once more,"This is so amazing. I used to have dreams like this. The reality is so much sweeter." he says softly and I laugh in happiness,"I'm glad you're dreams become a reality."

But then I pull away,we can't keep standing in a dark library for the rest of the night.What if someone is looking for us right now or one of us is needed for something?As much as I want to stay here,in the privacy the darkness affords us,alone and secluded from the outside world we have to face the music,so to speak.

"Lysander,I have to go now.But we'll talk again in the morning.Till then,I'll miss you my love." I reach up and kiss his forehead and back away from him swiftly,not wanting to take my eyes off his face until I reach the door,then I turn around,open it and step in to the corridor,making my way to Rosa's room.I have to tell her all this,or else I will burst if I wait till the morning.

I left my hand to knock at her door but pause when I hear a man's voice...what is a man doing in her room?My father will kill her and him if he gets wind of this.And who is this man anyway...she hasn't mentioned anyone to me.What if this man does her harm,may be he managed to get past the guards and sneak in to her room with the intention of hurting her.Without another thought I push open the door and enter her room,"Rosa,what is going on here...are you okay?" I ask rushing in

My eyes take in the man on her bed,then move to Rosa who looks quite shocked and dazed and finally I notice someone else in the corner of the room...Scott!!!What is he doing here??

*Maria*

Just when I thought things couldn't get any awkwarder. What does the goddess think this is all rather humorous? Nobody seems to care what I want. Which in all honesty is just to restore our family line so I can go home to the man I love. If he's even still there. I try to supress those downcasting thoughts ,but it's not big of a leap to make. Deluca women are cursed, and it all comes back to here. If I can somehow free myself and my sisters from the binds of our own self inflicted obsticale then we could just go back to normal.

Well, if you call recreational demon vanquishing normal. Which it is in our household. I miss the maynor. If I could click my heels three times and say the magic phrase to return to the place I long for I would. Alas as I examine my dirty bare feet I find it impossible to think that only a day ago I was in the arms of the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, and now I'm trying to figure out if he'll even want me when he discovers the truth of who I am... Or rather who I used to be.

A rather stunned Isabel runs into my room and makes her was instinctively to me as her arms reach out as if to protect me. It pains me to see how close Izzy and I used to have been and what we are in the future. It's not that much of a stretch to say she hates me, and I can see why. I just hope I can rectify this before it is too late. Horror seems encased when Iz sees two grown men in my room ,and I'm merely in a slip. To be honest I'm not entirely up to par on the etiqutte of this time ,but I'm pretty sure it looks bad. Oh great as if my reputation needed another two guys in her bedroom story.

"Rosa,what is going on here...are you okay?" She questions with extremely worried and suspicious eyes. Well, here goes everything. "Thank Goodness, Izzy. I'm so glad your here I wanted to introduce you to my...uh..." Think. Think. Think. How can I introduce her to Dustin? She's my best friend. I wouldn't just have this close guy friend who gets to see me half naked that she's never met before. "Uh.. my Dustin." Yeah, that's lame. Over Izzy's shoulder I silently beg for Dustin to play along.

"He's my gentlemen caller." I announce much to the surprise of everyone in the room including myself. Dustin looks like he's about to die laughing ,and Isabel seems shocked to say the least, but I can't remove my eyes from Scott who looks as if he's ready to tear me apart. Uh Oh. I'm starting to have a little bit of liars remorse.

~Dustin~

"Dustin! How did you get here, and why? Is Michael okay?!" Maria suddenly asks. But I can’t say anything yet because buddy who’s name I have already forgotten is still her.

Luckily or not Isabel comes running into the room ,"Rosa, what is going on here...are you okay?" of course Isabel isn’t the same one I know in the future but they both seem nice enough anyway so It can’t be to bad of a thing right? Poor Maria looks kind of out of it when she sees Isabel though and I can’t blame her, after all we are in a different time this right now must look really bad.

"Thank Goodness, Izzy. I'm so glad your here I wanted to introduce you to my...uh..." Mari is trying to think quickly and I know I should be helping her but I’m having fun for some reason. Really wish I had popcorn! "Uh.. my Dustin." SAY WHA? Oh gods and goddess let Michael never hear of this!

She glances over Isabel’s shoulder at me. "He's my gentlemen caller." and though I don’t really know what it means I can hazard a guess. Oh haha! I have to fight to keep a straight face but I really hope these people leave soon cause I can’t hold it for long.

Isabel looks shocked and I really wished I had a camera though I don’t know how I would explain that to her. Wait do they burn witches here? Aren’t I one too? Oh great.... I notice Scott I believe his name is looking at Maria now and not in such a good way either. Ok I know she can take care of her self and probably get mad at me for playing hero but no one looks at my friend like that and gets away with it!

I smile getting up off the comfy bed and walking over behind Maria. I rap my arms around her smiling. “Yup that’s me.” oh please don’t kill me I think to my self. “Rosa and I were just going to ... catch up, I’ve been away for a while so if you two could please leave.” I eye Scott for a moment. “We can get to... catching up.”

*Maria*

Without missing a beat Dustin picks up on my oh so subtle hint and makes his way over to me with a wide grin. Isabel is shocked to say the least when he wraps his arms around my waist possessively. Thankfully Michael isn't here to see this otherwise Dustin and I would both me in hot water. I lean back into him trying to appear more convincing as a couple while Izzy gives me a nonbeliving stare. Scott appears positvely seething ,and I have to admit he scares me a little. He's all but growling and I'm afraid Iz will notice if he doesn't stop glaring at me.

“Yup that’s me.” He agreed with a sweet tone. “Rosa and I were just going to ... catch up, I’ve been away for a while so if you two could please leave.” Dustin meets Scott's angry glare dead on, and I appreciate the gesture, but he can't fight my battles for me. This is my mess, and now I'm forced to clean it up. “We can get to... catching up Wow, what an unbelievable peformance from the rookie. Smiling widely I can almost picture the award ceremonies. 'And the Oscar goes to...'

"Izzy, Dustin and I will join you and Scott in the sitting area in about 15 minutes after we are finished... reaquainting ourselves." I purposely say moxily as I turn to Dustin with a sexy smirk.

*Alex*

What the hell just happened? Isabel has left me all alone with Michael and he doesn't seem to happy. Is it because Maria is gone or is he just naturally broody. "Guerin, snap out of it!" I exclaim turning to shake him harshly by the shoulders. Somebody has got to step up here. "We have a job to do." I remind him with an understanding nod. "You need to focus on the situation at hand."

Isabel~past

I stare at Scott,standing in the corner like a stone statue.What the hell is wrong with him and most importantly what is he doing in Rosa's room?Slowly I pull my gaze away from him and return it to Rosa and the man...wait a minute isn't this the same fellow who came in along with Max an hour ago?I wait for Rosa's explanation,"Thank Goodness, Izzy. I'm so glad your here I wanted to introduce you to my...uh...Uh Dustin...He's my gentleman caller. she finishes of lamely and my eyes nearly pop out of my head

Gentleman caller!!Since when were they invited in a ladies room without a chaperone?

Then the silly man...how dare he stand so close to Rosa,we have never even heard of him steps close to her,“Yup that’s me...Rosa and I were just going to ... catch up, I’ve been away for a while so if you two could please leave...We can get to... catching up.

The audacity of this this...vagabond...ordering me about in my own home.Is he insane or what?Drawing myself up to my full height which I notice is higher than his I stare at him coldly,"Sir I think you had better leave before my father finds you in Rosa's room unattended...she is like a daughter to him and he will not have her reputation sullied."

I focus my gaze on Rosa,"Rosa have you lost your mind?" I realise I am practically shouting but this is too much "You have two men in your room,one of whom happens to be my fiance." I glance at Scott briefly before turning back to her "And credit me with a little more brains will you,I have known you my whole life and never once have you mentioned a 'Dustin'.Now what the hell is going on?" I pause briefly to catch my breath

"No wait." I order them raising one hand in the air "Both of you gentleman kindly leave...right now.I want to speak to Rosa...if that's not too much to ask of in my own home." I glare at Dustin while saying that

I wake up to find...bars. Silver bars. Holy...Im in a cage! Oh God! What am I going to do!
"HELP!" I scream out.
I hear a snigger from somewhere. I look around but whoever it is hidden from my sight.
"MAX! MARIA! TESS! HELP!" I yell out hoping someone would hear me.
I then to send them a message....but I highly doubt it would work.
"Help! Im in some prison! I was out for a walk and now...help!!!"

"HELLO? ANYONE? MAX!!" I yell out.

I smirk as I hear her screaming. Clealy no one can hear her so I use my powers to project her voice so that most of the castle can hear her.
I want to know what Maria can do. I need to know what Im up against.

*Maria*

Yeah I knew this wasn't gonna go well. Isabel looks like a hen who got her feathers ruffled. ,"Rosa have you lost your mind?" She screams none too politely. Nope, I didn't think she'd buy it, but it was worth a shot. Scott appears amused at my prediciment. Smug Bastard. I should turn him into something hideous right now and save myself the trouble. I would if I had an active power."You have two men in your room,one of whom happens to be my fiance." She scowls at the darkened man who does not seem jilted. I can say in all honesty that he was not my fault.

At least not in my timeline. This shit is confusing. Just when I think I've figured it out I get thrown for another loop. Apparently Izzy is just as confused as I am. "And credit me with a little more brains will you,I have known you my whole life and never once have you mentioned a 'Dustin'.Now what the hell is going on?" She stops waiting for a beyond brillant answer and alas I have nothing of substance to add. I'm tired of lying to my best friend. "No wait." She commands with a dominating hand outstretched in the air. What now?

"Both of you gentleman kindly leave...right now.I want to speak to Rosa...if that's not too much to ask of in my own home." She glares at poor Dustin. I swear if looks could kill he would cease to exist before he was ever techincally born. "It's okay...honey." I assure the poor guy who has now removed his hands from around my waist. "I'll be fine. Isabel would never hurt me." I mumble nodding toward the door for him to enter as he came. Drawing a deep and calming breath I start the story that will either save us or doom us all. "Isabel, there's something I have to tell you."

Sadness fills my features as I realize she will absolutely loathe me after I tell her truth. We will never again be close friends almost sisters ,and I have to admit... I enjoyed getting to know the real Iz. That's all over now. For once I tell her that Rosa was merely a backstabbing past exsistance of me all will be ruined. "I'm not who you think I am." I begin a tad reluctantly. "I..." My imprompt speech is cut off by the tortured screams of my sister.
"Maria! Help!" Shock covers my expression and fear sets in. "Liz!" I scream frantically not caring that isabel is looking at me as if I'm nuts.

Rushing up to my once friend I do not even attempt to cease trhe tears welling up and flowing down my cheeks freely. "I'm so sorry, Iz." I cry grasping her for a tight and final hug. "I've done some horrible things in my life, and I realize now that life is only measured as precious and important if you have people that you love and love you in return." Knowing I don't have much time I draw back to peer into her rather confused and startled eyes. "I regret what I did to you most of all, and I hope in our next life you can find the strength to forgive me for in this one I am too weak to ask for it."

She really isn't gonna understand this part ,but I must insure the Deluca line. Hopefully she will take my words to heart. "Scott isn't your soul mate. Alex is... and I'm regret ever trying to keep you two apart." The name Alex doesn't register in her features so I speak again. "Lysander." Recognition at last. "He loves you dearly, and would forsake all others to be with you. Take care of him. In this life and the next." I kiss her cheek soundly before rushing out the door. "Liz!" I exclaim picking up the hem of my slip as I make my way through the maze like halls.

Tearing my slip after a fall I pick myself up swearing like a sailor just home from a long voyage at sea. Feeling the anger well up inside me I stop and channel my energies to sense where her fear is coming from. The basement. "I'm coming Liz!" I assure her as I make my way down the spiraling staricase that leads me to my destination. The very face of evil meets me at the bottum. "Sebastion," I growl pissed at his arrival. "Fancy seeing you here."

"Sebastion, Fancy seeing you here." I look at her stunned. How the hell does she know who I am? This was not the plan...

"How do you know who I am?" I hiss at her. "Your playing my game....not the other way around Rosa"

I begin to circle her. "But you have no idea what your up against girl..."
I smile cunnigly at her. "Now lets see if you can get there in time..."

I hurl out a ball of fire directly at my captee.

As I see Maria enter I quickly try to cover my face. I cant let her see me...not like this!

I try to use my powers to releadse my self from the chains...but I cant. I must have hardly any powers in this life.

And then I watch in terror as the fire ball hurtles towards me.

*Maria*

"How do you know who I am?" He growls clearly pissed that I have the upper hand. "You're playing my game....not the other way around Rosa" Oh he thinks I'm Rosa. Well he's got another thing coming. I've had years more experience then she did, and I know how to harness my powers. Unlike her. Besides she was alone. I am apart of the all powerful 'Charmed Ones' Speaking of my significantly other quarters where the hell is Tess? He begins to circle me much like a vulture does it's prey but I remain strong never flinching under his intense gaze.

"But you have no idea what your up against girl..." He assures me which causes me to roll my eyes in aggravation. Haven't I heard this all before. He smiles evily before retorting, "Now lets see if you can get there in time..." He throws a fire ball at my helpless sister and upon instinct I fling myself in front of her taking the hit. It feels as if a thousand flames are enveloping my body. The heat is the most painful part but the fire dies out quickly making me only feel like I'm half dead. Wabbling to my feet I stand defiantly,

"Well, I'm not gonna lie. That hurt like a bitch." I try to snicker but humor seems about impossible with all the suffering I'm in.
"I have to say I'm a tad disappointed. Hundreds of years and your still using the same old tired dialogue. Seriously, don't you ever get bored listening to yourself speak." I quip adding a slight cough because of the smoke in my chest. "Why don't you go ahead and tell me what you want so I can refuse ,and get to the fighting, because thats the fun part." I reply with a smart ass tone as I make my way to my sister's cage. "Liz are you all right?"

She doesn't look herself. Which is to be expected, but I didn't expect her to look so... uh... unattractive. I'm not used to seeing my sister appear so beaten. Usually she's the one taking care of me. Assuring me that everything's gonna be okay. I guess right now I have to be strong for both of us. 'Tess!' I call in my mind but I doubt she'll hear me. 'We need you'

Isabel~past

I wait impatiently while Scott and Dustin...what kind of name is 'Dustin'?... leave the room without saying much.Scott doesn't even look at me.I am so glad that I am going to end things with him.Some husband he would have made.Lysander saved me from an awful marriage.I will have to thank him properly when the time is right.I am about to smile at that thought but I force myself to focus on Rosa.

Her face takes on a really sad expression and I am worried all of a sudden after being perplexed and annoyed only moments ago,"Isabel, there's something I have to tell you.",and she pauses to take a deep breath as if to steady her nerves..."I'm not who you think I am...Liz.",she suddenly screams and I step back in shock.There are tears streaming down her face all of a sudden.

What is going here?"Rosa...Rosa tell me what's wrong?" I ask frantically as she graps my arms and hugs me tightly,"I'm so sorry, Iz...I've done some horrible things in my life, and I realize now that life is only measured as precious and important if you have people that you love and love you in return.".I am so confused right now...did I miss something?Or have I gone mad and the rest of the world is sane?

And Alex...he is Lysander or Lysander is him...what does she mean in this life and the next?How can know about another life?There are so questions I want to ask her.Like why she is asking for my forgiveness?Why is she talking about another lifetime?How she knows about Lysander being my soul-mate?Who is Alex?But before I can ask anything she screams out again,"Liz."

She runs out of the room,like the hounds of hell are on her heels.Now who is Liz?This has been one strange day but I decide to follow her,at a distance making sure not to make a sound and I find myself descending the stairs to the dungeons,where I hear Rosa's voice,"Sebastion...Fancy seeing you here." and another man's voice,apparently this Sebastian's,"How do you know who I am?...Your playing my game....not the other way around Rosa..."But you have no idea what your up against girl...".

I descend the steps cautiously and get a shock when I catch sight of both of them,"Now lets see if you can get there in time..." and the man throws a...a ball of fire at a girl in a cage whom I hadn't noticed till now.Instinctively I scream,"Rosa watch out.",in admiration I watch as she throws herself in front of the cage,protecting the girl.I can't believe what I am seeing.Surely my eyes are deceiving me.I step down on a step in a daze.
