Chapter 34

Max entered the room to find Zan fully asleep but no Liz. On further inspection he noticed that the curtains were fluttering a bit near the kitchenette.

Pushing them aside he found Liz outside on a tiny balcony smoking. “It’s a home away from home.” She said, putting out the butt in the can she was holding. Placing it on the ground she entered back in the room.

“I noticed this when I was poking around. The view is beautiful.” She said.

Max smiled at her. “How long have you been up?”

Liz looked at the clock. “Oh, about three and a half hours. Where have you been?”

Max noticed she was fidgety. “I took the twins to be tested and then mom insisted on taking them out for lunch. There’s a restaurant about a block and a half from here with a park behind it. They insisted on going to play.”

Liz nodded, a frown on her face. “What’s the matter?” Max asked.

She glanced up surprised. “Oh, I’m just not used to spending this much time away from the twins. I haven’t seen them since last night…” She trailed off with a blush.

Max nodded, “Understandable” he said. “How long has Zan been asleep?”

Liz frowned. “About forty five minuets but its been fitful. He woke up long enough for me to give him a bath and to get him to eat a little, but he threw it back up.”

Max sighed. “That’s not unusual. Lately he has a hard time keeping anything down.”

Liz flopped on the couch. “He kept dinner down last night.”

Max watched her; she couldn’t seem to keep still. “Why don’t you go meet up with the twins? I’ll stay here with Zan.” Liz gave him a big smile before grabbing her jacket and heading out the door, pausing to give him a kiss on the cheek before she could think about it.

She found them just where Max said she would. Diane was sitting on a bench not far away watching as Teddy pushed his sister on the swing.

Pausing she watched them as they chattered amongst themselves, Maxie’s long hair streaming behind her as she pumped her legs.

As she walked up behind them she placed her hands over Teddy’s eyes. “Guess who?” She asked softly in his ear.

“Mommy!” He shouted spinning around. Liz gave him a bright smile before picking him up for a hug only to be knocked down by Maxie whose swing had returned.

Liz laughed at Maxie shrieked. “Sorry! Sorry, I didn’t see you!”

“Humph!” Liz grunted when Maxie jumped on the pile.

“I thought you were never going to wake up Mommy. We’ve been awake forever. Daddy took us to see the doctor and they stole our blood. It really hurt.” Maxie babbled. “Teddy didn’t cry even though I did and daddy said it was Ok to cry, that it helped take away the pain.”

Liz smiled at her daughter, “Did it help?”

Maxie thought about it for a second. “A little bit but then daddy gave me a hug and that made it feel all better.”

Liz nodded, “Yeah, daddy’s hugs do that.”

Diane approached just in time to hear her comment and she couldn’t help the smile on her face when she noticed the wistful look on the younger woman’s face.

“Good morning Liz, or should I say good afternoon?” Liz smiled, “Thank you so much for looking after them”

Diane nodded her head, “It wasn’t a problem Liz.”

“Can we go to the zoo now? Teddy asked hopefully.

Liz frowned. They were supposed to go to the zoo with Zan, and the small boy had been really excited about it. Then she got an idea.

“I have an idea. Since Zan can’t join us why don’t we do something better. We’ll bring the zoo to him.”
The twins looked at her oddly, “How are we going to do that?” Teddy asked.

Liz looked at Diane. “Why I think that’s a great idea!”

Liz smiled. “So who wants to go shopping?”

Teddy groaned, causing Liz to laugh.

Maxie on the other hand, like any typical little girl shouted with happiness.

“Oh come on Teddy, it’ll make Zany happy!” She coached her brother. Teddy thought about it for a second before nodding. He wouldn’t admit it out loud but the little boy was growing on him. Plus it was nice having someone else that the adults could fuss over.

“Ok” He mumbled.

“Alright!” Diane agreed with a clap of her hands. “We’ll take my car.”

Liz followed Diane to her car, a child on either side of her.

I know I promised days ago... but things have been busy, really busy... please forgive me!!!

Ch 35

Max wore a confused expression on his face when he turned to find Liz and his mother tip toeing into the room weighed down with bags.

Liz gave him a smile, indicating with a jerk of her head that he should come help her. Walking toward her he noticed that she was unloading supplies onto the table.

“What’s all this?” He asked.

“Liz figured if Zan can’t go to the zoo then the zoo should come to him. We bought some animal movies and supplies for an art project, oh and a book or two. We also have another gift but Liz thought it would be better to leave it in the car until we find out if we can bring it up.” His mother answered.

“Oh and what’s that?” he asked amused.

Liz blushed a bright red. “I couldn’t resist Max, it was just so cute and I thought he would really cheer Zan up. Plus the twins begged…I just couldn’t say no.”

Diane laughed. “She really didn’t put up much of a fight. I think she wanted it just as much as the twins.”

Max raised an eyebrow. “You didn’t get him a puppy did you?”

Liz laughed, “He’s hardly that much work. He’s a Chinchilla.”

Max frowned. “You got him a rodent. I hate rodents. They are unhygienic”

Liz gasped. “Zipper is not a rodent!”

Max laughed. “You’ve already named it?”

Liz shrugged, “The twins did. Max you should have seen him. He’s just a baby and he was huddled in the corner of his cage and he looked so miserable. When the twins went to go hold him he just zipped right into their arms.”

Then she smiled, “Don’t worry, I think you’ll love him. He’s to cute to resist.”

“I wouldn’t bet on it.” Max grumbled.

Diane smiled to herself, listening to their light flirting. It was cute, and their banter was so much like the old days. It warmed her heart to see the spark come back to her son’s eyes.

Liz laughed softly before bounding out of the room to go charm the nurses into letting her bring the animal up even if was for a little while.

“Dada.” Zan’s voice reached his ears, spinning around he noticed his son was sitting up in the bed rubbing his eyes with a fist.

“Hey buddy, how ya doing?” Zan yawned as an answer.

“I wnts ta go home.” Zan said, his large eyes luminous with tears.

Max sighed, sitting beside him. “I know buddy, but you have to stay here for now so that the doctors can make you better. You want to get better don’t you?”

Zan nodded, climbing into Max’s lap. He stuck his thumb in his mouth.

“Wers Izzie?” He asked.

“She went to go get the twins and a surprised for you.”

Zan’s eyes widened. “A durpise?” he asked. Max nodded. “Since we couldn’t go to the zoo today she thought it would be fun to play here. Would you like that?”

He watched as Zan thought about it. “Matsy ads Weddy de hews?” He asked. Max nodded, “Yup, they’re right outside. Would you like to go see them?”

When Zan nodded Max helped him down onto the floor. He made a note to himself to head back to the house and pick up some on Zan’s things. He knew that Zan’s recovery would be two weeks alone and they hadn’t even talked to the doctor about scheduling the surgery yet.

Pushing the IV stand beside him Max led Zan out of the room. Nodding to the nurses as they passed they made their way to where Maxie and Teddy were playing.

Zan smiled when he saw his siblings and letting go of his dad’s hand made his way over.

A few minuets later a nurse came over to check Zan’s vitals before asking Max what he would want for dinner. Zan said he wasn’t hungry and Max didn’t push, knowing that Liz would whip everyone up something and could couch Zan into eating.

Someone from the kitchen came up with large trays of jello and Max, with a raised eyebrow he watched as Diane directed them to Zan’s room.

When Liz arrived, Zan’s delighted shout brought other kids and their families out of their rooms. Zipper sat contently in one child’s arms for a little bit before; true to his name, zipped to another one.

Of the half a dozen kids there, only two weren’t feeling well enough to sit in the circle the other kids formed. Simply sitting on the side lines watching, but it seemed to be enough.

Max looked over to where Liz stood beside him and his heart swelled with love. She was amazing. Wrapping an arm around her shoulders and tucking her into his side, he sighed. Marveling at how something so small could bring such happy smiles to the kids around him.

Chapter 36

When it looked like Zipper had had enough, Liz picked him up and set him back into the travel case she had bought him. It would be enough until they found out if Zipper was staying.

The kids groaned in dismay before heading in different directions. The parents smiled their thanks and soon it was just them again.

Isabel showed up, a bright smile on her face. Max asked her where she had gone.

“Oh you know, here and there. Stopped by the police station, no charges.” She replied and Max smiled with relief.

“I have finger jello.” Liz told the kids. Maxie and Teddy’s eyes light up and they headed for the room. Liz picked up Zan and followed, leaving Isabel and Max to bring up the rear.

Diane had left to go join up with her husband, promising to see them the next day. Diane let Max know that Phillip wanted to talk to him, and he promised to call.

Isabel and Max sat on the couch watching as Liz settled the kids at the table. Pulling out animal shaped cookie cutters, she set each child up with a tray. Giving them each a container to put their pieces of art in. Each had one of the child’s name on it, so there would be no arguments on whose was whose.

With Zan in her lap she asked him which animal was which and told stories about where and how they lived. Helping him to cut the thick jello into animal shapes.

When that was finished, she didn’t have to ask Zan if he wanted to eat any, he gobbled up four in a row before stating he was thirsty.

She then sat the children up in the ‘sitting area’ and put a nature movie on, giving each of them a cup. Max watched as she then went back and cleaned up, before reheating the take out she had gotten at a restaurant earlier in the day.

There was a large container of chicken soup, with thick noodles and large chunks of meat and veggies. Along with baked chicken dinners for the adults, which included salad and wheat buns. A dish of mixed fresh fruit, which she set in the middle of the table, a large spoon sticking out of it.

Setting the table with disposable dish wear, she then filled a carafe with water and ice and placed it along side the fruit.

Her timing was impeccable, for just as she was placing the now piping hot food on the table, the movie ended. Telling the kids to go wash their hands she hoisted Zan onto her lap, Maxie on Max’s and Teddy received his own chair.

They finished their meals, and Liz didn’t even ask, she simply picked up a spoon and fed Zan the soup and fresh fruit. He didn’t finish all of it but enough to satisfy Liz that he had eaten something and she prayed that he would be able to keep it down.

Isabel cleaned up the food as Max and Liz worked side-by-side cleaning up the kids. Just as they were sitting down to read some stories Zan’s doctor walked into the room.

Max went to go talk to him leaving Liz on the couch with the twins on either side of her and Zan on her lap.

“So I hear there was some excitement today, the nurses were talking about how cute the little critter is. I was also told that you were wondering if you could keep him here.” He said.

Max nodded his head. “Yeah, Liz thought that Zipper would cheer Zan up. He’s been asking to go home. It surprised me also when all those kids showed up.” He said.

The doctor nodded. “Yeah, I was told. The thing is Max is with Zan having to go through this, I don’t think it’s a good idea for him to have the animal in the room with him.”

Max face fell a bit, he figured that would be the answer, but he had been hoping. “Tell you what Mr. Evans. I’ll make an exception for the simple reason that ‘Zipper’ cheered so many kids up today. I’ll type up a memo for the other doctors and nurses. Why don’t you set up his cage in the common area? Stick a note to it with his name and who owns him so that the other parents don’t let their kids take him out. Does that work for you?”

Max nodded with a big smile. He knew it would comfort Zan knowing his new friend could stick around.

“Good, and while I’m here I thought I would let you know that we’ll have those results back late tomorrow morning at the earliest.” Zan doctor said. Max nodded thanking him again.

Zan was sleeping again when Max rejoined the group, Isabel was once again reading in the chair and Liz was softly reading to the twins. Glancing at the clock Max noticed it was close to six.

Tucking Zan into bed, it was decided that Liz would head back to the house with the twins, leaving Max with Zan at the hospital. Liz would come back in the morning, leaving Isabel with kids.

Isabel headed to the car with the kids while Liz set up Zippers cage in the common room. Placing the little animal in the wired cage and filling his food and water dish she smiled when he immediately began checking out his surroundings. Pinning a note to the top of the cage she headed back to Zan’s room.

Max was standing at the window and Liz went to go stand beside him. “I want to thank you for what you did today.” Max spoke.

Liz turned her body toward his. “It was nothing. It’s always a pleasure being able to bring a smile to a child’s face.”

Max turned to face her; “I’ll see you tomorrow then.” Liz nodded her head, reaching up to give him a hug. Pulling back a little, Liz stood on tiptoes and placed a gentle kiss on his lips.

“Good night Max.” She whispered, turning to go.

She didn’t get two steps before she was being spun around and Max’s mouth was on hers. Hot desire flared though her body when she felt him swipe her mouth and she opened for him, her hands gripping his hair.

She groaned at the taste of him. It was just as heady as she remembered, and she knew she was done fighting, one taste and she was once again addicted to him.

His arms tightened around her, and Liz pulled back when she felt a part of him that showed her just how much he wanted her. Her breath coming in harsh pants, she was dazed when he released her. His voice was husky when he wished her a good night.

Turning she nearly floated to the car.

Hey everyone, I am so sorry that it's been such a long time. No I haven't forgotten about this story but I've started a new job and it's taking all of my time. But I love it!

Anyway, here's parts 37 and 38

Part 37

Liz entered the room at seven thirty the next morning, a soft smile on her face at what she found. Setting the duffel bags she carried on the floor by the couch she stared at Max. He was still wearing the cloths from the day before. His long lashes resting against his cheek, his hair sticking up in a ruffled appearance. But what got Liz’s blood rushing was the dark stubble, giving him an undeniable sex appeal.

She started the coffee and as she waited for it to brew she went to talk to the nurses. After getting an update about how things went the night before she figured Max would sleep for a bit more. Checking on Zipper she headed back to the room.

She unpacked the bags, placing Zan’s favorite blue elephant and his blanket by him she then went and placed the flowers she had bought on the kitchen table.

Unwrapping some family photo’s she placed them near the couch and put the cloths she had brought for Zan in the built in dresser. She then placed the things she brought Max on the chair.

Noticing Max had begun to shift into wakefulness she went and poured two cups of coffee, making Max’s the way he drank it out of years of practice.

So deep in thought about the kiss from last night, she jumped when Max’s arms came around her from behind.

Max pushed her thick hair to one side, placing a sweet kiss on her neck. She picked up the two cups and turned in his arms. Max’s mouth immediately on hers for a deep good morning kiss.

Liz moaned lightly when be broke it, resting his forehead against hers. Trapped between his hard body and the counter behind her Liz felt her temperature rise slightly.

Taking a deep breath she whispered good morning to him before handing him his coffee. He thanked her as he stepped back.

Together they went and sat, sipping the hot brew and Liz hide a smile behind her cup when he groaned in delight. Max had always loved coffee, drinking it all day when it was available.

Setting the cup down, he shifted his body to face her more fully. His dark eyes still drowsy, he noticed all the personal touches and raised an eyebrow. Liz blushed, clearing her throat, “I hope you don’t mind my impertinence but I took the liberty of stopping by the main house on the way here. I asked the housekeeper to pack some things for you and Zan. The nanny thought he’d like certain stuff. I also brought you clean cloths and your um… ‘Personals’.” Her blush deepening until it felt like her whole face was on fire.

Max rubbed a hand across his chin, chuckling. “I could use a shave and a shower, care to join me?” He teased, wiggling his eyebrows.

His comment caused Liz to still and he noticed the change immediately.

Cursing to himself he raised a hand, “I’m sorry Liz. That was out of line.”

She shook her head with a deep sigh, “No… its, it’s fine I just…” She trailed off. “Max, what ever problems you and Tess are having, your still married and I can’t… no I won’t be ‘that other women’.”

Max frowned, for a second, he had forgotten about Tess and once again cursed the day she ever walked into his life, followed by crashing guilt. He’s couldn’t regret Zan, he loved his son.

Max nodded, standing he went and rinsed out his cup and placed it in the small sink. He heard Liz behind him as he leaned him hands on the counter.
“Just because I won’t now doesn’t mean you have to lose hope for the future Max. I forgive you, and I love you with all my heart but I can’t be intimate with you while your still married to another women. Please understand that.” Liz whispered.

Max turned and pulled her into his arms. “I understand Liz and I can’t tell you how sorry I am for ever hurting you, there are so many things I regret but more then anything I regret that you got hurt in the process.”

She nodded her head against his shoulder. “Does this mean I can hug you when ever I need to?” He asked.

Her smile was brilliant when she pulled back to look up into his face. “Don’t forget the kisses, I think I’m going to need a lot of those also.” She said, her eyes twinkling.

He smirked, “Oh you mean like this?” he gave her a small peck and laughed when she pouted. “Ohhh, you mean like this.” He said, giving her a hot kiss that left her clinging to him, her legs like jello. “Yeah, just like that.” She mumbled.

Stepping back from him, she shooed him into the bathroom, with a wink, telling him to keep some of the stubble.

Chapter 38

When Max emerged from the bathroom, Zan was awake, sitting up in bed. A delighted grin on his face at having his favorite friend, “Mr. Piggy” with him, he was telling Liz all about Mr. Piggy’s likes and dislikes and Max chuckled when she asked why his name was Mr. Piggy when it was an elephant.

“Don’t go there or he’ll never stop.” He warned, placing a kiss on his son’s forehead. “Cans Zan see Mr. Swipper?” Zan asked.

Max nodded, “After you eat something, then I thought you might want to get dressed and go outside for a little bit. There’s a small courtyard.” He said. Thinking that soon enough he wouldn’t have a choice about staying inside.

He thought about it for a second before asking, “Cans Is has a stake?”

Max cocked an eyebrow. “Sure you can have a shake kiddo, I’ll make you a special shake. Did I tell you that my parents own a restaurant called the Crashdown?” Liz said, lifting him to the floor after detaching his IV.

“Wiwwy?” Zan stated, his eyes wide. “Yup, it has a big spaceship out from, and when you go inside there are aliens all over the walls.” She said, sitting him at the table before rooting around to see if she had all the ingredients.

“This one is called an ‘alien blast’.” She said, pouring it into a cup with a straw.

Max was amazed that there were even the supplies she needed. But then again it was his mother that had stocked the small kitchen. Between her and Isabel, he was sure they were set for a year.

She set a cup in front of Max and he had to smile. “Ice cream for breakfast?” He asked.

Liz shrugged her shoulders. “I stopped by the nurses station this morning, they said he didn’t keep down his dinner. I figured, ‘what the hell’, what kid can’t keep down ice cream?”

Max chuckled as he watched Liz with Zan. It was amazing to him. She had every right to resent the little boy, but the way she was with him, it was awe-inspiring.

After dressing Zan in clean cloths and his tennis shoes they headed out. Liz grabbing some change and the dirty clothes before heading out, “I saw a commercial laundry room on the first floor, I thought I would throw these in there and pick them up on the way back up.”

Max nodded and letting the nurses know where they were going, head out.

Liz told Max that she would meet them out there before heading to the laundry room. As she was coming out she heard, “Get out of my way!” Snarled to her left.

Lifting her head she saw a petite blond headed for the elevators and frowned wondering what Tess was doing there. Max had filled her in about the conversation with his father.

When she caught up with Max she had to smile at the pair. “Max!” She called. “Didn’t you tell me that your dad got a retraining order on Tess?”

Max nodded with a frown. “Well I just saw her when I was coming out of the laundry room, she was headed for the elevators. You did tell the nurses she wasn’t allowed right?”

Max shook his head, “I didn’t think she had the gull to show up. Can you stay here with Zan, I’ll go see what’s going on.”

Liz nodded her head, taking the little boys hand. “Max” she called as he walked away; he turned. “Stop by security just in case.” He nodded before heading inside.

She smiled down at Zan who looked up at her, sucking his thumb. They walked around the little courtyard, Liz pointing out the different flowers and bugs but she could see that he wasn’t really paying attention.

Leading him to the middle of the grass she laid down on her back, pulling him down with her. She pointed out the different shapes she saw and pretty soon whatever was on his mind was forgotten as he pointed out his own, giggling when she couldn’t quite see it.

Forty-five minuets later Zan had grown quite and Liz wondered if he had fallen asleep again, however when she glanced down she noticed he was staring into space, a pensive expression on his face.

“Hey kiddo, what’s the matter?” She asked. He shook his little head, sticking his thumb back in his mouth.

“I can’t help if you don’t talk to me.” She told him. He looked at her, “Where’s mama?” he whispered and Liz eyes widened. According to Max, the little boy never asked for Tess.

“Um…” She really didn’t know how to answer that. “I think you should ask your daddy Zan. He knows more then I do.”

Zan shook his head, “Dada no like wen Zans acts.”

“Why do you say that?” She questioned him. He shrugged his shoulders, and she didn’t’ know what to tell him.

“How about this, I’ll ask your daddy and then I’ll tell you what he says Ok.” When he nodded his head slowly she sighed.

It was such a hard situation. How did you tell a little boy that his mother was a psycho who couldn’t be trusted around him, and that most likely he would never see her again if his father had anything to say about it?

But even worse, how did you tell him that if he wanted, she’d be the mother he asked for.

So, I know it's been a long time since I've updated, and I whole heartedly thank those who have stood by this story, if a little impatiently. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I'm at my best friends house, getting ready for her wedding and since she has hard copies of all of my writing I thought I would update while I had the chance. I hope you all like part 39...

Ch 39

Max stepped off the elevator, immediately followed by a security guard. Tess was standing at the nurses’ station, her foot tapping on the floor impatiently.

“What are you doing here Tess?” He asked, stopping behind her. She spun around quickly, rolling her eyes when she saw who was with him.

“What am I doing here? I came to see my son, but no one around here will help me!” The last part she said with a raised voice, indicating the nurse who had just arrived.

Max grabbed her arm, dragging her to Zan’s room, nodding to the security guard who stood outside on the ready. He had filled them in on the fact that his wife was here against court orders.

Turning to face her he saw that she was looking around. “Where’s Zan?” She asked sitting on the couch.

He folded his arms across his chest and didn’t answer.

Tess sighed, “Look Max, I apologize for the other night, I had to much to drink and I agree that things got out of hand. I was jealous Ok.”

Max knew that she wasn’t being serious and didn’t mean it. Before he could speak though she continued.

“I know that you would never agree to a retraining order and I can’t see you going through with the divorce. So I’ve come to make an agreement with you. I’ll get some help, we can work on our relationship and I’ll even tell you were the ring is Ok.”

Max shook his head in disgust. “What you did the other night was unforgivable Tess. You knocked your son out, you may not have touched him but the point is your actions caused him to be rushed to the hospital. Not only that, you attacked the mother of my children.”

Tess sneered, “You were in bed with her Max!”

He raised his hand cutting her off, “Sleeping Tess, we were sleeping! The point is that I’ve been dealing with this for long enough; I don’t want to do it anymore. I’m not happy, I’ve never been happy. As for the ring, forget about it, my dad already found it and retrieved it, and as soon as our divorce goes though it’s going on Liz’s finger where it belongs!”

Tess paled at the news then flushed an angry red. “If you think for one moment that I am allowing you to take Zan and raise him with that bitch you have another thing coming. I won’t stand for it.”

Max advanced on her, backing her into the wall. “I don’t think you have a choice here Tess. In the few days that Liz has been around Zan, she’s been more of a mother to him then you ever have been. If he survives the next couple of weeks, and he pulls through this he will become Liz’s in every way but blood. Do you understand me? I would love to see you take any of this to court Tess; I will drag you through the mud so bad no one will touch you with a ten-foot poll. I will ruin you Tess. All of your society friends? You can kiss them goodbye.”

Tears welled in Tess’s eyes. “Sign the papers Tess and do yourself a favor, forget about us. I never want you to see Zan again, you may not love him but I know for a fact that you would not hesitate to use him against me and I am not going to give you the chance.”

“I won’t sign them Max, I’ll get my own lawyer and fight you tooth and nail. If this is going to happen Max, then I will walk away with what’s mine and that includes the house.” She snarled.

“Think again Tess, you’re locked out and part of the prenuptial was that if you cheated you got nothing. I have plenty of witnesses to testify to that. Did you know that I don’t even need your signature to go through with this? That was part of it also, as for Zan all I have to do is go to a judge, hand in the police report and wow, I have full custody. You won’t even be entered into the equation.”

“You can’t do this to me!” She shrieked, shoving him hard, raking her nails down his face.

The commotion brought the security guard rushing into the room. Max held up a hand to stop him, “This can go two ways Tess. You can walk away now, and leave us alone or I can have this nice gentlemen escort you downstairs and he’ll call the police. There will be no bailing yourself out if you’re arrested for breaking a court order. It’s your choice.”

Tess stood her ground. “I am not leaving until I see Zan.”

Max shook his head in exasperation, “You have got to be stupid Tess. He’s with Liz right now, and I am not allowing him to see you! He doesn’t care anyway, he never asks for you, not that I blame him. All you do is yell at him.”

Max knew he was baiting her, waiting for her to give him a reason to have her arrested. But it felt good to fight back after all that she had put him though.

Just as he knew what his words out cause, she came at him fast. With a shriek she launched herself at him. However the security guard intercepted her, twisting her arms around her back and cuffing her.

Max shrugged his shoulders in an ‘I told you so’ type of way, following them out. When he got to the nurses station he pointed at her. “She’s not allowed here, if you see her, call security.”
