Isabel gets a crazy grin on her face, and then asks the question I figured she would. "Okay I know this is cliched and very hollywood...but do you have any kind of powers?"
Grinning myself, I tell her. "Well, we can all change the molecular shape of stuff, and Liz can blast things, Michael can heal stuff, and I can dreamwalk." Personally, I think dreamwalking is the best of the three, but in Michael's case, his power helped him save his now-girlfriend's life. So he might beg to differ.

Blast,heal and dreamwalk...that all sounds so cool.I mean being a girl I would love to be able ot blast every stupid lecherous creep who leers at me...heheh...nice thought.
Of course Michael can heal,should have known that's how Maria so miraculously survived being shot.I knew there was more to that than met the eye.
Dreamwalk...hmm.

"Well," I start out, grinning. "It means I can literally walk into people's dreams if I go to sleep touching or looking at a picture of them. And as for molecular shape, watch this." I take the little dog statue on her desk and place my hand on it, focusing. Slowly, it seems to melt, and then I reform it so the dog is sitting instead of standing. Nothing special.

"I feel better now then I've ever felt in my entire life." Maria says, kissing me gently as she whispers a thank you. Then she scoots around, gazing straight up into my eyes. I gaze back, and all I can think is how beautiful her eyes are. Man, I am so falling for this girl.
"Ever since you put your hands on me in the crashdown." She starts, blushing when she realizes her mistake. "What I meant to say... was since you saved me my life has changed. In the best way possible. I know I have you to thank. Not just for bringing me back, but for being there for me." Taking my hand, she squeezes it comfortingly, and continues. "You were the first person I ever told my secret, and it means alot that you trust me with yours. If there's anything I can do. To help you in anyway. Just let me know."
"You're welcome," I say gently, smiling. "But I need to thank you for sticking around after I healed you...because..." I pause, thinking about what I'm going to say next.
"I think I really like you, Maria." My voice comes out low, probably to avoid her from hearing me, but I know she did by the look on her face. She looks like she's about to say something, so I stop her, kissing her again.

My heart beats a little faster as I wait for him to reply.
"No," I say honestly, smiling. "But I've thought about it. Always thought it would freak you out since you didn't know." he says with a smile
I let out a breath I had been holding in...thank goodness.If he had it would have been very embarrassing.
"Well...now that I do know and now that you are my boyfriend,you're welcome to drop in anytime." I tell him and beckon him to come sit by me

Isabel sits on the window, and it looks like she's been holding her breath, waiting for me to answer. She lets out an almost-sigh, and replies. "Well...now that I do know and now that you are my boyfriend,you're welcome to drop in anytime."
"I might end up taking you up on that," I tell her with a grin, sitting next to her on the windowsill.
"Alex...I am honoured to know your secret,be part of it.I always knew you were a special guy but now I know why." Isabel adds, and I look at her, still smiling.
"While were at it, any secrets I should know about you Iz?"

I look at him for a second,wondering whether he had actually stepped in to one of my dreams about him but I push that notion aside.If he said he hasn't then I believe him.
"Umm...no,not really.Nothing as life changing as yours." I reply
I would be mad to tell him of the few dreams of him that I have had on occasion that border on the erotic.That's way too embarrassing a confession for now,may be later on in our relationship when we are more comfortable with each other as a couple.
I can't suppress a yawn and I cover my mouth,"Sorry about that...it's been a long day.I think we should turn in for the night or we're going to look like a couple of zombies tomorrow." I look at my watch "Err...correction we'll look like zombies today."
