"But joining the game mid-way might be unfair so let's just sit this one out and as soon as the next one starts we'll join in.How does that sound?"

"Sure." I easily agree, briefly glancing towards the game room. "How often is Liz having these parties?"

"How often is Liz having these parties?"
"Umm,every two months I guess.I haven't been keeping count.I've been to so many that they've all sort of merged in to each other."

Turning,so that I can get a better lookk at him,I ask,"I hope you aren't afraid of heights? Because tomorrow I want to ride the ferris wheel at the carnival."

"I hope you aren't afraid of heights? Because tomorrow I want to ride the ferris wheel at the carnival."

"That sounds like you wouldn't have mercy on me if I were." I laugh, "but... don't worry, I'm not afraid of heights. ... I really don't like spiders but heights I can do."

Looking to where our hands are joined, I ask, "Why don't you tell me something about yourself? I don't know that much of you yet."

~~~~~MAX~~~~~
Damn! She's out! Already!!! I was kinda hoping she would kiss me! But nooo.....
I sigh inwardly as I keep going round until the music stops, getting ready to make sure I lose this round purposely. When the music stops I 'rush' to a chair that I'm clearly not going to get rather than the empty one near me. And I end up in a busty blondes lap. She looks very happy. I wriggle my eyebrows at her before giving a kiss. Nothing too long.... but not as short as Liz's. Well I want Liz to know that I'm quite prepared to go elsewhere.
As I stand up she quickly puts her card in my pocket and winks at me. I smile at her before crossing over to Liz. "Sorry I've completely forgotten what you were saying" I say trying my best not to smirk.
"Why don't you tell me something about yourself? I don't know that much of you yet."
I squeeze his hand and smile,"Okay...let me think of something." I pause and then continue,"All the thugs in school used to be weary of me." I can't help but grin at the look of surpise on his face
"In college I used to volunteer at an animal shelter and I had a great time doing that.It was upsetting at times but worth my time.Max was my hero,I tried copying him as weird as that sounds.I was seventeen the first time I kissed a boy.And..."
I stop there,not knowing what else to tell him,"That's all I can think at the spur of the moment.What about you...when did you have your first kiss?"
I smile when Isabel says that Max was her hero. I guess they really got along well when growing which is probably why Isabel is so pissed off with Max. Seems like he really screwed up without wanting to.
"That's all I can think at the spur of the moment.What about you...when did you have your first kiss?"
"When I was 1z also, Melanie Schneider. I met her when I was spending three months as an exchange student in Austria." I state immediately, still remembering the whole thing. "I guess I appeared more mysterious and less geeky in Austria and ... I guess she was my first girlfriend. Well, we were only going out for three weeks but ... I guess that counts."
So I guess that's one thing in common between us.
"I guess I appeared more mysterious and less geeky in Austria and ... I guess she was my first girlfriend. Well, we were only going out for three weeks but ... I guess that counts."
Three weeks...aww!!
"Alex have you heard the saying-'Still waters run deep'?" I raise an eyebrow "Well it's generally the so called geeky boys who know how to treat girls properly.It's just that they are too blind and immature to realise that in high school."
"Alex have you heard the saying-'Still waters run deep'?"
"Of course." I reply, a bit confused what Isabel might mean.
"Well it's generally the so called geeky boys who know how to treat girls properly.It's just that they are too blind and immature to realise that in high school."
"Aha." I grin at her, "So, are you calling me a 'still water' and ... did you date any geeks in high school, Ms. Evans?"
He grins at me and asks,"So, are you calling me a 'still water' and ... did you date any geeks in high school, Ms. Evans?"
I swat his thigh lightly,"Stop fishing for compliments Whitman.I'm scared that you'll start floating soon with that inflated ego." I chuckle at my joke
"Did I date any geeks in school?" I repeat his question and pretend to ponder over it before answering "Unfortunately I was one among those blind girls.I was friends with my lab partner who was this really cute science geek but he was too shy and to my immense shame,worried about what people would say if I dated him.I was seeing someone anyway."
I look down as I say that thinking that he'll label me as shallow.
"Too late, I already started floating when you called me sexy." I joke.
"Unfortunately I was one among those blind girls.I was friends with my lab partner who was this really cute science geek but he was too shy and to my immense shame,worried about what people would say if I dated him.I was seeing someone anyway."
"Ah yes, high school hierachy - the different groups shall not mix. But ... science geeks are overrated anyway." I muse aloud, "The band geeks are the cooler ones for sure. They got groupies and all. Or so I've been told, I never met groupies but ... I'd like to think that they exist."
