I offer *Max* a smile, he seems either a bit shy or really cautious. I suppose it is the later. I then turn my attention back to *Michael* (I wonder if those are their real names).

"Both of us have been personal bodyguards to Prince Xan since he came of age.When can we meet King Jeffery?"

"You can meet him immediately or you can first look at your rooms - whichever you prefer. The King is expecting you but he'd understand if you want to put your stuff somewhere first."

I swallow and quickly say, "We would like to meet the King first if we may" I say politely, trying not to sound too authorative. "A king should always come first, above our own comfort. Besides, we wish to be honoured by his presence" I say, the words feeling very foreign in my mouth.

"Alright, lets go then." I say with a smile at the second bodyguard. Nodding at one of our soldiers, we follow him quietly inside the castle. I suppose I should tell them now who I am, after all I can't imagine them being happy if they don't know it when we meet my father.

"It will only be a few minutes till we reach my father's office." I tell them, thinking this is better than *hey, by the way, I'm actually the crown prince*.

I watch as Alex leads the two down the hall to meet with Uncle Jeff. Wow. I was hoping they would be nice to look at but I'm happy to say that they are absolutely perfect representatives of the male species. The dark haired one is gorgeous but not really my type. I like the one who is taking the lead...not afraid of meeting his destiny. Hmmm. Wonder what he'll think when we meet up.

I wait for them to disappear around the corner before moving cautiously down to the end of the hall and heading the opposite direction so as not to get caught spying. I've gotta tell Liz that if those two are good reps of what the Antarians look like, her hubby-to-be is going to be a god!

I watch as Ava and Vilandra come towards me and I feel this tingle go down my spine, making me shiver a little. As quickly as it happens, it's gone, however and I don't dwell on it. I smile at them and hold out my arms to my sister. "Ava, my sister, you are looking well! The climate and your life on Valentia must agree with you."

I wonder how well she gets along with King Kyle. He seemed like an amiable sort of man but I had plans for her. I am torn now. I try not to dwell on it because I know that I'm trying to change...I promised after all...but that desire for power is there and somewhere in the back of my mind, I can't entirely let my plans go. Well, I will feel out my sister and think on it. A thought occurs to me that if King Kyle treats my sister badly or tries to do something to her, it could gain her more sympathy if she had to kill him to defend herself.

I shake my head mentally. NO! I am not that person anymore! I want Ava to be happy in her marriage!

OOC-Sib,Beth posted for Maria and Maria is on her way to look for Liz,to tell them about the good looking guards
And,this is just my thinking,I doubt Liz would be present at the meeting between the guards and the King,considering she's the Princess.
They'd probably meet her later after King Jeff has spoken to them.

OCC: opps - In this case I misinterpreted Marias posting I thought she'll tell Liz about the part of the goodlooking man when she sees her the next time. I'm deleting my posting in this case, if possible.

I am shocked when Ava throws her arms around me and hugs me. I can't remember her ever doing that...she's always been too afraid of me. I don't really know how to feel about it but her words cause me to feel shame at my thoughts earlier about doing something to her husband. She's happy. Who am I to take that away from her?

I smile at her and, taking Lonnie's hand in mine, say, "I am happy....thanks to my wife. Lonnie and I have spent a wonderful couple of days together, haven't we, my pet?" I look at her and can't help but smile adoringly at her. She's the reason I'm trying to change...and she's worth it.

I don't think I have ever seen Tess really show any real affection towards Kivar so I think my face mirrors the look of shock on my husband's. "I am happy....thanks to my wife. Lonnie and I have spent a wonderful couple of days together, haven't we, my pet?" he says and gives my hand a quick squueze

I know I am blushing and smile happily at him,"Yes we have.Let's go to your rooms Tess,I have set everything up there for you." As we walk down the corridor to where she'll be staying I ask about Kyle "How's that romantic stud of a husband of yours?" I ask with a wink,she's told me all about Kyle's prowess in the bedroom,afterall the Valentians are supposed to be experts in the art of love

I cannot help my jealousy at Lonnie's words. So she thinks King Kyle is a "stud" does she? I feel like grabbing her in my arms and kissing her until she can think of nothing at all...nothing except me and us and our life together. My headache suddenly returns full force and I almost gasp at the intensity as I walk along behind them. Tess' answering blush and smile and her words do not help as I realize that she's not just happy, she's in love with her husband. Oh, Ava, have I taught you nothing?! A sharp pain strikes me and I do gasp at that one. But I quickly put on a smile as they turn back to look at me.
