"I'm fine, don't worry, I'm a big guy after all." I reply with a smile, straightening up to my full height, making a silly show of making myself look all big and manly.

"Guess we both have to start paying more attention where we are going since this is now the second time we crashed together." I say, thinking back a few days where Isabel's elbow introduced itself to my stomach. "Well, if you want some food you better hurry up. I ... I guess I'll see you later."“It was probably my fault. I flush with embarrassment when I remember the last time that we bumped to each other and all the mean things that I said. God, I was such a bitch and ugh, I cannot believe how ditzy I had gone whenever I was around Jake.

I nod although breakfast is the last thing on my mind. “I’ll speak to you later then.”

"Alright, bon appetit." I say with a grin and turn to leave but stop again. "I guess it is only fair to warn you - when I left, they started discussing who's going to do the washing later on so ... don't hurry too much or you might have to do that."

I briefly contemplate whether I should say something else or if it might be too early to ask but ... who knows when we are going to be alone again.

Please say yes, I don't want to lose this friendship because of Kyle's big mouth.

Kind of. The whole family spent the first couple of months talking about names and giving my aunt ideas. In the end she decided that she wanted to call the baby George whether it was a boy or a girl. George was one of my favorite names. You wanna see a photo of him? Hee! I seem to be saying that a lot lately.

“Of course,” I say with no hesitation. No matter what happens I want Alex and I to be friends. He has become one of my closest friends in the house and I don’t want to throw that away. “I hope that we can always be friends, Alex. Once I’ve sorted out my head, things will go back to normal.”

I hope. I don’t think that I could stand to live in this house if things didn’t go back to normal between me and Alex.

Thank God! I would have hated it if she didn't want to spend time with me anymore or is worried that I'd jump here any moment.

Normal? As in 'Good old Alex, the girlfriend' normal? Oh well, like I said, being only her friend is better than nothing. Not that I'd complain if we'd become more but ... you get where I'm going.

This is George on Sunday when he was just a couple of hours old. Its not a great photo but you can tell that he is a baby and that he is cute, lol. You can’t tell from the photo since he has a hat on but he has a mop of black hair. I fell in love with him the moment I saw him and fell even deeper the first time I held him in my arms. I could gush for hours about how beautiful he is but I won’t. LOL.

So, back on topic.

I chew my bottom lip as he speaks. I can understand where he is coming from. He probably thinks that I am trying to cut him out of my life and that I am using the distance thing as an excuse.

This is the most stupid thing ever but I'm feeling kind of annoyed that Kyle didn't bother to stop eating when telling Isabel about my feelings.

"Yeah, I understand." I reply with a nod. "And I'm sorry that I was bothering you with that again after promising that I wouldn't pressure you or anything."

Running a hand through my hair, I realize that I haven't shaved yet. Hmmm...

"Okay, one last thing before I let you go have breakfast and I myself take a shower ... do you think I could skip shaving today? I'm wondering if the three day beard thing ... the bad boy look, if you want, would work for me or if the clean cut nice guy look is the better option."

Jake didn't look like he shaved everyday and Isabel seemed to like that so ... who knows if that might help me.

I can't believe England's out again ... against Portugal again ... again with penalties ... oh Ruby, I so wished that you guys would win the world cup

well, ... since I can't have England in the final, or America vs. Iran, I'm hoping for Italy vs. Brazil, with the Selecao winning of course

Oh my God, I know. I'm so depressed. I cannot believe it happened again. I want to cry but its too damn hot. Stupid football. Stupid Portugal. Not even the thought of all the players showering together is making me feel better. Sigh.
