Maria,Maria,Maria...taunts a voice in my head...she's always going to get between you both

I push him away gently and go and stand by the window

Walking up behind her I wrap my arms around her bring her closer to me. Bending down slightly I whisper "I'm sorry."

This is what the third time I have had to say sorry in just two days. But do I mean it when I say it? Am I really sorry I still have feelings for Maria? Somewhat yes because I love Isabel and I don't want to hurt her. But then again no because Maria is and always will be a part of me and without that part I am nothing.

Not sure if I could keep a steady voice I open up our connection and communicate with him silently
Do you really love me...because I cannot share you with someone else.I know she was your first but you have to make up your mind.

Of course i love you...and I meant when I said I am not leaving again. I have already made my choice.

Hearing his answer I relax and lean back against him,turning my head aside slightly I seek his lips,needing to feel reassured of his love

Pulling away before the kiss can progress I say "But I can't keep it from them long...they're my family."

Irritation flares up in me but I suppress it not wanting to fight with him on what should be a special night for us...doubly so

Stepping out of his embrace I go sit in front of the mirror and comb my hair "I never said we'd keep it from them for long...just a few days perhaps."

"A few days is ok but no longer than a week."

"Fine" I agree with a nod of the head and get into bed

I climb into the side of the bed she is not occupying and close my eyes.
