"I'm done," I say, getting up from the table. I look at Tess, because looking at Liz is way too hard.

"What do you guys want to do today?" I ask.

KYLE

Max is done, why am I not surprised since he is the one who wants me to do the dishes. Probably wants to make sure I'm really doing it. Guess he really isn't happy about me telling Isabel about Alex. Not that it was my fault! Oh well, *I* am not finished with eating yet. And neither is Tess.

"You want another pancake, Tess?" I ask when I notice that she's almost finished with her current one.

"What do you guys want to do today?" Max asks at the same time. I wonder whom Tess will answer first.

btw, anyone having suggestions about what to do when breakfast is over? jumping ahead a few hours/weeks/months or continuing the day?

No idea about how far or if to jump ahead ... except maybe not 'months' This is only for the summer, lol. That'll bring us all the way to the end of the show.

ah, so the whole experience is just for ... three, four months?

I got the impression it was for ten weeks -- of which they've been there one week already. I'm not sure where I got that idea. Maybe I'm wrong. But I thought it was just for the summer season.

Anybody else with a different impression or better information?

I knew I was forgetting something! But yes, I think that it lasts about four monthsish. And I was waiting for an Izzy post, but I think that I'll try to post something for Liz.

I'm just assuming that Isabel is somewhere between the rooms and the kitchen


ALEX

Leaving the group behind, I can hear them start discussing who's going to do the dishes. I'm very glad that I managed to weasel myself out of this. Yawning slightly, I briefly contemplate going back to bed again but then think better of it. Would be a waste of a day off if I sleep the whole time.

Turning to the stairs - not really looking where I'm going - I bump against someone on the fourth step. Luckily, both me and ... Isabel of all people, are managing to keep from falling down the stairs.

"Sorry about that. I wasn't really looking where I'm going." I apologize ruefully, hoping that she isn't hurt, angry or annoyed. "There should still be some pancakes left if you are quick, along with lots of whipped cream and strawberries, Isabel."

Uh oh, using the words Isabel+strawberries+whipped cream in one sentence is something that I shouldn't be doing anymore judging from the images my dirty brain comes up with.

Sorry that I didn't post sooner. My Aunt had a baby at the weekend so I've been a little bit busy.

ISABEL

Walking down the stairs, I am more then a little surprised when I collide with Alex of all people. I had been so focused on trying not to think about him that I hadn’t been paying attention to where I was going.

"Sorry about that. I wasn't really looking where I'm going." Alex says, "There should still be some pancakes left if you are quick, along with lots of whipped cream and strawberries, Isabel."

“It was probably my fault. I wasn’t paying attention. Sorry. Sorry. Did I hurt you? Are you okay?” I ask, feeling so stupid.

I wish that things could go back to normal between us. Stupid Kyle and his stupid big mouth. He has ruined everything.
