"Max I'll give you a hand" she says coming over.

"I'm sorry....we had big fight then we start actually listening to me and he wanted to meet you..." she whispers.

"Just be yourself, you don't have to put on pretend face for me. I love no matter what."

"Well enjoy it whilst it last because you may only have minutes left to love me th way this is going!" I hiss back as I pour three glasses of water.

*Liz*

"Well enjoy it whilst it last because you may only have minutes left to love me th way this is going!" Max said pouring some water.

" What's that suppose to mean?" I ask in a whisper as I across my arms.

Michael

I watch as Liz follows Max in the kitchen. Boy, the look on his face when he realized he'd mentioned beer was priceless. I know I shouldn't be enjoying this, but I really am.

"I'll take a water please," I call to the kitchen, then take a seat on the couch, making myself comfortable.

" What's that suppose to mean?" she says crossing her arms.
"Well lets see" I hiss. "Michael - man with alien powers" I say holding out one hand.
"Max - human guy who has slept with said Michael's sister, knows hes an alien, offers him beer when hes under age and is generally screwing up." I say holding out the other.
I then pretend my hands are weighing scales. "Hmm....do you see a problem here?" I hiss.
"I'll take a water please,"
I grab the three waters and carry them over to the coffee table. I put them down on three mats...thereby not having to actually hand it over to Michael.
I sit down on the armchair that to be honest is as close to the door as I can, but is a reasonable distance away from Michael.

*Liz*

"Well lets see" I hiss. "Michael - man with alien powers Max - human guy who has slept with said Michael's sister, knows hes an alien, offers him beer when hes under age and is generally screwing up. Hmm....do you see a problem here?" he said.

"Max there nothing be afraid of, now that Michael here." hearing Michael call out for a water. "He doesn't know about that and I don't think you tell him. Just relax, he won't hurt you..." I said.

I see Max walk out with the tray and follow him, I sit next to Michael.

Michael

I watch as Max brings in three glasses of water, and places them on the table, sitting as far away from me as possible while Liz takes a seat next to me.

"So Max, exactly how long have you known my sister?" I ask innocently, waiting for his answer.

"So Max, exactly how long have you known my sister?"

I take a sip of my water before answering.

"Erm, the end of last summer" I say truthfully...he probably has some sort of truth ray after all....

*Liz*

Michael ask Max how long he has known me and Max answers. I know he is scary, and Michael is enjoying this. "Michael stop scarying him." I said finally.

I went get my water, hmmm where the tabcoo sauce?

*Maria*

After we finish eating I tell Tess that there sre some things I need to take care of. She nods understanding and I exit the Crash. Walking around the streets of Roswell I let my thoughts wander. So much has happened in the past couple of days. My eyes scan the vacant sidewalk as I search the streets for something I didn't know was lost. My resistance.

Michael

"Michael stop scarying him." Liz says, and I give her a look like I had no idea I was.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Where are my manners?" I say quietly, smiling again.

Instead of further questioning him, I just take a sip of my water and sit there silently.
