Liz suddenly stops the elevator and gets out, electing to walk up four flights instead. The cameraman looks out and decides against following with his 30 pound camera on his shoulder.
Was it something I said?
Did I say that out-loud?
Yeah, I guess I did. But why would she leave that way? It was just Alex's drunken rambling, right? So she doesn't like his stupid nick-name. What's the big deal? I thought it was actually pretty funny. Maxie-max? Lizzy-beth? You have to laugh.
I sigh and watch the doors to open on five. When I get out, I realise that Liz is probably in the stairway right now, climbing past. I could intercept her, but I can't imagine why. I didn't do anything wrong.
Instead, I go back to my drawing table and get started on my projects. I'm finally into the fun part!

She said yes! I hope I don't look like too much of a fool, as I smile through the rest of the afternoon. I hardly even think about the practice broadcasts we're doing, and Dave comments on how relaxed I seem to be on the air.
Well, yeah. It's easy to relax when it's not real. And when I'm actually having fun.
I'm also pleased that my face doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. It's still a little sore, and I can actually feel it when I'm smiling like this, but I can't stop. I'm really looking forward to this evening.
Hopefully, Tess won't mind that I don't have a plan for the night yet. I'm sure we can come up with something together.

Max, Maria, and I do our practicing for the on-air show tomorrow. It's a lot of fun, and I'm not nervous now. But what about then? Not that it'ts much of a concern for me at the moment. It's just so exciting that Max finally asked me out! And he has the same happy smile on his face that I have on mine, so he seems to be just as excited.
Maria seems to notice our smiles, but chooses not to say anything about it. Thinking ahead to tonight, I wonder what we'll end up doing. It doesn't matter to me if there's no plan. Anything that involves spending time with Max is bound to be fun!

I watch as Max and Tess come back up here, they seem exceptionally happy they are smiling they're lives away.
I shrug it off oh well let them be happy I guess I'm a little curious I admit that as to why they're so happy but I ain't gonna ask them cause frankly that's they're own business.
I have to go to that dinner with everyone, I mean its cool but I am not staying in tonight I am gonna go partying at a real club with Lilly, Lilly just doesn't know it yet and if she has plans she'll canceal em like she always does. I wonder if anyone wants to go with us, I doubt it everyone acts like they don't want to go out but I do.
Old habits die hard I guess, I'm so used to partying every night, not really drinking every night or anything but just going out and dancing kicking it ya know?
I sit back, I can't wait till tomorrow this is gonna be so much fun being on air I've never really thought my self to be the type to be on air but I guess you can't judge yourself.

I can't believe Sandy didn't like my additions to the banner! They totally ROCKED, I tell you. But no, she wants it to be plain. "Easy to read" she says. 'you can't crowd the logo.' "Boring," I say. In the end, I think I convinced her to keep them, but she says she's going to run it by the station manager, for his approval. I have to roll my eyes at the suggestion. I hope he knows something about art.
At least she didn't mind my creative renditions on the other signs. Those were kinda fun to make. At least the time went quickly.
Soon, it's time to get washed up, because the day is just about over. I head over towards the elevators to go downstairs and meet everyone for dinner. Well, everyone except Alex. He's gonna work late.
I'm wondering about Candy again. Wishing I had her phone number. I heave a mental sigh, and push the button to summon the elevator.

Is anyone still playing this RP? It was one of my favorites. I hate to see it back on the second page!

The afternoon goes really well, and soon Tess, Maria and I are bidding Dave good-bye as we head out to join the rest of our housemates.
"Do you want to join us?" I ask. He'd had a lot to say about which restaurant to visit. Maybe he'd like to come.
"Oh. No, thanks," He says. "I already have plans."
I nod. "Okay. We'll see you tomorrow, then."
He gives us a thumbs up, and then gathers up his own things. Maria and Tess wave briefly and then we head for the elevator. When we get down to the lobby, Michael is already waiting.
"Hi girls," he says, apparently ignoring me. Maria and Tess return his greeting with smiles.
"Been waiting long?" I ask.
"Nah," he says, and turns away. "How was your afternoon, Maria?" he asks.

I shake my head to clear my thoughts, this day has been just one huge disappointment, nothings going as planned, Its like a big rollercoaster.. I wonder if I should have even come on this show, it seems like I'm out of place you know? But I guess it's normal it's only our 1st day really being here so I'm sure our first impressions aren't going to be right...
"How was your afternoon Maria?" I hear Michael ask and I look at him and shrug.
"I don't know.."I say honestly.

Working in the office makes you very hungry as I soon found out. I sighed and wondered if everyone else was still here. I turned off the computer and decided to turn in for the day. My friends back home would probably never believe this. I slowly walked down to the frount entry and spotted the guys.
"Hey gang I was hoping you hadn't left. How was your days?"

"I don't know..." Maria says as I ask her how her day went. Well, that's not much of a conversation starter. She's really kinda cute, even if she is a little nuts in that she's still looking at Max, not me.
"What do you mean, you don't know? You're going to be our radio star. You should be having a blast," I tell her.
Maria finally looks at me, nodding slowly. "Yeah, I'm kinda nervous about that, but it should be fun."
I grin at her. "Good."
"How about you?" she asks, after a moment.
"Oh, um. Not as good as I'd hoped, but I think it'll be okay." I tell her, shaking my head in disbelief. They want me to be creative, and then complain when I am. I hope this station manager likes what I did.
Then Alex comes down, "Hey gang, I was hoping you hadn't left. How was your days?" he asks.
"I thought you were working late, tonight." I say.
Alex nods. "I got hungry. You guys are going for Mexican, right?"
"Yeah, sure. As soon as everyone gets here," I say.

Alex comes down next and causually asks how our day went. I find myself turning away, looking for someone-else to talk to. I guess that shouldn't be too surprising, but I'm usually not one for holding a grudge. Still, the guy hit me in the face for no reason. I mean, I hardly even know him, but I thought we were going to be friends. I was even trying to help get him and Liz together. And then this morning...
My eye falls on Tess, and I smile. At least that seems to be a bright spot. She's going out with me, after dinner. Tess smiles back.
Then the elevator doors open again, and Kyle steps out. "Hey, guys," He says. "Everyone ready to go?"
I look around, realizing that we're still short a few housemates.
"We're still waiting on Liz and Isabel," Tess says.
"Maybe we should go up and see what's keeping them," I suggest. "Does anyone know where they're working?"
"Uh, Liz is on seven," Michael says. "I think Isabel is, too."
"Okay, I'll go up and see if I can find them. Don't leave without me."
"I'll come with you," Tess volunteers.
"Okay," I shrug. "Anybody else?"

Tess and Kyle come up with me to look for Isabel and Liz, while Alex and Michael stay in the lobby in case we miss them. We find Isabel's office first. Her new boss tells us that she left a few minutes ago. "She's probably still in the ladies' room."
"I'll go find her," Tess volunteers.
Kyle and I continue down the way to find Liz. She's still at her desk with a pile of papers on the right and a phone at her ear.
Kyle taps her on the shoulder. Liz nearly jumps out of her skin.
"Wha-! Oh you!" she says, putting her hand to her chest. Then to the phone, "Sorry, someone here startled me. But we're good for Wednesday, right? ... Excellent."
"Uh, Liz. It's time to go," I tell her, indicating my watch.
Liz waves me away, without looking. She's still talking. "Yes, we'll be ready. Good-bye."
Liz hangs up the phone and Kyle sighs in relief. "Great! Let's go then."
"Sure," Liz says. "As soon as I finish this chart."
"That can wait until tomorrow, can't it?" I ask.
"Well, yeah. But I've got a bunch of other things to do tomorrow. I'd like to get it out of the way."
"Liz, We're all about to go out to dinner. Don't you want to come with us?" Kyle asks.
"Of course I do!" She says. "Just let me do this little thing..."
"No. Come on. Everybody's waiting!" I say.
"Let's go," Kyle tells her, pulling her up from her chair.
Liz looks at us, with an expression of annoyance, then sighs. "Fine! Let's go then."
"Great!" Kyle grins. He puts his hand on her shoulder as we walk out of the office area.
