I wake up from doze to hear the captain communicating with me.
"Please, call me Max or Zan" I tell him through the link. "Yes?"

"Si...Zan, we are about to land"

"Thanks Darwin" I say as I turn to Michael. "We're landing"
I quickly check my belt is in place and smile. "Are you ready to meet my girl?"

Isabel

I am standing just outside the control room with a clear view of the landing deck when one of the air traffic controllers comes up to me,"We've just received word your majesty...they'll be landing in two minutes."

I nod at him and smile,"Thank you Bosola."

"I see I made it in time," a voice behind me says and I turn to him,"Good you made it." Standing by his side I wrap one arm around his waist and look up at him,"Was the physical okay?"

not really helping the plot along but I didn't know what to post

ALEX

It's been two days since father announced that bodyguards/watchers will be sent for Elizabeth. They should arrive soon, I just hope they'll come to us immediately instead of sneaking around and spying on us but I guess I'm just being paranoid.

Lizzie is putting up a brave face, of course she is, always has been a fighter. I'm not sure how she really feels about the whole prospect of being watched and married soon, having to leave home. She must be frightened I guess but as long as she won't talk to me on her own, I'm not gonna force her to discuss this yet.

I put on a bright smile and put my arms around Vilandra to hold her against me. I place a gentle kiss on her head and say, "I'm fit as a fiddle. The doctor said I've never been in better physical shape." That wasn't exactly an out and out lie. He did say that, before he told me about the damn parasite.

Luckily I don't have to say anything else because suddenly the loud noises of Ava's ship drown out any possibility of conversation. I pull Lonnie back slightly to use the building to shield us from the bulk of the strong winds being caused by the large vessel. I take a deep breath to try to steady my nerves. Why I should be nervous about seeing my sister, I don't know but I am.

Michael

I woken up by Max's voice,"We're landing"
"Huh...wha...oh okay." I scramble out of the bed
"Are you ready to meet my girl?" he asks
Smirking at him while I straighten out my hair I reply,"I think the question should be-are you ready to meet your girl?"

I swallow nervously. Yeah.. I know thats the question but...I don't want it to be. I look out of the window. "Hmm" is the best I can manage in resonse. I drum nervously on the arm of my chair not knowing what to say.

~MARIA~

I quickly move down the hall to the door where those two guards from Antar will be coming from the landing deck. I know I should probably be spending my time doing something else but my curiosity has gotten the better of me. I want to see what these two guys look like. I tuck myself into the recessed doorway that leads to either the control room or a closet, I'm not sure which one, and hide in the deep shadows of it. I should be able to see the two people I'm curious about without them seeing me. I believe they're supposed to report to King Jeffrey before they go anywhere else.

So I'll just check them out and when they are with the King, I'll go report what I can to Lizzie and Alex. I nod my head and smirk in self-satisfaction, thinking I have a pretty good plan. Now all I have to do is wait.

question: will Max and Michael land with someone expecting them - the king or Alex - or is it just Maria who's trying to spy?
