I toss her the keys, and she catches them effortlessly, giggling as she slides into the drivers seat. I get in the passenger's side, just in time to her hear say "Buckle your seat belt ,because I am going to take you for a ride."

"Oh really?" I joke, putting on my seatbelt. "Well then. Amaze me." I've never met a girl that was really good at driving. Like Liz for example. She drives way too slow for my taste. Maybe Maria will surprise me.

"Oh really?" Michael teases but indeed follows my advice and buckles up. "Well then. Amaze me." Tossing my hair confidently over my shoulder I flash him a confident grin. If there's one thing Hank did it was teach me how to drive. You know just in case I had to pick him up after a drunken bender. Cranking the car, I listen to her purr in appreciationm before shifting into reverse and expertly backing out of the parking spot.

Pulling the gear shift into drive I speed out of the parking lot making it onto the high way in record time. I may be a fast driver ,but I'm a fairly safe one also. Needing some background music I flip on the radio and find that one of my favorite songs is on. "Ohh I love this one!" Turning up the volume I sing along with no shame. Wow, I can't believe I feel this confortable with him. I never sing in front of people. I guess Michael's just not like other people.

Michael

Maria pulls out of the parking lot quickly but smoothly, and I look over at her. She really is good at driving. I watch as she flips on the radio, making it onto the highway faster than I'd been going before, and starts singing along to a Nickelback song. The entire time the song is going, I sit there quietly, again amazed. She has a beautiful voice.

"You know, you have an amazing voice," I tell her once the song's ended. "You should come sing with Alex and me sometime." I can't remember if I told her about our little band, but we've been looking for a girl to put in for a few duets and songs, and Maria might be just what we've been looking for.

*Maria*

"You know, you have an amazing voice," He compliments with the sweetest voice, The song ends and he offers, "You should come sing with Alex and me sometime." Wow, that's really nice. "Are you in a band or something?" I inquire suddenly intrigued. It means a lot to me that he likes my voice. Maybe I'll show him my lyrics book some time. Hmm. Maybe

"Are you in a band or something?" Maria asks, and I grin, looking over at her.

"Yeah, Alex and I started one with a couple other guy's from school. We've been practicing for a while, but we don't really have a name yet. I'm the bassist and...sort of lead-singer with Alex. But we've got a few songs that need a girl's part in them and stuff." When it comes to the band, I've always got a lot to say, which is unusual, but then there's the art stuff that I keep to myself, so I'm not completely open.

"Alex and I've been practicing together for years, and we write songs together too." I finish, smiling again. I remember we used to right songs about such random stuff, angsty rock about being grounded for a month. Looking back on it, it's pretty cheesy.

Hey! are you putting down the tv dinner with game watching!"I say with a mock offended expression and then laugh breaking the serious mood I was pretending to have."I'll have you know that dinner while watching the game combine two of my favourite things!" I say cheekily and pick up one of the empty plates infront me and begin to head for the kitchen but stop as Im about to pass kyle. Should I do it, I've been dying to since he walked in the door, smelling delicious and looking every bit as good. Oh heck! here goes nothing.

Leaning down quickly before I lose my nerve I place my lips against Kyle's in a short but passionate kiss and then stand back up and head to the kitchen. I put the dish in the sink and have to force myself not the go back in there and make out with Kyle like I really want to. That man has the softest and sweetest lips I have ever kissed!.

I learn something new about him constantly. He's like this enigma. A interesting mystery that I can never seem to fully figure out.

I've always kind of kept my music on the backburner. Hank, would belittle me for practicing ,and if someone tells you that your worthless year after year you can't help but start to believe it. I know better know. Hank was just a pathetic old man whose worst enemy was himself. It's took meeting people who really care about me to realize that I am worth something.

"That sounds awesome. I'd love to hear you play sometime." I reply before turning on to the road that leads to home. Wow, I have a home. "Actually, when we get there I want to show you something." I think I'm gonna let him take a look at my lyrics book. After all maybe he can give me the honest perspective I need. We finally reach our destination and I notice that we are not alone. Kyle's car is parked out front. "Looks like we've got company." I remark with a knowing snicker.

"We'd better check the front door for hair bows. If it's a red one I'm not going in there." I state happily.

*Kyle*

I am shocked when she actually shows a profound interest for the game, but I shouldn't have been. It's as if Buddha made her espeically for me. I must have been a real good boy this year, or I was very good at hiding my naughty qualities. "Hey! are you putting down the tv dinner with game watching!" She seems entirely offended ,but that sweet smile tells me she's just joking. How did I get so lucky to have found such a wonderful woman.

"I'll have you know that dinner while watching the game combine two of my favourite things!" I will certainly keep that in mind. She begins to gather the empty plates and starts for the kitcehn ,but stops abruptly and gives me the most incredible kiss I have ever received. Before I can say a word she has retreated to the kitchen leaving me stunned. Snapping out of the lust filled haze I stand and walk through the doors she just exited.

Tess stands over the sink and has begun washing the dishes. The scene is just to enticing. Maybe it was Tess's amsued face as she wastched me enter, maybe it was the bubbles all over her hands, or maybe it was the... I'm pretty sure it was the way she licked her lips at my entrance. Yeah, that was it. I couldn't control myself with two steps I had crossed the room and had gathered her up tightly in my arms. "Let me give you a hand with that." I whisper huskily before my lips decend on hers capturing hers with an urgent and needy kiss.

The feel of her snuggled safely to my chest makes my blood boil and my palms run over her back in a slow tantilizing motion. That's when I hear a car door slam. "Did you hear that?" I question wondering if it was from the neighbors yard.

Alex's eyes widen for a second when I tell him that I had taken a peek and enjoyed the view but then all too soon he realises that I am pulling his leg and a smirk replaces the shocked look on his face,"Oh, did you now?",he asks smoothly

Ooops!Caught in my own trap.What now?I am not really an expert at teasing men.Quick come up with some witty retort Isabel...anything...sometime during this week preferably slowpoke.


I look at Alex once more dismissing the sarcastic little voice in my head."Yes I did...I enjoyed the view very much." I say as confidently as possible but I begin wading backwards towards the wall of the pool so that I could support myself against it.

My legs were beginning to tire from trying to keep afloat in the deep end.

*TESS*

"Let me give you a hand with that."Kyle says coming into the kitchen, gathering me into his arms a sigh of pleasure flows from my lips as Kyle claims my mouth in a passionate kiss that has me tingling all over. A car door slams and Kyle brakes our kiss.

"Did you hear that?"My only answer is a look of utter shock and disbelief. "yeah..I heard it, but people are allowed to close car doors" I say pulling his mouth back to mine, no way am I letting someone closing a car door come between and my kiss.
