I stared in horror as he grabbed my hand and tugged. I didn't move.

"The cops!" I shrieked. "Michael, my mom will kill me!!!"

"Maria, it's ok, come on and you're mom wont find out." She still doesn't move. "Please Maria!"
Nothing
"Ok fine"
I grab her and carry her over my shoulder to the exit.

"Michael!" I yelled in anger, forgetting my fear. "Put me down you big oaf!!"

I waited, but he didn't let me down, just kept carrying me towards the exit. I blushed when people turned to look at us, realizing how weird we looked. "I can walk myself, you know!"

I put her down, getting angry. There was sitens in the distant, and now people were screaming.
"Well then stop panicing about your mother and move!" I say trying to pull her to the exit.

I yank my arm out of his grip. "All right!" I yell, starting to run. He runs with me and we reach my car. I fumble with my keys, trying to push them into the lock.

"Come on, come on, come on!" I say in frustration, trying to stop my hands from shaking. Michael makes a impatient sound in the back of his throat and reaches to take the keys, just as a light is shined in my eyes.

"Going somewhere?" A male voice asked, and we both turned to find sheriff Valenti standing behind us.

Stupid Maria! If only she'd have let me carry her....
"Sheriff, Maria gave her purse to her friend and she rang her cell and she said she was here so we came here to get the keys? And look sheriff we have no alcohol on us, no illegal drugs, nothing! We're just innocent bystanders who had to get her keys."

"Max...I really hurt my arm...I can't move it.." I notice that Alex and Isabel are with us, but not Michael and Maria... I look over, and in the middle of everything is the sheriff, and standing in front of him is sure enough Michael and Maria. "Shit.." I mummbled under my breath... Max followed my glaze, and said the same..

I look over at Michael and Maria.
"Don't worry they'll handle it, we need to get out of here."
I moved close to Liz and put my hand over her arm. There was a white light and I moved away.
"That should do it, now lets go before they catch us too!"

Liz:

"Max...we can't just leave them here...what if he takes them in?" I asked him.
