"You won't believe it put I'm attending a police academy. In about two years, I'll make sure that the streets are a little safer or decide if I want to specialise in something." I tell Michael.

"If you want to, we can certainly dance with the others. It will make me sleep better and I will be fully rested for the drive to the airport tomorrow."

*Michael*

"You won't believe it put I'm attending a police academy. In about two years, I'll make sure that the streets are a little safer or decide if I want to specialise in something." she says. "If you want to, we can certainly dance with the others. It will make me sleep better and I will be fully rested for the drive to the airport tomorrow."

I put an arm around her waist as we walk towards the dancefloor. I'll need to ask about where she's staying in a minute. But first ...

"The police acadamy? You get to carry a gun and handcuffs?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. The gun doesn't interest me, but I have an instant picture of other uses for those handcuffs around her pretty wrists.

KELS

I raise an eyebrow in amusement. "You know it is kinda funny that *every* guy is asking about the handcuffs. If I were a man, I'd be more worried about a woman with a gun, you know."

"And before you ask, no, I will not use them on myself, my boyfriend, my girlfriends or anyone else or in my bedroom, kitchen or any other place of my apartement." I say with another smile.

Men are so easy.

*Michael*

"You're really too young to be closing yourself off from all possibilities. You never know what might be fun," I suggest, but I don't push it any further. Instead, I just pull her close and start stepping to the music.

"It's a shame you're leaving so soon, 'though. I would love to get to know you a little better. Where are you staying tonight? There is an extra room at the house, you know," I tell her.

KELS

"Thanks for the offer, Casanova, but I'm staying with Liz's family tonight." I tell Michael

I glance over at the others. "So, Liz and Max seem to get along really well." I muse and then look at Michael. "Can I ask you something and you really don't have to answer if you don't want to."

ISABEL

"What do you mean? They are dancing together from what I can tell." Alex says.

“Is that all they are doing?” I ask, raising an eyebrow. “Come on, Alex. We both know there’s something between them, now tell me what you know!”

*Michael*

I smirk at Kelsey's refusal of my offer of a room. There's still a few hours left to this party. Maybe a lot more than that. I still have time to make her change her mind. Her next words however, make that smile fade.

Why is she asking about Max and Liz? Why do all the girls always ask about him? Okay, maybe she's really just asking about Liz. Afterall, Liz is her friend and maybe Max just happens to be dancing with her. That is a bit odd, 'tho. I though he and Tess were tight. Maybe when Kels has gone, I can feed off of that and get her away from him.

"Can I ask you something and you really don't have to answer if you don't want to," she says.

"Sure," I tell her. "I'm happy to satisfy your curiousity, if I can. What do you want to know?" I'm hoping it'll be a personal question about me. I know I can charm her once I know what interests her.

ALEX

“Come on, Alex. We both know there’s something between them, now tell me what you know!”

I look over to Max and Liz again who are still dancing and then to Tess and Kyle. Tess doesn't seem to mind Max not dancing with her but with Liz but that doesn't have to mean anything.

"As far as I know, they are friends, Isabel." I say, not looking at the blonde. I promised Liz to not tell Isabel anything even if she is her room mate ... wait!

"Why do you ask? Did Liz say soemthing?" I ask.

KELS

I smile nervously at Michael. God, I hope he won't freak.

"Okay, before I ask, remember you don't have to answer and I won't tell anyone about this, okay?" I wait till Michael nodded and then after taking a deep breathe, "Why are you so pissed at Max? Is it because all the girls were over him at the beginning and you really thought they'd all be digging you or is it because one special girl showed interest in him?"

He seems speechless for a moment and I raise my hand, "Before you explode, I'm just asking because I sometimes watch the show on the internet and so I know about the magazines and so far, I have no clue other than jealousy as to why you did that. "

I hope he won't blow up on me here, Max would surely try to come to my rescue which would really set things off between those two.

ISABEL

I considering lying for a moment before shaking my head. “No, she didn’t say a word. I guess I’m just reading too much into the body language.”

Looking back towards the dance floor, I notice that Kels and Michael have now joined the crowd. Everyone seems to be having a good time. Tess and Kyle are dancing together and I briefly wonder if I should feel any jealousy or something. After all, Kyle is meant to me taking me out on a date tomorrow. Instead of jealousy, I feel amused as I watch Kyle attempt to dance with the bubbly blonde.

Running my hand through my hair, I smile at Alex. “You wanna dance, Officer?”
