THAT WAS IT! I broke into a full run, and then did a flying leap, landing on Michael's back. I wrapped my arms and legs around his backside, rasing my hand and slapping his head. "IF--YOU--USE--YOUR--POWERS--AGAINST--HIM--AGAIN--I'LL--BREAK--UP--WITH--YOU!" I yelled, speaking each word as I hit him.

"IF--YOU--USE--YOUR--POWERS--AGAINST--HIM--AGAIN--WE--ARE--THROUGH!"
WHAT?
As she said that I felt like she had poured ice down my back.
I don't respond. For one, in my current state, the only way I can move would be if I used my power on Maria, and theres no way I would EVER do that.
And there was no way I was going to say anything. She would break up with me if I did. And Im waaaay to angry to talk to Max right now. And since Liz is unknown territory to me, I decide saying nothing is the best policy.

Liz:

I stepped in front of Michael..."Leave him alone...this is none of your business!! I don't care if you think I'm a trap...I don't care... If you don't like me... this is our life...You want to know what...we did sleep together...not because it's our destiny---but because we love eachother--YES WE FUCKING LOVE EACHOTHER!! AND NO I AM NOT PREGNANT IF THAT IS WHAT YOUR GOING TO ACCUSE ME OF BEING!! YOU KNOW WHY I'M NOT FUCKING PREGNANT...BECAUSE MY ROYAL SEAL HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED!! IT CAN ONLY BE ACTIVIATED ONCE YOU ARE MARRIED...AND GUESS WHAT I'M NOT MARRIED AM I? NOT I'M FUCKING NOT--BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO BE 21 IN ORDER TO BE MARRIED!! AND DON'T ASK ME WHY I KNOW THIS...BECAUSE I DON'T FUCKING KNOW...AND IF THIS IS NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU TO LEAVE US THE HELL ALONE THEN THAT IS TOO DAMN BAD!!" I yelled at him--without even knowing...I thought to myself...where did that come from. But I kept my stare on him.

My head really hurts. A lot. What Liz just said was really foreign to me. But somehow, I know she's right.
"She's right Michael" I mutter.
I can't stand. The room is swimming as it is. I just stay where I crashed against the wall.

I can't say anything. I don't want to say anything.
I wouldn't know what to say if I had anything to say. I just keep staring at the floor that Maria's hold is making me look at.

~Maria~

I gradually felt Michael's body relax, so I cautiously slid off of him. "Are you going to be stupid again?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. He shook his head wordlessly. Satisfied, I turned to Liz, "How do you two know this?" I asked curiously.

Liz:

I ran to Max's side...I figured really quick that since we were soulmates...we shared the same soul, which we shared some of the same powers..."Max...look at me, I'm going to try something okay, but you have to look at me." He weakly looked up...I stared deeply into his eyes...and put my hands around his head--and connected with him, I healed him--I saw images of us, our wedding day--his going pro...our children....four to be exact--and we were so happy... within minutes I was huffing...and panting... I had taken all his pain and stored it within me...I stumbled and fell back onto the ground--as I could see that he was okay now...I had healed him. I tried to catch my breath.

The pain in my head subsides. The room slowly stops revolving, and I shuffle over to Liz.
I carefully pull her upright and into a hug. "Thank you" I tell her.
I look over to Maria, and finally register her question. "No idea. No idea at all. Liz?"

Once Maria had got off of me I slowly sit myself in a crossed leg position. I shuffle across the floor to the back wall.
I want to be as far away as possible right now.

I looked at them...and looked at the ground..."Nasedo told me...when I was younger...of course I didn't understand what he was talking about...he never specified exactly...he just told me that once I turn 21 I must be married to my betrothed--and then a seal will become activated and that's when a destiny would be fullfilled. Kinda like a pre set alarm clock...I didn't remember it till just now." I still was trying to catch my breath. "Hey..sorry for blowing up on you like that Michael..."

I don't know what to say. What to do. I think....actually I know I owe some apologies....but I can't bring myself to do it. I know I should respond to Liz, but if I do she will expect an apology too. So I stare at the floor.
The fact is....I meant most of what I said. Max is such an idiot sometimes. And I hate being his lacky. The guy who's always second best.
I don't know Liz well. I don't know her well at all...and that in my book means I need to know what Im dealing with....but I need to find a better way to do it that this.
And Maria. Well she just threatened me with the one thing that I really care about. Her.
I continue to stare at the floor.
