~ROXIE~

When a messanger from the front office comes into the classroom, I have to stifle a groan. Closing my eyes tight I chant, "Please don't be for me. Please don't be for me. Please don't be for me," under my breath. My eyes pop open and I do groan when my name is called. Samantha Peters, who sits in front of me and is always flirting with Chris, is staring at me like I'm some kind of nut job.

"Problem?" I ask bluntly.

She only wrinkles her nose and says slyly, "Problem? I'm not the one that got called to Principal Walters' office...again."

I ignore her and grab my stuff since it's almost the end of the period. This is going to be fun! Not. What the heck am I gonna say?

~MICHAEL~

I want to hide at Maria's question because I know she's just gonna bust a gut at the answer. "Um, evidently, they snuck back to the house and took Chris' new SUV...you know, the one we just gave him two days ago?"

~Maria~

"Have you tried calling Chris? I'm sure he had a perfectly resonible explanation why he left. He wouldn't just run off with his NEW CAR he begged his father to get him." I said.

Leo thought it had been unfair that his father got Chris a car but made Leo work for his.

"I knew letting Leo get his own car was a mistake!" I replied.

Occ: I can't remember. Did any of them have telepathy as a power/gift?

~MICHAEL~

I do what I always do when Maria starts yelling...I get defensive and start spouting off at the mouth. "Yeah, well, guess what? You think getting Angel that bike is a mistake but it's still gonna happen," I tell her. Then I wince. I didn't say that out loud did I?

Quickly shaking my head and holding up my hand at the onslaught that's about to come, I say, "Look, we're going to try to call Chris but we're waiting for Roxie or Jake because I think he'll answer sooner if we call from one of their phones."

~ROXIE~

As I walk to the office, I notice that I'm moving slower and slower. Think, Roxie, think! What have I come up with by the time I make it to the door? Zilch. Nothing. Nada. Zero...well, you get the idea.

Opening the door, I smile at Ms. Pearson. "I got a summons to come to Principal Walters' office?"

She frowns at me and my smile falters. "Go right in."

I open the door after a light knock and pretend to be surprised to see my parents and Michael and Maria. "Hey, everyone! What's up?" I ask. I wonder if I'm a good actress.

~Maria~

"Woah wait a minute, I wasn't the one who taught him to ride them in the first place." I yelled back.

Then, Roxie comes in acting like she has no clue what is going on.

~Jake~

I walk in to the office and hand Mrs. Pearson the piece of paper and she tells me to go ahead and go in.

I walk in and see my parents, sister, and Michael and Maria.

"Hey," I say freaked.

~Sarah~

My phone starts to go off and so does Angel's and Chris's. I look to it and see a text from Roxie. Damn, if my mom finds out about this I'm gonna get in so much trouble. Why today? Why couldn't have Leo and Lor skipped on a weekend? I'm mean hello, no school.

"This is not good. I'm really gonna hurt Leo!" Chris says and he makes me jump in my seat. You could hear the anger in his voice and it surprised me to hear that anger come out of Chris. "Chris just calm down, we can come up with some sort of explination. There's no need to hurt Leo, unless...." I trail off. Unless, he hurts Lor.

~MICHAEL~

As Roxie walks in, followed quickly by Jake, I swoop down on her like a hawk. "You have any idea that my kids were skipping?" I demand of her, including Jake in the question with a glance his way.

~ROXIE~

I back up until I run into Jake and then we back up together until we hit the door as Michael corners us. 'THINK DAMN IT!' my mind screams. "Skipping?" I echo. "Who's skipping? I didn't know anyone was skipping. Did you, Jake?"

Suddenly, I'm hit with the biggest idea...FINALLY! I almost yell out loud. Quickly tuning out what's going on around me, I send out a message via brain waves, directing them towards Leo. "LEO! If you're listening out there, your parents and mine are at the school and you and Lor are in big trouble. Chris, Angel, and Sarah are skipping too. Send them a message if you can and let them know to expect a phone call from one of them!"

I hope he got that.

~Angel~

I didn't like the sound of that, unless.

"Now Sarah don't encourage him," I say mockingly.

~Chris~

"Shut up Angel!" I yell. I'm very tense and fustrated at the moment.

"God! I sound like Mom!" I reply weakly.

~Jake~

"I didn't even know anybody was skipping," I say truthfully.

~Maria~

"So no of you knew?" I asked. Giving Michael a glare. We both knew Roxie knew something.

Occ: I'm tired and it's late. I think I'm going to go to bed. Be back on tomorrow sometime before work.

~ROXIE~

Maybe I should follow Jake's example and stick to the truth. "I can honestly say that I have no idea where Chris or any of the others are." There, I think that went pretty well. Until my mom speaks up.

~LIZ~

I zero in on Roxie's words and look at her sharply. "Don't you have Biology with Chris this period?" I ask. Her face drops and I know I have her. "You did know they were skipping didn't you?"

~ROXIE~

Oh crap! Me and my big mouth! "I thought Chris was at the nurse. He said something about a bad headache earlier and I thought he went for some medicine or something. We have study period in Bio and I didn't think anything of it!" I try.

I know that it isn't over by everyone's faces. When Michael holds out his hand and only barks out, "Phone," I hand it over without complaint. Oh boy!

**SERENA**

"Need help, honey?" Kyle says sweetly, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Nope, all done" I say with a slightly strained smile, until I turn around and look into my gorgeous husbands eyes. It's like everytime I look into his eyes I fall for him all over again.

Pressing my lips to his I can't help but sighing in content but Im not really...oh kyle! why can't I just talk to you about this?, why does this have to be such a huge issue stuck between us, one you don't even know about.

Ending our kiss I place my forehead against his, desperate for the comfort his touch gives me. "I think Im going over to see Ria today, you know get the goss on the family"I say with a fake cheerful smile.
