I wandered around the large house, wondering where everyone was. Once I had gotten out of the storm, I had left at once to clean up and fix my appearance. Now I was all freshened up, and I couldn't find anyone. Walking by the kitchen, I noticed Kyle sitting on one of the chairs, so I walked over to him.
"Hi," I said, sitting down beside him.

I blushed again. God, I've been doing that a lot lately. "Well, I wasn't sure if you liked someone else. I haven't had much experience in girls' feelings or hints or anything." I grinned at her. "So if you wanted me to do it, how come you didn't first?"

I swallow. Oh dear...this doesn't sound good. "O...K..." I say sitting besides her. "Look, Isabel I understand if you don't want to tell me, it's ok." I tell her.

"Scared me? Nah. If you had scared me, would I have done this?" I moved forward and put a hand on her chin, before kissing her softly. "No. You didn't scare me," I said quietly after ending the kiss.

There was no answer from Tess when I knocked on her door so I went back downstairs and decided to fix myself a sandwich,before settling down to watch a movie.
Hi...I had the biggest grin on my face when I heard that voice
"Hey Tess" I said happily "I had gone to your room to look for you but you weren't there."
"I'm going to watch a movie in the den...would you like to join me?" I asked praying that she would say yes.

Once Alex had sat down and was facing me,I took a deep breath and told him about my mother's letter...
"I told you that I had received a letter from my mother today...well...what I didn't tell you was the real reason she sent me one so soon after I had left home."
I was getting nervous...Stay calm,stay calm...I kept telling myself...you have no reason to get agitated
"You remember I told you about,that man I was in love with in Switzerland?...he showed up at my house just a a few hours after I left yesterday.He wanted to see me." I said in a rush,wanting to get it all out quickly

I took her hand in mine and made her put down the cloth and just looked at her. "You're so beautiful Liz--I've been a fool over the last day, I want to get to know you...please give me another chance?" I asked her as I looked into her brown eyes. I tried to sit up again, but failed...I winced in pain. "Okay, I don't think I can sit up." I smirked as she helped my lay back down guiding me back under the covers, but when she tried to return to her seat I caught her arm, kissed her hand asked her. "Please tell me that forgive me." I pleaded with her with silence.

I felt like I was walking on air. I'm so deliriously happy! It's unbelieveable. He kissed me again!
"Good, so do you think that I could do this?" I ask before kissing him.

I knew it was too good to be true.
I can feel my heart in the floor.
I should be screeming "noooooo" as I drop down this well.
He's coming back.
He's back.
And he's coming for her.
The guy she loved.
I don't even know how she feels about me.
Probably the guy to get her through til he showed up.
She's staring at me waiting for a reply.
"That's great Isabel. Good for you" I tell her putting on a small fake smile.
"You know what I'm not feeling very well...I better go...." I mutter as I leave her room.
I quickly go downstairs before she can follow me. I see Kyle and Tess downstairs.
"Sorry to interupt guys...I was wondering Kyle where I was going to sleep...I'm not feeling well."

Alex ran out of my room and left me...he left me.What's the matter with that guy?I'm trying to be honest with him.
Oh damn.So much for honesty.
Go and talk to him...go and explain,you fool. My insides yelled at me
So I got up and went to look for him,determined to get him to understand my feelings and where I was coming from.

"Oh hey Alex...I told my mother to put you in the room next to Isabel's" I said giving him a wink,"it has an adjoining balcony,with hers."
