"Hey man, you'd organize it with me right?"

"Depends - do I get to eat without having to cook?" I ask with a grin. No matter what people say, cooking+Alex C. Whitman = catastrophe. Wouldn't want to damage Michael's kitchen, I'd rather watch the others cook. It's always nice to watch other people work.

"Seriously, sure I'll help you. If I have time - you have to co-ordinate that with my 'Made-coach' over here." I tell Michael with a nod in Isabel's direction.

Isabel

Michael asks Alex if he'd help him arrange things for the demo class and Alex says,"Seriously, sure I'll help you. If I have time - you have to co-ordinate that with my 'Makeover-coach' over here." and he nods in my direction

I immediately swat him on the arm,"I'm hardly your keeper." I say in mock indignation and then focus on Michael once more "We'll be free don't worry,as long as you let me know in advance...whatever I have to get done to make Alex look like..." I raise one eyebrow "a stud can be worked around the demo."

Occ: I'm gonna PM FaithfulAngel again. Hopefully, she'll be able to post today or tomorrow.

I hold out the napkin with my number on it a little closer to Michael. He doesn't seem that interested but maybe I can change his mind. Maybe I'll just end up changing my mind. "Here, Michael. I definitely want in on this cooking thing. I'd love to get my hands on a sweet and sensual tasty morsel. It'd be even better if I learned from a professional how to make it myself."

I chuckle a little at her words. "Me? I never forget a meal. I guess that's a guy thing. If you're hungry, we could skip dancing and go over to the bar over there. I know they have a short menu of snack type things, you know appetizers. I could always eat." I nod at the bar that's a few feet from us. We're standing at the bottom of the stairs, almost at the dance floor and I glance over at Max who has yet another girl draped on him. I laugh a little and shake my head at the sight.

ooc: Im back for two days. Im having some wierd dizzy spells though, so I dont know how much I'll be able to post... Can someone gimme a catch up... I dont think my head would let me sit and read all the rpgs im in

Did you notice? She said 'we'. I know, it is mostly because of the makeover thing but still ... it sounds nice. I'm pretty sure Max won't think of it as nice but ... maybe he won't know about this very soon.

I quirk an eyebrow when I see Liz leaning in close to Michael, looks like she might be interested in my friend.

"I take it that Liz is single at the moment." I comment to Isabel with a slight nod in Michael's and Liz's direction, hoping that they won't notice it.

Isabel

"I take it that Liz is single at the moment." Alex asks me off-handedly and nods subtlety in her direction

I laugh softly,"Alex...I really don't think there has been a time when Liz hasn't been single.She has never had a steady boyfriend.I am hoping that one day she will meet her match and they both will fall hopeless head over heels for each other."

Looking back at him I decide to be a little nicer and not so cold like I have been the past few minutes,"So what about you...when was the last time you had a girlfriend?"

I suppose the "one post/day rule" is history now that Mel is back?

ALEX

"So what about you...when was the last time you had a girlfriend?"

"In the last millenium." I laugh before turning serious. "My last relationship ended last year and not on very good terms and because of that I wasn't really looking for anything serious since then."

'Ending not on good terms' is actually very nicely put but the less I think about it, the better it is for me, I suppose.

"Liz kinda reminds me of Max, if I'm honest." I say after a moment, changing the topic, not sure how Isabel will take that comment about her brother. "He says he wants to have a wife, kids and all that but ... so far, he doesn't appear to be interested in something serious."

Isabel

I am tempted to ask him why he had a bad ending to his previous relationship but I remind myself that I hardly know him.May be when we are better friends...WOAH!!!

'When we are better friends'...now where did a thought like that come from?

I let what he has said sink in before remarking "I guess you could Liz is Max in a skirt." I chuckle at my own joke before an idea starts forming in my head

Leaning closer to Alex I lower my voice,"It would be fun to see them both together."

Occ: Yes, the 1 post per day rule is on hold for the next two days but will resume when Mel goes out of town again. How long is she supposed to be gone again this time? I forget. Also, we have a bit of a problem. Maria is a major player in this RP and I have yet to hear from FaithfulAngel. I PM'ed her last week and the PM is still in my outbox which means she hasn't gotten it yet. It's been about 2 weeks since her last post. I don't mind waiting for her if I get a message from her soon. Otherwise, we may need to recast. I hate doing that and I don't want to cause problems but that was the rules of this RPG specifically. It is rule #4. If you see her around or hear from her, please let her know that I will wait a total of 3 more days to hear from her before starting to look for a replacement. *sigh* I really hate that. I know she's great at RPG's and I like her style.

ALEX

"I guess you could Liz is Max in a skirt."

I chuckle at that, immediately picturing Max in a skirt. Hilarious image - if only Max could see himself like this and ... oh, Isabel's leaning closer to me and speaks in a low and slightly husky voice.

"It would be fun to see them both together."

"Okay, since you are Max sister, I take it that you don't mean together as in ... 'together." I attempt to joke, trying to think clearly with her being so close. "What do you mean? Together as in dating?"
