"Erm," I said. "Well....I could ring home and tell them Im staying at Michael's. They know I often do that and have no problem with it." I tell her. "That is of course if you want me to stay?" I ask.

Liz:

"well, of course I want you to stay but I don't you to get in trouble..." I looked at him conserned.

"Trust me. I stay at Michael's at least once a week. It's not a unusual thing. They know me and Michael are best buddies. They totally trust him. And if it really worries you I can ring Michael and ask him to cover too....although if I did that that would be very akward and he's bound to tell everyone else." I reply.

Liz:

I sat there in silence for awhile...and thought to myself... "If we look at the small picture...it will only be me and you...but if We look at the big picture. I don't want to upset anyone... How about you stay for an a hour more...and you leave at 10PM--you go home..and we both sleep at our own houses...so your sister dosen't get worried...cuz I can sense that she is. and you come and pick me up tomorrow morning for school since...my car is still in the parking lot at the school. And maybe when your parents get to know me a bit more...we can have over night slumber parties...just you me...how about that?" I asked him.

I look at Liz. I know she's right. But I am dissapointed.
"Okay. Well, actually I guess I should get going now then...my mom and dad might wonder if I come back this late why I didnt just stay at Michael's" I tell her.

Liz:

I was stuck between doing the right thing...and the wrong... "Then go call your parents...letting them know your with Michael for the night..." I tossed him the cordless phone. he smiled.

I quickly dial my home number before Liz changes her mind.
"Hey mom." I said. "Can I stay over at Michael's tonight. There's a pop quiz tommorow and were studying together.....Yes I won't stay up to late... Thanks mom....yeah I'll come back in the morning to change.....Night mom. Love you."
I hang up the phone and turn to Liz.
"Do you want me to ring Michael? Or will that just cause more trouble than its worth?" I ask.

Liz:

"I think you should just come back to bed... " I smirked at him as I patted on the bed, like at invitation for him.

I head over to the bed. I carefully sit on the edge.
"Like this" I said teasingly.

Liz:

I knew he was teasing me, so I returned the favor... "Well, you can stay there if you want..." I smiled at him as I got up not bothering to cover up..." I'm gonna go take a shower..." I smiled at him as I went into the restroom.
