"No." I put my hand on Alex's arm thinking he's going to get up "They can handle it,I'm sure."
As if on cue,Max also says something to Grant as does Liz and Grant looks like a shrinking violet.Rather funny imagery,I know but it works.

Isabel explains with her hand still on my arm. Looks like Max and Liz have the situation under control. Good.
"Do I hear some satisfaction in your voice about Grant getting kicked out?" I asked Isabel amused. It certainly makes me feel good.
I briefly wonder if Max will spot Isabel and me, after all, we are not that far away from them and almost no people are between us. And if he spots us, will he come over to chat or start an argument with me because I'm now dating, I guess, his sister instead of staying away from her like promised?

"Why, of course I have but I'm afraid that there are too many people around to act them all out." I reply with a cheesy grin, which is widdening when Isabel chokes lightly on her sandwich.
Patting her back softly, I continue, "Seriously, we could explore Liz's place but you probably already know the house. Tell stories about our friends, or tell each other our dreams and fantasies for the future."
Sighing, I run a hand through my short hair, "Okay, I admit I don't have that many ideas."

I look at him with tears in my eyes after my choking fit,he's getting bolder,which is good.
"Okay, I admit I don't have that many ideas." he says in frustration after listing a few of his ideas
"Actually I like that exploring idea." I say quietly,looking at him in what I hope is a seductive manner

"Yes Ma'am." I say as I put the plate with the leftovers away and walk after her. Ican't help but glance in Max's direction but no, he doesn't appear to notice me and Isabel disappearing.
"Okay, where are we heading? And is it very weird that I hear the theme song of 'Goonies' playing in my head?"
