Max

I oblige to Kyle's command and pick Liz up. With one last glance I see that Michael seems to be okay. I look at the case of stairs and figure it would be easier to orb up there. Closing my eyes I orb us to her room and gently lay her on the bed. Brushing the hair away from her forhead I kiss her gently before sitting down in the chair located next to the bed.

I had headed out a while after ever one had left for the night out I didn’t really feel in the partying mood. I was walking the streets of Roswell which I am sad to say I still am not familiar with but hopefully thanks to the new job I got I will be. I started at a tempt agency and the first job they got me delivery boy but I prefer delivery MAN.

“Well it’s getting late better head home check to see if anyone needs to be bailed out of jail or something.” I laugh and head on home. Haha home sounds kind of nice.

*Maria*

“Maria why don’t you get Michael up to your room. Max get Liz up to her room and heal her.” Kyle states taking control over the situation. It's a good thing to because I am in no way capable of making important decsions. It's funny with everything else in my life I can be super witch and save the world on a daily basis ,but when it comes to Michael my resistance shatters. All that matters is him.


"Maria?" he chokes out his poor voice barely audiable. His eyes flicker open but he has a rough time keeping them that way.

"I don't feel so good." he replies his hand trembing under mine.

"I know baby ,but you are going to be alright. I'm here. I won't leave you." I promise holding him tightly.

Following Kyle's orders I shimmer us to my bedroom and put him in the bed carefully.

"You know this is the second time you've been in my bed that I haven't taken advantage of you. If you don't be careful your going to ruin my reputation." I tease while fluffing his pillow.

Careful not to jar him I remove his shirt, pants, and shoes before tucking him into bed. Shuffling into the bathroom I remove the party attire and slip into an old Bon Jovi tee. Tip toeing so I don't disturb him I slip into bed and snuggle deep under the covers.

"You just need some rest. I'll be here wehn you wake up." I assure him so that he can fall into a peaceful slumber.

Sighing I stare up at the ceiling in a state if unease. So this is why I stopped partying.

Remus

I watch as Max takes Liz to her bedroom and Maria does the same with Michael

No need for me to stick around I guess...for a moment I consider going and checking up on Liz...but I suppose Max has that covered

Why don't I just leave...I go to Maria's room "Hey...I'm leaving but if you need anything I'll be at Caly's apartment...that's where I'll be staying form now on."

"Look after my buddy for me." I say gesturing towards the sleeping figure of Michael "See ya!"

I shimmer out of there and into my apartment...it's empty
"I wonder where Caly is?"

For the first time tht night since Liz got hurt I look down at my pants,they're soaked with her blood

Oh well...no use keping these now.Might as well throw them out
"Time for a bath."

I feel life returning to me...but Im too dazed to speak.
Everythings a blur....
The next thing I know Im in my room...and Max kisses me gently before sitting down.
I lie still for a moment before bursting into tears.

He didnt hate me...did he. Thats why he thanked Michael...thats why he was so concerned.
It was all in my head....
And now...
I had kissed Remus.

Now Ive just ruined us for good.

Max

Liz is completly still and for a moment I think she has fallen asleep. Just as I am about to close my eyes Liz burst into tears.

Standing up I sit on the edge of the bed and rub Liz's back in a soothing motion.

He comes over to rub my back. It just makes me sob more....God he doesnt know what Ive done....
"Im....so sorry...M..Max." I say sobbing. "You dont understand.....Im such a horrible pe...person"

Max

What thought to be soothing only seems to make her cry harder so I remove my hand from her back.

"Im....so sorry...M..Max." "You dont understand.....Im such a horrible pe...person"

"Liz you are not a horrible person. You have nothing to be sorry about."

I practically wail. "No Max....you dont know....you dont know what I did....."

Max

I move my hand to put it on top of hers but stop myself knowing that last time I tried to comfort her it only made it worse.
