I look at Michael, Max and Liz. "I'll be back." I tell them and shimmer out to the attic to find Maria there, holding the book of shadows. "Maria." I whisper, my eyes wide.

*Maria*

"Maria" Tess whispers apparently surprised at my presence. Well, there goes the element of surprise.


"Nope. That's where your wrong. Sweet little Marianna is gone. You can call me Ria or Your highness. Whatever you feel comfortable with. I was just about to abdicate my postion as a Charmed one."

I smile mischievouly. "Sorry that I don't want to be a member of your stupid little club anymore. Wait.. No I'm not. I'm not sorry about anything. In fact, I don't feel much of anything, and when I rid myself of this last shread of humanity. I'll be able to do just about anything."

"What's wrong? Why do you look so upset? Isn't this what you wanted? Poor pathetic little Maria is gone. You don't have to deal with her silly issues anymore."

*Tess*

"Maria. that's not true. We never wanted to get rid of you. Your Liz's sister and my cousin and we both love you and care for you. Michael also loves you and cares for you. Don't do this Maria. Let us help you. Let me help you." I cry

*Maria*

I eye the blonde agravated at the situation.

"I don't need any help. I'm fine. In fact I am better than fine. I'm great. I have never felt this powerful ,and it's all thanks to you. If you and my sister hadn't turned your back on me I probably would have been able to fight off The Source's corruption, but you did, and for that I am very thankful."

"Well I was a little curious to see if I can touch the book. If I'm still apart of the triumpiate I should ba able to. Evil or not. Why don't we put it to the test. Shall we?"

Teasling I place my hand over the leather bound novel. I lower my hand carefully nervous to see the outcome. My fingertips brush the book allowing a smiloe to escape my lips.

"Ha! Apparently there is still enough good in me to embrace the book, but not for long."

I scoop up the witches' diary and shimmer out of there and back to the underworld. Now all I have to do is find a way to rennounce my positon.

*Tess*

I fall to my knees tears streaming down my cheeks my heart aching. I don't know what else to do to get Maria back. She's taken the Book Of Shadows and gones most likely to the underworld but I know Liz would be angry with me if I followed her and got hurt or killed. 'What do I do now?" I think to myself.

I feel a burst of worry coming from Tess.
"Tess? Whats going on?" I ask.

*Tess*

"Liz. Maria left with the Book Of Shadows." I tell her.

Shit!
"Come back here and we'll think of something" I tell her quickly.
Now we need Sebastians help, whether we like it or not.

*Tess*

I sigh and stand up shimmering back to the shop.

"Okay now what?" I ask

"We need a plan" I state. "Tess could you organise a power of three spell we could use with Sebastian to swap them back?" I ask.
