Kyle tried to grab me and pull me away from Dave. My gaze turned toward the human boy and I shook my head, feeling my beast raising, knowing that it would make my eyes hold an eerie light of amber when most times my eyes were hazel. "Kyle, get me a blanket and a burning piece of wood so I can try and save his life. He won't hurt me." Even as I spoke, I felt the urge to taste the blood that I smelled, to sample the flesh. The worst part of being a lycanthrope, is the urges that I still haven't completely gotten used to.
"Please, don't question me." I begged the boy, knowing that the pressure I held on Dave's wound was the only thing that might keep him alive until Mista could return and call the munin. Even then, Dave could still die if the munin didn't choose to work in a healing manner.
I just prayed that Dave wouldn't begin to revert to human form, the wounds would kill him. Even as I began hoping for this I heard a painful whisper, "Mo?"
I looked back at Dave to find his body slowly changing back to human and knew that it was too late to hide the truth from Kyle now and too late for Dave. Leaning down, I kissed his cheek even as I felt tears well up in my eyes. "I'm here, Dave. I'm here." I told him softly, even as I felt him slip away. His eyes closed and I heard him take his final breath.
I closed my eyes and looked up at the sky through the treeline, my mouth opened and without a thought, I released a mournful wolven cry. After several moments, I slowly stood, removing the sling even as I looked at Kyle, "When this is over, I'll ask my Ulfric and try and explain to you, but please, don't say anything about what you just witnessed."
Even as I speak, I reach down, lifting Dave in my arms, cringing as it causes a strain in my arm. Still, I carry him out of the camp area and set his body off into some bushes. I can't risk him being seen and the pack will tend him later. Once this is done, I go back into the camp and take out my cell phone, dialing RPIT myself. This time, my arm hanging loosely at my side, I simply flex my muscles slightly as I wait for RPIT to answer.
I'm using the cell as a two way radio which means anyone close enough to me can hear both sides of the conversation. "RPIT, how can we help you?"
"How far away is the RPIT team from the Woods attack that they were called into?" I ask simply, glancing at Kyle whom I made certain was close enough to hear.
"Just one moment...." I hear Leah, the Sgt. at the desk say as I vaguely hear her using a different radio. Then she comes back on the line, "Less then five. Has there been worse?"
"One wolf down so far." I respond hearing the catch in my throat. "I've got to go, Leah. I'll let my Ulfric know to call you later." I hung up and glanced at Kyle, "Real help is on it's way. I'll try to convince my Ulfric to speak to the RPIT officials and have them reveal the truth to your father so he's better prepared."
I remove the bandage from my arm and see that it's slowly beginning to knit back together, but replacing the bandage was done simply because the secret had to be maintained for now.

I am watching, the wolf part of me is wanting to hunt, but the human/alien part is simply watching. I hear Isabel say something about me, the wolf, and want to laugh. Of course, another part of me wanted to rip her throat out and I had to force back my beast. It wasn't time for the hunt and humans were never the prey in my book.
"A shapeshifter?" I hear the tentative sound on Max's voice and step forward, moving just a bit closer before I simply stand still and watch.
Liz surprises me as she steps away from the others and approaches me. My eyes watch her carefully and I'm waiting, waiting for her to give me a reason to attack her. She's not one of them, she's human. Yet even as I sniff the air, I realize there is something not quite human about her now, yet earlier there had been only a human scent. It had been when we were lighting fires earlier that I'd caught her scent. It had been human then, yet it had been tinged with an electrical current. Now it didn't smell human at all.
This fact confused me almost as much as the fact that it seemed as though somehow they already knew about lycan's and knew I was one. How could they have guessed? I didn't understand it, yet believing myself unmasked, I realized that it was better to reveal myself completely.
As Liz drops to her knees, I step forward, preparing to take another step when I see energy in front of me. I glance over at Max and then back to Liz even as I step forward again, pressing my muzzle up against the shield a moment before I lower my head and begin the slow shift back to my human form. I keep myself hunched over in order to keep from revealing my nudity and only lift my head once I'm human again. My hair covers my chest easily and the crunched position hides the rest for the moment.
"I'm not planning on harming anyone." I begin even as the sound of a mournful howl splits the air and my eyes widen.
"Michael, your trench.." Isabel mutters and I glance at Michael who is simply staring at me with shock. Isabel smacks his arm and he snaps out of it glaring at her, "Jacket, Michael."
Michael strips off his trench and holds it out toward me. Lifting only one hand, I take it and wrap it around my front half for the moment since this wasn't quite private enough to do it properly.
"Look, someone cover the signal. There's trouble back at the camp. Big trouble. I'll explain myself later." I said, even as I heard more of my wolves and reached out to them, letting my sight meld with theirs for a moment, long enough to see the threat.

I can't even believe what I'm seeing and hearing. Instead of attacking as it dies, the wolf becomes a person and he seems to recognise Moria. She certainly recognises him. I want to run and get help, but I can't seem to stop from watching as the boy dies and Moria howls like a heart-sick wolf before hauling him into the bushes.
"When this is over, I'll ask my Ulfric and try and explain to you, but please, don't say anything about what you just witnessed," she says and I swear I nearly fall over. Don't say anything? Myulfric will explain? I have no idea what she's talking about but I'm begining to realize that nobody would believe me if I tried to tell them, anyway.
She takes out a cell phone and calls a number on her speed-dial. She talks to Rpit? Someone called Leah. And again, Myulfric. Who could that be? And her arm looks like it's completely healed already. I thought she was critically injured.
"Real help is on it's way. I'll try to convince my Ulfric to speak to the RPIT officials and have them reveal the truth to your father so he's better prepared," she says, as if that makes some sort of sense. My dad's already headed away from camp and I don't have any idea how to find him. I need to warn him. It's crazy but I have to make him believe it. I can't let him be hurt.
"What are you talking about?" I ask, feeling frantic but keeping my voice just above a whisper. "What the hell just happened here? Is that a ... a werewolf?"

I watch as the wolf comes close, testing my shield. It backs up a step and then it's shape seems to warp and in a moment, there's a naked girl crouched in the bushes where the wolf had been.
Isabel speaks first, as I drop the shield. She makes Michael hand over his jacket. She accepts it, standing with the garment in front of her.
"Look, someone cover the signal. There's trouble back at the camp. Big trouble. I'll explain myself later," she says.
That's when I recognise her. "Mista?" I say not quite believing my eyes. She been among us and we never knew. Mista is still watching, shifting her eyes from the symbol to the woods and her words of warning come back to me.
"Right. The symbol," I say. I kneel again, extending my hand over the symbol. This time, I ignore the sense of information I'm still feeling. Like I should know what all this is about if I could only somehow remember. Instead, I use my powers to restore the grass, erasing all trace of the shape. Isabel drops beside me, helping to clear it.
OOC - should the sheriff be appearing? What will he think of a naked girl standing there?

“Liz no!”
I tense a moment at the sound, aware that if this is a real wolf, it could well cause it to attack. I know that Max is right, that this is very dangerous, but yet I can’t help feeling that I have to…
Looking back I see Max take a step towards me, and then before I realise what is happening, a green force field appears between me and the ‘wolf’ even as it approaches further.
It presses it’s nose up against the forcefield and then it lowers it’s head. Before my eyes, I see the wolf’s shape shift. A few minutes later, there’s a girl in it’s place and I look back at Max. Is this Nacedo…the alien they have been searching for…? Certainly Riverdog said he was male, but I guess a shapeshifter by nature might suggest he could appear as both…
She begins to speak, and as she does so, Isabel seems to notice her state of undress, demanding Michael’s coat which she then hands to her and then girl uses to cover herself as best as possible for the moment.
Another howl of a wolf, much like many that have been heard this evening, causes a look of distress on her face. It’s at that moment, pretty much at exactly the same time it appears that Max does, that I realise thatI recognise this girl. It’s Mista…from school… I swallow and shake my head mentally. If this is Nacedo, she’s been around so close for so long… How could we not have known… And if it isn’t ‘him’…does that mean there are more like ‘him’ that we don’t yet know about…?
Mentioning something about trouble back at camp, after giving instructions to clear up the signal, her eyes seem to glaze over as though she’s not completely still with us… I bite my lip and stand to one side, feeling like something of a spare part, as Isabel and Max drop down and restore the grass to it’s original condition. What does all this mean…?

"What are you talking about?" Kyle asks, his whisper frantic, "What the hell just happened here? Is that a ... a werewolf?"
I sigh and shake my head, "Not exactly. Look, there are zombies out there, coming towards this camp. They are a major threat and my people, the Lukoi which is what Dave was, are out there risking their lives to slow the progress and keep you humans safe." I sniffed the air, my nose picking up another scent, one that was not human or Lukoi. I knew well what it was, but whom and whether friendly was another issue.
Before I could say anything, a man with long, dark hair stepped through the edge of the woods and walked up to me. "Wolf, where is your Ulfric?"
"Near, she is near. Why do you enter here?" I ask, instantly stepping in front of Kyle in a protective stance.
"I've come to help and brought a few friends. I felt your plight." The man's voice was calming, soft and held a lilt of french.
"Kyle, don't look in his eyes." I say, warning him. Before looking at the vampire, "Who are you? Are you part of the throng that follows the she-devil?"
The vampire smiled, his fangs hidden carefully by his lips. "No, I do not follow her. I am Asher. As I said, here to help. Who is in charge with your Ulfric away?"
"Both of those in charge are busy, thus I am next in line." I reply. Even as I speak, I feel the pull of his energy, that which is connected to us as wolves. "Stop." I say simply.
"Forgive me, I simply wanted your pack to be aware that I have that ability." He responded before looking at Kyle, "Ah, innocence is still sweet. Do you wish for me to set him to be protected?"
"Yes, I'll need to shift soon." I replied.

This is astonishing. I haven't the faintest idea what Moria is really talking about. 'us humans?' Damn. Not that calling me 'human' is wrong, it's just that it implies she's something-else. Probably something like Dave -- not a werewolf, she says, although he sure as hell looks like the same thing to me.
"Kyle, don't look in his eyes." Moria warns me. Of course, that makes me want to look, but I turn away at the last second. What the heck is going on here? My grandfather was hunting aliens but maybe the truth is something older than that -- or are they the same?
Moria is demanding answers from this stranger. They're not in the same group, that's for sure, but they seem to know each other's kind well enough. Citing rules, it seems. I wish I knew what they were going on about. The other is asking about Urulrfic again. Whoever that is.

Okay, now they're talking about me. "Protected from what?" I demand, still keeping my eyes turned away although I feel like an idiot. What the hell would happen if I looked at him? "My dad's the sheriff. He's protecting everyone."

"Protected from what?" Kyle demands and I shake my head. Looking at the vampire, I wonder whether I should bother to explain or let Asher do so. "My dad's the sheriff. He's protecting everyone."
"Your word, Asher. Your word that no harm will come to him? That you'll not roll him?" I request, letting my eyes meet the vampires even though I still risked being rolled by him.
"My word, wolf. I'll not cause him harm or allow harm to touch him. Go, shift as you need to, I'll watch him and explain." Asher's french accent seemed to alter to where his voice was almost entrancing but I didn't feel trapped by his eyes which meant he wasn't trying to roll me.
With a sigh, I turned back to Kyle and placed my unbloodied hand on his for a moment, "Kyle, my life and many others depend on your silence. Please, tell no one anything you've seen or heard tonight. I'll explain everything when the time is right, but I must go now. Asher will keep a watch, keep you safe. There are things your father can not save you or anyone else from. I'll tell you everything later, I swear it."
Dropping his hands I stepped back, walked slowly out of the camp. Before I'd even reached the edge of the woods, my hands and feet had begun to change. Once I wasn't in the area where I could be easily seen, I removed my clothing and set them off to the side. Only then did I enter my full wolf form and the scent of the zombie's called me, drew me and built my hunger. I was hungry, my beast wanted to be fed.
ooc: Mista coming up soon...... I keep losing track of what I have planned for her........ sorry......

*Kyle*
Okay, this guy, Asher, comes closer giving his word he won't hurt me. His word. Ha! I'm supposed to trust that? I'd rather trust my boxing and wrestling experience.
"My word, wolf. I'll not cause him harm or allow harm to touch him. Go, shift as you need to, I'll watch him and explain," Asher says. He called her wolf. She is like Dave. A werewolf -- or whatever she wants to call it.
Moria touches me and I'm no longer sure if I like that. What is she? Wasn't I trying to protect her a moment ago? She says, "Kyle, my life and many others depend on your silence. Please, tell no one anything you've seen or heard tonight. I'll explain everything when the time is right, but I must go now. Asher will keep a watch, keep you safe. There are things your father can not save you or anyone else from. I'll tell you everything later, I swear it."
She said that before, that my dad can't protect us. She called some organization. RIPPED? What the hell is going on? Then she leaves, turning into a wolf like Asher said.
These people are definately abnormal. Are they the reason for all the rumors of aliens? Are they aliens? Moria doesn't want me to tell but if my friends are in danger, then how can I not do something? Damn.
I turn towards Asher, looking at his stomach. "So can I look at you now or what? What the heck would happen? Who's out there? She said you would explain."

~Mista~
"Mista?" I hear the disbelief in Max's voice and simply nod. What was there to say? At the moment my concern was what was happening with my wolves. Not to mention, my connection to them also felt as though it was suddenly being pulled to someone else and I knew what that meant. A Master Vampire with the ability to call wolves was near and I couldn't help but be glad when just as abruptly as the pull began it stopped. I could resist but my wolves wouldn't all be able to. My gaze shifts between the symbol and the direction of the camp.
"Right. The symbol," Max says and kneels, Isabel moving to do the same and at one point Michael joining as well. Together the three of them manage to cover the symbol, the grass becoming completely normal.
I wrap the jacket tighter around me, glad that someone had actually had something that would completely cover me. Then, I vaguely catch a scent on the air a moment before I hear, "Well, if it isn't Miss Evans, Mr Evans, Mr Guerin, Miss Parker.... and I don't recall your name young lady. What is going on here?"
I watch as Michael stands, ready to protect the others it seemed. However, Isabel spoke first, "Oh, Sheriff, it's so good to see you. When the things at camp began happening I'd needed to go to the bathroom and asked Max to come with me since I didn't know if there was another area set up but it seemed the threat was coming from the one we usually use." Her voice sounds nearly real about it, but I'm sure he's not going to buy it.
"Sheriff Valenti," I begin as I step forward, "My name is Mista and I believe you have more to worry about back at that camp then some wayward teens unless of course you don't care that your son and some of the other kids could be getting torn to pieces by zombies at this very moment." As I look at him, I can feel my beast swimming in my gaze. "There are dangers in this world, Sheriff.... One's that are worse then any you could imagine, ones that have lived amongst humanity since humanity was first born."
I turn to face the others, certain that they will see the unusual glint in my eyes as I tell them, "Thank you for your timely rescue. Please be safe as you return to the camp and let Moira know I'm alright." And, then without thinking or giving anyone a chance to respond, I do the one thing that I know won't be the best idea, but will be the only thing that will allow us to get back to the camp in time to save lives. I turn quickly back to the Sheriff, my hand raised and automatically rushing down to connect with one specific nerve in his neck, causing him to crumple to the ground unconscious.
With a shake of my head, I lean down and pick him up, tossing him over my shoulders. As much as I would like to leave him behind, I can't. I'll just have to hope that something can be done to make him forget and if that Master Vamp is in the area, he might be able to do that for me. Looking at the others, I state, "Now, go back to the camp. I'll be coming as well. Elder, I suggest you return home the night is crawling and it isn't safe."
The elder Apache smiled, "A great mystery will always remain until one breaks a cycle, Mista."
"I'm about to do just that, Honored One. Please, go safely. The wolves will watch over you." I tell him before turning toward the camp and starting off at a run. My wolves are crying out so painfully at times that it's hard for me to remain standing, my eyes fill with tears. With my inhuman speed, I reach the camp rather quickly and drop the Sheriff just within the camp limits.
Going over to my clothing, I get out of the jacket and dressed normally, instantly taking out my blade and cutting both of my palms. I circle the camp, the entire time thinking about how I want to protect the humans and those that were hybrids just as much as I want to protect my wolves.

After watching Mista run off so quickly, knowing there was no way we could keep up, I still ran toward the camp as quickly as I could though I did take a moment long enough to tell Max, "I knew there was a reason I didn't like her."
After a while of running, I couldn't continue and slowed to a walk. I'm not the physical ed type person so running was never my thing. Michael slows beside me even though I know he could run more then I could. "What was up with her eyes?"
"I don't know, Michael. How would I know?" I asked him, noting that I didn't sound that friendly, "Sorry, I don't mean to take it out on you. There's just always been something I didn't trust about that girl and now.. look what happened."
