"Bye George!" I tell him happily, not in the least annoyed by his comment.

"Shut up you jerk. I'm sorry Alex." Okay, I guess Isabel is.

Glancing around momentary, yes a few people are looking at us, I focus my attention on Isabel again (not a hard task, believe me), "Don't worry Isabel. I don't really care about his opinion and I've certainly been called worse in my life."

Shifting slightly, so I can look better at her, I softly add, "Besides, I kinda feel like the winner here so ... who cares about what Grant says?"

Hmm...is that an excuse? God this woman annoys me SO much!!! Why do I even bother?! Oh yeah...she's hot.

"Sure" I say as I step away from her slightly and pick up my drink once more. "Enjoy" I state as I go to refill my drink... and possibly take my frustration out on someone else whos female and semi-cute/hot.

Isabel

"Bye George. Alex calls after Grant and I can't help but burst out laughing even though I was angry only a moment ago by Grant's behaviour "Don't worry Isabel. I don't really care about his opinion and I've certainly been called worse in my life."

Moving a little closer he says to me,"Besides, I kinda feel like the winner here so ... who cares about what Grant says?"
"Certainely not me." I reply looking in to his eyes which are a lovely green/blue/grey all rolled in one "You've got pretty eyes Alex."

Occ: Oh, I have some real games in mind to play, if I can just get rid of Grant for Isabel first. LOL! Oh, Karen, if you want me to ad lib for Grant in this situation, let me know. Otherwise, I'm assuming you're playing him for the moment.

I give Max a radiant smile before stepping away and going up to where Grant is now standing after what looked like another confrontation between him and Isabel and Alex. "Sorenson, what the hell are you doing here? Because I'm damn sure that I didn't include you on the invitation list. In fact, I thought I had made it plain to you that you were no longer welcome here and that if you showed your face again, you would be in jail for tresspassing." I cross my arms in front of my chest as I speak to Grant.

I lead Tess over to the food table and fix a plate. "Are you allergic to anything? Is there anything I should avoid putting on this plate to share?" I ask her. If I remember right, Liz is highly allergic to strawberries so I know those won't be around tonight. Once, we went out for lunch and she got a smoothie that she didn't know had strawberries in it. Poor thing spent the next 24 hours in the hospital! It wasn't on the list of ingredients on the menu at the cafe we were at and I believe that Mr. Parker sued that cafe and then bought them out when they went bankrupt. It serves not one strawberry in anything.

Alex

"You've got pretty eyes Alex."

I blink in surprise at that. Okay, that's a first - no one ever told me that. "Uh ... well ... thanks." I stutter, caught totally off-guard. "I'm glad you think so but I'm sure mine aren't as gorgeous as yours."

Just then I notice Liz staring down Grant which is kinda funny since the guy is certainly taller than Liz.

"Looks like Liz isn't happy about G-boy being here either." I comment, still feeling slightly surprised about the eyes-thing. I'm probably blushing too.

Isabel

"I'm glad you think so but I'm sure mine aren't as gorgeous as yours." and I drop my gaze and look at my lap,embarrassed but highly pleased

The whole staring in to each others eyes was getting too intense and I couldn't hold it any longer otherwise I think I might have kissed him.

"Looks like Liz isn't happy about G-boy being here either." and I follow his gaze
"Uh oh...Liz looks like she's going to erupt.Well this should be interesting.She always hated Grant." I say with a nervous little laugh

I'm liking Liz more and more. Maybe she'll drag him out by his ear or hit him where it really hurts! That's mean, I know but ... I'd so not feel sorry for Granty.

But Isabel seems kinda embarrassed about something. Or she is just feeling uncomfortable about something.

"Call me paranoid," I start, looking at her, "but ... something seems to be ... bothering you."

Isabel

"Me! No nothing...I just don't want there to be a scene because of me.Stupid man,I wish he hadn't come.Always spoiling things."

Then turning to Alex I smile brightly,"SO are you horrifed with my last choice of boyfriend that you are ready to run for your life?"

Alex

Another thing Isabel and I have in common - I'd rather not have him here either.

I laugh out loud at that. "Sorry Isabel but if you want to get rid of me, you'll have to try harder, we geeks are persistant when we find something that interests us." I tell her with a wink.

"Besides, I'm sure that compared to my ex-girlfriend, Grant is a ... well ... lets just say my ex-girlfriend is a really ... uh ... original character too." I finally manage to get out, unsure how to describe both Grant and Leanna. Then I realize what I just said and smile sheepishly, "Guess I now also have to worry about you running for your life."

Isabel

"Sorry Isabel but if you want to get rid of me, you'll have to try harder, we geeks are persistant when we find something that interests us."

"Good...then I'll be sticking to Geeks from now on. Got any phone numbers of your geek friends on you?" I ask cheekily and grin at him

"I think both our exes are characters from what you've told me about Leanna.Hey may be we should fix them up." I suggest jokigly after hearing Alex trying to describe Leanna
