ooc; Sorry I haven't posted.... been without net and really busy preparing for a move.... I'm going to try and get posts out tonight after I get out of work.

SERENA

I roll my eyes at Zan and Tess. They really do bring out the child in each other. I love Tess and she is lucky that I love her so much because if it had been any other woman in my boyfriend’s arms, I would be mad with jealousy. I’m not normally a jealous person but Zan brings out the worse in me and he is the one thing in my life that I refuse to share with anyone else.

“Leave her alone, Zan. Otherwise everyone is going to think that there is some truth to it.” I say with a grin.

“Ouch!” Tess cries as Zan drops her in a ungraceful heap onto the floor. She glares at him as she gets up but it doesn’t seem to have much impact on Zan. In fact, he seems more then a little amused by the glare.

“What? You asked me to put you down!” He says innocently, his arms folded across his chest smugly.

“Jackass,” She mutters before turning to Liz and Isabel with a radiant smile. “Are you guys ready to head out? I’m starved.”

I don’t hear what the others reply, my attention taken completely by Zan as he strides across the kitchen to my side. God, he is beautiful. My heart flutters like a butterfly as he smiles at me.

“You look tired,” I murmur, reaching up to caress his cheek. He turns his head and kisses the palm of my hand, sending shivers down my spine. Even when he looks like he’s about to collapse from lack of sleep, he still looks so damn sexy that I want to pounce on him.

“I’m fine.”

I nod but don’t buy his words. As soon as everyone leaves I’m going to make sure that he goes to bed to get some sleep. I’ve got to go over the books for the club so that should keep me busy while he’s a sleep.

“Alex and Seth are heading back to their house now,” I explain to Zan before asking Alex, “Are you sure that you want to go now?”

ALEX

“Are you sure that you want to go now?”

Smiling at Serena, I nod. "Yeah, I am. Believe me it is fun and I'd really love to stay but I want Seth to get a bit familar with the new place before he goes to bed and the lights are turned off. He might not be that afraid if he wakes up in the night and everything is new and strange to him."

Running a hand through my hair, I give an embarrassed grin, "Besides, even though Zan's been pretty cool about it, I'm certain that Seth woke him and ... don't want to keep him from sleeping. Knowing you, he needs as much sleep as he can get."

SERENA

"Yeah, I am. Believe me it is fun and I'd really love to stay but I want Seth to get a bit familiar with the new place before he goes to bed and the lights are turned off. He might not be that afraid if he wakes up in the night and everything is new and strange to him." Alex states.

I nod because of course, Alex’s words make sense and I don’t want Seth waking up in the middle of the night afraid just because I, selfishly, wanted to spend more time with them. They here to stay now, I have to keep reminding myself. There will be loads of chances to hang out with them again.

"Besides, even though Zan's been pretty cool about it, I'm certain that Seth woke him and ... don't want to keep him from sleeping. Knowing you, he needs as much sleep as he can get." Alex says with an embarrassed grin as he runs his hand through his head. I wonder if Isabel has noticed how adorable my cousin really is.

“Ha! That’s really cute, cousin dearest.” I say, rolling my eyes. Ah, I remember the good old days when it was me keeping Zan up all night instead of work. “Anyway if it hadn’t have been Seth it would have been Tess. Right, Zan?” I add, hoping to make Alex feel better.

“Yeah, probably.” Zan agrees. “It was nice meeting you at last, Alex. You too, Seth.”

ALEX

"Same here." I tell Zan and when I hear nothing from Seth, I look down and .. he's eating again. He certainly reminds me of me.

"If you want, you can come to my place on Saturday or Sunday so you can see my crib too." I tell Serena and Zan.

"Oh dad, don't say *crib*!" Seth suddenly announces.

"What? So now you can talk again?" I ask him, watching as he takes yet another cookie again. Turning back to Serena, I say, "You better hide those or he'll eat them all and you won't ahve any left."

SERENA

"Same here”

I can’t help smiling at Zan and Alex. Wow, the first meeting between a member of my family and my boyfriend is coming to a end and no one got hurt. This is a good sign. Maybe once Zan has gotten to know Alex, I’ll be able to get him to come to New Hampshire and meet my parents and siblings.

"If you want, you can come to my place on Saturday or Sunday so you can see my crib too." Alex says.

"Oh dad, don't say *crib*!" Seth says, his nose wrinkling in disgust making him look so much like Abby that it hurts. God, I miss her so much.

"What? So now you can talk again?" Alex says, grinning down at his son. "You better hide those or he'll eat them all and you won't have any left."

“They were made to be eaten,” I say, ruffling Seth’s hair. “And you should totally listening to the kid. He is obviously wise beyond his years.”

Seth looks pointedly up at Alex as if to say I told you so and looks so damn adorable that I can’t resist passing him another cookie. Man, I wish that I could keep him forever. He is just the cutest kid on the planet. Hmm, I wonder what a kid of mine and Zan’s would look like. He’d probably have Zan’s eyes and maybe his… Okay so I shouldn’t even be going down this avenue of thought. Its so very wrong.

“So, what do you think about dinner?” Alex asks.

“Well, its Saturday today so that’s kinda out.” I say, “And Saturdays are my busiest night at the club so I like to be there to make sure its running smoothly.”

“And I’m working the night shift tomorrow night,” Zan adds and I try not to frown because this is the first I’ve heard of it.

“What about Monday night?” I suggest hopefully. I don’t want Alex to think that I’m brushing him off or anything even though I remember his cooking as something that should be avoided at all costs. “Oooh and maybe you could get Michael to come. Its about time he stopped avoiding me.”

ooc: this isn't the best I know... muse issues.... also, I'd have posted some time ago for Max... but with everyone moving so quickly, I'm not sure what to do..

~Michael~

"I'm not going to die? I'm not going to die," Maria begins whispering with relief after the plane begins to even out. I see that smile and can't help but feel a tug somewhere deep within me.

"You know, you're really good at calming people down, what are you, a psychologist?" I laugh and shake my head, still keeping my arm around her and running my hand through her hair, unable to keep from wanting to make sure that she was calm and comfortable.

"Sorry, I tend to ramble," Maria adds and I can't help but at the moment find that to be cute.

"It's alright, as long as you feel better about things, that's all that matters. Talk all you wish, but I tell you now, you won't die. I've been in worse turbulance." I smiled at her and gave her shoulder a light squeeze. "Just try to relax and keep your breathing evened out."

ALEX

"Yeah, Monday sounds great and is probably the best solution because this way, I can at least buy some food before you come." I totally forgot about food and such, it will be enough for me and Seth but for guests?

"Haven't seen Michael in a while. Any big chances in his life that I should know of?" I ask Serena before realizing how rude I must have sounded and I turn to the others. "You are all of course also invited. We should all fit into my place."

ooc: this isn't the best I know... muse issues.... also, I'd have posted some time ago for Max... but with everyone moving so quickly, I'm not sure what to do..

Tess, Liz and Isabel asked Max if he wanted to join them for lunch.
